Speaker 1 (00:02):
Welcome back to the Football Today podcast, brought to you
by Betfair, who are on your side this EPL season.
I'm your host Alea McCarty and also known as the
Stats Guy. Marcus is back in the chair for some
Premier League football. No international breaks till March. He's fired up,
let's go. Thank you.
Speaker 2 (00:18):
He didn't mention that, it looks like in this intro
I didn't. I actually forgot about that, but I do
thank you.
Speaker 1 (00:24):
Getting back on the park. I miss Benua, yeah a
little bit. I wonder.
Speaker 2 (00:27):
I wonder what he's up to. What he does during
the week.
Speaker 1 (00:29):
Trains a bit of a boring, bit of a boring life.
No games been into at the moment.
Speaker 2 (00:34):
By for the under twenty ones.
Speaker 1 (00:35):
I don't think. No, well he's not under twenty one,
so oh you can't have a few plays. That's true,
that's true, but very excited. The Premier League's back for
match Week twelve. No more international breaks till March. As
I just mentioned, we don't have.
Speaker 2 (00:46):
To watch the soccers anymore.
Speaker 1 (00:50):
No one said you had to watch the soccers. But
you're very patriotic man. Yes we will. We will get
into that. About the soccer is and some world football
news as well EPL news. The best Betfair back lay
bet for EPL match Week twelve, including some expert tips
from your men what's his name to fair fair expert as.
Speaker 2 (01:08):
Long interesting ones this week he does plenty of values,
stick around and find out.
Speaker 1 (01:13):
Stick around for that. We're gonna finish with some quick
fire tips as well for the EPL this weekend. No
trivia this week and probably a good thing. We usually
stick that up, but we'll bring it back next week,
so make sure you watch it next week as well.

All right, let's get right into it's not mucking around
(01:36):
around the grounds. We'll start off with the soccer US
as ossies. We like to talk about the soccer US
soccer's results. I'm actually glad I ended up did not
getting a ticket to this game. Noel, did you see
tickets were available? I was going to go. I was
going to go.
Speaker 2 (01:50):
My mate asked me in the afternoon, and yeah, they
said allocation exhausted.
Speaker 1 (01:54):
Yeah, me and my mate check for tickets and there's plenty.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
Of tickets available. We had row a behind the goals.
Speaker 1 (02:00):
They maybe people like re sold them or something. Yeah.
Against Saudi Ray it was a weirdly fun game for
Noel that there was a lot happening. I thought it
was all right towards the end. Yeah, I thought were.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
Very lucky to get away with it. Their goal got dislowed.
Speaker 1 (02:14):
I I'm not going to bring the game into disrepute,
but the Aussies might have paid the rest a little
bit for that that goal getting disallowed. Saudi Arabia probably
should have scored there. I was a bicycle kick chance.
It was a bit of everything, bicycle key chance for
the Aussies. Uh not enough like opportunity to shoot or not.
Creative play stuff from the Aussies.
Speaker 2 (02:32):
Weirdly end to end, but no real big chances. I
don't know. The finishing from both sides.
Speaker 1 (02:39):
Yeah, very bad finishing, I think. Yeah, Satiraba very unlucky.
But Australia still hold onto second place in the group,
which is good. Despite against Bahrain this morning to all
against Bahrain again not the best result. We lost to
them last time.
Speaker 2 (02:53):
So maybe you haven't seen the whole lots of that game.
Please just go and watch the goals.
Speaker 1 (02:58):
It's dodgiest two all game of all It'll be the
worst three minutes you've ever spent, if you want to
do that, If that's if that's how your roll. At
least the Aussies. Yeah, first minute, Yange scores. They get
to back in the seventy third and seventy seventh, I
think something in the seventies. And then it's like, all right,
the OZ is going to lose to bar Rain twice
in a campaign that's just embarrassing. They're ranked outside the
(03:20):
top one hundred. Really not good enough. Then Yankee scores
again the ninety six. So he's scored in the last,
the first kick in the game pretty much in the last,
So good on him for finishing. He had the easiest
finish ever.
Speaker 2 (03:31):
At the start proved tone of Popovich that you should
be playing more because heaps of minutes previously, even when
they brought Mitch Duke off the pitch, didn't bring yangy on.
Yanger gets a start and he's scoring goals and that's
what he has done for Australia throughout his international.
Speaker 1 (03:46):
I really like him. He's a portsmouth he's moving up
sort of the ranks in England. I really like him.
He's a big guy but really athletic. So Ozzie still
hold on to second place in the one win from
six games and still in second play. We are so lucky.
It goes to pan like reach how high Japan are
in this group. They are amazing, and then you've got
everyone else fight in the second like shocking.
Speaker 2 (04:08):
I think Japan are on like sixteen points and the
Aussies are on what seven and seven?
Speaker 1 (04:12):
So we'll hang on to second, but we need to
get some wins on the board in March otherwise we're
a bit cooked. For very lucky Indonesia beat Saudi Arasia.
I pot that.
Speaker 2 (04:20):
I was actually kind of crazy upset. Yeah, but the
Indonesians are very happy. In the soccer comments, we did talk.
Speaker 1 (04:27):
About that ages Ago Bali away. It would be nice
soccer is playing Bali or something like that, so they'd
actually be a big crowd there. Half of the Balis repon.
They'd be pretty cool, all right. Next one I want
to talk about in the world football is San Marino's
third ever win market only three games since two thousand
and four. Two of them have been in the last
(04:47):
two months, they've qualified for the first time ever to
the next stage of a tournament. The last fifteen game
form trend actually looks all compared to their previous one
hundred and forty Yeah. Yeah, they had one hundred and
forty as in a row without a win, one hundred
and thirty out or something, and now they've had two
in the last month. All three of their wins ever though,
fun little fact, all of them have come against LinkedIn Style.
(05:10):
So what are you doing, lindn Style because Linton's had
a few wins. But I had to put that in there.
I called it on the show last week. Everyone was
talking about sam Ma Reno. I said it the other time.
Check out their Twitter page. The fan page is hilarious.
They're just every minute they're doing some funny tweets about
the game. Qualified through the next stage of the Nation's League.
So they go up to Group C. Yep, they're going
to get absolutely smashed in that group. But I'm very
(05:31):
happy because they actually are building a bit of a
fan base now.
Speaker 2 (05:34):
So happy and hopefully football can grow a little bit
now on sam Marino.
Speaker 1 (05:37):
Yeah, hopefully. But they've only got thirty week. Yeah, is
really care. Next one my homeland, Scotland. You just want
to talk about your home work, Scotland. Let's go. Scotland
is strong form. Beat Croatia and Poland. They're no easy beats,
that's their Their first win was Croatio last week, their
(05:58):
first winning over a year, which is a bit of
a way. Lots of draws in there, lots of draws
in there, and then they beat Poland as well. Backed
it up. So Andy Robinson's killing it. I was just
happy that Scotland are doing one. I really hope they
can make some more big tournaments because their fans are awesome.
The vibe the team I think is really fun to watch.
Speaker 2 (06:16):
Ninety third minute winner from Robots.
Speaker 1 (06:17):
Yeah, so he's doing really well. So I put Scold
in there. Why not? They're in good form. Why last one?
I want to touch on for around the grounds. You
can probably touch on this a little bit more. Christopher
and Kunker. So you're a big Chelsea man obviously he's
reportedly not happy with his Chelsea playing time and Man
United might be circling on in Cuku. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (06:36):
Look, I think that's fair. I think it's fair for you.
That's the problem when you got what Chelsea is doing
with so many players, You're going to hear this probably
throughout the next couple of seasons, even towards later this season,
players like Geo Felix who aren't starting going to get
a little bit unsettled. There already are some players are
being unsettled that you don't really hear about behind the scenes.
Speaker 1 (06:56):
Christopher Kunker has been one of them.
Speaker 2 (06:58):
The problem is not going to start in his natural
position at camp because he's not starting over cor palmer
Nicholas Jackson at the moment perfect fit for the system.
But in saying that, in Kungku has the most goals
of any Chelsea player so far this season.
Speaker 1 (07:17):
Competition.
Speaker 2 (07:18):
I think he's already bagged almost double digits, if not
double digits in all comps.
Speaker 1 (07:22):
That actually surprised me.
Speaker 2 (07:23):
He's called a winner against Bournemouth in the Premier League
and he scored a crapload in the Conference League as well.
Speaker 1 (07:30):
So true, he got a trick, didn't he.
Speaker 2 (07:32):
I think he's got the country yeah too, Yeah, because
a couple of braces as well.
Speaker 1 (07:35):
It's going to be, yeah, a lot of balloons for
his little celebration.
Speaker 2 (07:38):
Yeah, hat trick in the League Cup when we played
like Barrow.
Speaker 1 (07:42):
Yeah, that's right. He's scored, he's scoring lots of goals.
The balloon's coming out a whole bunch. Yeah, but he's
getting in the Premier League, not in the Premier League,
and Chelsea are playing pretty well in the Premier League.
It's like if it was last season, I reckon, they
would have probably given him a few more minutes maybe
just to try a few things. But the form is
actually pretty solid from Chelsea that they don't want to
chang too much. So it's going to be crazy if
he goes to Menu or go somewhere else, because I
(08:05):
reckon he'll he'll do well. He's very good, very good player.
But you're right he doesn't fit into Chelsea's makeup at
the moment. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (08:11):
Yeah, just there's just way too many quality players front three,
front four.
Speaker 1 (08:16):
Just put him on, just play all out attack and
put him in on the line up will literally Drick
feel yeah in Kung Ku Palmer jack Jackson, no defenders
and then Robert and check him in there. I love
cook anyway, that's around the grounds. Yeah, that's interesting on
in Cuckle So watch this space. We'll have a chat
(08:36):
about that next week. If there's anything that comes out
from that. Before we get into the back of a
bets we always have a look the best game of
the match week.
Speaker 2 (08:45):
Is it tricky that this is the only good game
of the weekend.
Speaker 1 (08:48):
That's my point. That's not meant to choose from. Yeah,
definitely was a bit of sarcasm there. Manchester City versus
Tottenham now in the past, there's just been a lot
of really good games between them. That's why I've chucked
it in there. Even under PEP under Sunny has had
a lot of good games. Harry came back in the day,
had a lot of good games against them. Man City
couldn't really win it. The Champions League tie as well,
(09:08):
Champions over there.
Speaker 2 (09:10):
Actually yeah, a little bit crazy. I think like Stirling
scored and like the last kick of the game and
then he got dis allowed to one.
Speaker 1 (09:17):
Of the best games ever. Actually yeah. So they've had
some really good matchups City though they've lost four straight games.
We've been talking about this the last couple of weeks
because it was an international break. Obviously, four straight games
in all comps first time under PEP.
Speaker 2 (09:28):
One one against top them as well, one against.
Speaker 1 (09:30):
One of them was against Totenham in the League League yep.
And then Tottenham they're so up and down. This is
the Tottenham way. I feel so bad bad he's getting
sucked in into the Spursy way. They've gone win loss
in their last five league games. That is just classic Spurs.
Like you look at their fixture, you go, all right,
they should win this one. They won't win that. Oh
they should lose this one, they'll win that. Then they
(09:50):
just keep doing that all season. Yeah, they need to
find some consistency. And I think it's gonna be a
really good game.
Speaker 2 (09:56):
It's getting to the point where, like I know, will
people be calling in his head. But at the same
time you're thinking, look.
Speaker 1 (10:03):
They're playing, they're not playing that bad. They're playing the.
Speaker 2 (10:05):
Best football that they've had for a long time. Gets
very negative under no Conte Mourinho yep. But at the
same time it's obviously not the manager's faults, because this
is happening under the best managers in the world, likes
of Conte Mourinho. And then it's also happening under.
Speaker 1 (10:25):
Yeah, no, you're not wrong. They're playing, They've they've got
a test and they've got Man City obviously, which is
a huge test. Yes, then they play Fulham whichever actually
in decent form, Bournemouth, Chelsea, uh, and then they get
a bit easier. But the next month if they can
get three wins like the wins where they're like a
couple of draws in there as well, but they're like,
all right, we can finally get some consistency. We know
(10:45):
what our brand is. They just haven't done that. And
there's already twelve weeks into the season.
Speaker 2 (10:49):
If they can get yeah, like you said, three or
four league wins up until Christmas where they play Yeah City, Fullham, Bournemouth, Chelsea.
Speaker 1 (10:57):
So I think, like I wouldn't be surprised if they
lose to Bourne with and Fulham because that's just like
they're going okay, but Tottenham should be beating them. But anyway,
it's very hard on last meeting was a two nail
City win, but the Spurs before that have only lost
three of the last ten meetings, including three draws and
four wins, so I.
Speaker 2 (11:13):
Think it was a three to three draw as well.
Last year there was actually, yeah, there was one in there.
They've had some really high scoring draws and then Spurs
have actually won a lot in this meeting a bit
of a bogey team.
Speaker 1 (11:22):
Yeah. Usually at they're not too good at the Eddy
had but at hot First Stadium, hot spast Stadium was
there other stadium call before Heart Lane? They had actually
point three point lane for Chelsea fans out. The actually
had a pretty strong record there. So I genuinely think
this is going to be really close. Let's go for
the biggest match week, We'll go draw. Are you going?
Speaker 2 (11:43):
I did more written prediction on odds stock Com if
you check that check it out. Yeah, also has the
Football Today videos beautiful but I preticulated a one one draw.
So I've also suggested to lay Manchester City with Betfair article.
So I think that could be a shout laying Manchester. Yeah,
because injuries as well, it's there. They're cooked a little bit.
(12:05):
All of their starting center backs doubts is already. Nathan
ak is a doubt, Manuel canj is a doubt. That's
all Stones is a doubt. That's all the half depth.
So and you've got a lot of good attackers you've got. Yeah,
I'm trying to think for Tottenham like for Tottenham. Yeah,
(12:26):
so lanky and he's in good form. Breand Johnson's really
good performed.
Speaker 1 (12:31):
No, I can't say. I will say draw as well.
Who is gonna get on the scoread For the biggest game,
we'll give it.
Speaker 2 (12:36):
For the biggest game, I'll go to Lanky just purely
because my bl team. He can find the back of
the if not, if not, Sony has a good record.
Madison might get a start in this one because is
injured or coming back from an injury for City. Harlan's
a safe bet. But this is one with good one.
Speaker 1 (13:01):
Actually he's a banger.
Speaker 2 (13:02):
Does something.
Speaker 1 (13:03):
I actually don't mind that good and one banger because
he always produces one of them or two of them
a season. And then I'll go Brennan Johnson. He is
in really good for me everyone. He deleted social media.
He deleted social media. All jop blocked out of the haters,
even the Spurs fans are having to gone in. Don't
have a goal people, especially your own players. Look, you're
just it's so low to do that anyway, not proper fans.
(13:23):
And he might score one or I actually really like one,
all one or two all I'd be going. You probably
get a bit of value on the drawer as well,
So there we go. Yes, all right, that's the best
game in the match week. All the other games are
four some really bad ones, but we'll get into that later.
What we are going to get into, though, is the
back all lay BET's, thanks to bet Fair, the only
place to back or lay bet on the EPL this season.
Going to have a look at Tony's tips first, actually
(13:46):
going back a couple of weeks ago, but I'm just
going to touch on it again. We had four or
six tips from Matchrick eleven that got up, so we're
very happy, gone pretty well, Tony hart Fair expert tips
all go through the first couple and then you can
go through the next. He's got four back bets. He's
going to back over two and a half goals at
a dollar eighty five. For Arsenal versus Nottingham, both teams
(14:07):
have scored the last two meetings. I think both were
two to one, which surprised me a bit a little bit,
but they've had some scares against Notts in the past.
I think last year was when Arsenal were on the
down slope, Knots got up one zill and everyone's like, oh,
there we go. Not as well. I've scored in ten
of their eleven games, this year you got Chris Wood
somehow the second most goals. And I saw I was
on our FIFA af the other night and it pops
(14:29):
up Chris Wood. This really good in form card am
I what the hell is Chris Woods usually like a
seventy year righted player. He's like eighty five now he's unbelievable.
Chris Wood. So good on him, even though he's getting
a bit older. But yeah, not to a really good form.
I really lightly over two and a half goals at
the Emirans they like to play a bit more attacking
there dollar eighty five. I don't mind that from Tony.
Speaker 2 (14:48):
Chris Wood for New Zealand three games in World Cup
qualifies scored six goals, six goals, six goals and three.
Speaker 1 (14:54):
It doesn't count when you're playing America Samoa and like yeah,
because like that's what Australia used to be qualifying in.
And we have the record thirty.
Speaker 2 (15:02):
Two, the biggest ever international win or biggest winn and
Thompson has the most.
Speaker 1 (15:07):
Yeah, the fact that the soccers have the most goals
ever is wild unreal. But I'm actually glad we don't
qualify in that anymore because it's not it doesn't help
your development. So Chris would be the best player in
that Oceana in like mile next one, so we're backing. Yeah,
they're over two and a half goals there. Next time
we're going to back this one's a little bit more value.
(15:28):
Backing Brighton at three dollars for Bournemouth versus Brighton is
a tricky one. This is a tough one because Bournemouth
have been in really solid form, but they Brighton do
like to play against them. Brighton have won three of
the last four meetings, also coming off wins against Manchester
City and Tottenham and a drawer against Arsenal, so they're
beating the big teams. They can crumble sometimes against the
lower teams. Not that bost like a really low team.
(15:50):
They're like mid.
Speaker 2 (15:50):
Table if it was if this was at the Ax, Yeah, same.
Speaker 1 (15:54):
I think Also Tony's really like in the value here
because I think Brighton are the better team, but you
just get a little bit extra value because it's a
way obviously, but they've had some really good away games,
a couple of drawers there, so three bucks. I don't
mind it.
Speaker 2 (16:07):
It is.
Speaker 1 (16:08):
It is probably the trickiest bet at the ones we've
got yep, but I think Brighton are a better team,
so that's what he's.
Speaker 2 (16:13):
Backing for those two. He's also backing both teams not
to score. Southampton versus Liverpool game at two dollars. I
think that's that's really good your house first first last
Liverpool had the best defensive season, was st I think
they've conceded about six goals six yep, back on definitely,
(16:33):
and Southampton have the worst offense.
Speaker 1 (16:36):
So they've scored seven goals and Liverpool has gon twenty one.
Speaker 2 (16:41):
That's that's what they've said, scored seven, Liverpool's conceded six.
It's only leaning towards one way. Two dollars still plenty. Yeah,
that's really good.
Speaker 1 (16:50):
It's pretty much you betting on Liverpool to win to
Neil because they're gonna win. They're going to beat Outrampton randomly.
There was a four all game randomly when a few
years back against them, and I saw Tony brought that
up in his Betfair article. But there's going to be
nothing like that. They could be eight goals. I think
he said this, there could be eight goals, but it
(17:11):
could be all. Yeah, well, if.
Speaker 2 (17:15):
Liverpool win this and City lose to Tottenham, the titles done, mate,
the gap will be eight points. I'm calling it. First
of all, sorry Arsenal fans. They got no chance from here.
I don't think unless Liverpool like could pitulate massively. Right,
Arsenal are nine points behind currently.
Speaker 1 (17:33):
That's tough. Think it's going to be a city still
have a chance because they probably are still expecting themselves
to win because Tottenham and top Spurs. But yeah, I
think that that's a bit cooked. Was the last expect
tip last week. Expert.
Speaker 2 (17:47):
He's also gone both teams to score, but this time
he wants to happen seventy five in the Newcastle versus
west Ham game.
Speaker 1 (17:54):
I don't know this season, just in my.
Speaker 2 (17:57):
Head, I just feel like there's always goals when these
two teams this season as te dog mentions in the
previous three meetings four three two to two and five one,
So even over and a half three and a half
possibly a bit more value all three, two, two and
five one.
Speaker 1 (18:14):
Is out there.
Speaker 2 (18:15):
West Ham have are in the bottom four for their
defensive record this season, so there's definitely goals on office.
So that's a dollar seventy five.
Speaker 1 (18:23):
Yeah, they've improved the last couple of weeks I think
they've got a goal on the board. Actually, they had
an all against Everton which was a stinker, but other
than that they look a bit yeah better on offense.
And then Newcastle they're still scoring some goals, but they
just don't look like themselves at the moment. So I
wouldn't be surprised if this is like a drawer one
or two and you get both teams to score there,
which is beautiful. Uh, you go first if you want
(18:43):
to keep rolling into We've had quite a few backs
from from te dogs. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (18:49):
Lay, Actually we're both gonna go away and we're both
laying head to head teams as well. So I'm going
to lay Brentford at three really twenty on the road
against Everton at goodness, good as some park.
Speaker 1 (19:02):
Okay you might be thinking that and being like, why
visa the best dur in the league.
Speaker 2 (19:08):
Possibly, but but but I'm going to say this good
a some park. I think Everton haven't been bad, they
just haven't got the points on the board that. Yeah,
they're currently sixteenth, two wins and four draws. Yeah, they've
only lost one of their last five games Everton, and
they're also undefeated in the previous four meetings against Brentford
(19:29):
they've won. They've won the last three meetings in fact,
and the fourth one was a draw, so they have
an excellent record against Brentford. So that's what I'm holding
my hats onto here. Three dollars twenty.
Speaker 1 (19:39):
You honestly convinced me and good of some park no
matter where they are on the table. It's not easy
a lot. There's a lot of draws there. So you
get the drawer in the lane. And just to remind you, yeah,
you get the draw in the lane. You get the
draw or the evident wins. I think that could be
a draw so perfect.
Speaker 2 (19:51):
Who are you laying against?
Speaker 1 (19:53):
This is a bit of an easy one and I
thought the odds just popped out of me laying Crystal
Palace at six dollars twenty against Aston Villa. It's at
Villa Park six dollars twenty. That is just licky lifts
for that. That is beautiful. Pass have three losses, two
drawers at home, no wins, so you you don't even
I think asim Villa will win, but you don't even
need them to win. You can get a drawer here
because there have been a little bit shaky this season.
(20:16):
Compared to last season, Pass eighteenth on the table. Haven't
won against sorry, yeah, that's right, Krystal Pass. Haven't won
at Villa Park since twenty thirteen. Any that was when
like they were.
Speaker 2 (20:29):
Poo yeah, yeah, they were getting three hundred people a game.
That's the stadium was like getting empty. Yep, because I
remember Chelsea were horrible that season, even where you whooped them, Yep,
that wasna really matter Chelsea. That was back when Chelsea
had Alexandra Patto in game.
Speaker 1 (20:45):
That's a long time, good memory back then. Yeah, so
they haven't won there in a long time. If Chris
Pass don't win, you get a drawer, we'd I think
Villa are going to win six dollars twenty just beautiful
value there, So laying Crystal Pass there. So we've got
some back bets. We've got some layer bets or thanks
to Betfair. So there we go. Abl Match Week twelve
is here for the Premier League. Let's go through some
quick fire tips. I'll read them out and there's some
(21:07):
very society anyway, maybe they will be I think that'll
be a fire. Let's the city versus Chelsea. There we're
going I'm hoping Chelsea. Yeah, I think I think they
could score Leicester, but I'm going to go with Chelsea win.
There full of versus Wolves, this could be weirdly actually this.
Speaker 2 (21:23):
Is finally one of the better games of the weekend.
Speaker 1 (21:26):
Wolves.
Speaker 2 (21:28):
I'm still going to go Fulham, just with the home finish.
Speaker 1 (21:30):
Fulham been really good. Mel Smith ro I reckon get
a couple of assists there, so yep for them from
both of us there, Everton at verse Brentford. You're saying
you don't want Bremford. Don't want Bremford.
Speaker 2 (21:39):
So actually I'm leaving leaning towards and Everton win. Really
bit of a shock I can win. I thought this
is your you love a draw. They just they just
won the previous three so they're gone for four and
don't mind it.
Speaker 1 (21:50):
I'll go draw. I'm going to beat you. Sit on
the fence enough, get a bit of value there for the.
Speaker 2 (21:54):
Draw, getting any splinters on your bum No, no, that's
why we're gents.
Speaker 1 (21:59):
Arsenal verse nuts Forest. This will be a really fun game. Yeah,
it will be really fun. Been scoring but at the Emirates.
Speaker 2 (22:06):
Look, if Arsenal don't win this race done, I might
just have a short of me just laughing.
Speaker 1 (22:13):
For like a whole minute.
Speaker 2 (22:14):
I'm going to be I'm going to be hate watching
Arsenal's what time is this?
Speaker 1 (22:20):
What time is this game? At two am on Saturday?
I might watch it.
Speaker 2 (22:23):
Yeah, I'm at a festival. Watch it after Saturday night
for Sunday morning. That'll be good straight after Lester loves
after Forest. Next one, Bournemouth versus Brighton. Already touched on that.
I agree with Tony in the expert tips. I'm going Brighton,
but this is going to be a really close game.
I'm going to go Bournemouth. Actually okay, yeah, I actually no,
(22:47):
I'll go draw. I'll change, I'll Gora. I just think
Bournemouth are really well drilled.
Speaker 1 (22:51):
Then go Bournemouth.
Speaker 2 (22:53):
Fine, it'd be so excited.
Speaker 1 (22:56):
Next one, Aston Villas Crystal Palace. Already touched on it.
Villa for me could smash him. Here Man City verse Tottenham.
We both went in the draw, correct, So right, yeah,
one or one old correct score if you're into that
sort of market. Southampton versus Liverpool. This could be the
biggest margin of the season. I'm going to say five.
Has it been a five yet? No?
Speaker 2 (23:16):
No, there probably has been. Let's be honest, they have
big losses. I mean Chelsea beat Will six too.
Speaker 1 (23:23):
Oh yeah, true, that doesn't mean like a massive to nil.
Yeah yeah, that hasn't really been a message. I'm going
to say five Nils Liverpool the largest.
Speaker 2 (23:31):
Logest the largest Toil victory that I can think of.
Most recently was Liverpool actually beating Bournemouth if you remember
the seven eight.
Speaker 1 (23:42):
That's right, that going to be similar. Yeah, it could
be similar Liverpool. Okay, cool if switched Town versus man United.
This is good. Is another fun game. It's a fun game,
but we haven't really talked about that. The new manager,
first game in charge, first game in charge for man U,
which is one of these clubs in the world. So
see how they set up. Did you see this is
obviously not quick fight tips as usual. Did you see
(24:04):
you know how you get like stadium tours. There's the
there's all these like twenty thirty people getting their stadium
tour in the rooms. Ameron's in Old Trafford and he
just shakes their hand and they're like what they're like.
There's like all these international people just like bowing to
him like you're God, you are God. And he goes
around and thanks for coming. Next to and he was
like really nice to be fair, Like that's so cool.
(24:24):
The people who do go.
Speaker 2 (24:25):
On those stadium tours largely are very available. Yeah YouTubers
like walk around like and just buy a full kit.
Speaker 1 (24:33):
Yeah, they walk around so you player, yeah photo, Yeah
one hundred percent. But it was actually am room. They
might not cool one hundred percent. There would have been
people in their going. I don't even know who that
is that yeah, but yeah, anyway, that that's a really
fun game. We didn't even tip it. Who are we gone?
I'm going, man, you first game under am room, they're
going to fire up? Yeah, I think so. I think
I'll go man, you know as well, and it would
(24:55):
be funny if they lose anyway. Newcastle versus west Ham
the last one and lots of goals we predicted. I'm
going to Newcastle at home. I know they haven't been
very good though.
Speaker 2 (25:04):
This game is so pretty toolo because west they made
their best to solid and sold newcasts they are. But
I just really have been underwhelmed and unimpressed with west Ham,
even more so than Newcast.
Speaker 1 (25:14):
Newcastles slowly. Yeah, they got to win against Arsenal coming up,
and they also got the win against Nortingham Forest, so
you go on newcast before the break, so Newcastle for me?
All right? Perfect, All right, that's it for match week twelve.
