O Brasil tem avançado muito no tema da identificação precisa e segura de seus cidadãos, que é de grande relevância para o fortalecimento da cidadania e para a modernização do Estado. Mas ainda há desafios em torno desse elemento essencial para a garantia de direitos, o acesso a políticas públicas e a eficiência do governo digital: garantir que as bases biométricas de diversas instâncias de governo sejam unificadas, passo fundamental para melhorar o atendimento da população, além de fortalecer a integração de camadas de segurança e inteligência para garantir que a identificação seja cada vez mais cidadã.
