been very exciting. A lot has happened just in three
match weeks already, so been absolutely awesome. Today we're going
to cover the top EPL news around the grounds. We'll
call it table check, our best Betfair back or lay

talking about EPL once again. Around the ground, very excited
to get it. Let's go around the grounds.
Speaker 1 (01:33):
We'll start with all right, just in the run sheheet,
I'm just going to read it out as it says
Man United suck.

In the run sheheet, what is going on with me
and you obviously had a decent trade deadline. They're pretty
good in the window, but yeah, what's going on there?
They've started really bad. Yeah, look, is the run shreet

like they've got the obviously the first win against Fulham
the opening day which they kind of scraped through that.
They just got over the one one nil, Yeah, terrible
against Brighton, deservedly losers in that game, and then got
absolutely thrashed Bondpool at Old Trafford. I don't think like

you can grasp how big that rivalry is and how
embarrassing it is to lose three nil at home to Liverpool.

Well, even when they've sort of been poor maybe last
year the year before that was pretty strong, but they're
always good at home. There was those stats of for ages.
Even though they just scrape out a draw or scrape
out a win like a one near win like in
the first week, they wouldn't lose, they wouldn't lose, whereas
that one even if they lost one or two near
of Liverpool be like all right, Liverpool just that class above, yep,
but three nil is a bit unacceptable for easily been five.

It's only been three patch weeks. We're only at the

talking about, the declan Rice red card. This was very
funny as a Chelsea fan, I was just laughing my
head off seeing Arsenal draw. I've almost said lose one
all but I would have felt like I lost, But
it was definitely a draw one or to Brighton, what.

Do I think was it a second yellow?
Speaker 1 (03:49):
First look, I said, no way, that's yellow yep, And
then sort of looking back at it again, it probably
was a yellow. And it was just unlucky that was
his second year because both yellows were probably there. But
then the other side of it, he got kicked in
the leg and who was Lan literally kicked declarly nice
in the leg wasn't going for the ball at all,
I don't think, and the ref sort of fell for

that and didn't give him a yellow card.

So I feel like we're on a similar page to
that one. Yeah, I'm similar to you. I think it
definitely was the second yellow. Okay, So Declan Rice says
right to be sent off okay, although in saying that,
with the consistency, Rice should have got sent off with
a second yellow. Yeah, then Jeah Pedro should have got
a yellow card for bridden the ball away and Velman

probably arguably should have got a Yllow card as well,
just blatantly kicked him. Yeah, all the Arsenal fansking saying
it was horrendous decision. Horrible decision. It wasn't it's like lateral,
the Lord's there, it's just the inconsistency, like Je Pedro
should have got one as well.

Yeah, well, I think almost every couple of games there's
like a moment where a player kicks the ball away,
scuffs a little mark or things like that, and the.

Because was smart with because he went to go play
it quickly. Yep, put the ball down quickly, and then
that's when Ross sort of just not play. It was
done by Jack and Rice obviously very experienced play.
Speaker 1 (05:04):
It was because if it was only not only yell,
you'd be like, all right, fine. He was just sort
of just trying to stop the play. He's only yellow.
You gotta be smarter than that when you're don't take
any risks. So at the end of the day, you're right.

standard it's bet as good as we get something excited

think it's just today this morning won their appeal against
the f FP charge, so they'll lose no points, so
they'll be really happy with that.

Questioning the inconsistency with people going over the financial yeah
fair play, So I feel.

Like, shouldn't it just be like the rules are if
you if you don't if you make a loss of

because but surely it's just night and day which side
you're on the fence, and then if you're on the
wrong side.

For example, Everton they were they were on the wrong side.
I think it was only by a little bit, but

Then you are Alan Sherop arguably the goat eleven hat

Aguero is on top twelve hat tricks in two hundred
and seventy five games. So on this at the moment,
Harland's on track to beat Aguero's record by like one
hundred and something games.

I think it was one of our social posts for
another one saying Harland is turning the Premier League into
a farmers league just when Man City played. Obviously isn't
a farmers league, and his goals are amazing, but he
just can't stop scoring.

I feel bad for the people who didn't pick him
in fantasy either. Idiots got him, You've gotta be kicking yourself.
But Aguero is averaging is the next best averaging. Yeah,
hat trick every just over like twenty.

Games, which is still great because he's it's just still

Yeah, but every seven eight games unreal. Well, he's already
got two hat tricks Harland in three games. He's got
the most amount of goals as every single he's got
every single club this season. Chelsea and Arsenal have seven goals. Yep,
Harland has seven goals. For the rest have less than seven.
It just shows how crazy that guy is. He should

He gets the wins and then like the whole difference
and things like that. Just harleague. Can we just like
take out Harland's goals from City, Yeah? Please, that that
can be there. That can be there instead of a
points deduction. Take away Harland's goals and their results from
Harland's goals. That's a fair points deduction in my opinion.

Obviously City first, Liverpool second both have three wins from three.
Liverpool I think the only team in the competition not
to concede a goal so far. I think you're right. Yeah,
two l three Nils so spot on. Great start by them.
Obviously they did plays Switch Brentford and a shocking Manchester
United team, but yeah, really good signs and hoes slot.

Yeah you expect men you to score at home. So
they've done really wide offensively for sure. Arsenal in fourth
after that slip up against Briton, two wins in a draw. Yep,
Chelsea in eleventh obviously holdtool drawer at home as well.

Still against Wolves? And then we drew to Crystal Palace.
What's going on? That ended a run of fourteen consecutive
wins against Crystal Palace. Really yeah? Wow? And it was
a draw. So look, when you think Chelsea are gonna

the top four.

Paton and unlucky. Everton and Southampton have been for by
far the worst two teams in the competition so far.

I'd say Wolves aren't that far behind them, but in
terms of on the table at.

I think like at the Mole and you and like Everton.
What you know about Everton is they're so defensively.

backing a team to win, that's just a normal bet.
Everyone knows how to back a team to win and
things like that. If you're laying, I'll say a match bet,
you can go just say it's Southampton. No, I mean
they're not going to win, so I'll just say Liverpool
to win. That's a back and then if you think
they're going to draw or lose, you can lay against
them and things like that. So that's on Betfair this
(12:34):
week though, we're going to talk about backing or laying
some future bets because we have got the international break.
No matches this week, so maybe while we discuss our bets,
we can explain it a little bit as well. So
do you want to start us off? We'll do our
backs first. Who are you going to botch your best
future bet that you want to back?
Speaker 2 (12:49):
Marcus Well? Based off this season so far, I think
it's just a guarantee that Southampton are going to finish bottom,
especially with Lester Yeah, obviously now avoiding the FFP Chargers.
The only thing is everything will looked really bad. But
I always think that they always escape, they always grab
points from somewhere yep. And Southampton yeah, I've just not
really been impressed. They failed to win against or get

a point against ten men Newcastle and they just don't
really look like scoring and goal. I don't know where
the goal is going to come from. So I really
struggling four dollars thirty back price with betfair for Southampton
to finish bottom.

I really I don't mind that. I think a lot
of people, including us, had them at the bottom anyway.
So the fact that you can get that really good
price on betfoe, I really like that. My back I'm
going Everton, We're going very negative. I just realized in
a lot of our But I'm going Everton to be
relegated two dollars ninety four. I thought that was way
overs I think the way they're going at the moment.
They were up two nil in the eighty six minute
on the weekend and lost three too. How is that

even possible at home against Bournemouth at home? Where what
do they play good at some park? They've just been
so good at good at some park really bad. So
I'm going everything to be relegated. I'm backing that. The
ownership situation is absolutely cooked, no money to buy players.

that's my absolute back and I really really liked that one.

Looking on the other side, we're going to get into
the lay market. So now this is where it says
the bet and we're going against it. So if it
doesn't happen, your lay bet will get up.

what's your lay bet. My labor is aston Villa to
finish top four, So for them not to make it, yep,
so not to finish in the top four five dollars twenty.
I just think, look, they're a good team, don't get
me wrong, yep. I just think sides like Chelsea Spur
maybe Manchester United to an extent, Yeah, they're going to

get better, and I think Villa just competing with the Champions
League football. We saw how hard I hit Brian. Obviously
Villa have a better manager at a boot and a
better squad. Yep. I still think they might just struggle
a little bit in that department with European football. Yeah,
I don't mind that five was twenty. That's that's pretty good.

Who's your top four? Then, if you're saying you're top
laying Aston outside the top four.
Speaker 2 (15:27):
So my top four would probably go Manchester City, Arsenal,
Liverpool and I'll just go buy.

Us and go Chelsea. I honestly don't mind that. Maybe
I'm a bit of a bias Chelsea fan as well.
All Right, my lay bet is to lay Manchester United
to finish top four. So again I'm saying, similar to
Marcus one, I'm saying they're going to finish outside the
top four.
Speaker 2 (15:47):
That's six dollars twenty on Betfair.
Speaker 1 (15:49):
They finished eighth last season, so that they're not going
to make up four spots. I don't think that's three
or four more wins they have to get from last season.
I don't think there are three or four more win
better side there five or six teams have better structuring
and cohesion. I think you mentioned a couple of them.
There's just so many teams that are going to finish
above them. And defensively the obviously it's only been three weeks,
but defensively, like through Casimiro, just the way we're the

way they last night of defense has been standing and
things like that. I'm just worried about them, and I
don't think they have any chance of being top four.
Like there's yeah, at least five or six teams that
I back ahead of them, So I'm laying them to finish.
Speaker 2 (16:22):
Top four six dollars twenty. I think really the fourteenth
at the moment, negative three gold difference already after three games. Yeah,
it's a real And that win against Fulham was an
eighty six minute sort of scrappy sort of joshu Zerkzy
is sort of diving in.

Yeah, Jerksy has been really good, and I think maybe
second half of the season they'll make a little bit
of a charge up to like fifth or sixth, But
I just don't see them breaking into the top four.
They've got to improve a lot from last season when
they finished eight. Eight to fourth is such a big jump. Yeah,
their goals really like xerxys look great. Yeah to start,
Hoyland obviously is capable of scoring, but it's just out
warde like Garnacho is not going to get you a

ten to fifteen goal.

Yeah, they need at least another guy Rushfud he's looking
half the player he is at his peak. Yep.

All right, we've already pretty much mentioned that you said
who you think is going to finish on top, but
we'll just talk about it briefly once again.

We'll talk a little bit about the Betfair odds when
I talk about a lay bet on this as well.
But who's our tider pick? Yeah, a little bit obvious.
We've got Manchester City yep. But in saying that, I
did have Arsenal in there.
Speaker 2 (17:30):
If City get that point deduction, okay, if City do
get the points deduction, I think Arsenal will win it.
But obviously that's that's a big gift. We'll find out
in a month or two. But from what I've seen
so far, City just still look incredible and like to
get good One back on a free I.
Speaker 1 (17:46):
Know, yeah, good One's literally one of the best players
in the world. He adds another scoring option because I like,
obviously Harleyfield from midfield. You got de Bruno who can
score himself, but he can just lay it off to
good that's another long shot ability. That's why I'm going
man City. Well, I know it's boring, but we're just
gonna We're gonna pick the winners. Yere, We're now to
pick the winners. And at the moment you cannot go
past Manchester City.

And they do five in a row, that's unheard of.
Someone's ever done four and they did it. They did
it on for five. They could do five in a row. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (18:13):
The thing is if they do those charges as one
hundred and fifty Chargers do, then Arsenal might all Liverpool.
Speaker 2 (18:18):
I reckons are sneaky. Liverpool has been good, but I
just think you know, Liverpool always a couple injuries away
from being in struggle town. Yeah, talking about Manchester City.
Speaker 1 (18:28):
I'm going for another lay bet with Betfair, so make
sure you check out Betfair. I'm laying Arsenal to win
the title, so that's risky. So that means I'm saying
Arsenal I'm not going to win the title. At three
dollars and fifteen cents on Betfair I just don't see
them winning. Like, even if Manchester City got that red
car on the weekend against Brighton, I think they could
win by a goal.
Speaker 2 (18:47):
They could get another goal. Arsenal missed it. They didn't
take their chance. The difference with City still either hold
on or go on and win that game, yep, and
then Arsenal just capitulated. Really yeah, everyone, they just sat back.
Bright And are a good team, don't get me wrong,
but look, yeah, they will definitely say there's two points
loss and it's the slimmester margins when you're competing with
Manchester City, and.

I just think, yeah, so far, I just can't see
anyone but Manchester City winning it unless there was those
charges coming to play.

So I'm laying Arsenal.

I know it's really it's only three weeks in and
Arsenal fans are probably thinking, oh, we still got a chance,
They've still got a massive chance. But I think there's
really good odds there already to lay Arsenal to win
the title. I don't think they can. They can do
all the way. Not bad, all right, all right, that's
our betfair back on lay bets. Let's get into a
bit more fun as well, best transfer window, that's our
next segment here we can go. We'll start with the team,

so we'll go best chance for Marcus who you got
best team?
Speaker 2 (19:40):
The best transfer window for me has been Manchester United. Yep,
I just yeah. I think the additions that they brought in,
especially with Tis Delitt he's Lenny Ero at C and
a half. That was a big issue for them. With
obviously Veran now leaving he was horrible last season. The
Sandra Martinez also injured for basically the majority of the season,
so you're stuck with Harry McGuire and Johnny Evans. Really
(20:04):
he looks about fifty two. But they've added a lot
of depth in there now, so look that their third choice,
fourth choice defenders are now better than that's Evans, and
I think there's a lot of experience in there which helps.
And even in defense, defensive midfield, Kasimira's looked horrendous. Emmanuel
(20:25):
Lagarte coming in from from Sporting Lisbon, from PARHG from
was that Sporting Lisbon. He's a very good player. He's
a very good young player. So I think he's in
alone with the option to buy unless they bought him,
just straight up permanently. Yep, they've been They've done really well.
So it was either between them or the team that
you're a going to say, Yeah, I don't mind menu.
(20:47):
I think they finishing eighth obviously last year they needed
some struck. I think the litt Is is a beast.
I think that's a great sign my best though I've
said it. I think I said it even a couple
of weeks ago. West Ham I think they were awesome.
They obviously finished ninth last year. To sort of hold
that position in a really competitive middle part of the
Premier League, they need to get a few signings. So
they've got full Krug. I know he's older.
Speaker 1 (21:05):
I think he's thirty one now, but he's a good finisher.
I think he can still have a good season throughout
the Euros. He was great great in the Euros. He
got some of all from Leeds. I think he's a
beast so quick. He's going to be fun to watch
for west Ham. One Besaka. I know that he's had
a really up and down career. Obviously when I saw it,
I saw him live at Pallace and I said, this
guy's the best player on the pitch. In Zaha was
still playing I said, this guy's the best player in
(21:26):
the pitch. He went to man You obviously he's cooked
it a little bit, but the skill he has, he
can still be a really good breath play more of
a lockdown sort of fullback.
Speaker 2 (21:33):
And I think at Manchester United they wanted him to
push push up a little bit more, which doesn't really
suit his game.
Speaker 1 (21:38):
But west Ham probably sit back a bit more than
Manu anyway, so I think that'll work with it, right.
I think Killman from Wolves, he's been really good. So
I think they've literally got four signings there that really
boost all positions. So I think west Ham are going
to be my best this season. I think do they
get any form of Europe? Is it seventh for the
Conference League?
Speaker 2 (21:56):
The seventh?
Speaker 1 (21:56):
Yeah, they'll push for seventh. I think I think even
to ninth is their sort of range. Yeah, and they.
Speaker 2 (22:03):
Could, they could.
Speaker 1 (22:04):
They probably out of them and Brighton at the moment
for that those last few years spots.
Speaker 2 (22:08):
Yeah, I agree. I think I think they'll still be
in around that ten spot, probably just because there's there's
teams that will improve. But then again, anything can happen.
Speaker 1 (22:16):
Yep, all right, we said best transfer window let's have
a little bit of fun.
Speaker 2 (22:20):
On the other side of it. The worst window, who
are you going with? The worst? For me has to
be Newcastle. Oh really has to be Castle. With all
the funds that they have available. Look, I know it's
tough to spend some of them. But they also completed
the permanent transfer of Lewis Hall, who was from going
from Chelsea. That was twenty eight million. That's a lot
(22:40):
of money. That's a lot of money when you don't
really want to spend elsewhere. They were linked with Mark
way here for so so long, and then Anderson from
Palace obviously went to Fulham. So then Palace like, we
don't really want to get rid of our best two defenders,
so we're going to keep Mark way here.
Speaker 1 (22:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (22:56):
Smart, you guys, you're in the mud. Yeah, and just
not to have backup option there, like they could have
signed tossing at a Rabo on a free like Chelsea did.
And there was another another defender that went pretty cheaply.
I can't remember off the top of my head, but
you could have gone in for him at least sign
a few more players that. Yeah, just to improve they
needed to improve off last, especially defensively. Like the defensive
(23:19):
options now, like you're playing dan Byrne. Obviously Fabian Shi suspended,
so you had dan Byrne cooked a meal Craft at
center back. And look, you've been under their ownership now
for two three seasons and you're not really buying anyone. Yeah,
I think they really struggled. You know, Tomli is basically
like a new signing, so he was back on the bench.
Speaker 1 (23:39):
The obviously got in trouble last year for some betting
scandals which we don't approve. We improved some fun betting
content if they're doing it illegally like him. My worst
transfer window Wolves, I was really disappointed with Wolves obviously,
like okay, I've just gone.
Speaker 2 (23:57):
Yeah, they didn't replace the losses of Killman and peg
netto they have.
Speaker 1 (24:01):
I think they they got ninety six mil from them
and only spent about half of that, so they didn't
really go for that big fish or a bigger guy
that could come in and make their club a little
bit better. They also got I think it's Johnston from
Krystal Pass who Christapass like as a keeper, No, we
don't want you anymore as a goalkeeper.
Speaker 2 (24:16):
So I don't know. I feel like all they got
was sort of rejects, sort of young.
Speaker 1 (24:19):
Some of the younger guys they got were okay, but
I think they could have spent a little bit more
money and maybe like gone for a bigger fish.
Speaker 2 (24:25):
Nothing great like no Noel Amina on loan. Yeah, a
lot of players from like Celta Vigo Nance obviously. Yeah,
Sam Johnson as well, when they already have he's a
freak so and Sam Johnson already made a mistake in
that in that game last weekend. So look, yeah, they
got rid of Daniel Pedanz on the wing as well.
Speaker 1 (24:47):
Yeah, so you'd say like three or four of their
starters are outs as well out on loan.
Speaker 2 (24:54):
Yeah, well fabulous, who have callous on my side? Now,
I'm leaning towards it. I'm leaning towards it. Yeah, I
don't know.
Speaker 1 (25:00):
I think Wolves could have done a little bit better
in the past. I think they've had sort of big
transfer windows and this one was just really disappointing. And
they're going to be maybe just above that relegation s
over now, but they'll be poor very close as we
saw against Chelsea losing.

Stream last and he did look actually kind of good,
the new striker that they got in online.
Speaker 1 (25:17):
But if he can score a few goals, maybe they'll
be okay. Maybe they'll be okay, but yeah they'll be
fighting relegation. Yeah, sure, all right. Last thing we're going
to do is the signing. So we're going to go
best and worst signing. This one's a little bit of fun.
Best signing in the transfer window, Marcus, This is a
bit harder.

This is really hard. This was hard to do best
and worse. The best signing just based off what we've
seen so far, United to win that won the transfer window.
So I'm going to go to Miches United player, okay,
and I'm going to go that man Manuel Lugate. Especially
what we've seen for Kasimira so far. He was a
fault for at least two to Real Madrid.

Casimira he was like the best in the world and
now he's just gone effect.

could chucked in here. Like I thought Lenniro was a

just really like him as a signing because I like
he's sort of two way running. You can do a
bit of everything, can score goals, can defend really really strongly.
So for me, but I like that. Yeah, the two
goals does help because I might not have put him

in the year if he didn't start so well. What's
your worst signing?

Worst signing? This is where it gets a bit funny.
It's been more fun this one. I'll start this one.
Jaden Sancho.

I'm just saying, not even I'm even rode in here,
not even that he's a really really bad player.

He was.

He has been poor probably the last couple of seasons.
He only got two or three goals in the league.

Last year he did, he went on Leo to Brucets
Dorman and then took them to a Champions League one.

But the fact that Chelsea don't need him, I'm just
gonna sort of, yeah, this is my point of why
he's the worst signing. Chelsea now have nine winger options
in their squad. It was like a couple of weeks
ago how he had trying goalkeepers.

There's nine. I had a look at the I think
the top netto Felix and kun Ku Palma. Yeah for Farna,
I know he's not it's a wing of it, Madame
Ak Yeah, Sancho, yeah, that's seven or seven. Yeah, there
was at least seven to nine.

I had to look at like the squad depth on
one of the sites and it said, yeah, seven to
nine wing options.
Speaker 2 (28:19):
So James Anto, all right, pretty big, pretty big name.
We don't need him.

Get a defender. So that's my worst signing. Just Chelsea
in the transferment has really annoyed me. I'm happy that
we got Joe Felix back and a few other players.
Has been really good, but we need a defender. The
defense has been the problem. Even when we Chelsea beat
Wolf six to two, those two goals were.

Way too easy.

So I'm a bit worried about Chelsea's defense and getting
Jayson Sancho in. So sorry Jane and Santo for being
worse signing, but he just don't help Chelsea I'm with
you there.

But the only greater, like the shining light, yeah, from
that transfer, is that the future fee he is only
twenty million. Okay, well that helps it con go to
twenty five with based off clauses and bonuses, when he's
probably worth more than that. When men I have born
for seventy million and they're going to sell them for
us for twenty okay, that's the only shining light. But
I do agree with you, like just the way too

many options don't. It's unnecessary, unnecessary.

So yeah, probably bit harsh to Sancho, but yeah, that's
what I'm just as a Chelsea fan.

I'm going to show some hate to the smaller clubs
and Leicester ah poor or Leicester signing. Jordan I you
who we thought was that Crystal Palace for about seventy
five years.

He was. It was also at Swansea before that, in
twenty seventy he was.

But yeah, only Jordan, I You've look five million for
a thirty two year old on a two year deal.
It's just just screams mediocrity.

seasons we've got four or less goals.

So they're like, oh, we'll just take a punt. But

you already signed for Tahoo. You've got that other promising
young winger yep as well in the squad, and you've
already got VARDI like, yeah, signing for the experience in
the Premier League. But you're Varty there, who's had plenty

on this thirty million for Oli Skip was yeah, no, right,

there's been very weird ones. Yeah, I forgot about that.

like they've got the obviously the first win against Fulham
the opening day which they kind of scraped through that.
They just got over the one one nil, Yeah, terrible
against Brighton, deservedly losers in that game, and then got
absolutely thrashed Bondpool at Old Trafford. I don't think like

you can grasp how big that rivalry is and how
embarrassing it is to lose three nil at home to Liverpool.
Speaker 1 (02:17):
Well, even when they've sort of been poor maybe last
year the year before that was pretty strong, but they're
always good at home. There was those stats of for ages.
Even though they just scrape out a draw or scrape
out a win like a one near win like in
the first week, they wouldn't lose, they wouldn't lose, whereas
that one even if they lost one or two near
of Liverpool be like all right, Liverpool just that class above, yep,
but three nil is a bit unacceptable for easily been five.

I know five, six, and then another one we've written
down here ten harg Out.

It might be way too early.
Speaker 1 (02:43):
It's only been three patch weeks. We're only at the
first international break. There is markets on Betfair for that,

I don't know about Muchet. Yeah, yeah, it's too definitely
too early in the season. But if things continue the
way they're going, I think ten hard by Christmas, Christmas
could be gone if they continue to struggle this badly. Look,
they just have no identity of play their play style

Yeah well even Yeah, the few of the older managers
were saying about how they've obviously won trophies and I
think that's why he's hung around. But those trophies aren't
those big trophies that yeah, like, that's not that shouldn't
help you stay around, I think. But yeah, they were
embarrassed in the Champions League last time around. Yeah, so
they want to get back to that. But at the
moment it's going to be a few years off. I

think for that next one around the grounds that everyone's
talking about, the declan Rice red card. This was very
funny as a Chelsea fan, I was just laughing my
head off seeing Arsenal draw. I've almost said lose one
all but I would have felt like I lost, But
it was definitely a draw one or to Brighton, what.

Do I think was it a second yellow?
Speaker 1 (03:49):
First look, I said, no way, that's yellow yep, And
then sort of looking back at it again, it probably
was a yellow. And it was just unlucky that was
his second year because both yellows were probably there. But
then the other side of it, he got kicked in
the leg and who was Lan literally kicked declarly nice
in the leg wasn't going for the ball at all,
I don't think, and the ref sort of fell for

that and didn't give him a yellow card.

So I feel like we're on a similar page to
that one. Yeah, I'm similar to you. I think it
definitely was the second yellow. Okay, So Declan Rice says
right to be sent off okay, although in saying that,
with the consistency, Rice should have got sent off with
a second yellow. Yeah, then Jeah Pedro should have got
a yellow card for bridden the ball away and Velman
(04:33):
probably arguably should have got a Yllow card as well,
just blatantly kicked him. Yeah, all the Arsenal fansking saying
it was horrendous decision. Horrible decision. It wasn't it's like lateral,
the Lord's there, it's just the inconsistency, like Je Pedro
should have got one as well.
Speaker 1 (04:47):
Yeah, well, I think almost every couple of games there's
like a moment where a player kicks the ball away,
scuffs a little mark or things like that, and the.
Speaker 2 (04:55):
Because was smart with because he went to go play
it quickly. Yep, put the ball down quickly, and then
that's when Ross sort of just not play. It was
done by Jack and Rice obviously very experienced play.
Speaker 1 (05:04):
It was because if it was only not only yell,
you'd be like, all right, fine. He was just sort
of just trying to stop the play. He's only yellow.
You gotta be smarter than that when you're don't take
any risks. So at the end of the day, you're right.
Speaker 2 (05:14):
In the letter of the lawyer, was right, but just
inconsistency in the first ever read card. Really he's a
good boy. Missed the match against Tottenham in the North
London Derby, which is huge Arsenal will have probably Thomas
Party and Georgino.

Yeah, that's our primetime Australian time as all eleven pm,
so I'm very not prime time, but for Premier League
standard it's bet as good as we get something excited
for that next one in around the grounds Lester, I
think it's just today this morning won their appeal against
the f FP charge, so they'll lose no points, so
they'll be really happy with that.

But a lot of people are.
Speaker 1 (05:48):
Questioning the inconsistency with people going over the financial yeah
fair play, So I feel.
Speaker 2 (05:54):
Like, shouldn't it just be like the rules are if
you if you don't if you make a loss of
more than one hundred or so million, I know exactly
because but surely it's just night and day which side
you're on the fence, and then if you're on the
wrong side.
Speaker 1 (06:08):
For example, Everton they were they were on the wrong side.
I think it was only by a little bit, but
they got charge points yeah twice.
Speaker 2 (06:13):
So yeah, I know there's a lot of other stuff
that goes in about like when funds were processed and
and whatnot. But the Premier League weren't very happy that
Leicester good away with this. But look that helps them
with their relegation battle. They'll probably be safe now. They'll
still be in and around relegation, but yeah, easier without
the points deduction.

He's just unbelievable. Earling Harland continues to break left records, left, right.

Haven't has eight hat tricks in sixty nine games. Here's
a robot. What is the hat trick? Almost seven every
seven or eight game game. That is unbelievable. The Premier
League has never seen this type of type of game
play before. Yeah, tell us about the the players in
and around Harland Tatrick. I'll give a few stats which
I don't often do.

Say, in and around Harland is well well cleared.
Speaker 1 (07:16):
No one is close to this, So this is I'm
going from the players that are above Harland in hatricks.
So you've got Harland is eight hat tricks in sixty
nine games, unbelievable. Next is Robbie Fowler nine hat tricks
in three hundred and seventy nine games, so that's three
hundred and ten more.

Games like these are the greats of the game.
Speaker 1 (07:30):
Then you are Alan Sherop arguably the goat eleven hat
tricks in four hundred and forty one games. And then
Aguero is on top twelve hat tricks in two hundred
and seventy five games. So on this at the moment,
Harland's on track to beat Aguero's record by like one
hundred and something games.

Yep, and we're ever going.

To see a playlays He's like someone commented the other day,
I think it was one of our social posts for
another one saying Harland is turning the Premier League into
a farmers league just when Man City played. Obviously isn't
a farmers league, and his goals are amazing, but he
just can't stop scoring.

I feel bad for the people who didn't pick him
in fantasy either. Idiots got him, You've gotta be kicking yourself.
But Aguero is averaging is the next best averaging. Yeah,
hat trick every just over like twenty.
Speaker 1 (08:13):
Games, which is still great because he's it's just still
incredible about to a season.
Speaker 2 (08:16):
Yeah, but every seven eight games unreal. Well, he's already
got two hat tricks Harland in three games. He's got
the most amount of goals as every single he's got
every single club this season. Chelsea and Arsenal have seven goals. Yep,
Harland has seven goals. For the rest have less than seven.
It just shows how crazy that guy is. He should

he should just have his own like Premier League table.
He gets the wins and then like the whole difference
and things like that. Just harleague. Can we just like
take out Harland's goals from City, Yeah? Please, that that
can be there. That can be there instead of a
points deduction. Take away Harland's goals and their results from
Harland's goals. That's a fair points deduction in my opinion.

Oh my god, that's that's Oh in terms of all
the one hundred and fifty charges, I don't mind that
if they take out they might be last without just

bit more fun as well, best transfer window, that's our
next segment here we can go. We'll start with the team,

The best transfer window for me has been Manchester United. Yep,
I just yeah. I think the additions that they brought in,
especially with Tis Delitt he's Lenny Ero at C and
a half. That was a big issue for them. With
obviously Veran now leaving he was horrible last season. The
Sandra Martinez also injured for basically the majority of the season,
so you're stuck with Harry McGuire and Johnny Evans. Really

he looks about fifty two. But they've added a lot
of depth in there now, so look that their third choice,
fourth choice defenders are now better than that's Evans, and
I think there's a lot of experience in there which helps.
And even in defense, defensive midfield, Kasimira's looked horrendous. Emmanuel

Lagarte coming in from from Sporting Lisbon, from PARHG from
was that Sporting Lisbon. He's a very good player. He's
a very good young player. So I think he's in
alone with the option to buy unless they bought him,
just straight up permanently. Yep, they've been They've done really well.
So it was either between them or the team that
you're a going to say, Yeah, I don't mind menu.

I think they finishing eighth obviously last year they needed
some struck. I think the litt Is is a beast.
I think that's a great sign my best though I've
said it. I think I said it even a couple
of weeks ago. West Ham I think they were awesome.
They obviously finished ninth last year. To sort of hold
that position in a really competitive middle part of the
Premier League, they need to get a few signings. So
they've got full Krug. I know he's older.

I think he's thirty one now, but he's a good finisher.
I think he can still have a good season throughout
the Euros. He was great great in the Euros. He
got some of all from Leeds. I think he's a
beast so quick. He's going to be fun to watch
for west Ham. One Besaka. I know that he's had
a really up and down career. Obviously when I saw it,
I saw him live at Pallace and I said, this
guy's the best player on the pitch. In Zaha was
still playing I said, this guy's the best player in

the pitch. He went to man You obviously he's cooked
it a little bit, but the skill he has, he
can still be a really good breath play more of
a lockdown sort of fullback.

And I think at Manchester United they wanted him to
push push up a little bit more, which doesn't really
suit his game.

But west Ham probably sit back a bit more than
Manu anyway, so I think that'll work with it, right.
I think Killman from Wolves, he's been really good. So
I think they've literally got four signings there that really
boost all positions. So I think west Ham are going
to be my best this season. I think do they
get any form of Europe? Is it seventh for the
Conference League?

Yeah, they'll push for seventh. I think I think even
to ninth is their sort of range. Yeah, and they.

Yeah, I agree. I think I think they'll still be

On the other side of it. The worst window, who
are you going with? The worst? For me has to

tough to spend some of them. But they also completed
the permanent transfer of Lewis Hall, who was from going
from Chelsea. That was twenty eight million. That's a lot

of money. That's a lot of money when you don't
really want to spend elsewhere. They were linked with Mark
way here for so so long, and then Anderson from
Palace obviously went to Fulham. So then Palace like, we
don't really want to get rid of our best two defenders,
so we're going to keep Mark way here.

Smart, you guys, you're in the mud. Yeah, and just
not to have backup option there, like they could have
signed tossing at a Rabo on a free like Chelsea did.
And there was another another defender that went pretty cheaply.

you could have gone in for him at least sign
a few more players that. Yeah, just to improve they
needed to improve off last, especially defensively. Like the defensive

options now, like you're playing dan Byrne. Obviously Fabian Shi suspended,
so you had dan Byrne cooked a meal Craft at
center back. And look, you've been under their ownership now
for two three seasons and you're not really buying anyone. Yeah,
I think they really struggled. You know, Tomli is basically
like a new signing, so he was back on the bench.

The obviously got in trouble last year for some betting
scandals which we don't approve. We improved some fun betting
content if they're doing it illegally like him. My worst
transfer window Wolves, I was really disappointed with Wolves obviously,
like okay, I've just gone.

Yeah, they didn't replace the losses of Killman and peg
netto they have.

I think they they got ninety six mil from them
and only spent about half of that, so they didn't
really go for that big fish or a bigger guy
that could come in and make their club a little
bit better. They also got I think it's Johnston from
Krystal Pass who Christapass like as a keeper, No, we
don't want you anymore as a goalkeeper.

So I don't know. I feel like all they got
was sort of rejects, sort of young.

Some of the younger guys they got were okay, but
I think they could have spent a little bit more
money and maybe like gone for a bigger fish.

Nothing great like no Noel Amina on loan. Yeah, a
lot of players from like Celta Vigo Nance obviously. Yeah,
Sam Johnson as well, when they already have he's a
freak so and Sam Johnson already made a mistake in
that in that game last weekend. So look, yeah, they
got rid of Daniel Pedanz on the wing as well.

Yeah, so you'd say like three or four of their
starters are outs as well out on loan.

I think Wolves could have done a little bit better
in the past. I think they've had sort of big
