Speaker 1 (00:02):
Welcome back to the Football Today podcast, brought to you
by Betfair, who are on your side this EPL season.
I'm your host, Liam McCain, also known as the Stats
Guy sometimes Ben Chilwell. As always, I'm joined by Marcus Barzana.
Here you going, Marcus, I'm going very good. You love
that Ben Chilwell reference. Yeah, I think it's a very
good looking man. I wish he could get out of
the park a bit more for my beloved.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
He did get added to the squad. If you saw
re added back to the squad because they couldn't get
rid of him.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
That's a promising sign. And Chelsea won over the weekend.
So you're you're up and about.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
I'm happy. I'm happy so far?

Speaker 3 (00:29):
Yeah, so far. Yeah, it wasn't that convincing.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
It wasn't very convincing that look, God, Jayden Sanchel assist
on debut was kind of clean manches supporters just got
very salty.

Speaker 3 (00:37):
Yeah, he doesn't.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
He didn't do much at all for men you, So
I'm happy he's contributing already for Chelsea. All right, we
are here for all things English Premier League, heading into
an exciting match Week five. Yeah, obviously, already four games down.
It's actually flying a little bit. We had the International
breaker five feels like really early that it's already gone through.
Today we're going to cover the top football and EPL news,
our best Betfair back and lay tips actually, and also

(01:00):
some expert tips from Betfair Zone expert Tony Hargreaves, so
very excited with that trivia with Olivia that always just
rolls off the tongue very nicely, and finished off with
some quick fire tips.

Speaker 3 (01:08):
I say quickfire. We never really get through.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
Them quick fire, but we're trying to do some quick
fire tips of EPR matric fire to end off. Before
we start, make sure you subscribe to our YouTube channel
for the Football Today podcast. Follow our socials at Football
Today AU on TikTok and Football Today Australia on Facebook
and Instagram.

Speaker 3 (01:23):
There we go, got through it. There we go, all
right around the grounds. We always start with that.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
There's so much happening in the world of the Premier
League and football in general, as Ossie is going to
touch on some.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
Ozzie stuff as well, plenty of Ozzy stuff to talk about.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
The man everyone's talking about he wrote The Human Robot,
the guy that just scores goals for fun Earling Harland.
He has the most goals in EPR history through the
first four games. He's already got nine goals March. If
you don't have him in your fantasy Premier League team,
you're an idiot. I don't eve understand. I don't even
care if he was all your budget. Just put him
in your team because he's just been unbelievable. Has he
got nine goals already before.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
The season started, I was like, do I put Earl
Harlem in? Yeah? I was like, yes, yeah, and he
smashed it for me. He's basically winning games fantasy games
off his own boot.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
Yeah. Even for man City without him, they would be
probably cooked.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
He's still still going to average that. He's on truck
for the eighty plus goal season. So what has he
got the record with thirty six or something like that. Yeah,
something like that.

Speaker 3 (02:13):
He's going to easily surpass that.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
It easily beat that. That's unreal. He was so close
to almost getting a hatrick against Branford. Unreal.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
I thought no one would be that close to that record,
But you got Rooney who had eight goals in the
first four games one season, So that really surprised Rooney's
I think one of the best Premier League plays of
all time. But I was just done and people go, oh,
he's a bit of a tapping merchant. The goals he
gets and always like the chip, Yeah's way he sets
himself up.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
The strength I think he's unbelieving.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
The strength and the burst of pace, athleticism like one
on one, like bumping off the defender. He just he's
got everything down to a teeth.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
If we like, shave off his skin, do you reckon?
It's like terminator under there, just like a I don't know,
he's not real.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
He scored a hat trick on his Champions League dating
yeahs when he was at Salzburg.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
Solzburg, Yeah yeah, RB Salzburg where they're not allowed to
call themselves red Bull for different reasons, but they just
call him Arby and have a big red Bull logo.
That's another story. Yeah, he's just been unloaded for a
long long time. Feels like he's been around for age
as well, but still.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
So young city they called Arsenal don't like this week,
Yeah so, and he hasn't been too good against Arsenal,
which we'll touch on.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
But we have to have a look at that one
next one North London Derby as OSSI's I don't like
talking down on Ande, but he's been talking a big
game lately and with ange Ball, and they keep losing.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
So has been I think that's been taken out of
context a little bit by the English media. He said
he was just he was spitting facts though everywhere has
been in the second season's trop that's true, but in
the context of the way he said it after Coppying
back to back defeat, Yeah, it was a bit rough.

Speaker 3 (03:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
I do like his confidents in the media, but I
think he sometimes needs to calm down a little bit. Like,
what are the chances Tottenham actually win a trophy this season?
I think it's very little. Yeah, playing really like their
build up played a lot of the shots on goal
is really good, and then they're just not finishing at all,
Like they should have scored at least one against Arsenal
and just couldn't get through.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
Yeah, I'm not really worried about I think that will come.
I think Nix like he is just a natural finish up.
He had a chance that he could have scored against
in the North London Derby. But look, I think it'll
it'll come around a little bit, but they just haven't
had the rob of the green no lately.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
They obviously he lost one Neil's arsenal over the weekend.
It looked weird arsoually in that the Lynks Africa kit
they're calling him.

Speaker 2 (04:18):
Yeah, yeah, that's a good reference.

Speaker 1 (04:19):
I like the little of that little kid and all
their kids in Africa are related to things like that.
But again that's the Ange boys. The worry they're conceding
from set pieces. Another goal, where was it Gabrielle got
off a header?

Speaker 3 (04:32):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
They just need to fix up that otherwise, because their
attack does look okay even though they're not scoring too
many goals, their defense looks a worry on those corners.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
Christian Mamiro, what was he thinking, You've on your center
back to be yeah strong, yeah, stand his ground, and
he just anything anything wasn't I saw.

Speaker 1 (04:48):
Some other podcast saying that was a foul on Romero,
but no, no, no way, I think that's.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
Just some It's one of those were like two hands
were in the back. It wasn't enough to.

Speaker 1 (04:55):
It happens almost every corner of that type of thing,
so yeah, not strong enough. Next one We've got to
touch on Knots. Nottingham Forests got their first ever win
at Anfield.

Speaker 3 (05:03):
What the hell? What?

Speaker 2 (05:05):
Yeah, that's that's crazy, I think. Is that in Premier League?
Like yeah, seventy something years, Yeah, seventy four years or
something like that.

Speaker 3 (05:12):
Just unbelievable. What a goal from Hutson and doy is
my boy color? Whatsoy?

Speaker 1 (05:16):
Which I was so mad that Chelsea got rid of him.
He's actually been bawling at not Knots for us.

Speaker 2 (05:20):
So he is sort of that one trick pony where
he cuts on his and then curls in the far post.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
It does all the time. He's never gone to his
left like he just got to defend that right side.
But good finish, it's good Finish's got the win there.
Let's touch on this morning. In the Champions League, my
Munich scored the most ever goals in a Champions League
game nine two win over Dynamos Zagreb. Just brutal, Like
I felt so bad for Zachgreb. They're just topping goals
left front. It's center former palace boy. He got a brace,

(05:46):
Michael Lisa.

Speaker 3 (05:47):
Yeah, at least they got a goal.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
Yeah, And one funny thing about Bayern Munich in the
Champions League, is that one of our very own is
in their Jams League squad as Nesta roy Iaron Kunda
remember the name. Yes, he's got in the likes with
Harry Kane, Seabury, Kingsley, Comen Matthias tell.

Speaker 3 (06:08):
Yes, he deserves to be in there.

Speaker 1 (06:09):
He's been dominating there in the reserves team, the reserves
team being so got even all the comments and the
social media hype around Irene awce them to the watch
as an Aussie and it's.

Speaker 3 (06:19):
Going to be so good for the soccer rowers.

Speaker 2 (06:20):
I think, Yeah, see the Bayern Munich like the campus
page and they're always posing highlights of him scoring like yeah,
training and then like doing backflips. He's going to be
very exciting in the next couple of years. And I think,
you know, if they tie up this Champions League group
with the last game or two remaining, could get a.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
Game that'd be sick, especially when they're nine to up there.
Agregod has already top, They've already are right up there.
Another I was he James Overy, sixteen year old has
just signed for Manchester United. I think that's in their
academy breaking breaking news. Just yeah, just recently Marcus found
that one spoken to James James tod No. But he's
done really well obviously getting to Manchester United. That awesome

(07:00):
if he can go through the academy and today in
two thousand and seven.

Speaker 3 (07:03):
Wait, really, I.

Speaker 2 (07:04):
Feel so old.

Speaker 3 (07:06):
I feel old stand next to you two thousand and one.
That's true.

Speaker 1 (07:09):
Anything alter two thousand shouldn't be allowed like Adam I
don't know in public doing anything adult wise, whereas seven
and he's at Manchester nine.

Speaker 2 (07:17):
Yeah what right back defended? I play a right wing
as well, So just out of luck to him, Yeah,
take out, take out Luke Shaw or someone like he's
looking back, but there's some of that one.

Speaker 3 (07:26):
Of those players. Chuck him right in there.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
Yeah, for sure he'll be a future Yeah soccer, which
would be very excited to watch. Talking about the Aussies,
wul go to the women's side. Now, the Matildas have
a new interim coach in Tom Soamani.

Speaker 3 (07:35):
I say new.

Speaker 1 (07:35):
He's the longest serving coach in actually Matilda's history, the
seven year old Scottsman. He's been there ninety ninety four
to ninety ninety seven. When the Matildas were first actually
named the Matilda so he was a part of that
sort a documentary about him. He seems like an absolute legend,
but he was also there two thousand and five twenty twelve. Yep,
I know that he's a legend, but it's just funny
the interim coach that is like, oh, we probably don't

(07:56):
have anyone at the moment.

Speaker 3 (07:56):
Tom just come back.

Speaker 1 (07:58):
He's left his duties at Western Sydney just to do
this interim coach. I don't mind it because just interim,
but it seems weird to go.

Speaker 2 (08:04):
That he did manage it. Was an assistant at the
Canada women's steps and in the New Zealand New Zealand
women's side he was the main main head coach as well,
so he's got some international experience behind him. So you know,
hopefully he can play an attractive brand of football because
the amount of totality players that we have in the Matildas,

(08:25):
especially in the attacking third, is unmatched, almost unmatched compared
to everyone else.

Speaker 1 (08:30):
Yeah, that he's going to be so good, I think
just for Australia's team. Obviously everyone calls them mantilters that
and he knows the vibe already knows the vibe. I
think he actually knows a lot of the staff and
players already. So that's just great and I think that's
perfect for an interim coach. It will put us back
on track with a new coach and then I'm very
intriguing to the next coach is going to be there.

Speaker 3 (08:46):
A lot of people are calling for a women's coach.
I think that's not.

Speaker 2 (08:49):
About The Juventus women's manager is Australian. I can't remember
his name off the top of my head, but he's
obviously a very good manager. Maybe, maybe, hopefully.

Speaker 1 (08:59):
Maybe Let's get into our best back on lay bets
for EPR match Week five, thanks to Betfair, the only
place to back and lay bet in the EPR. Last week,
we didn't go too badly, four from seven, let you
down a.

Speaker 2 (09:11):
Little bit, got you go three or four, So one
of three I think not bad tipp the tough one
I tipped to draw. Yeah, I've gone pretty easy with
my back tip this week.

Speaker 3 (09:24):
I don't mind that. I don't mind that.

Speaker 2 (09:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (09:25):
Yeah, so yeah, we went okay, but we're going to
bring in the expert. The Betfair expert tips from Tony
Hargreaves are he knows what he's doing. I can get
check that out on betfair dot com, dot you slash
you on the Fair hub as well. You can google that.
So check out Tony Hargreaves tips on there and a
bit more of a breakdown than what we're going to
give here as well, so check out the website.

Speaker 3 (09:42):
So we'll start off with Tony's tips.

Speaker 1 (09:44):
He's going to back over two and a half goals
at a dollar ninety for Leicester versus Everton. I really
don't mind that. Evidence have conceded at least three goals
a game this season.

Speaker 2 (09:53):
Yep.

Speaker 3 (09:54):
They've led to nil in the last two.

Speaker 1 (09:55):
Games and lost and lost three too, so it doesn't
even matter if they win to lose game. You just
want the over two and a half, which is a
really good beat. And the Foxes have scored in every
game this season, so less they can get on the
score board. Vardi is still scoring. Maveddi, who I talked
up earlier in the season, he scored last game.

Speaker 3 (10:10):
So yeah, over two goals of dollar ninety for a
back back bet. I don't mind that.

Speaker 2 (10:14):
I think I think less to scored goals in the
Cup game as well.

Speaker 3 (10:16):
Not long ago so they did.

Speaker 2 (10:18):
They've got goals in them, so no, I like that, and.

Speaker 3 (10:20):
Everton have con said, yeah, three goals every game is what.

Speaker 2 (10:24):
Team goals in four games?

Speaker 3 (10:26):
That is, that's that's just crazy.

Speaker 2 (10:28):
When you compare one. Remember, well, how many goals to
Sheffield can see last season? Because didn't they break the
record over.

Speaker 3 (10:36):
Everything?

Speaker 2 (10:36):
That was their goal? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (10:37):
Yeah? Was that the goal difference all the nothings conceded? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (10:41):
Yeah, so maybe less Everton could could see fifty. I
don't know about that one. Another back bet for Tony Hargreaves.
In this one, the expert a draw at four dollars
for Brighton versus Knots Forests. So both teams are surprisingly
ted on points. Everyone's talking about Brighton, but Knots have
also got two wins and two draws, so the exactly
the same points. Brian have only won two of their

(11:02):
last seven home wins. Tony points out, I actually don't
mind this. Everyone's talking up Brion not to have started
really well, so we draw at four bucks.

Speaker 2 (11:09):
Good quietly going about it. Look, they've played Newcastle and
Liverpool and only dropped two points yea to Newcastle.

Speaker 3 (11:16):
They've actually done really well.

Speaker 1 (11:17):
Not so yeah, I wouldn't even be surprised if Knots
can get a win, but they'd have to have a
bit of luck at them.

Speaker 2 (11:22):
I think, so draw is a really good Yeah, Brighton
will be the better side, be the team the beat,
but Forrest have shown that they can grab some points.

Speaker 1 (11:30):
Yeah that mind that all right? So that's the betfairt
tips back bets. You got to lay best to lay
over here, sure do?

Speaker 2 (11:36):
He's going to lay Southampton at two dollars thirty in
their matchup against Ipswich Town don't two newly promoted sides.
If Switch has been a lot better. Southampton have been
horrendous so far. Again they they're on zero points at
the bottom of the table. With Everton brutal, they get
a negative seven goal difference. That's probably, but the Saints

(11:56):
have lost all four games. They've only scored a goal,
fail to score in two of the previous three meetings,
and Ipswich won both of those meetings last season in
the championship.

Speaker 3 (12:05):
So yeah, I think Tony's all over this one.

Speaker 1 (12:07):
I know you go all this is like a battle
of relegation teams, which it probably is. But as we
said at the start of the season, I think Southampton
is going to be that rung below even if they're
close on the table.

Speaker 2 (12:16):
I think so, and you've got the luxury of you've
got the comfort of the double chance draw or if
switch yes for this lab for laying Southampton, So two
doors thirty love that. And he's also laying Manchester City.
Interesting one against Arsenal in the game of the season
so far, two draws and an Arsenal win across the

(12:38):
previous three meetings. Arsenal have a clean sheet in nine
of their last ten away games, and City have conceded
a goal at least a goal in their last six.

Speaker 3 (12:48):
This is a risky one from Tony, but I don't mind.

Speaker 2 (12:52):
I think he's sort of going for the draw here.
But look Manchester City at home that they already had
with Harland on five. I think it just comes down
to Harland versus CLEIBA and Gabrielle. Yep.

Speaker 3 (13:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (13:03):
If Harley can break through then obviously you'd be back
in Manchester City. But he hasn't had a good record
against Arsenal, which I'm going to touch on later as well,
So I don't mind that lay. But so you're going
for the drawer Arsenal and I think yeah.

Speaker 3 (13:14):
In his thing.

Speaker 1 (13:15):
You can check out Tony Hargreve's expert tips on Betfair Hub.
He does say he's leaning towards the draw, yep, but
playing a little bit safer. He's going to just go
Manchester City late lay that. Yeah, so I don't mind that.
Interesting all right, that's the expert tips on Betfair. Let's
have our own. We are our own experts on this show.
We can say whatever we want. We'll go with you.

(13:35):
What are you backing this week?

Speaker 3 (13:36):
Mike?

Speaker 2 (13:37):
Look, I'm all for a sure price one. I'm going
to g's right back both teams to score at a
dollar fifty three in the London Derby between West Ham
and ol Chelsea. Three of the last four meetings have
seen both teams score. Three of the last three of
west teams four this season have seen both teams score
and Chelsea just have a terrible record at London Stadium

(13:58):
always seemed to concede goals. Leaky defense and the Chelsea's
fire power and attack. They're always capable of scoring goals,
as we saw against Bournemouth. Bring on two substitutes in
Sancho and Cunku and yep, they provide the goals.

Speaker 1 (14:11):
So no matter why Chelsea are at the last few seasons,
west Ham seemed to beat us all beat yeah, beat
the Blues.

Speaker 3 (14:16):
I don't. I don't know what what happens there.

Speaker 1 (14:18):
We don't like.

Speaker 2 (14:20):
Stadium with a passion. I hate the London Stadium.

Speaker 3 (14:23):
I have actually been to that stadium. It was awesome. No,
I hate it and watch it on like to watch
on TV.

Speaker 1 (14:28):
I agree, it doesn't look that gooding at the stadium
is sick uh and the atmosphere is really good. I
was like, I remember I don't even go for west
Ham and I was like enthralled and like getting into it,
like that was pretty cool.

Speaker 3 (14:39):
But yeah, Chelsea have just been horrible there, so it's
not a good Yeah, good ground.

Speaker 1 (14:43):
So I don't my both teams has called Chelsea's defense
is obviously the warry compared to their offense.

Speaker 2 (14:46):
Yeah. If you want a bit more money, consider laying Chelsea. Okay, yeah,
so I saw the west Ham will draw. Yep, you're
backing just considering the terrible record of London Stadium.

Speaker 1 (14:56):
Yep, don't mind that all right, I'm going to back
for my bet on Betfair this weekend under two and
a half goals between man for Manchester City against Arsenal.
I know this is a big call. You've got some
of the best attacking players in the world. You've got Soaker,
you've got Harland de Bruyn is providing the assists. You've
got Declan Rice Wood should come come back this seek
so goals good Away and scott Os, but I'm going

(15:17):
to stop stop you there. I think a dollar ninety
four for under two and a half goals is really
good value with Betfair.

Speaker 3 (15:22):
The last three meetings have all gone under.

Speaker 1 (15:24):
You had a one nial win to Arsenal and then
a nil all was the last two correct and if
you combine the last three games, there's only been three
goals in total. I think people sort of hype up
these big games and go, oh, there's going to be
a lot of goals because you've got star players, but
they're only really up there.

Speaker 3 (15:39):
On the table because they start with their defense.

Speaker 1 (15:42):
Even last week in North London Derby, you go, oh,
Ange Bowl, there's just going to be lots of goals.
One meal so that was obviously under the two and
a half goals. Both teams have amazing defenses. City have
only concetted three goals across their four games. Arsenal have
conceded one goal across their four games. And then, as
I mentioned before, Earl Harland has failed to score in
his last two meetings with Arsenal.

Speaker 2 (16:00):
That could that's not even bad reading though, that bad,
but that's just the standards that we hold him to.

Speaker 1 (16:07):
Yeah, the fact he's got nine goals in four games,
I think he's gonna possibly maybe just one, and which
is funny, he might just goore one and that's still
under the two and a half goals. He had zero
shots in a game that was the worry in twenty
twenty three, the first time they played in twenty twenty three,
not even have it, didn't even.

Speaker 3 (16:21):
Have a shot.

Speaker 1 (16:21):
So yeah, Saliba and Gabrielle just have their money over
the last year.

Speaker 3 (16:26):
And a half.

Speaker 2 (16:26):
Physically they match up well.

Speaker 1 (16:28):
Yeah, So even if he gets one, because like at
the moment, he's scored on two a game or more,
even if he gets one and it's like a one
or something like that, still under two and a half.
I think the most goals is going to be is
two in this game. So I'm going the underto and
a half at a dollar ninety.

Speaker 2 (16:40):
Four yeah, I like that. I like that. I think
because Manchester City and Arsenal the clear front runners for
the title, they go play both teams sort of. Yeah,
they don't want to concede and draw points to each other.
So I like the underto and a half.

Speaker 1 (16:51):
Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if either team wins one
Neil or at best.

Speaker 3 (16:54):
It's like a one to old drawer.

Speaker 2 (16:55):
And as we saw last season, Arsenal were holding onto
the drawer at the h Yeah, they were at the
had last season. So Neil old draw, Neil ol draw,
so they could be looking to do that.

Speaker 1 (17:07):
It's not a nil draw because I can't stand them,
especially in big games like this, but it could be
with two strong differences.

Speaker 3 (17:12):
All right.

Speaker 1 (17:12):
That is our Betfair expert tips from Tony hor Goes
and ourself, the only place to back and lay bet
on the EPL. Let's have a quick break and after
the break we'll have trivia with Olivia. Alright, it's time
for trivia with Olivia. I dominated this last week, so
I'm one first time I've ever got anything trivia related,
to be fair, I was happy with that. Harry Kane,

(17:33):
I can't remember was it sixty six sixty sixty eight, Yeah,
something like that.

Speaker 2 (17:36):
All right, I don't even remember what is it that was.

Speaker 1 (17:38):
That was just a good week last week, all right, Olivia,
what is the question for this week?

Speaker 2 (17:41):
All right? Who has won the most North London derbys
and how many wins do they have?

Speaker 3 (17:46):
For this is over Premier League? Anything? Is this for
over forever? Oh my god?

Speaker 2 (17:50):
Okay, we do. We have to get as closest to them, the.

Speaker 3 (17:53):
Number thereat correct team and whoever has the closest. Surely
it's Arsenal.

Speaker 2 (18:00):
Do you know how many meetings they have been like overall?

Speaker 3 (18:02):
No, I don't have that.

Speaker 1 (18:03):
Okay, I'm going Arsenal, but we can both Arsenal and
then were off on the other part.

Speaker 2 (18:09):
Of the question. I'll go Arsenal as well.

Speaker 3 (18:11):
I feel like they've just had the invincibles.

Speaker 1 (18:13):
You've had so many good times, especially in the Premier
League compared Totenham.

Speaker 2 (18:16):
The Tottenham have been around forever, but they've always just
been never one round. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (18:21):
Yeah, So I'm going to go Arsenal. How many how
many wins?

Speaker 2 (18:24):
I'm going to go they. I'm going to go like
one hundred and forty seven Arsenal.

Speaker 3 (18:32):
Do I go higher a lot. Um, I'll go on
hundred and that's a lot. How many years they played twice?
They played twice a year.

Speaker 1 (18:42):
Yeah, at least going one hundred and seventy five wins
for Arsenal, and Olivia is looking at us like I
think it's below The answer is Arsenal with eighty two
and spurs of sixty one.

Speaker 2 (18:57):
Yeah, okay, okay, so there's actually been caught a few drawls.

Speaker 3 (19:00):
You wind, it doesn't feel like a win, but I'm
on the board. You're on the board. One point in
the season made us look a little bit dumb. I
swear there's been how long have they been around for?

Speaker 2 (19:11):
And they've only a long long time.

Speaker 1 (19:13):
But then I didn't think about a draw. Yeah, that
was pretty dumbe by me. They can't always be a win.
So there you go, thanks, Oliving. That was good fun.
All right, let's just forget about that true because we
stunk that up. But quick fire match Week four predictions.
I'm going to read out the game and then we'll
both give a tip. All right, First one, as Chelsea fans,
I'm a little bit worried about this one. West Ham
versus Chelsea at London stadium where you're.

Speaker 2 (19:35):
You said before you might I want to look, I
want to go Chelsea. Just kill biased, but I think,
like my head's saying a draw, I think definitely good
enough to get something out of the game. It's just
the record at London Stadium is around us. Yep.

Speaker 1 (19:48):
I'll just be biased and say Chelsea. I think they
can get a win. I think the if they both
teams play their best football. I'm still back in Chelsea,
so I'm going to go Chelsea that one.

Speaker 2 (19:55):
Fulham were all over West Ham as well last week,
so yeah, could have got the win there for sure.
Aston Villa versus Wolves pretty big game, but surely Villa
actually won three mizerl as well in the Champions they
returned to the Champions LEAUE, so that's a good effort.
What do you act a good form from them? Yeah, Villa.
I think I think they should win this sort of comfortably,
even though they put out a pretty strong side in
the Champions League.

Speaker 1 (20:16):
Yeah yeah, I think they'll absolutely romp this in next one.
Fullham versus Newcastle a bit of a tough one. Newcastle
have looked very shaky.

Speaker 3 (20:23):
Even though they won two to one over Wolves on
the weekend.

Speaker 2 (20:25):
Yep, I am Marcosil was an excellent coach. I'm tempted
to go Fulham, but I'll go draw.

Speaker 3 (20:32):
Go what a surprise.

Speaker 1 (20:33):
I won't can how many draws you do here? I'll
go to Newcastle. I think this is one of those.
They match up really well. They're going to fire up
at some point. Their team is good. Ishak needs to
fire up. I know he had two goals in game
week two, but other than that he hasn't even scored.

Speaker 3 (20:46):
I think I'll go to Newcastle. I think he'll fire up.

Speaker 1 (20:48):
Next one, the Battle of relegations Ipswich. We both agreed
with Tony's expert tip there against Southampton.

Speaker 2 (20:57):
Do you know I like that as well. I'll go Whipswich.
I'll go Whipswitch because just because I don't want to
get bullied into the draw. Now you can say I'll
go Whipswich.

Speaker 3 (21:08):
Yeah, I'll go.

Speaker 1 (21:08):
I'll go Ipswich as well. I just think they're slightly better.
They're getting more chances on goal, they're scoring more goals.
So he scored against Manchester City, so surely they get
the job done there. Next one Tottenham verse Brentford.

Speaker 3 (21:19):
This is weird Brentford haven't been too bad.

Speaker 2 (21:21):
They haven't. But Tottenham at home, Tottenham at home. I
think I'm gonna go big Ange to bounce back Tottenham home.

Speaker 3 (21:27):
Yeah, I reckon a big win for Tottenham.

Speaker 1 (21:28):
I think they're just going to break through those yet,
get some goals and have a big win.

Speaker 3 (21:32):
So to them for their.

Speaker 2 (21:33):
Big andil we get into them behind the scenes.

Speaker 1 (21:35):
Yeah, he will be yelling. He used to yell a
lot at Celtic Cancer. You could hear him when you're
sitting in the crowd. Let's the city versus Everton is
the next one. This is haven't been that bad. They've
had two games and they're up to n Ill and
then they're the biggest choke artists.

Speaker 2 (21:51):
Yeah yeah, that's that is true. But is that the
king power? So only fitting for a drawer everything get
their first point on the board.

Speaker 1 (22:01):
Oh I'm gonna yeah. I'm going to say this is
another three too lost for Everton. I'm going to three
in a row where they would be That would be
very funny Toffies fans out there.

Speaker 3 (22:10):
I'm going to go lesser to win.

Speaker 1 (22:11):
I think the fact that Jamie Vardy is so old
and he's still scoring he's gonna have three Red bulls
and yes, score a couple of goals.

Speaker 2 (22:16):
I reckon, he doesn't even need them.

Speaker 3 (22:17):
He's died, insane. Yeah, there you go. Next one, Liverpool
versus Bournemouth.

Speaker 1 (22:24):
They bounce back from that lost to Notts to winning
the Champions League against Acy Milan this morning.

Speaker 3 (22:29):
Liverpool, but they looked really shaky.

Speaker 2 (22:32):
They can see the first goal in the first few
minutes against a Simola.

Speaker 3 (22:35):
Yeah, so a little bit shaky.

Speaker 1 (22:37):
Bournemouth also probably should have drawn against Chelsea. But surely
at anfield you'd be leaning towards Liverpool.

Speaker 3 (22:45):
Yeah, for sure. Yeah, I'm going Liverpool as well.

Speaker 1 (22:47):
Last couple Chrystal pass first Man United, Oh my god, men,
although they won three all against Southampton, saved the penalty,
didn't look that convincing.

Speaker 2 (22:57):
And then to go to ten men, didn't they? Yeah, well,
lucky draw.

Speaker 1 (23:04):
I'm going Palace, I reckon at Southurst Park they'll be
rocking there, so yeah, get a victory over Man you.

Speaker 2 (23:09):
Brighten versus Notts Forrest's second last one. This is actually
a really tough one, really tough. But I'm going to
lean towards Brighton.

Speaker 3 (23:16):
Okay, I think, yeah, yeah, I'm still I'm going to
go draw.

Speaker 1 (23:20):
I've been really surprised how not to go in and
they're trying to push up towards that because they're usually
their best sort of finish could be just outside the
top half, but they're pushing right.

Speaker 3 (23:28):
Up there this season. So I'm going to say draw.

Speaker 2 (23:30):
I think they're pretty evenly matched, very pleasantly surprising nodding
for us.

Speaker 3 (23:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (23:34):
And then the biggest game of the season so far,
Manchester City Verus Arsenal. This one's not quick far. I'm
going to ask for a goal scorer if there is any.

Speaker 2 (23:42):
And who's a goal scorer if there is any, and
who's gonna win? I think a one to one draw. Okay,
I think that's I reckon Gabrielle again on the school
sheet from oh God. Okay, And and before do I
go a Harlem goal, I will go with this is

(24:06):
so tough. I'll go Jack Realish, Grealish. He doesn't get
on he scored against Arsenal, Yeah.

Speaker 3 (24:13):
A couple of seasons.

Speaker 1 (24:14):
I think two seas ago did Yeah, Okay, I'm going
to go to the drawer as well. I really like
one all as well. I'm going to go Saker to
get on the score ship and then good to one.
I don't even know if he's going to cuff the
bench or whatever he does, but he's so good from
long range and I wouldn't be surprised if Arsenal sit
back he gets a long shot.

Speaker 2 (24:29):
Nah.

Speaker 1 (24:29):
Yeah, I think it would be a really fun game.
Even if it's like anil, there's going to be so
much happening.

Speaker 3 (24:33):
So yeah, definitely one.

Speaker 2 (24:34):
To what's full phoning up to this season.

Speaker 1 (24:37):
As in playing the season last year like this season.
You know his son that just gets more media coverage
than him.

Speaker 2 (24:45):
Yeah, apparently his son is a YouTuber so five years old.

Speaker 3 (24:49):
Yeah, he's a legend. He's going to be playing for
Manchester City back. Yeah, but he hasn't done much.

Speaker 2 (24:54):
He doesn't played one game.

Speaker 3 (24:55):
Has he been injured?

Speaker 2 (24:56):
I think so?

Speaker 3 (24:56):
Yeah? Okay, but still is he washed one?

Speaker 2 (24:59):
He washed another game?

Speaker 3 (25:00):
That's another podcast. All right, I'm calling it.
