No “Estadão Analisa” desta quinta-feira, 18, Carlos Andreazza comenta sobre a costura no Congresso para aprovar a Proposta de Emenda Constitucional (PEC) da Blindagem, que cria uma série de empecilhos para a prisão e a abertura de processos contra parlamentares.
A PEC da Blindagem pode atingir 36 inquéritos que envolvem 108 parlamentares no Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF). Pela redação atual, esses casos só poderão avançar para se tornarem ações penais com aval do Congresso. A proposta beneficia diretamente Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP) e alcança tanto aliados do governo quanto opositores, especialmente em investigações sobre desvios de emendas parlamentares.
O texto, articulado pelo Centrão, foi aprovado por 344 votos a 133 e segue para o Senado. A PEC altera a Constituição ao transferir para a Câmara ou o Senado a prerrogativa de autorizar o processamento criminal de deputados e senadores. Na prática, o STF terá de pedir esse aval à Casa em que o parlamentar exerce mandato para dar continuidade a uma ação penal.
