On episode eleven of Fine Vines and Wine, I’m joined by Paul Taylor, the founder of A Glass Of - a business where we, as the consumer, are connected with great wine makers that we might not have heard of before, allowing us to try a glass and a bit of their wine. All of the wines are also picked by different sommeliers around Australia, starting off with Gabby Webster; head sommelier at Bondi Icebergs Dining Room.
We discuss the tight knit community that being apart of the wine industry offers, the journey of A Glass Of, from talks with their first sommelier to thinking of the packaging and getting the wines to the consumer, and how sustainability is so important, not just through recycling but also pre-cycling as well.
I actually bought Gabby’s wine selection after our chat and I was thoroughly impressed, so much so, that I have now found a new favourite Chardonnay.
As always please head to my instagram www.instagram.com/finevinesandwine for a list of all the wines discussed in this week’s episode.
