Speaker 1 (00:01):
Good The Erics of the Day Get Up Mornings with
Eric Campbell. Yes, it is time for the Ericaism other day.
And there's something that my nieces and my daughters and
my son say all the time in they call so
many things random. It's a random called that was a
random requests not it wasn't random. The kitchen was unclean,
and so I just came in your room and said
(00:23):
clean the kitchen. That ain't random. You just didn't realize
you ain't cleaned the kitchen. But here's what I know.
Sometimes random makes people feel safer than realizing this has
always been a question, or this has always been something
that they wanted to ask you. Whether someone is you know,
bringing up a question, because that happens to me a lot.
So if I'm out and i'm I'm walking and you know,
(00:45):
I'm on my way somewhere, people will ask a question
and it can feel random, but it's not random. Plus,
I don't believe I serve a random God. I don't
believe that when I meet someone and there's a connection
or a question that feels kind of out of left field,
it's a surprise to me, but not to God. I
went to an event and there was a session that
I wanted to go to for TV and film. In
(01:09):
that session, I'm way on the side. I didn't walk
down the center aisle. It wasn't like our old c me,
Eric is coming in. I never do that anyway. I
walked in on the other side. But at the end
when they were taking the picture, they realized I was
in the room and called me up front. Well, here's
the part that could feel random. I ended up meeting
two people that work in TV and film and also
(01:29):
are very prominent writers in TV and film, which is
what I'm looking for. So what felt random to me
was a divine assignment and God allowing me to meet
people that I need to have conversation with. And what
I think we should be careful of is opening ourselves
up for miraculous things to happen. And that is not
saying something random might happen today, but something miraculous might happen.
(01:51):
I may meet somebody and see somebody that I did
not know that I was going to see, and it
is a God appointment, you know, like when the person
that you've been talking about you want to reach out
and you see him in your comments on social media.
UGO is that a surprise or God? And you're trying
to get them. You're trying to get me to pay
attention because they were already on my mind. I was
already thinking maybe I should reach out. Maybe they're too busy,
(02:12):
And then you see that. I think God aligns things
for us to follow listen and hear him. But if
you're so busy calling it random, you don't realize God
is putting that on your heart, or God puts you
in that room, or the reason they came up to
you is because God is trying to drop the seeds
of what you're going to become. So you're meeting people
that are in line with your purpose. Stop calling I'm miraculous.
God random if he sees from the beginning from the end,
(02:34):
the person that I'm on meet on Friday is not random,
It's divine. And so I receive that in my life
and I speak that over your life. May the next
meetings and appointments and phone calls and things that feel
random really draw you to understand and help you to
see and know that God knows what he's doing with
your life, and miraculous things are happening. But you open
yourself to give him glory and not just say you
(02:54):
know what's so random, so and so called, That ain't random,
that's divine. I accept that, I receive that, and I
want you to do the same
