Arlene Slocombe is the Executive Director of the Wellington Water Watchers, soon to be the Water Watchers. The organization was founded in 2007 and is based out of Wellington County, Ontario. Their work is dedicated to protecting, restoring and conserving drinking water in the province. They also guide grassroots movements in their mission to preserve safe water. Arlene has been with the Wellington Water Watchers since its founding. She joins Earth Care to talk about the various threats to our safe drinking water and what we can to do help protect it.
