‘This week Ang is joined by Lisa Quait personal coach and creator of the ‘Real Women’s Stories’ Podcast. Lisa has had an extraordinary life with great personal hardship. But, due to her incredible determination and fuelled by the love of her daughter, she has overcome her hardships to find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow we all search for. In this interview with Ang, Lisa shares her journey of love, loss and heartache, but also, how knowing your worth is key to finding your happiness.

KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • Lisa’s parents divorced when she was only 3 years old. She recounts how this experience shaped her early life and the effects it had on her.

  • Lisa formed a strong bond with her grandparents after her parents separated. As she grew older, she began to realise how special their relationship was, which, as she tells Ang, led her to accepting that her marriage was over.
  • As Lisa was going through her divorce she reconnected with an old friend. When they found themselves falling in love, they realised they had to do things right. She shares with Ang how this relationship was approached with all that she had learned.

ABOUT THE PODCAST

Do I Really Hate Men?

Interesting question and one I have asked myself many times. This is not an ‘I hate men’ podcast neither is it just an account of my divorce and the many awful events leading up to and during it. This podcast is a safe space to delve into what happens when relationships end

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
