Technology is getting weirder and weirder. In the past couple of months I have had two encounters with the Meta glasses. In one instance I had a very negative emotional reaction to seeing them and in the other I had no emotional reaction at all. So what does it mean?

Back in June there was story on the local news about Rodney Lee. He had a heart attack while out on a local Knoxville nature trail. He encountered a Good Samaritan, Zach during his ordeal and Zach was able to assist Rodney until EMTs arrived. After his hospital stay, Rodney was on a mission to thank Zach. I also thought the "Race Is On" was a Sawyer Brown song until I was in my 20's and so did another country superstar. January 31, 2025: A plane crashes into a Philadelphia neighborhood killing 7 people and injuring 24 others. One of the injured was a 10 year old boy who asked two very important questions when he regained consciousness 2 days later. This is his story.

The last time I had to find a new general practitioner the process was so easy. I had a buddy recommend a doctor to me, they took my insurance, bada bing boda boom I had a doctor for the next 17 years. Then he retired. And now I am in limbo trying to get seen by someone I actually like.

We are roughly three weeks into the new year and some might still be riding high on those New Year's Resolutions or Goals and some might be hitting a wall. Wherever you are you're still on the rollercoaster of emotion. I read a great email today about understanding the phases of the emotional rollercoaster and learned some tips to make sure you don't get stuck or even worse, derailed.

The closer we get to Halloween the more my social media feeds fill up with seasonal advertising. And most of the products being pushed are crap. But this is just my opinion and my experience.

My nerves are raw and I am at the point where I might lose my $h#t if I see one more ad that promises to regrow my natural hair delivered to me by a woman wearing hair extensions. This is a rant.
