Deze week stond in het teken van het rapport van Peter Wennink. De oud-topman van ASML is door het kabinet gevraagd advies te geven over de Nederlandse economie en hoe we ons verdienvermogen kunnen vergroten. Al maanden wachten we hierop en vrijdag was het dan eindelijk zover, het rapport: De route naar toekomstige welvaart kwam uit, met de ondertitel: Een sterk Nederland in een relevant Europa.
We gaan in op de zorgen van Wennink en kijken naar de oplossingen die hij biedt. We hebben lof, maar moeten zeker ook wat kritische kanttekeningen plaatsen.
In zijn rapport oppert Wennink ook een Nationale Investeringsbank. Daar hebben wij het eerder over gehad in Toegevoegde Waarde, zoals beloofd een link naar die aflevering.
