All right, Sybil's back with what we need to know today.
Good morning, Sybil.
Speaker 11 (03:09):
It's Sybil Wilkes with what we need to know. Two
West Virginia National Guard members were ambushed and shot a
close range Wednesday afternoon in Washington, DC, just blocks from
the White House during a high visibility patrol. Twenty year
old Sarah Bestrom later died Thursday from her injuries, while
twenty four year old Andrew Wolf remains in critical condition.
(03:32):
The Afghan national suspect is now in custody. A new
debate over what qualifies as a professional degree. That debate
after the Trump administration redefined the term as part of
its overhaul of student loan repayment rules. The changes include
new borrowing caps and the narrower definition of professional degrees,
(03:53):
limiting them to just ten fields. Critics warned this revised
definition could restrict loan access some graduate healthcare students, like nurses,
though undergraduate borrowing will not be affected. US gas prices
have fallen below the three dollars a gallon mark for
the first time in more than four years, with a
(04:13):
national average dropping two two dollars and ninety five cents
the lowest cents May of twenty twenty one that according
to gas Buddy, the decline is being driven by lower
oil prices, strong refinery production, and softer seasonal demand across
all fifty States Black America two fifty in the spotlight
is on December one, nineteen fifty five, when Rosa Parks
(04:37):
was arrested in Montgomery, Alabama for refusing to give up
her bus seat to a white man, defying the city's
segregation laws. For arrest sparked the Montgomery Bus boycott days later.
Led by a young pastor by the name of Martin
Luther King Junior and organized with the help of the
National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, this boycott
(04:59):
became a pivot the moment in the civil rights movement,
proving the power of collective, non violent protest against racial injustice.
I'm Sybil Wilkes being formed, be impowered in virgins.
Speaker 1 (05:13):
It's Griff's get up sports minute.
Speaker 10 (05:16):
All right, le'mnna just go right into the NFL Monday
Night Football. The Giants at the Patriots tonight. That team
in Columbus beat Michigan twenty seven and nine. I'll talk
about it and my joyge of concerns. LSU is a
new coach, Lane Kiffin from old Miss, and then old
Miss says leave now, won't be doing nothing but the
team in the playoffs. While you're a hole Tiger not
(05:39):
mad at them. The Broncos beat the Commanders in overtime
twenty seven to six.
Speaker 6 (05:46):
It was a wild ending.
Speaker 10 (05:48):
Buffalo just crushed the Steelers in Pittsburgh twenty six to seven.
Green Bay beat Detroit on Thanksgiving thirty one to twenty four.
They thought they were safe. Let's go Packer fans. The Bears,
oh man, they saw about the Eagles in Philadelphia twenty
four to fifteen.
Speaker 6 (06:05):
Chicago's ninety three.
Speaker 10 (06:07):
The coach took a whole big al from the Texans
twenty to sixteen. The Gets beat the Falcons wow twenty
seven to twenty four, and my raiders got lifted like
a fog horn leg horn cartoon.
Speaker 6 (06:20):
When that when he beat that dog with a wood plank.
Speaker 10 (06:23):
Chargers thirty one, Las Vegas fourteen, WE two and ten.
I'm griff and that's your quick sportsmen in Commander's sure
with the birthdays we three and ten, sodemn matter.
Speaker 7 (06:35):
Alright, guys, if you're celebrating your birthday, I'm celebrating. Talk
about that with the Janel monnag with Zoe Kravitz, with
Golden Brooks. Richard Pryor was born today. Lou Ross was
born today you'll never find Come on and if it's
your birthday, birthday, shout outs up in fifteen minutes, Get
a morning if.
Speaker 1 (06:55):
You're listening to Get Up Mornings with Erica Kemp. Sat walking.
Speaker 2 (07:01):
Right now, Amen, who faiths?
Speaker 6 (07:05):
Yes, it is time for the faith walk of the day.
Speaker 7 (07:08):
And I'm so excited because I wrote a play called
Judgment Day and it's for the young people at our church,
and it is to remind them that we must be
ready when He comes. But as I was developing each
character for this play, I thought about how many different
people will stand before God and have different excuses and
different stories and different lives. Of course, you know, when
(07:31):
it's Judgment Day, somebody gotta go to heaven, somebody gotta
go to hell. And so in this play, you'll see
somebody who's over confident because they've been in church their
whole life and they corrected people and told them where
they were wrong, and was always pointing out what somebody
was doing to make sure that they were living right.
Of course, you know when she stood before the throne,
God said, I never had your heart. You were just
religious and went to church all the time, but you
(07:52):
didn't love anybody, and so it just made me think
about people being ready and really giving that message to
this young generation, this new generation. And oddly enough, which
I'm actually not odd excited that my son asked for this.
Speaker 6 (08:07):
My son said, what can we do, you.
Speaker 7 (08:09):
Know, to just kind of give people more, you know,
more into church and Jesus. I said, well, first, let's
talk about heaven because that's where all of this is
supposed to culminate.
Speaker 6 (08:18):
That's supposed to be the whole big deal.
Speaker 7 (08:20):
Right, we make it to see Jesus in the end,
But will people be ready when he comes?
Speaker 6 (08:24):
And I'm super excited about it. I'll tell y'all more.
Speaker 7 (08:27):
As we prepare, because I gotta put somebody in the
role of God and then the role of the angels
and the demons and all of that, and so we've
got to do all the things to prepare for this play,
this church play that the Cali Worship is going to do.
But I'm super excited for a number of reasons. One
that they will get to see this play and really
think about the fact that Jesus is coming in. My
choices will meet me in the end, My decisions, my
(08:50):
words will meet me in the end. Matthew twelve thirty
six says, I tell you, on the day of judgment,
people will give an account for every careless word they speak.
Speaker 6 (09:01):
I know we don't like to read.
Speaker 7 (09:03):
That it at take it at his full face value,
but that's what the word says. And so, uh yeah,
I'm excited for me. I'm excited for the church. I'm
really excited for the young people. He Brews nine seven
says as and just as it is appointed for man
to die once after that comes the judgment.
Speaker 6 (09:22):
So y'all listen.
Speaker 7 (09:24):
I ain't trying to scare nobody, because I know people
don't really like to talk about Jesus is coming.
Speaker 6 (09:27):
But Jesus is coming.
Speaker 7 (09:28):
There is a judgment day, and I hope you're ready
when he comes, all right.
Speaker 6 (09:31):
That is my faith walk.
Speaker 7 (09:33):
Somebody said, ooh, here come, that's early on a Monday. Hey, man,
keep it on your mind because you don't. We don't
know the day of the hour. That's what the word says.
No man knows the day of the hour when the
sun of man shall come. So let's be ready when
he comes, all right. That is my faith walk for
the day. Uh, let's see birthday, Shadow of time eight
seven seven two four two two four two six eight

Speaker 7 (15:35):
We were all coming off of Thanksgiving and my husband
wanted Thanksgiving again on Friday.
Speaker 6 (15:41):
So I cooked all the things again on Friday. I did.
Speaker 7 (15:46):
I mean turkey, ham, mac and cheese, greens, uh, all
the things, black eyed peas, all the things, dressing, because
he wanted it again.
Speaker 6 (15:55):
God bless my husband. But then didn't want it on
some day. Well no, because I went to my mcchaanica's house.
Speaker 1 (16:03):
Oh, I want.
Speaker 6 (16:06):
It Friday. He got fresh food and then ate a
little bit. On Saturday. Sunday he was like, mm hm,
can't do it. I was like, it's still, y'all. Get still.
Speaker 7 (16:15):
My family lived, so we had olive garden on Sunday.
Church was great, had a good time, so listen. I
got my real hair done. I was really excited about
wearing my real hair. But I was also working out,
so those two don't go together. So yeah, it was
pressed on the ends and just nappy on the root.
So we just went on back to just put a
little low wig on. I'm trying to wear my own hair,
(16:36):
but it's it's not working out for my goods. So
y'all pray for me. But I had a good thing
get at church. Krista went back to Atlanta, which made
me sad. She was supposed to be here two three
more days and she's like, I just need to get
to my police and take care of my things.
Speaker 6 (16:49):
Get ground.
Speaker 12 (16:50):
Kids.
Speaker 6 (16:51):
Grown kids don't say get away from us. Grip that
was mine? How was yours? Thanksgiving was wonderful.
Speaker 10 (16:58):
Laniga's daughter and her little homi Will came for the weekend.
Nico from Praise one of two five and his family
came over for Thanksgiving and Friday, I did a really
cool comedy show. I did a show for Wiena thirty
nine Uh. That's for people on recovery. It's like the
(17:19):
big conference that they do. So people were like thirty
nine years sober, thirty one years sober, forty one years sober. Oh,
and Susan Maxwell, who was twenty four years clean since
she listened to us every day. It was a lot
of people that listened to the show. So thank you
Weena for inviting me to that. Then Saturday, I went
to David Busters and Marietta with the University of Michigan
(17:42):
black alumni with my girl. They he's Gallon and I
took a huge al from that team from Columbus, Ohio.
Speaker 6 (17:52):
Yeah, that's what.
Speaker 10 (17:53):
Yeah. So I faced Ala Errigan, was like, I need
a mental health day. She said, we all don't go
to work tomorrow. I was like, oh, I can't have
one in two days. And she was at the gym,
so let me show her lot to that. She was
no nappy roots or other wind loser. Tie.
Speaker 6 (18:13):
I'm a Michigan and Radar fan until I die. What
did you do, Cheryl?
Speaker 2 (18:18):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (18:18):
My team lost too.
Speaker 10 (18:20):
You know.
Speaker 6 (18:20):
We went on the Eastern Shore to my in loves
all the things, all the things. It was so good.
Speaker 7 (18:30):
I mean, we had we were introduced to sweet potato
corn bread. Like sweet potatoes is a big thing on
the Eastern Shore, right, so my my mother in love
usually does sweet potato biscuits, but this time they did
sweet potato corn bread. When I say it was like
sweet potato cake. It was so good, so goad, crab, devil,
eggs and so all things. And I did my stuff
(18:51):
saying yeah, but I rested, y'all That's what I love
about going to the shore is country. It's quiet, It's
just wonderful. When I tell you I slept, I slept
and it was just so good. Now I'm refreshed and
I needed that. Yet I don't know what that is.
Speaker 6 (19:08):
What asleep? See girl about doing it?
Speaker 7 (19:12):
I mean up at one, up at two, up at twelve, y'all,
pray my strength. I'm gonna love delirious, but I'm gonna
get some sleep y'all because I know somebody going.
Speaker 6 (19:19):
Girl getting late, lay down and go to be. I
am leave me a long grip. I am going to
get some rest. Y'all, stick around. We have more on
the way. Erica my fas up next.
Speaker 2 (19:31):
If you're listening to Get Up with Erica Campbell, Real talk,
Real thought of the day.
Speaker 1 (19:38):
Get Up Mornings with Erica Campboll.
Speaker 6 (19:42):
Listen.
Speaker 7 (19:42):
I am a kind person. I'm a forgiving person. I'm
a gracious person. But y'all, I can't take them little liars.
I can't take them people faking and stuck. Snuggling up
and got an agenda and.
Speaker 6 (19:56):
We should hang out. We should hmmm, because people forget
when you talk the people that you talk to.
Speaker 7 (20:04):
They also talk. And so if you can't say it
to my face, then don't say it. But if I
hear it, I'm gonna make a mental note. Now, I'm
not gonna change my character. I know people say, uh,
you know, I'm gonna match that, keep that same energy.
I'm a mature energy. I'm not I'm not gonna match
your evil. I'm not gonna match your messiness. But I
am gonna be aware of who you are. And so
(20:26):
sometimes it is uncomfortable if it's a person that you
maybe had hoping or maybe that you were friends with
and didn't realize that they are. If there's enough value
to their friendship and relationship, then yes, have a conversation.
But if it's not and they just are who they are,
then you know who they are now if you keep
on and I'm gonna tell you I know, And I'm
also gonna tell you, don't talk to me no more.
(20:47):
Because I believe that I can be honest. I'm not
doing the church fake thing, Not gonna do it, not
gonna do it. Not gonna sit in church with somebody
and detest somebody and just get heyesus is John said,
And I don't like no, I'm gonna ask you white
no listen. And this is the fourth time I keep
hearing about your little old comments.
Speaker 6 (21:04):
If you don't like me, that's fine, don't have to.
There's nothing in scripture that says you got to like
Erica Campbell.
Speaker 7 (21:09):
But if you don't watch your mouth a little bit,
you know you can have a whole I don't like
Erica party. Don't invite me, don't invite people that also
love me, because that's coming back. But then here's the
here's the here's the blessing in that if you say
you love me and you hanging out with the people
don't like me, we'll also join that party and leave
this one. And I'm okay, listen, I'm fine. I'm not
(21:29):
gonna cry. I'll be all right. But you're not gonna
keep bringing it in my face. You're not gonna do that.
Speaker 6 (21:34):
I had a situation over the weekend. Can you tell.
Speaker 7 (21:37):
It's all right? We real close to that meeting. No,
we real we real close to that meeting. Keep playing,
keep playing and watch what happend.
Speaker 6 (21:46):
No, No, I'm just kidding.
Speaker 7 (21:47):
I'm always nice, I'm always I'm always pleasant, I'm always me.
I never let I never let people take me out
of my Jesus. I never allow people to make me
miss my purpose.
Speaker 6 (21:57):
You know what I mean. So I'm not gonna let you.
You're not gonna make me lose it, right.
Speaker 7 (22:01):
I told you in the song that got too mad,
I said too much, went too far and almost because
I'm not letting nobody take me there, I'm not so Yeah, y'all,
pray for your girl. Pray for Erica Campbell. Now watch
somebody in my text message who was messing with you.
I'm not gonna say anything. I'll be fine. I'm just
telling you that I'm aware, right, and so for you.
(22:21):
If you are aware, don't sit up and just talk
about it. You decide how you feel in your heart.
If there's enough love relationship, like I said before, you
can have a conversation.
Speaker 6 (22:30):
If not, it is what it is.
Speaker 7 (22:31):
People are messy. There's nothing you could do about it.
It happened in the Bible days, it happened to Jesus,
It's gonna happen to us. We just keep it moving,
keep it pushing, all right. That is the Ericaism for
the day.
Speaker 6 (22:42):
Ladies and gentlemen. I love you, and I mean it what.
I'm not gonna do is.
Speaker 7 (22:45):
Let you get my feathers roughle. I'm a chill and

Yeah.
Speaker 6 (27:53):
I'm enjoying it too.
Speaker 7 (27:55):
We're gonna talk to him a little bit about our money,
getting our money right.
Speaker 6 (27:58):
Plus wake up and win with doctor Willie Jolly.
Speaker 7 (28:01):
His message today, happiness is in direct proportion to gratitude.
Speaker 6 (28:05):
It's true, true, true. Music from Derender Clark cole Otis
Kemp and Jermaine Dolly. Here's my single Do you Believe
in Love? I sure hope you do because I love
you and I mean it. It's Get Up Morning?

Speaker 1 (28:17):
Remember the Lord I go. It is he that gives
the power to get well. It's money Monday Morning.
Speaker 7 (28:24):
It is Money Monday, and we are talking to our
financial expert, Dave Anderson, the business Bully.
Speaker 6 (28:30):
Dave, welcome back to Get Up Morning, Erica.
Speaker 12 (28:33):
Thank you for having me.
Speaker 1 (28:34):
It's December, basis.
Speaker 6 (28:35):
It's December.
Speaker 7 (28:36):
It's December, and this is the time of year when
a lot of people say I'll start after the holiday,
or I'll just get serious in January.
Speaker 6 (28:43):
But you say, it's not a throwaway month. Break that
down for us, absolutely, Erica.
Speaker 8 (28:47):
So December isn't the cool down, it's the closing round.
This is a month when the winners separate themselves from
the wishers. The companies are closing budgets, people are spending,
decision makers are trying to hit their own goals.
Speaker 12 (28:58):
If you check out now, you're basically handing the new year,
same old problems, wrapped in holiday paper.
Speaker 8 (29:04):
So this is where you plug in the leaks, raise
your value, renegotiate and realign. December is not downtime, it's
decision time.
Speaker 6 (29:11):
M I love that.
Speaker 12 (29:13):
I love that.
Speaker 6 (29:13):
So we all know that local leadership that really drives
the dollars.
Speaker 8 (29:17):
Right absolutely, And what people don't understand is when it
comes to making the money.
Speaker 12 (29:24):
That's great.
Speaker 8 (29:24):
Everybody has the capability of making money. When you have
local leadership, they can determine how much of that money
you keep. And so you have to be actively involved.
Find out not what the party is, but what the
platforms are and those policies that are going to impact
your wilet for you and your family.
Speaker 6 (29:43):
That's good, Dave big Homy.
Speaker 10 (29:45):
What should people do right now if they want to
end the year strong properly?
Speaker 12 (29:49):
All right, gris so three things. The first thing is you.
Speaker 6 (29:51):
Need to audit your year.
Speaker 12 (29:53):
We need to keep what works and cut what does it.
Speaker 8 (29:55):
In other words, TDJ fits needs to be and to
scard the bones. You want to play with precisions, not
vibes numbers. You want to know exactly where everything is.
You want to make sure that you have all your
stuff budget in a real way and you know where.
Speaker 12 (30:12):
Every dime is going. And three, you want to execute
early don't wait to become different. Move now.
Speaker 8 (30:19):
Momentum isn't something you find in January, it's something you
build in December.
Speaker 6 (30:24):
Very nice, very nice. So how do our listeners book
you to develop their financial strategy?
Speaker 8 (30:29):
Well, that's real simple. You can go to the business
Believe dot com, Ford Slash Erica. You can go ahead
and make an appointment. And I also encourage everybody to
go ahead and get my book, The Real Black Agenda
where I dive deep.
Speaker 7 (30:39):
Very nice, very nice. All right, good people, stick around.
The get Up poll question is coming up in just
a few minutes. Thank you so much, Dave. We appreciate you, sir,
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (30:58):
If you're listening to Get Up Campbo, it's time to
wake up and win with doctor Willie Jolly with Erica Campbell.
Speaker 1 (31:13):
It's another great day. This is doctor Willie Jolly.
Speaker 17 (31:16):
And as we continue to celebrate our gratitude, which will
continue to possibly impact our attitude at our altitude, we
must know that winners think differently. Winners realize that it
is not a matter of being happy that creates gratitude,
but rather the opposite. It is the process of deciding
to be grateful that ultimately leads to long term happiness.
(31:37):
Losers focus on things that can make them happy for
the short term and think it leads to long term gratitude,
but in reality, it is because they have gratitude that
leads to long term happiness. And research studies people who
start that day counting their blessings of those who have
greater success even on tough days. When you find something
you're grateful for, then you'll see that it has an
impact on your attitude and your happiness. You must see
(32:00):
that your attitude, and your altitude and your ability to
win are determined by your gratitude. Hey, try it, It
works and when you do, you'll feel much better. This
is doctor Willie Jolly.
Speaker 6 (32:10):
Go to Win with Willy dot com for resources to
help you win.

Speaker 7 (32:55):
All right to have some good conversation, Cheryl, What are
we talking about today?
Speaker 12 (32:59):
All right?
Speaker 7 (33:00):
So, according to Country Living, the magazine, today is the
last day you can safely eat Thanksgiving leftovers. I said,
if you cooked it for you know, Thanksgiving Day, and
a lot of times you've cooked it on Wednesday.
Speaker 6 (33:11):
So maybe yesterday was the last day I could eat it.
Speaker 7 (33:15):
They say most food should be consumed or frozen within
three to.
Speaker 6 (33:19):
Four days of refrigeration.
Speaker 7 (33:21):
So to get a break from Thanksgiving yesterday, we literally
went out to eat and I just wanted a burger.
Speaker 6 (33:26):
I ended up getting like a you know, like a
turkey I know, I just wanted. I just wanted a
burger I didn't want.
Speaker 7 (33:31):
I just ended up getting a chicken sandwich because they
didn't have you know, turkey burger or veggie burger.
Speaker 6 (33:36):
So I ended up just getting burgers and fries.
Speaker 7 (33:39):
And I know fries isn't good for you, but I
just need a break from the thanksgive I ha lazagya.
Speaker 6 (33:44):
Okay, yesterday, that's funny, random and different. Not to have
grains every day. I'm gonna have grains.
Speaker 7 (33:58):
Yeah, I can too, Me too, Me too. I told
you I had that sweet potato corn bread. So I
did have a slice of that with some coffee yesterday
evening before going to bit, not right before bed, but
you know, as a treat. But but for today, y'all
throw that out right, throw that out, is what I'm saying.
But I'm not gonna judge you if you don't. Yeah,
my mother in law is the queen of freezing stuff.
(34:20):
She will have gumbo from New Year's in March because
she froze it.
Speaker 9 (34:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (34:26):
Oh and y'all eat it. No, you can do deliciously.
You can certainly do that deliciously. No, you can certainly
do that. And that's the key.
Speaker 7 (34:34):
If you froze it, you know, within those three to
four days, and that's fine, you can you can pull
it out three for six months down the line and
eat it again.
Speaker 6 (34:42):
But y'all, we just had y'all have to fool that.
Not because we are different, right.
Speaker 10 (34:50):
I don't never want to hold turkey because I'm not
going to eat a whole turkey the parts I eat.
So we had like a giant turkey breast would own
in it and it was no meat left at the
end of well, Nico and then was scraping off the
bone trying to bring some home. But we also had
tortellini and pasta and Sammy's cheesecake, like we had other
(35:12):
stuff like we really don't.
Speaker 6 (35:16):
Absolutely and it.
Speaker 1 (35:19):
Was a lot of people.
Speaker 6 (35:21):
That's what we did that whole game. Traditional stuff. Yeah,
oh that's right, that's right.
Speaker 7 (35:25):
I told you we're on the shore. We did all
a lot of seafood, a lot of seafood.
Speaker 12 (35:29):
We did do the.
Speaker 7 (35:30):
Turkey, we did ham, we did the traditional things. But
we had a lot of and that's why we have
a lot of leftover. I still got drinking. I still
got black eyed peas, strange mac and cheese. I still
got sweet potato pie, still got but you over Saturday,
so you got a few days you could eat on
that we did.
Speaker 10 (35:47):
Nico brought cranberry sauce for his family because that's right,
because you can on him.
Speaker 6 (35:55):
He had a can on him. He was like, you
ain't got a can open the door. What I done?
Speaker 7 (36:01):
That was cool, though, the question is are you still
eating leftovers? Call us let us know eight seven seven
you haven't had a little ham sandwich with the rolls,
with the bread. You're taking that piece of ham and
making the sandwich this morning with an egg. That sound
delicious eight seven seven.
Speaker 6 (36:17):
Eight seven seven too.
Speaker 7 (36:18):
We might be hungry, y'all? Are you still eating leftovers?
Because clearly were hungry and to get up church eight
seven seven two for two two four two six get
up morning eggs.
Speaker 6 (36:27):
Are you still eating leftovers?
Speaker 1 (36:33):
If you're listening to get up with Erica Camp, you've
heard from us. I'm so excited because I got through and.
Speaker 6 (36:44):
All right with people.
Speaker 7 (36:45):
Today we are asking are you still eating the leftovers
from Thanksgiving? Okay, it's Thursday, but if you cook Tuesday
and Wednesday, we kind of far from the original cookoration
of the food. So you're still eating. Let's go and
ask Donna from Jersey City. Hey, Donna, you still eating leftovers?
Speaker 5 (37:01):
Oh my god, Erica, you know what I ate that stuff?
Thursday and Friday, Saturday, like Cheryl said, she just wanted
a burger. I ate the spaghetti I met on Saturday.
So yesterday's Sunday. We did have it for dinner. So
I said, this stuff. I told my son, if you
don't come and get this stuff, it is going out
because Thanksgiving dinner is done. I sold through with it.
(37:23):
I got, like you said, you got macaronis stuff, and
all of that stuff still in the situator. That stuff
got to go. So I'm not eating no more kind
of it. Telling Joyce y'all Thanksgiving.
Speaker 12 (37:37):
Way, Yeah, thank you you too.
Speaker 6 (37:38):
By bye.
Speaker 7 (37:39):
Smiley in South Carolina's on the line, Hey, smiler, are
you still eating him leftovers?
Speaker 13 (37:44):
I am trying.
Speaker 12 (37:45):
I did not get any potato salad or octave. So
I got to bird friends.
Speaker 5 (37:50):
I wanted to say, house.
Speaker 12 (37:56):
Go ahead.
Speaker 6 (37:57):
She got some Tuesday.
Speaker 5 (38:01):
She got, she got the turkey, she got my dressing
she got, she got the turn she got.
Speaker 6 (38:10):
You're still eating it? Okay? Well in George, thank you
for calling.
Speaker 13 (38:15):
Serve me.
Speaker 4 (38:16):
Y'all hear me bother me.
Speaker 10 (38:19):
Okay, let's go to Georgia and talk to my guy. Laymen, laymen,
you're still eating Thanksgiving food?
Speaker 1 (38:28):
By yes, my brother, I'm saying for breakfast, flood and
then up come on put so much food?
Speaker 5 (38:37):
Yeah, man, we cooked so much food there. There's so
much left over.
Speaker 12 (38:42):
We gotta freeze it, we gotta eat it.
Speaker 6 (38:46):
When is it? Whenter you finished? Though? When is your
last day?
Speaker 12 (38:50):
Normally it will last throughout the next week.
Speaker 6 (38:54):
Okay, okay, you got four days.
Speaker 5 (38:58):
Yeah, we got a few.
Speaker 12 (38:59):
More days and we're part of it.
Speaker 6 (39:03):
That's a lot of food two weeks.
Speaker 7 (39:06):
But don't let that man live his life. That's his stomach,
all right. Thank you for calling, sir, Bye bye, Orlanda
and North Carolina's on the line. Hey, Orlanda, you still
eat leftovers?
Speaker 12 (39:17):

Speaker 5 (39:20):
Go eat a ham sandwich right now.
Speaker 12 (39:22):
Come on, and I got some.
Speaker 8 (39:26):
I got sleep.
Speaker 15 (39:27):
Potato Pie said of making the big ones, you know,
people cut it, they make a mess. So I made
about maybe two dozen of mini sweet potato pots with
grand practic cracker.
Speaker 6 (39:35):
I love it. I know that's right.
Speaker 7 (39:36):
Listen, Tina made mine with the homemade Graham cracker, cause
I did definitely had a little slice last night.
Speaker 6 (39:41):
So I understand. Thank you for calling.
Speaker 13 (39:43):
Bye bye.
Speaker 10 (39:44):
Let's go to South Carolina and talk to Carneta Cardnetta.
Speaker 6 (39:48):

Speaker 2 (39:50):

Speaker 5 (39:51):
Oh, yes we are, gal. That's my favorite time of
the year.
Speaker 8 (39:59):

Speaker 12 (39:59):

Speaker 6 (40:02):
I love it, live your life. Been praying for your stomach.
Thank you for calling.

Speaker 7 (40:13):

Speaker 1 (42:26):
Let's talk about love for God, so love the world.
Love y'all, love talk, Get up morning.
Speaker 6 (42:33):
Yes, it is time for the love talk of the day.
Speaker 7 (42:36):
And I had a great conversation with the young ones
over this weekend. Wosey had some friends over and then
some nieces were over, and I love talking to them
about Danny and when y'all they are so anxious. They
want to know the end right now, right now, right now.
They don't want to meet, They don't want to just
get to know someone and be friends until it becomes
(42:57):
and evolved.
Speaker 3 (42:58):
What is this?
Speaker 6 (42:58):
What do we call ourselves? What do we do? I'd
like y'all slow down.
Speaker 7 (43:02):
If I was anybody, I'd be running from you too,
because you're too anxious.
Speaker 6 (43:06):
Just take your time.
Speaker 7 (43:07):
And I know you know at an older age of course,
you like I don't have time to waste, But it
still takes time to get to know someone and you
can't rush it, you know what I mean? We oh
we grown, let's just get married. Well, listen, you can
end up in a trick bag that way too. It
takes the time that it takes, so allow all the
relationship to evolve. Have the conversations. You need to have
(43:29):
my personal preference, and I know I've been married a
long time. Is I like to see a bunch of
different versions of you, Like how do you deal with issues?
How do you deal when we have a tough conversation?
How do you deal with your family?
Speaker 11 (43:42):
Like?
Speaker 6 (43:42):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 7 (43:43):
Are you the kind of person too? You don't hang
around your family, you don't know them no more because
they made you mad. Well that's telling so it only
it can't happen immediately. You know, I know it was
love at first sight?
Speaker 6 (43:55):
Yeah it could be.
Speaker 7 (43:55):
Would you gonna have to find out if it's real?
If you need to put your glasses on. It takes
the time that it takes, so don't be in a rush.
You don't know what you're looking at at the beginning.
You got to figure some things out. See them around
their family, see them around strange just you got to
check people out. It's a bunch of crazies out here,
and love doesn't happen quickly. It takes time, all right,
(44:17):
so allow it to take the time that it takes.
Speaker 6 (44:19):
All right. That's the love talk of the day, y'all.
Stick around. We got more on the way.
Speaker 1 (44:32):
