Politici en legercommandanten laten het woord oorlogseconomie vaker vallen. Wat is een oorlogseconomie? Hoe ziet je leven er dan uit? De kans dat Nederland in een echte oorlogseconomie terechtkomt is niet heel groot, denkt macro-econoom Jasper Lukkezen van de Universiteit Utrecht. Toch vindt hij het belangrijk dat we wel over die vraag nadenken, want er is wetgeving in de maak die een kwaadwillende regeringsleider kan gebruiken om Nederland te veranderen in een oorlogseconomie.
