Nadat ze door René werd bedreigd met een revolver, heeft Manuela nooit meer contact gehad met wie dan ook uit de kungfu-groep. Soms heeft ze nog wel nachtmerries over die tijd, maar gaat het leven door. Tot ze twaalf jaar na dato ineens een bericht krijgt.
