Anine started to experience anxiety in small ways as a child, often freezing in situations where she felt fearful or under pressure, such as performing or at school.
Part of the reason Anine followed her career path, into a role with a lot of public speaking, was to face her fears. It did help but she still hadn’t addressed the underlying problem, of what was causing her anxiety.
To live life to the fullest we have to keep pushing ourselves out of our comfort zones and this means facing our fears.
Our body can respond physically when we are not aligned or if we are doing something that we feel we aren’t capable of. Our learnt limiting beliefs, rules and expectations can impact us unconsciously.
When we feel anxiety, we need to be curious about it, it’s our body and brain trying to tell us something.
Anine made a conscious decision to no longer live in fear and live authentically and this is when her anxiety began to reduce.
