Erica Campbell’s Faith Walk, Offense Leads to Rebellion, challenged listeners to examine how spiritual offenses—real or perceived—can spark rebellion if unresolved. Rooted in Scripture, she urged embracing humility and surrender to prevent offense from derailing purpose.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Faith walk right now, Amen, Yes, it is time for
the faith walks of the day, and today I want
to talk about how being easily offended can lead to rebellion. Yes,
the Bible indicates that offense can lead to rebellion. It's
presented as a progressive problem. We're hurt and offense can

(00:22):
lead to a hardened heart, withdrawal from commitment, and ultimately
opening a door to defiance against God's authority. Bible often
highlights how being hurt and offended can be a starting
point for negative trajectory, and it can lead to a
cycle of bitterness and resentment and a desire to distance
oneself from the source of the offense, which can be God,

(00:44):
his people, or his authority. Let me tell you what
the Bible says. Proverbs eighteen and nineteen says a brother
offended is more unyielding than a strong city, and quarreling
is like the bars of a castle. Proverbs nineteen says
good sense makes one to anger, and it is his
glory to overlook an offense. But this is the one

(01:06):
to get you all together. Ecclesiastics seven twenty one and
twenty two. Do not take to heart all the things
that people say let you hear your servant cursing you.
Your heart knows that many times you yourself have cursed others.
The Bible keeping a buck with you. Listen, don't be
getting mad and offended with people. You've done done stuff too.
Learning to release those things out of your heart means

(01:27):
you are not making space for the enemy. Because when
you are offended and you justify the offense, and then
you remember the offense and it fosters and it stirs
in your heart, it can lead to a spirit of
rejection and not wanting to even be bothered with people.
So I pray, I pray that you have a forgiving heart.
I pray that you have the heart that releases that
you don't stay in a place of offense. It is

(01:48):
spiritual and it will hold you hostage because the enemy
will all you, always give you other reasons to be
offended when that is the dominant spirit that's resting on you.
So I pray you get free from that spirit today.
How about that walk and grace, walk and forgiveness And
plus you don't you know you done done stuff too.
That's the word job
