Speaker 1 (00:05):
Welcome to this week sixteen postgame edition of the From
the Podium podcast. I'm Gabe Kolera. The Browns fell to
the Buffalo Bills at Huntington bank Field on Sunday by
the final score of twenty three to twenty. On this episode,
you'll hear from head coach Kevin Stefanski, quarterback shud Or Sanders,
and defensive end Miles Garrett. We'll start with head coach
Kevin Stefanski, who gave an injury update following the game.
Speaker 2 (00:23):
Okay, Quinn Shawn had an ankle dislocation, fractured his fibula.
Obviously very disappointed for the young man. He will bounce back.
I have zero doubt about that with him. But you know,
obviously you never want to see that with any of
your guys, and that was so he'll he'll get surgery.
He'll be back in no time. I know that the
(00:46):
game just frustrated, want to close out, want to get
a win versus a good football team at our place,
and we didn't do it at the ends.
Speaker 3 (00:51):
That's the frustrating part.
Speaker 2 (00:52):
Love how the team fights, which I'm not surprised that's
who those guys are. So we'll look at it, we'll
learn from it and we'll get ready for next week.
With that, I'll take any questions coach.
Speaker 4 (01:00):
I know this question is priam more suited Anthony watch film,
but just quickly, how would you assess today's game?
Speaker 5 (01:07):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:07):
In total, you know, we ended up minus in the
turnover margin. It's hard to do that versus very good
football team. Obviously, we didn't come away with points at
the end of the half there, which we are operational.
Field Will has been excellent all season long, so I
was disappointing. Then they made their plays. We didn't make
enough at the end, but I give them credit.
Speaker 3 (01:22):
They made their place.
Speaker 6 (01:23):
Kevin the run defense in the first half, what do
you see there? And then what we were able to
clean up in the second.
Speaker 2 (01:28):
Yeah, going into it, you know that's a great run team.
They have good players, good scheme. James Cook is outstanding,
so we knew that's a challenge. We made some adjustments
throughout the game. Obviously we feel like we can play
better early. Give them credit, but yeah, there was a
couple of things that we can certainly do better.
Speaker 7 (01:43):
Then you guys lose Quinn, Sean but Traveon and Raheem,
just what did they the way they came in sort
of picked up you.
Speaker 5 (01:51):
Know that running back. Yeah, guys that we trust.
Speaker 2 (01:53):
I think I've told you guys many times, who's ever
in there, we trust them, And I say that because
they're with us, and they're in every meeting and they're
practice and sometimes you don't get those opportunities, but you're
on the team because we trust you. So not surprised
to see those guys come through. A couple of really
big plays with Trevion and I thought Rocket ran really hard.
Speaker 8 (02:09):
You talk about Shure Sanders, just how we played, and
he also had to leave with Pinky and try and
come back and how.
Speaker 3 (02:13):
Did that all go?
Speaker 2 (02:14):
Yeah, he battled like he does. I thought he made
some unbelievable plays with his feet today, which I thought
going into the game that may be the case. He'll
fight through injuries. Nothing little finger injury is not going
to keep him out of there. But always room to
grow for a young player. But really proud of how
he felt.
Speaker 5 (02:26):
Kevin.
Speaker 9 (02:26):
What did they do to turn up a pass r
us pressure there in your last couple of possessions.
Speaker 2 (02:34):
Yeah, I don't know if there's one thing specifically, Jeff
that they did, but we'll look at it and listen,
you're gonna be in games where you got to go
eighty five or ninety or whatever it is to go
win it, and we'll look at ways that we can
be better as an offense.
Speaker 7 (02:48):
There, Kevin, was it always? I mean, were you always
going to go for it there on that fourth down?
Speaker 5 (02:52):
What was that?
Speaker 2 (02:53):
It depended on what the distance was, obviously, but felt
like where it was it two felt good about keeping
our offense on the field. You're gonna have to play
us to beat this team, and I felt good about
going for it there.
Speaker 3 (03:03):
Didn't happen in that moment.
Speaker 4 (03:04):
What did you see, you know, going against this Bill's
team that you thought played to your advantage.
Speaker 2 (03:10):
Yeah, I mean, I have a ton of respect for
Sean and his staff and that football team. They're very
good on offense. They have a great quarterback as we
know who made his plays today. Defensive attack is really difficult.
Special teams. Their kickoff return it's been outstanding. So you know,
going into a game with a team that has the
record that they do, you're gonna have to go play aggressive.
You're trying to go take the ball away from them.
We didn't have any takeaways, which wasn't for a lack
of trying. It's just they did a nice show.
Speaker 8 (03:32):
Wasn't able to get the staff record today.
Speaker 2 (03:35):
Yeah, I think you know the record and we talked
have talked a lot about it, Mary Kay. We don't
talk a lot about it when we're in the building
and we're getting ready to play. That's really not our focus.
It's not Miles's focus. You guys have talked to him
at length about this. He's trying to just play good
football to help the team win.
Speaker 5 (03:50):
Is that what you said? Is that why coaches said
go for it on at fourth and two?
Speaker 4 (03:55):
Yeah, because you felt that you tend to tie.
Speaker 8 (04:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (04:00):
I think in that moment where I felt good about
the play we had up, felt good about the where
we are on the football field. And again, in these
games against really good football teams, you're gonna have to
go make plays in those in those moments, we didn't.
And it's not you know, we didn't execute or it
wasn't a good play call, we just didn't. We didn't
didn't make a play in that moment. But I feel
good about I feel good about the process there, And uh,
(04:22):
that's unfortunate, but you're gonna have to go make plays
if you think you're gonna go beat the Buffalo Bills.
Speaker 3 (04:26):
They're good football team. Should I ad a.
Speaker 6 (04:27):
Couple of passes bad and including at one interception, do
you see anything on there that why.
Speaker 3 (04:32):
That was the case.
Speaker 2 (04:34):
We'll always teach off of those, and anytime that there's
bad at ball, you'll look at your eyes.
Speaker 3 (04:38):
And see if there's things you can do differently.
Speaker 2 (04:40):
Other times, we have Shelby Harris and our team that
these defensive tackles are very good at when they're not
maybe going to get home. They know when to match
the hand of the quarterback and those type of things.
Speaker 3 (04:48):
So we'll learn from those.
Speaker 8 (04:49):
Just how good hassepinchan for you, been for you guys
all season long? And what has he meant to the team?
Speaker 2 (04:54):
Yeah, Cubs been incredible, great teammate, runs hard, cares about
this game, cares about the right things. So I'm disappointed
for him. He's disappointed, but he's not somebody that I
worry about.
Speaker 7 (05:04):
Hill bounce back Kevin the on the field at the
end of the half, just low snap and Coury not
able to handle it.
Speaker 2 (05:11):
Obviously we didn't come through, but this is a group
of specialists that have been outstanding all season long. They
work really well together. We weren't at our best in
that moment.
Speaker 9 (05:19):
Do you think the effort overall was better today than
last week?
Speaker 5 (05:23):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (05:24):
I don't think about it in those terms. We're excited
about any opportunity we have in front of us.
Speaker 6 (05:30):
I know we've talked a lot about Harold Drought the year,
but you know he gets a touchdown on the catch
and then what has one on the run at Diggie
set the team's rookie record. So just how good has
he bannoned the versatility d shows for?
Speaker 2 (05:42):
Yeah, I think he's been great, But I go back
to he's been the same guy every single day.
Speaker 3 (05:46):
He works really really hard at his craft.
Speaker 2 (05:49):
And I say that because if you're going to be
moved around the formation, you're going to hand the ball
to him and those and you're gonna put him in
motion then bring him back on the slide for the
keeper touchdown.
Speaker 3 (05:56):
Those are all things.
Speaker 2 (05:57):
That require a guy to be locked into a game plan,
and his verse satility is directly tied to his intelligence
and how hard he works at this.
Speaker 8 (06:03):
Sudor in some ways even exceeding your guys expectations in
terms of his mobility and his elusiveness at all.
Speaker 2 (06:12):
Yeah, I wouldn't you know, I'm not going to frame
it that way, Mary kay, other than to say that's
part of his gain. That's one of the things that
you saw on tape when he was in college is
the ability to make plays that were off schedule.
Speaker 5 (06:24):
That opening drive. What did you guys just kind of like.
Speaker 2 (06:28):
Descriptive portion of we stayed out of third down, just
kind of we were very efficient on first and second down,
which is is huge. I thought a bunch of different
guys touched the ball, but yeah, really well executed, well
called by Tommy.
Speaker 5 (06:43):
Was another tough moss. What's the message to the team
moving forward.
Speaker 2 (06:46):
Yeah, all these losses are tough, none of them are easy.
So it hurts, but we'll be right back at it.
We'll be fighting next week. Okay, thank you.
Speaker 1 (06:53):
Up next quarterbacks or Sanders.
Speaker 4 (06:55):
So, you know, from AHBCU to Power five now to
the NFL, it has been most to you during this
NFL process.
Speaker 10 (07:04):
I would say each step, each step being the most
helpful for me because a lot of different perspectives, you know,
it's a lot of different viewpoints and different aspects of life,
you know, and I feel like everything you know you
gotta go through. You know, everything, every moment you gotta
you gotta, you gotta live through. And each of those
(07:25):
are building blocks to help you throughout whatever situation you're
in and help you be thankful.
Speaker 6 (07:31):
Also, what happened with the finger and what was that
whole episode.
Speaker 3 (07:36):
Like for it?
Speaker 11 (07:37):
I don't know.
Speaker 10 (07:38):
You can look online to see my finger look like
if you if you want, I'm sure they got the
details on there.
Speaker 11 (07:44):
I don't know.
Speaker 10 (07:45):
My pinky is just like I put in my hand warm.
I'm like, why is my pinky not getting cold? I mean,
why is it not getting warm? Then I got through
Quinchewan like a little route down there. Then it like
kind of a little high and I was like, so
then it was over with And then I did everything,
(08:08):
you know, to to come back because I ain't want
to put like dealing in a bad situation, you know,
like since when I was a two, and like, it's tough.
It's tough to play that role because you don't get reps,
you don't get anything. And I was talking to him myself, Bro,
my bad, bro for putting you in that situation. You know,
because it's not ideal and this and I want, you know,
(08:29):
him to be prepared whenever, uh he was out there,
you know.
Speaker 11 (08:33):
So so that's really how all that went.
Speaker 3 (08:36):
Give me a second with it.
Speaker 10 (08:39):
At that point, like I just had to accept fate.
I just accepted, like, okay, just what it is. I
can't think about it. I can't like complain about it.
Speaker 5 (08:50):
Throw the de ball because it's picky.
Speaker 11 (08:54):
No, I don't think.
Speaker 5 (08:56):
Nah, what did you see it now in the build?
Speaker 11 (08:59):
I want to I want to back if I couldn't
throw what.
Speaker 4 (09:02):
Did you see in the bills of offense on tape
that played to your advance? It seemed like you was
in the rhythm early in the game. So what was
some of the things you was able to capitalize off of?
Speaker 10 (09:09):
It's really just building off last week. It's building off
getting to the checkdowns when you see it, pull it,
take it, you know, playing in rhythm, like all those
different things.
Speaker 5 (09:17):
Like I.
Speaker 10 (09:19):
Lurking and I learned and I proved it myself, you know,
like I can do that, you know, like that's the
aspect of my game that I gotta be more consistent with.
But I can see that, and like even the last
drive for example, and I respect and I was telling
them like during the game, like I respect their defense.
I respect kind of like they coaching and how it
(09:39):
was because if you understand, it was kind of like
Tampa too, that backer, that my backer running walling, you know,
taking that middle because we had a through route, a
vertical route from the inside. Then we had a dagger coming.
But then as soon as he and I'm like, okay, cool,
I got the dagger, Like I got the dagger, but
(10:02):
then he peeled off and then was waiting on that dagger.
So by the time I went there, then it was
just it was just hard to get back down.
Speaker 11 (10:11):
I ran out of time.
Speaker 10 (10:12):
So that's just like in those situations, it's like you
gotta tip your cap to them, like that's the whole why,
because if I was playing, if you're playing, like that's
the ideal coverage you want to dagger in, you know
what I'm saying. But anything else, you know, we would
have got to the checkdown, We would have got to
there quicker. But that's the why of you didn't just
(10:33):
take that quick completion because.
Speaker 11 (10:37):
It was there. But that's good coaching. That's a good
coaching when you.
Speaker 7 (10:41):
See Quene go down. Just first off, what's going through
your head in that moment? How do you as the quarterback?
You try to kind of get the rest of the
guy's back up because you know it's obviously made and
somebody going through.
Speaker 10 (10:53):
Well, it really hurt that quinch Sewn went down. Like
quin Sewn, me and con Shawn was in the room
talking yesterday like eleven eleven, eleven thirty, just like just
about life, just about everything because the type of person
he is, and I know he's been through a lot,
and just and just building that bond, building up bond
with the rookie class, like having that beating, you know,
(11:15):
the new energy, you know, and kind.
Speaker 11 (11:17):
Of maintain on track, stay on track with everything.
Speaker 10 (11:21):
So knowing that he went down with that, it was
definitely it was definitely sad. It was definitely sad because
I'm like, backside, I can't throw this slant. They're covering it.
You know, they like too, I can't throw this slant.
He heavy inside. So yeah, so that was my only option,
(11:43):
you know, that was my option with throwing it. So
I like, I feel bad because.
Speaker 11 (11:47):
Like I do it, you know, but yeah, truth for yeah,
it hurts, It hurts when people.
Speaker 7 (11:54):
When sometimes the quarterbacks take sax, people just say, oh
he's holding the ball too bom.
Speaker 4 (11:59):
But to your point about it and the covered adjustments
and that sort of what context do people miss?
Speaker 10 (12:03):
Sometimes if you if you're in a world of pleasing people,
you'll never be happy, you know. So I'm thankful that
that I was able to prove to myself, you know,
that that that I am able to play on time
to maybe step up in the pocket, like I'm able
to do that. Like you know, you gotta speak life
in to yourself because if you look external for that,
it's not gonna happen, you know. So, like you just
(12:26):
can't live in a world of thinking about other people's opinion,
you know, like you could take everything with a grain
of salt, like okay, cool, Like yeah, now I should
have got to that checkdown. But the why, what's the reason?
So it's like, who am I to just sit there
and argue back and forth you know about that?
Speaker 11 (12:46):
Like that's me.
Speaker 10 (12:47):
I gotta recognize, you know, I gotta recognize that and
get back down, you know. So that's just building on experiences,
building on time. That's building. So I look at those moments, okay,
like you got me. If you're gonna give me, give
me now, you know, because I know, I know in
the future all these are built on black seats, are
all lessons that I'm I'm definitely putting in my bag
and gonna grow from.
Speaker 9 (13:09):
Do something to increase or change their pass rush in
the last two series, because it seemed like they were
jumping on you pretty quickly.
Speaker 11 (13:18):
I'm not sure.
Speaker 10 (13:19):
I just know I just gotta probably just get the
ball out a little quicker, That's it.
Speaker 4 (13:24):
Yeah, I was looking with the mindset on that fourth
and two obviously could have been a plus situation.
Speaker 5 (13:29):
You guys go for it on fourth down? What was
going through your mind?
Speaker 3 (13:32):
A entire.
Speaker 11 (13:36):
Q kind of like explain what happened? Like I just
played a lot of players.
Speaker 5 (13:40):
Right decisions go forward on fourth and two.
Speaker 10 (13:45):
I know you can't be asking me that question, man,
Come on, man, we can't. We can't see that. That's
like the thing like if we want to change, if
we want to change the NIR, change change the franchise,
if we want to like help, we gotta speak life.
You can't those type of things is like separate us.
Like a lot a lot of the players like get
(14:06):
these type of questions, and then we want to be
working with y'all. We want to be proactive. But like
when you ask questions or when questions are asked to
us players and it's like you pin and stuff against
each other, It's like, come on, now, you know, it's
like it's like a thing in the locker room, Like
you know, we're not gonna be able to talk to
them for real, We're not gonna be able to give
(14:26):
them what they need, like because that separates the team
that don't they don't that don't that don't help anything.
They don't help anything in any situation, no matter how
you answer it.
Speaker 5 (14:40):
And then I don't know who else to working with
fan and Herod fans. How does that seem like you
had played scripted?
Speaker 4 (14:49):
And then uh, did the Bills try to take them
away later in the game because you're very effective with
him early on?
Speaker 11 (14:55):
Yeah, I think, I think. I think. I think a.
Speaker 10 (15:02):
Lot of teams try to take a lot of teams
try to track us, attack us in different ways, you know,
whether that's exotics, whether that's precious, whether that's doubling somebody,
whether that's something And now now thinking about that, that
fourth and two, that fourth and two. You know that
(15:22):
great defense, great everything. So you look at that front
size safety, You look at him, and then you gotta
see where he buzzed down and everything happened so quick
to where if y'all was on the same that takes
that takes. That takes time for y'all to be on
the same page and know, okay, this a certain type
(15:43):
of route. You know it's going to develop a little bit.
But but in.
Speaker 11 (15:46):
Certain situations you could speed up and you can get
there quicker.
Speaker 3 (15:49):
You know.
Speaker 10 (15:50):
So that's about seeing in the same lens. That's about
the time on task. That's about a lot of different
things and you can't them. Process is just something you're
just gonna have to be able to grind through, you know.
Speaker 7 (16:02):
How do you A lot of the conversation this past
week was about you completing more passes, and you did
that today, So is that the theme of the practice
week for you?
Speaker 10 (16:11):
No, it's just it's just it's just a mental It's
just a mental thing. It was kind of like, understand
that winning and and and in this game in the
league is gonna.
Speaker 11 (16:25):
Play by play, So you got to play each play
for what it.
Speaker 10 (16:28):
Is and don't try to do a lot, you know,
and try to and try to take what's there and
try to do that. So oftentimes like in the past
now because in the past, now I want to win,
you know, so I'm trying to get to it instead
of like slow down, you know, take the checkdown, take
(16:49):
what's in front.
Speaker 11 (16:50):
You can take the easy stuff. Do what you gotta do.
Speaker 10 (16:52):
And uh, as the game, what goes on, and as
time goes on, you'll be able to You're gonna be
able to chop it down, You're gonna be able to
move the ball, keep getting complete.
Speaker 11 (17:00):
So it's just a mentality. It's just something like that.
Speaker 10 (17:04):
I just had to like focus on mentally, you know,
in the in then aspect of when it gets to it.
Speaker 7 (17:12):
You said, the why you talk about the why a
why today is that maybe the biggest thing, the biggest
thing you've you've started to kind of grasp over the
course of these five starts, is the why of of
what happened in the last play and you know, change
it and going forward.
Speaker 10 (17:30):
Yeah, I think I think when you explain the why,
then then you were able to understand perspective. So that's
why we you know, even in the quarterback room, it's
like Okay, why'd you miss this? Read like this was
the why, this is why I'm thinking? So so at
times like sometimes we gotta put things in the simplest form,
(17:51):
so simplest form to understand the exact thought process and.
Speaker 11 (17:55):
Not assume that's why.
Speaker 5 (17:58):
You know.
Speaker 11 (17:58):
So that's that's that's why.
Speaker 10 (18:03):
I break it down. That's why I say that, because like,
it don't take much. It don't it don't take much.
We're not We're not far from success.
Speaker 5 (18:12):
You know.
Speaker 10 (18:12):
It's it's all of us thinking the same the same
thing at the same time. You know that, that's all
it is. And I think we get closer to it.
I think each and every uh day, each and every game,
each and every rep, you know, we get closer to
every thing. So I'm excited for it. I'm excited for
it for everything. I'm definitely gonna love the outcome of
this game. But I understand it's it's a lot. It's
(18:34):
a lot that.
Speaker 11 (18:34):
We did win.
Speaker 10 (18:35):
You know, we went mentally today and uh that's something
you know, I'll take and move forward.
Speaker 1 (18:40):
Finally, defensive end Miles Garrett.
Speaker 5 (18:41):
What did you guys do second half to kind of
tighten things up in the in the run game.
Speaker 3 (18:48):
Got more physical, tackle better. Guys. We're just I'm making
the plays and we know we can make We were
just letting him bounce off of the first one and
then he was getting free. Know that's what the run
game is is being in the right spot In one two.
Speaker 6 (19:06):
Miles said, play where Josh end up getting sacked at
the water and you got.
Speaker 5 (19:10):
A half forward? Did you know, like right away what
how it was gonna be?
Speaker 3 (19:14):
No, man, I wanted to get another regardless. You know,
I felt like that was a big player in the game,
and you know we're gonna march down and get some points.
So I was happy about that. But whether Mason got
or I got it, that didn't That didn't bother me.
It was just the fact that the play was made.
I was proud of him for for being there at
the right time. So we just needed more.
Speaker 5 (19:37):
What were you thinking as you saw Josh start to retreat.
Speaker 3 (19:41):
I saw his eyes get big when he followed me,
so I knew he recognized who it was. So he
started to I tel the other way, and then he slipped,
and then I slipped. So I was thinking this could
this could be, you know, the the one to tie it.
But end up, you know, end up in say half.
Speaker 9 (19:58):
Hey, Miles, you know when you went through that trade request,
you said you didn't care about records.
Speaker 5 (20:06):
Oh that's the Hall of Fame, all that stuff. You
just wanted to win.
Speaker 9 (20:10):
So with two games to go and you guys are
three and twelve, what's it been.
Speaker 5 (20:15):
Like for you?
Speaker 3 (20:16):
Next question?
Speaker 6 (20:18):
When you see Quinn Shaan go down the way he did,
I know that happens in this game, but how much
do you feel for him?
Speaker 3 (20:25):
And you know, a young guy having a kind of
years having young guy is tough man. You can tell,
he loves to tell he wants to be great, and
he's always you know, come up to me or some
of the other old, older guys, some of the veterans
and you know, just trying to get a little bit
of knowledge here and there. And someone who just has
that kind of passion for the game and dogging him,
(20:46):
who just attacks every single day. I can't be can't
be more excited to play with someone like that. So
I'm you know, praying for on discovery as quick as possible,
and he just takes un necessary steps and he's back
on the field as soon as possible, but healthy as possible.
Speaker 5 (21:02):
Well, do I know Josh can be hard, hard to
bring down. He's getting scramble not and all that stuff,
but his his great decision making the way they were
managing that today, How does how does that help them mitigate.
Speaker 3 (21:14):
What you can do? That's tough, you know, when they're
when they're getting out quick, I mean a lot of
quick game, a lot of a lot of roll in
the pocket the other direction. How A I didn't see
a lot of plays in general in my direction and uh,
I'm sure that's not by a coincidence. So that's tough,
you know, to to try to be you know, disruptive
and and uh, you know, get into a groove and
(21:35):
and work myself into the game when they're doing stuff
like that. So I just got to think about, you know,
how I can I can be more effective and you know, uh,
you don't make make more noise next week?
Speaker 5 (21:47):
How do you keep yourself motivated after tough losses? Uh?
Speaker 4 (21:50):
Having an overall down season for the team, how do
you keeps you motivating for?
Speaker 3 (21:55):
Uh?
Speaker 5 (21:55):
For each week?
Speaker 3 (22:00):
I want to be the best player I can. I
know that I can't take a game off because I
owe it to the guys next to me. No, I
work my ass off in the off season and during
the year to be at the very best shape. And
I'm not gonna waste any of my guy given gifts
because of any record or anything that anybody has to say. No,
I'm gonna go out there and give one hundred percent
(22:20):
for myself, but for my teammates, for my family. I'm
a representation of them. I want them to be proud
of me, and I wanted something to be proud of me.
I lay my head down.
Speaker 7 (22:29):
How much are you noticing more just everything going away
from you?
Speaker 5 (22:33):
You know, them rolling the quarterback.
Speaker 7 (22:35):
I know they've done it before, but is it more
pronounced week by week?
Speaker 5 (22:41):
Is you kind of gotten later this season?
Speaker 3 (22:44):
Yeah? I mean keeper has been a favorite of offenses
of late, and especially against us Anders trying to get
away from us. And you know, I feel like we've
had some pretty good success, you know, pulling it up,
and it's it's harder against you know, guys who are
as mobile and as athletic as as Josh. And you know,
(23:06):
he was also just getting out quick. He wasn't taking
long to uh, you know process and you know, either
throw it away or you don't get this guy a chance,
so that it's tough, but U, we're gonna continue to
see more. Probably won't see too much next week with
with Rogers, but he'll be, you know, getting out quick himself.
Speaker 6 (23:23):
I know you wanted to come in and win, but
is there a level of disappointment that you didn't get
get tech record to day to be so closer?
Speaker 3 (23:32):
Uh? A bit bit for my family, and I wanted
to get it for them. You have some family show
up if they felt like it was gonna be the
game in the moment, and so definitely want to give
him something to to smile about.
Speaker 5 (23:48):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (23:48):
For me, I always keep the main thing, the main thing.
I want to win. You know, it's a close game.
We were a little bit too to lax in the run,
a little step behind and not as physical as we
needed to be. So that's that's the stuff I think about.
And then the record. The record's great, but you know,
the the team record is what keeps me up at night.
(24:09):
You know, the sac record, it'll be, it'll be there.
Speaker 5 (24:15):
Did the Bill show you anything different? How was it?
Speaker 4 (24:18):
Was it anything different from the Bill's home film or
were they pretty much similar to what you saw on
film this week?
Speaker 3 (24:26):
I mean, usually they kind of leave you know, Dianna
on the island and cond just let him do his thing.
You know, he kind of has a unique set, no
unique variety. But the guard was coming down quickly and
then they were throwing the bunch on the on my
side tight so that it was I had to line
(24:48):
up inside and they passed the ball and I really
didn't have an angle to to get to an edge.
So now they threw some a bit of peculiarities at
me to try to keep me on mining and kind
of contain me where they wanted me. And they did
a good job leading the team.
Speaker 5 (25:07):
What's your message moving forward?
Speaker 3 (25:08):
Wanted to mention me, like I said, you play for
the man next year. He's given everything to be here, Donor.
It's a privilege, it's a blessing. I want you to
take it for granted now a single second being in
this league. You know, guys like Quinn Shawn, you know,
had no idea you know that today would end up
how it was, and so you never know when your
(25:30):
mument's gonna come and you never know where it's gonna go.
So keep your head up. I'll be proud of everything
that you do and uh no, just keep moving forward.
Speaker 11 (25:38):
That I'll do it.
Speaker 1 (25:39):
