En entrevista con Enfoque Noticias, Karla María Estrella, ciudadana originaria de Hermosillo, Sonora, acusada y sancionada por el Tribunal Electoral del Poder Judicial de la Federación (TEPJF) por violencia política de género tras un comentario publicado en redes sociales contra la diputada Diana Karina Barreras Samaniego, del Partido del Trabajo (PT).
Explicó que la sanción fue resultado de una publicación realizada en X (antes Twitter) el 14 de febrero de 2024, en la que Estrella insinuó que la diputación de Barreras obedecía a su relación con su esposo, el morenista Sergio Gutiérrez Luna.
