O Governo escolheu o Chega para aprovar o pacote legislativo referente à imigração que pode ter chegado a um milhão e 600 mil residentes em 2024. O Presidente da República afirma-se “perplexo” com estes números do governo que não jogam com os do INE sobre total de residentes em Portugal e acrescenta que precisamos de “números exactos para podermos ter políticas públicas com cabeça, tronco e membros”. Daniel Oliveira, comentador da SIC e colunista do Expresso, diz que o Governo está a esconder debilidades em áreas que são prioritárias para os portugueses.
