Cor blijkt groot fan van de doorrekeningen omdat het partijen verplicht concreet te worden over maatregelen. Dit maakt niet alleen duidelijker wat partijen nu precies willen maar het is ook goed voor het onderlinge debat. Martine plaatst wel een aantal kanttekeningen bij de mate waarin de plannen exactheid suggereren. De praktijk is volgens haar vaak weerbarstiger.
