I've got Chelsea fair with me. Marcus bars I gone, yeah,
it was all.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
Right, promising someone's from the weekend. But we're on the
Bosh cast already. I'm keen.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
I don't mind that Olivia social girl, Olivia we would
love and that she says bosh all the time. We're
here thinking we're here for all things English Premier League.
Heading into EPR match week nine as we say, I
was going to say goodbye to another international bak, but
that's already happened.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
Thank god, thank you.

Speaker 3 (00:38):
I think it's another three more weeks.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
One of the Soccarrews play on the fourteenth against Adie.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
Right about game, I know to try and get a ticket.
See if anyone's got some. Maybe hit us in the comments.
All those people that are in the comments.

Speaker 3 (00:52):
Let us know.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
Today we're going to cover the top football and EPR
news as we always do. The best betfair back or
lay bets for the EPR matches, including x B tips
from our man Tony Hargreaves is mirc's I sit home.
Then we're going to finish off with some quick fire
tips for every game this weekend, and actually we're also
going to cover Arsenal first Liverpool, huge game to break
that down a little bit more because we want to

(01:13):
cover the biggest game of the weekend. We're going to
do that every week now.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
Big injuries from that game too, big.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
Injuries, just a lot happening, So we're going to dove
a bit deeper into that one and then.

Speaker 3 (01:20):
Look at our best fare back of a bets.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
Before we get into that, make sure you subscribe to
our YouTube channel on the Football Today podcast and follow
our socials at Football Today are you on TikTok and
Instagram and Football Today Australia on Sorry, Football Today Australia
on Facebook and Instagram. Let's start with around the grounds
on the weekend. A lot happened. Yeah, so ref has
just had his arm up like this.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
The whole weekend. Five red cards.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
Saturday was a world game. One of my mates was
bursting someone on Fantasy and I had three red cards. Yeah,
I think it was Saliba and a couple others.

Speaker 1 (01:52):
Was five red card I was trying to look at
the record in a day there was four. So on
the Saturday there was four red cards, which is a
record just in a day. But I think there's been
more than five red cards over a whole weekend, which
is a lot happened that included Arsenal getting a red card,
who lost to nil to Bournemouth.

Speaker 3 (02:07):
Alex, big fan of the show, has been on the
show before. I was like, do you want to come
on today? He's like, Nah, can't. I can't do it.
I can't do that.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
Arsenal fans will be tearing their hair out. You can't
be losing to Bournemouth when you're supposed to be tenders.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
Yeah. So look they were down to ten men, but
Bournemouth were even playing well. They went down to ball
and yeah, so credit to Bournemouth. They've had that like
in for a while now, I think, like causing that
sort of result and they've done it against Arsenal who
missing some key players.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
Yes, yeah, so obviously red cards is Saliva so who
were missing games.

Speaker 3 (02:41):
They had no.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
Socker which was a big guy out and then to guard.
So definitely losing some players. But in terms of like
you want to battle for the cities, your Liverpool, I
was gonna say, Aston Villain, that's the next tier down.
You've got to use your death players and their death
they're they're struggling without Socker.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
At the moment, you'd argue aston Villa have a better
bench than Arsenal because you've got.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
Duran scoring off the bench, but who also comes with
You've got plenty of wingers in them.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
Who plays well, that's a big call.

Speaker 3 (03:10):
I don't mind, man't have to click that up.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
So yeah, you're saying, yeah, aston Villa's bench is better
than us, Okay, could be? Yeah, can they can they
jump him on the table or am I going too
farther Villa?

Speaker 3 (03:21):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (03:21):
Probably, I'm probably gone to fin Just a hate of
Arsenal is coming up, I think, so yeah, I'll leave
that for now. Man City controversial come from behind win
against Wolves, ninety fifth minute winner for John Stones, who
apparently was who was standing in the way Cole Silver.
That's right, we're standing directly in the way of the
Wolves keeper. I think it's a goal, do you think?

Speaker 2 (03:43):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (03:43):
I think in a lot of other matches. By the
time it was there, I know.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
But by the time the ball makes contact with johnstones Head,
he's out, not in the way he's duck though, like
he's still I don't know. I reckon if the ball
went to the side that BERNARDA silvers on so like
facing the goal, the left hand side of the goal, yep,
then probably ruled out. But the fact that it went
straight at him he sort of didn't interfere with his jump, yeah,

(04:09):
or the line of side of the ball, I think
I thought.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
I thought it was a bit unlucky cause I've seen
them not paid before and I don't like.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
I don't like how player can stand in front of
the keeper. I don't.

Speaker 1 (04:18):
I don't think you'll just agree with that too, because yeah,
they keep the keeper's job. The keeper is not allowed
to just like grab all like just like stand in
front of everyone.

Speaker 3 (04:26):
I don't know. It's a bit of a weird one
for me, and I think that's not fair.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
But the game is the game.

Speaker 3 (04:29):
Game is the game. If I'm watching the game is
the game.

Speaker 1 (04:31):
The fact that Wolves got that close it was one
all until the ninety fifth minute, yeah, the city one.
So Wolves actually played pretty well, how how done strong defensively?

Speaker 2 (04:39):
For once they did they definitely sat back.

Speaker 3 (04:41):
They sat back. Yeah, after after.

Speaker 2 (04:43):
One one one they were still pretty different.

Speaker 3 (04:45):
I would do the same as then.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
Yeah, but they're still streaming it on one point, I know,
get yeah, I think they are still Yeah, they are
bottom league.

Speaker 1 (04:54):
They've had a horror start, really really tough start of
the season. Next one I just put down here to
go on the board with a win. Jamie Vardy crazy
celebration again. He's gone to the Southampton fans because it
was it was at Southampton their homeground, Sat Mary's that's right,
And he's gone to the sort of active area. Then

(05:14):
he's gone to the disabled area, like Fardy come on.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
Just holding the ball and just like.

Speaker 3 (05:19):
There was people laughing at him. So he's just pointing
at them.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
He's taking out corner flags. He's how while he's played Wolves,
he's now he's just having the crystal palace he did.
He doesn't discriminated who he has a go at, I guess,
but he needs to calm down.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
Look, it's funny, but Jesus Christ, Southampton do they get
are going to get less points than Derby, which is
the record.

Speaker 3 (05:40):
Yeah, what was it again? I think thirteen?

Speaker 2 (05:43):
Yeah, it or something like that.

Speaker 3 (05:44):
I reckon they might there.

Speaker 1 (05:45):
He look so bad because Lester are only like that
next two above and they considered three goals.

Speaker 2 (05:50):
Haven't really played anyone like amazing yet no either. Yeah,
imagine when they played Arsenal.

Speaker 1 (05:55):
Imagine City or Liverpool come or even Arsenal Chelsea coming
up against South There's gonna.

Speaker 3 (06:00):
Be a lot of goals.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
Eleven points, it was eleven? What are they on right now?
One still?

Speaker 3 (06:05):
Yeah, same as Wolves?

Speaker 2 (06:06):
One point?

Speaker 1 (06:07):
Geez, that is really bad talking about that a team
that doesn't have to win palace. They keep struggling. They
just lost the Knots. Horrible goalkeeping cost him a win.
Chris Wood score for Knots. That was a shocking error.

Speaker 3 (06:20):
Really bad error. But now they're in the relegation zone.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
When people had high hopes for past the last two seasons,
they've ended the season strongly.

Speaker 3 (06:26):
I've got a.

Speaker 1 (06:27):
Good like list of team. Their team has bullers, like
the guys that can hit the back of the net. Yeah,
horrible as a team. Ata cool kid, Yeah, I think
it just shows that's going played a big part in
the their team. He's going able to buy especially on
the left. It's just not as potent anymore.

Speaker 3 (06:45):
He got a little friend in likes the chat. Get
her on.

Speaker 2 (06:50):
Yeah, look, she would say, she would say they're equally
as ship.

Speaker 1 (06:54):
First alright, yeah, fair enough that Pallas are pretty bad,
you said to yourself. Next one, I wanted to touch
on Spurs for one win against west Ham.

Speaker 3 (07:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (07:05):
Then I looked at this. I was like, I have
to look at it a couple times. They've got the most
goals in the league right now, but the seven games
you might not get a win, but you're gonna have
a fun game. That's pretty much Andrew's like tactic is,
We're just going to try and score goals.

Speaker 3 (07:18):
They are.

Speaker 2 (07:19):
Yeah, City City have got more at the moment.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
I've got about one by one, so second most goals
and they're actually not doing too bad.

Speaker 3 (07:26):
Their actual stats aren't too bad. They just need to
gets some more consistent wins.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
I've only conceded nine as well. But yeah, he just
thought he was in the mm A. You was like, yeah,
he got a record.

Speaker 3 (07:36):
He's crazy.

Speaker 1 (07:37):
He scored in every away loss they've had this season,
so he scores and the only way he scores in
a weight losses for some reason. So yeah, I feel
bad for him. He got they got on to scores
it first as well. He's an angry little man though
he is really good Jews on fIF Actually well yeah
see whatever it is that crap crap name. Yes, so
Andre'll be happy. He was fired up again in the media.

(07:59):
Did you see that he was He was saying about
was this like are you being spursy?

Speaker 3 (08:04):
You do this and you do that. He's like everyone's
Spursy at times. Spurs.

Speaker 1 (08:08):
I do like his confidence, but they need to get
a bit more consistency going and.

Speaker 2 (08:11):
Tottenham good win though, because they've got an easier one
of pictures coming up, so they need to start making
sure they get three points three points, three points absolutely.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
Last one I'm going to touch on soccer. Cambergers Aussie
soccer makes his debut for Ipswich. Obviously they didn't get
the win, but awesome effort for him.

Speaker 2 (08:26):
Played out of his natural position.

Speaker 3 (08:28):
You play it right back, Oh yeah, yes, that's right.

Speaker 2 (08:31):
Played pretty well, like definitely, well he was serviceable, like
he wasn't poor squad known goal like he did for
for the soccerroo.

Speaker 3 (08:40):
Yeah, but that was a bit.

Speaker 1 (08:42):
I'mucky's good so we'll love to see in the crown.
Oh absolutely, we absolutely love that. Hopefully.

Speaker 3 (08:46):
I still have a soft spot for Ipswich, so I'm
really hoping they.

Speaker 2 (08:50):
Yeah, me too a little bit.

Speaker 3 (08:51):
But you can't really have a cool kid. They've got
a cool fan base.

Speaker 1 (08:54):
They new, like really new, like Southamp didn't have been
up and down, has been up and down, whereas which
is sort of that freshen your face. So I'm hoping
they go all right, they just got a lot to
improve on there. I touched on this before. Let's get
to the next segment, Best game of the match. We're
going to do this every week from now on, where
we talk about the biggest game, because I feel like
we sometimes skip over some of these massive games. This

(09:14):
could decide who is pushing for the title. It could
according to Tony and the Expect tips later as well.
So Arsenal versus Liverpool. Arsenal undefeated in the last four meetings.
That's two wins, two draws. The Gun has won three
to one. The last meeting to the Emirates, so it's
at the Emirates Arsenal's home ground, and then Liverpool won
the two before that, so I don't know This is
a I was gonna say, it's a tough matchup.

Speaker 3 (09:36):
Arsenal have might have a lot of outs.

Speaker 2 (09:38):
Still yeah, still soccer might apparently couldn't to Fabrizio Romano.
Oh Arteta has said that soccer probably not going to
be available. Ode guards will be available obviously, Saliva with
the Red car Missus with suspension. Califiori got injured this
morning in the Champions League, so yeah, they could be

(09:58):
without a few first team players and for that reason,
I think Liverpool win this. To me, they just haven't
looked as potent as they were last season.

Speaker 1 (10:09):
No I with injuries, but again they're not I feel
like they're relying too much on that right side with
Soaker for starters at times or on the wings, and
then when they take that hip that's what a player out.
They just don't know how to and then they don't
shoot enough, I think. And then their defense still is
pretty strong, but not as good as last season so
far because they're still conceding at home, which I'll touch
on later. So I'm a little bit worried about that.

(10:30):
In terms of predictions, who do you reckon is gonna
be on the sheet? Score sheet?

Speaker 2 (10:33):
The score sheet Yeah, Lewis Diaz loves the goal against Arsenal,
so you could go with that. Might actually have a
look at on Betford. Oh yeah, how much he is. No,
you can't bet on any time. No, you're not the
goal scorers. Well we will get on some bets on
this match, but this could be I feel like this
could be an unders match. Check that out. Yeah, but yeah,

(10:54):
for a goal scorer, I'll go with Lewis Diaz.

Speaker 1 (10:56):
I was literally going to say Lewis Diaz maybe a
bit of sobers Live possibly, but he sort of sets
it up and I can.

Speaker 2 (11:03):
Just go.

Speaker 3 (11:05):
Most A and d As is pretty safe.

Speaker 1 (11:06):
And then if Arsenal get the scooroh, because I wouldn't
be surprised if this is like a two to one
to Liverpool similar to the Chelsea result on the weekend.

Speaker 3 (11:13):
Who's going to get on the score ship for Liver?

Speaker 1 (11:15):
Sorry, Arsenals really the.

Speaker 3 (11:20):
Great start the season have I hate saying that. Habits
has been an unbelievable form, unbelievable the stress solid form.

Speaker 1 (11:27):
So and I still got a suspot for him, even
though he's an Arsenal. I used to like him.

Speaker 2 (11:30):
I'll tell you the state I thought yeah, I'll tell
you that. I told you earlier. Nicholas Jackson's goed the
same as Jackson, Yes, as Ky Haverts did for Chelsea
in forty eight fewer games, and he has more sists
as well.

Speaker 3 (11:41):
That is crazy.

Speaker 1 (11:42):
So weekly and everyone bags Jackson and everyone's talking about
Habits A good point, just saying it's a very good
Cole Palmer and Nicholas Jackson.

Speaker 3 (11:50):
Who would you rather money for Habits? Wh would you
rather right now? Jackson? Or have its Jacko really.

Speaker 2 (11:55):
Jacko Abban or I'm doing it takes people. I don't
know if one either of them. I like not saying
he's a good he's a good player, but fair enough,
fair enough. We've definitely got the better end of that,
all right.

Speaker 3 (12:08):
In terms of score predictions, I'm going Liverpool to one.
I'll just got one nil one. Neil Lewis has nice,
don't mind that we're going.

Speaker 1 (12:15):
We're going Liverpool if I think if I know their
players and I'll be back in the draw. Or Arsenal
win because it's at the Emirates. But like Liverpool have
a chance to win the league. They've only conceded three goals.

Speaker 3 (12:24):
I know they've had an easy run. But they have.
But yeah, Premier League's highest level.

Speaker 2 (12:28):
So like Arsenal conceded two to Leicester City of conceding
goals almost every week, yep, so to concede three goals
under a new manager, don't mind it?

Speaker 3 (12:37):
Fair effort, Very nice. All right.

Speaker 1 (12:39):
Let's get into the back of lay bets thanks to Betfair,
the only place to back on laybet on the APR
this season. We're looking at expert tips to start with.
It's what do you call him? Dog? Tony Hargreaves is
an absolute expert. Check out the Betford Expert Hub on
bet dot com dot u slash betfair Hub, So check
that out on the website. There we'll start off for
he's got three back tips and a bet to lay

(13:00):
as well, So let's have a look.

Speaker 3 (13:01):
I'll do the first two and then you do the
next two.

Speaker 2 (13:03):
Sounds good.

Speaker 1 (13:04):
He's going to back over two and a half goals
at a dollar seventy for aston Villa verse Bournemouth. I
think this is one of the absolutely locks. A dollar
seventy's still pretty good value there. Look at the stats
he provides as well.

Speaker 3 (13:13):
Yeah, he's got a few good stats here.

Speaker 1 (13:14):
Six of the last seven meetings have had over two
and a half goals, so that's a lock there. Bournemouth
have lost by two or more goals and six of
their last nine away matches against the top six, so.

Speaker 3 (13:24):
Once they've actually been pretty good this season.

Speaker 1 (13:25):
But once they play against all of those top six teams,
they just can conceede a few goals.

Speaker 3 (13:29):
Yeah, yeah, so, and then you don't have to worry
about the results.

Speaker 1 (13:31):
I'll get into a bet about the result later, which
I think I'm pretty confident on.

Speaker 3 (13:35):
But in this sort of one over two and a
half goals, you don't have to worry about the result.

Speaker 2 (13:38):
Yeah, I think it will be over to and a half.
I just don't think it'll be a Villa whitewash. I
think it'll be more like twos have been pretty solid,
you other have, Yeah, so that's not bad.

Speaker 1 (13:47):
Next time we're going to touch on from Tony is
backing Tottenham at a dollar ninety just heads ahead for
Crystal Palace verse Tottenham.

Speaker 3 (13:54):
This could be the better of the weekend.

Speaker 1 (13:56):
A dollar ninety for Krista Pallas who don't have a
win on the board.

Speaker 3 (14:00):
Dug they have five goals in eight games.

Speaker 1 (14:03):
That is so bad and Spurs have won the last
five meetings, so I'm really really keen on this one.

Speaker 3 (14:08):
That's Tony's provider.

Speaker 1 (14:09):
He was really happy on this one, one that he
didn't want to touch, so he's really kid on this one.
Then he also said don't bet on anything in Manchester
City versus Southampton, which I didn't mind. In the in
the article it touches on just staying away from that game.
There's no value there, no value, whereas this.

Speaker 3 (14:23):
One provides a bit more value dollar niney, So don't
mind no one.

Speaker 1 (14:25):
Yeah, for sure, I like and Tottenham scoring goals for
fun so the second yeah, best offense in the cop
so AND's absolutely loving it.

Speaker 3 (14:31):
There.

Speaker 2 (14:32):
Our final back tip, yes he's gone. Another headhead result
is backing a draw at Bridles forty in Everton versus Fulham.

Speaker 3 (14:40):
This is the riskiest one, but it's the riskiest one.

Speaker 2 (14:42):
But I actually actually my tip that I was thinking
of when I was looking at the matches and the odds,
I was thinking of laying Fulham. Okay, so that means
Everton winning a drawer. I'm not sure what.

Speaker 3 (14:51):
They get here, but had a bit more value yet,
but you get.

Speaker 2 (14:54):
The drawer here and Everton have looked improved a lot,
and they've looked definitely looked a little bit more settled.
They won two of their last three yep, yep. Six
of the last eight Everton first half and seven of
the last eleven Fulham first half have been a draw.

Speaker 1 (15:09):
Yeah, that one is a little bit confusing. I wrote
that one in there mentioned.

Speaker 2 (15:12):
So majority of the time it's a draw when at
half time.

Speaker 3 (15:16):
I wouldn't be surprised if this is like a drawer
half time.

Speaker 1 (15:19):
Fulham probably can play a little bit attacking, but they
going they might go into their show a little bit.

Speaker 3 (15:22):
Both these teams, I just want to hold on for
a draw.

Speaker 1 (15:24):
Goodison Park in the past has been a hard place
to play, so or it might go.

Speaker 3 (15:27):
Oh, we probably will take a joy even if it's
like a one or something like that.

Speaker 1 (15:30):
And Everton have they've actually been okay even though they've conceded.

Speaker 3 (15:33):
Goals, like, they've been scoring goals. Nice settled them down
a little bit.

Speaker 2 (15:37):
Yeah, they've been scoring goals at home. Look the Villa game, Yeah,
I'm not the Villa game, sorry, the Bournemouth goal with
ye and then the game where Dwight McNeil's scored the
scored a braceep so no, I don't mind that.

Speaker 3 (15:48):
Don't mind that, very nice. What's the last one we
got here?

Speaker 2 (15:50):
Last one is the big game Arsenal Liverpool, so get
check book out. He's laying Arsenal at two dollars forty.
That's Liverpool despite the homegoun advantage. That is a big
but I don't be cool. We don't want the injury.
We've already touched on it like majority. Yeah, a lot
of injuries if they lose at home.

Speaker 3 (16:07):
Total.

Speaker 1 (16:08):
Yeah, so I had Tony wrote this in the article
that Compebla can check out as well. I didn't write
this down. But if Liverpool win, they got to twenty
four points and Arsenal's stay on seventeen.

Speaker 2 (16:18):
Yeah, so that's that's a big gap.

Speaker 1 (16:20):
So I think Arsenal with the injuries would take a draw,
which you get in the lay, which is really handy
because you get a drawer.

Speaker 3 (16:26):
Out of Liverpool win.

Speaker 2 (16:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (16:27):
I don't yeah, I don't wind that.

Speaker 2 (16:28):
Yeah, I love that.

Speaker 3 (16:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (16:29):
Liverpool has been fantastic so far this season, four away wins,
three of those being clean sheets, an Arsenal conceding at
home at least a goal in their past three matches
at the Emirates.

Speaker 1 (16:40):
Okay, because like if you if you said to lay
Arsenal just the whole season, I'd be like, unless it's
against City, I'd be like, oh, but injuries Liverpool yet, honest,
Slot has just been awesome.

Speaker 2 (16:50):
He has been good and it's providing good reactions on
the touch on one yes decisions animated in that Liverpool
Chelsea game is very animated.

Speaker 1 (16:59):
All right, that's Tony Hargreaves Betfair Expert tips, So check
that out on the site. We're going to go through
our own expert Yeah, we're pretty good at this.

Speaker 3 (17:08):
What are you back in this week, Marcus.

Speaker 2 (17:11):
We're going back to the team Winna back Chelsea. Chelsea
to win against Newcastle Stanford Bridge the dollar eighty five
just the top of my head. Chelsea have been super
the season, third highest scoring team. Newcastle actually struggling to
find the back of the net the last couple of weeks.
I've had plenty of chances.

Speaker 1 (17:28):
They're only going to a goal of game, which is
very unlike them last couple of season. They've had ishak
Kid in the back of the net. Yeah, Gordon Wilson.

Speaker 2 (17:36):
Yeah, a lot of like high scoring games I believe.
But Chelsea are pretty good a stand for bridging this Newcastle.
Last season we played against them twice at Stanford Bridge,
both Chelsea wins. One was a three to two winning
the league and the other one was a winning penalties
in the cup. But yeah, I think Chelsea just look
a completely different side from last season, and you could

(17:57):
probably fair to say Newcastle as well, just.

Speaker 1 (17:59):
Not they've dropped off the last two seasons ago, flying
Champions League and everything like that, and then they dropped off.

Speaker 3 (18:05):
Migi Almoron has dropped off. Where has he got?

Speaker 1 (18:07):
He was my man that I used to back every
single week for a goal and Miggi has just forgotten
how to play football.

Speaker 2 (18:13):
You can't really back anyone and you for a goal.

Speaker 3 (18:15):
No.

Speaker 1 (18:15):
Two seasons ago, what do you have? Eleven goals? Then
he went back to three and now he's got zero
so far. Come on, mickey, he's been very poor. But
I'm very happy that if a Chelsea can get up.

Speaker 2 (18:23):
Yeah, ho, Saint James's Park could be a little bit different,
but Chelsea are home for me.

Speaker 1 (18:27):
Nice I'm going to back aston Villa. I already touched
on it at a dollar ninety six. I think that's
really good value for Aston Villa.

Speaker 3 (18:33):
First, Bournemouth.

Speaker 1 (18:34):
You did mention Bournemouth have been solid, but Villa won
the past two home meetings and scored three goals in
each of them against Bournemouth. They're just playing with confidence.
I'm backing Villa to take that confidence from the Champions
League into this game. That they're fourth in the league,
they're the top of the Champions League. You're talking about
the likes of Real. Actually, yea, there's so many Barcelona,

(18:55):
like all of these big teams, and they're ahead of
They haven't conceidered a goal, they just canfidence is so high.
You got Duran scoring off the bench like some of
these teams that are some of the teams that don't
have as much money, don't have the depth.

Speaker 3 (19:06):
But Aston Villa have as you said, yeah, said they
have more depth than us.

Speaker 2 (19:10):
Yeah, these are the types of game and we're heading
towards like November December, when it's going to get jam packed.
We're going to see how big of an influence the Championship. Yeah,
on these sorts of fixtures, because obviously they went full
strength against Bologna to win.

Speaker 1 (19:25):
Yet, so I know you're saying, like yeah, aste Villa
need a lock in a win here, and usually you
back them because of that midweek fixture will have.

Speaker 3 (19:31):
Yeah, I think you still do.

Speaker 2 (19:32):
I think there's there's still enough rest time. There's a
good five six day break. Yeah, it's fine. They play
Bournemouth on Saturday night our time one am Sunday morning.

Speaker 1 (19:42):
Yep. Yeah, so I'm going to go Villa there. I
think the confidence is just brewing. They're just playing fun football.
So many guys are scoring and like they're not rying
on Watkins. They've got so many other options now, so yeah,
don't mind them against Bournemouth. All right, let's get into it.
We're going to do trivia with Olivia. I think she's
ready to go. We can have a quick break before
we get into it that if we need you.

Speaker 4 (20:00):

My favorite part of the show.

Speaker 3 (20:18):
Hit us with the question Olivia. We're so good to do.

Speaker 5 (20:20):
It sometimes, all right, who has played for the most
Premier League clubs? And how many clubs did they play for?

Speaker 3 (20:27):
Oh? I had heard of this, but I can't remember
who it is?

Speaker 2 (20:29):
All time?

Speaker 3 (20:30):
Yeah, all time on the top of the stats. James Milton. No,
he's only played who's the player the old one?

Speaker 2 (20:39):
I'm going to go Nicholas and Nelka.

Speaker 3 (20:41):
Oh, that's a good call.

Speaker 2 (20:43):
And I believe he's played for six Premier League class six?

Speaker 3 (20:48):
Who the hole has played it?

Speaker 1 (20:50):
There's a there's a stat that I've seen. I don't
think it was Nicholas and knock Who was it?

Speaker 2 (20:53):
Because Anelka played for?

Speaker 3 (20:55):
Oh, Peter Crouch's played What do you play for? Like
three or four?

Speaker 2 (20:58):
Probably play for our own Mark swatters Water.

Speaker 1 (21:02):
Yeah, I feel like what did the crotch you play for?
Stove Stove Tottenham? That didn't know he's played? He played
the other place Ill Liverpool?

Speaker 3 (21:16):
Actual, yeah, stuff. And I'll say Peter Cratch.

Speaker 1 (21:17):
I don't think that's right, but I'll say and how
many we have to say? How many clubs? I'll go five?

Speaker 3 (21:24):
Both are wrong. It's Marcus Bent.

Speaker 5 (21:26):
He played for eight clubs, including Crystal Palace, Blackburn, Ipswich,
Lester Emerson, Charlton, Wigan and Wolves.

Speaker 1 (21:36):
Day.

Speaker 3 (21:36):
Yeah, that's a great that's Marcus. A good one. There
you go.

Speaker 1 (21:41):
No one gets points for that one, no, no point,
But that's a great question.

Speaker 3 (21:44):
We just learned people learn on this show.

Speaker 1 (21:47):
Thanks Olivia from us. We learned everyone just has a
good time. Yeah, I'm just trying to look at Marcus
Bent is that his name? I was looking at Nicols
Snoka as well. I've seen this guy, Yes, yes, yes, Arsenal.
He's got really deadly eyes, his eyes. I remember this guy.

Speaker 2 (22:03):
Wait, how many cups? Eight?

Speaker 3 (22:06):
Are you trying to see? How many who you're looking
at now? I think it's an five?

Speaker 1 (22:12):
He played for He did play for sixty one up
a limits, she knows that stuff. They all right, we're
finishing with our finishing it off with the quick fire
tips EBR Match Week's nine predictions Quick five tips. We've
already gone through Arsenal West Liverpool. We're both going Liverpool,
so we won't touch on that one, but we'll touch
on the rest Leicester City verse not for it, nots
Forest who gone.

Speaker 2 (22:34):
This is actually quite tough, very tough.

Speaker 3 (22:36):
Uh at King Power.

Speaker 2 (22:38):
Do I go with draw? No, I'm gonna I'm gonna
go Noddingham for US. I think they I think Morgan
gives White comes back as well's Chris Wood scoring, Hudsond
Todoy scoring.

Speaker 1 (22:47):
I'm going not as well. Like Man City versus Southampton.
I don't even if southampt Can get a result in
that would be the biggest up he set almost in
football history what I'm doing this week? There we go
triple captain in Harland. Oh damn home against hasn't scored
the last couple, is.

Speaker 2 (23:02):
He Yeah, which means his due for a bit.

Speaker 3 (23:04):
He's probably gonna kick four. He's like, what is it?
Road to eighty seven?

Speaker 2 (23:09):
Yeah? I think he's slacked off a bit now, Yeah,
he might not be getting towards that target.

Speaker 1 (23:13):
Yeah, Man CD is an obvious one there. Brentford versus
Ipswich Town. I think I'm going Brentford. I think they've
been they've been pretty solid.

Speaker 2 (23:21):
Draw okay Ipswich.

Speaker 3 (23:24):
And yeah, okay, I don't mind that. Brighton verset Wolves.

Speaker 2 (23:31):
You know what what do I I'll play a safe
and go bright don't go against Brighton, surely, I don't
hate Wolves are on one point. I know, but I don't.
I don't hate Wolves. They have been playing bad.

Speaker 3 (23:43):
Yeah, okay, I feel against Chelsea.

Speaker 2 (23:45):
I feel like, except for probably Chelsea in the second half,
they were poor.

Speaker 1 (23:49):
All right, but you're going Brighton going all right, fair
enough aston Villa versus Bournemouth, I said Aston Villa, but
I feel.

Speaker 3 (23:55):
Like you're leaning towards the other way a little bit.

Speaker 2 (23:57):
No, I'm still going to back aston Villa, but I
do think Bournemouth get on the scor definitely put up
before ok yeah.

Speaker 1 (24:03):
Nice Evan and verse Fulham the Tuffees. I'm gonna go. Actually,
I didn't mind that bet the draw bet. Yeah, I
didn't want to tip. Yeah, I think I'll go with
dog Nice Krystal Palace best Tottenham. It's a London derby.
Actually it is London.

Speaker 3 (24:21):
Can they get on the board.

Speaker 2 (24:22):
Palace is shocking.

Speaker 3 (24:24):
I know we said spursy things.

Speaker 2 (24:25):
Yeah, they are really bad in London. I might just
be talking absolute rubbish. I think they haven't wanted. They
went on a stretch for like fourteen games without winning
a London.

Speaker 3 (24:35):
That was last year. But that was like everyone talked
about that. Yes, yeah it was correct.

Speaker 2 (24:38):
Yeah, West includes west Ham Brentford Chelsea.

Speaker 3 (24:40):
How are they doing? Uh yeah, I think we're gonna
go Tottenham.

Speaker 1 (24:43):
Yeah, it would be a very Spursy thing to do
to get Pallas's first winners against Tottenham.

Speaker 2 (24:48):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (24:48):
I feel like and he knows what he's doing with them.

Speaker 2 (24:50):
He knows what he's doing.

Speaker 3 (24:50):
Chelsea bast Newcastle, Chelsea, Chelsea. I'll got Chelsea.

Speaker 1 (24:54):
Why not. I feel like we're doing the same one
almost all of them. West Ham Man United. There's actually
a big game for both teams, Man and United. I've
got to win on the board. Last week west Ham
been so bad with like a decent team.

Speaker 2 (25:05):
Surely because it's a London stadium, going to be a draw.
Oh it was that old Trafford. I'd go Man United.
I just think without Curtis that's that's a big out
massive Although they do have the like they can just
move bowling out right, some of ill left and then
that's my point.

Speaker 3 (25:20):
They team on paper there it's actually good, but they
start how to win.

Speaker 2 (25:23):
Yeah, and maybe who knows, maybe the Manchester you knowed
a couple of good results.

Speaker 3 (25:27):
Well that's what I'm leaning towards.

Speaker 1 (25:28):
I don't always want to back man you, but I'm
going to back man you in this one because I
think west Ham so bad, worse than Manu. And then yea,
we already touched on Arsenal best Liverpool. That's that wraps
up the weekend. That's going to be really good on Sunday.
Now you're not going to get any sleep again on if.

Speaker 3 (25:40):
You watched any of these games? What times the Chelsea
game up on a Monday morning? Yeah, beautiful Wedays in
the Monday morning meeting.

Speaker 2 (25:50):
Maybe maybe yeah, heads a better about three thirty.

Speaker 3 (25:53):
That's nice.

Speaker 1 (25:55):
