E47: Chakras: The Main Energy Centers of our Bodies

Ron and Robin kick off Season 2 with Maureen Burford; a veteran teacher with 38 years of experience working with students from the early years through college. As founding director of the nonprofit Creative Lives, Maureen trains educators and parents in an innovative, whole child approach that helps young people reach their potential and thrive. In 2019, she received The Lynn von Trapp Award for excellence in leading programs for youth in Vermont. Maureen holds an M.Ed. in Creative Education from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a B.A. in music from Cornell University.

There are seven energy centers in the human energy field that correlate to places in our physical body. Each of these chakras represents an aspect of our nature. And, as Ellen would say, it is through the system that we receive, and process, and express, our life‘s experiences.
