A birthday you can shout it out for the birthday
(06:02):
shout out and get up mornings with Eric cam you
right now, Amen, Yes, it is time for the faith
walks of the day, and today I want to talk
about how being easily offended can lead to rebellion. Yes,
(06:22):
the Bible indicates that offense can lead to rebellion.
Speaker 4 (06:25):
It's presented as a progressive problem.
Speaker 6 (06:29):
We're hurt and offense can lead to a hardened heart,
withdrawal from commitment, and ultimately opening a door to defiance
against God's authority. Bible often highlights how being hurt and
offended can be a starting point for negative trajectory and
it can lead to a cycle of bitterness and resentment
and a desire to distance oneself from the source of
(06:50):
the offense, which can be God, his people, or his authority.
Speaker 4 (06:54):
Let me tell you what the Bible says.
Speaker 6 (06:55):
Proverbs eighteen and nineteen says a brother offended is more
a yielding that a strong city and quarreling is like the.
Speaker 4 (07:04):
Bars of a castle.
Speaker 6 (07:05):
Proverbs nineteen says good sense makes one slow to anger,
and it is his glory to overlook an offense wof
But this is the one that gets you all together.
Ecclesiastics seven twenty one and twenty two. Do not take
to heart all the things that people say. Lest you
hear your servant cursing you. Your heart knows that many
times you yourself have cursed others.
Speaker 4 (07:27):
Goad the Bible, keep it a buck with you.
Speaker 1 (07:29):
Listen.
Speaker 4 (07:30):
Don't be getting mad and offended with people. You done
done stuff too.
Speaker 6 (07:32):
Learning to release those things out of your heart means
you are not making space for the enemy. Because when
you are offended and you justify the offense, and then
you remember the offense and it fosters and it stirs
in your heart, it can lead to a spirit of
rejection and not wanting to even be bothered with people.
So I pray, I pray that you have a forgiving heart.
I pray that you have the heart that releases that
(07:54):
you don't stay in a place of offense. It is
spiritual and it will hold you hostage because the enemy
will always give you other reasons to be offended when
that is the dominant spirit that's resting on you. So
I pray you get free from that spirit today. How
about that walking grace, walk and forgiveness and plus you
don't know you know you done done stuff too. That's
the word, y'all. All right, that's the faith walk of
(08:14):
the day. Now it is birthday shout out time. Eight

Speaker 6 (12:53):
It's a wonderful Wednesday, August the sixth. It is one
minute past the top of the hour. All right, guys,
eleven minutes after the hour, we will hear from serious Griff,
mister Griffin, and I'll have an ericas and then he'll
cap it off with the joys and concerns.
Speaker 1 (13:07):

Are you serious?
Speaker 8 (13:21):
Come on?
Speaker 4 (13:26):
Listen.
Speaker 6 (13:26):
The heat, stress and activity sweat can be a real hassle.
Secret Clinical Anti perspriate stick provides three times the sweat
protection to take on that challenge. Secret Clinical has your back.
All right, mister Griffin, It's on you, sir.
Speaker 1 (13:41):
You know when you hear people say.
Speaker 7 (13:46):
God, no, my heart or only God can judge me
that that normally made you did something.
Speaker 11 (13:57):
Normally?
Speaker 1 (13:58):
Is you normzing being a human being?
Speaker 7 (14:02):
And I know Eric has said a bunch of times
when you start normalizing, when you say, oh no that's
what yeah, rational and yes, rationalizing what you're doing. Oh,
I'm only doing this because they did this A lot
of people say, you know, I'm working on me, But
are you, though, are you really working on you?
Speaker 1 (14:22):
What have you done? What's your steps?
Speaker 7 (14:26):
You're going to therapy, you're going to counseling, you're taking time,
you're reading books, or you're just saying I'm working on me,
the same way people say only God can just being.
It is what it is. And at the end of
the day, I hate at the end of the day,
at the end of the day's night and I go
to bed late. So actually at the end of the
(14:47):
day it's tomorrow for me. But anyway, I digress. Romans
twelve and sixteen encourages us to live in harmony with
one another and avoid pride. Philippians two and three says,
do nothing out of selfish ambition or bank CONCEI. Rather,
in humility, value others above yourselves. But I love this
(15:09):
one Matthew twenty twenty six through twenty eight. Jesus is
teaching us that the greatest amongst his followers should be
the servant of all, emphasizing the true greatness comes from
serving others, now from seeking superiority or saying you know,
I'm you know, I'm. It turns very I love the
(15:30):
Pharisees and the Bible because they was just around to
create ruckus. They was like, we dressed nice, we know
a lot, but what y'all talking about over here? Like
it's very phariseeoush when you start telling people who you
are and what you do and to serve, man, you
gotta serve. And serving is a bunch of ways. I
(15:55):
pulled over this dude that has flashes and you know
when people had a the emergency blinkers on. I just
want to help, you know. And I get I pull
over and this Indian dude, he's like, oh my god,
my car. And I was like, this is a new car.
What's going on? No smoke, we hood ain't up. He
was like, take my chains off you. I just need
(16:17):
I just need gas. I got some like seven dollars
in my car. Like he's like, no, I need the California.
I need to go to California. I was like, yeah, yeah,
I'm yeah, I got seven dollars. You can take this
seven dollars and get you a good want three dollars.
You can get you a gallon in three quarters on me.
(16:39):
But my point is that I always want to serve.
I always want to help it's in my spirit. My
mom taught me to just you know, be that person.
I've been help before, so I know what helped feel like.
I've been hungry before, so I know what you giving
somebody some food feels like, you know. So I'm just
(16:59):
asking people to are you really trying to get better?
Speaker 10 (17:02):
For you?
Speaker 1 (17:03):
Just saying it? That's my mister Griffin.
Speaker 6 (17:07):
Thank you so much, Griff for reminding us what it
means to serve, because many people don't, and we praise
God for those that do.
Speaker 4 (17:17):
Y'all keep serving, keep loving Jesus, I get people.
Speaker 6 (17:20):
That is the mister Griffin for this wonderful Wednesday. We
got the Erica Ism of the day, and Griff still
got more. We got the joys and concerns plus more
great gospel music.
Speaker 4 (17:28):
It's Get Up Mornings.
Speaker 2 (17:37):
If you're listening to Get Up Eric Camber of the Day.
Speaker 1 (17:44):
Or Get Up Mornings with Erica.
Speaker 6 (17:47):
You know, I yemo that I do social media right,
and I'm on social media quite a bit. I have
a team that helps me do it. So I'll record
stuff and send it to my team and so they'll
post it. And it's not always posted in the time
that it happens, and when I think about things, people
seeing things going oh my god, I didn't know you
were in town, but it was like last week. To me,
that feels like a guy kind of protecting me because
(18:08):
I have some very special followers as well who think
I'm their mother.
Speaker 1 (18:14):
So you have told me.
Speaker 6 (18:16):
Wise about certain things, which brings me to my subject.
I want to talk to our elder loved ones who
think everything y'all see on the internet is true. Listen, okay,
but those of you sitting the wonderful video of what's
his name, Jason Roumy, Jonathan Roumy laying hands on Oprah,
(18:38):
that's a fake video.
Speaker 4 (18:39):
Guys.
Speaker 6 (18:40):
This is why we need y'all to learn what AI is,
because sometimes they tell you this video is for entertainment,
a little bit of the low. If you see that post,
it's going on around YouTube, and I've seen people post it,
oh my god, he'd got Oprah saved.
Speaker 1 (18:55):
Great.
Speaker 4 (18:55):
First of all, he's not Jesus. Okay, let's start there
and April Oprah bend loud about the Lord.
Speaker 6 (19:01):
But AnyWho, my message is to those of you who
see that and believe everything is true, just the same
way when.
Speaker 4 (19:07):
You you got to try the spirit.
Speaker 6 (19:08):
By the spirit, you got to double check that stuff
because a lot of that stuff is not true. Some
of it they're they're baiting you because they want you
to click on it and get trapped in their ecosystem
of leaving your number or leaving your email, and then
it's it's a lot.
Speaker 4 (19:20):
So listen, y'all.
Speaker 6 (19:21):
I want y'all some of y'all need to pray in
the spirit before you get online.
Speaker 1 (19:25):
I really do that.
Speaker 6 (19:26):
Some stocks, some things I post in real time, and
some things I don't, just for safety practices and different
things like that. But I think, hey, all, my nieces
and nephews, will y'all tell Grandma now that everything they
see on the internet ain't true. Lord, if I get
one more, you get this money back if you fill
out this and this is and somebody sending me is
this true? First of all, I'm not I'm not the
(19:46):
Internet expert, but I do know.
Speaker 4 (19:48):
Ain't nobody giving away no free money?
Speaker 6 (19:50):
Say ever, Ain't nobody giving out free money that don't exist?
But you know what, listen, use your discernment. And this
is what I want you to know too. If God
is always going to take care of you, don't always
have to find an internet scam in order for you
to come up. So I want y'all to side, Oh,
this is God trying to bless me. Will God use
an internet scam to bless you? Don't think so. But
(20:10):
you have to use your discernment right and make better choices.
Speaker 4 (20:13):
I love y'all.
Speaker 7 (20:14):
Y'all.
Speaker 6 (20:14):
Stop sending all them reels to your grandkids. All right, y'all,
stop doing that. We love you so much. Thank you
for texting Grandma. We appreciate you, but the reels maybe
not so much. All right, y'all, that's my Rika is
Mother Day. I love you and I mean it. Yeah,
somebody called me. She was like, oh my god, I
see you're in town. Let's do da da da da da.
And I was like, oh, girl, that was last week.
(20:35):
So if that just like that wasn't the day that
you thought it was, because people be having whole conversations
about your life based on social media and you're literally
singing an old post. So let's stick to the things
that are real. Love y'all, and I mean it. Stick around.
We've got the joys and concerns up next. Don't get
up mornings.
Speaker 1 (21:01):
If you're listening to get up. Let the church say Amen.
Speaker 2 (21:09):
The time for joys and concerns, well.
Speaker 4 (21:13):
Sayings to the Most High God.
Speaker 6 (21:14):
We are coming to you lie from the get up
Church of our Lord Bapti Costain denominational, denominational A and
me seeing men g Elemento p at Patholic Church of
God in Christ.
Speaker 4 (21:25):
All right, Griff, look the little you.
Speaker 1 (21:27):
Thank you first, Lady Paz there.
Speaker 7 (21:30):
God is a happy birthday to Amer Khan and my
homeboy ge smooth down in Columbus, Georgia, and Angel listening
to us in South Afriage.
Speaker 1 (21:43):
As it is.
Speaker 7 (21:45):
But first, giving honor to God who's ahead of my life.
I'd like to say I'm glad to be in the
house of the Lord or one more time.
Speaker 1 (21:57):
Elder Sheryl, because I mean from a mighty, mighty own way. Brother, geez, move,
I could have been dead. I'm sleeping in the brain.
Speaker 7 (22:09):
But God is.
Speaker 1 (22:09):
Good all the time, all the time.
Speaker 4 (22:13):
But God it's good.
Speaker 7 (22:15):
Yes, yes, Elder Cheryl. I paused on the annoyting. When
I'm thinking you, I think of the annoying team.
Speaker 1 (22:21):
So I paused. Grace right, I'll take it.
Speaker 7 (22:26):
So yesterday for George and concerns and a lot.
Speaker 1 (22:29):
Of people in the Atlanta area hit me.
Speaker 7 (22:31):
They was like, Greg, we definitely want to see you
in this yellow raincoat and colossious skipping in the brain
and I'm going to record it. My wife actually said
she wanted to see it too. But Erica, Cheryl, it
stopped raining.
Speaker 1 (22:47):
It stopped.
Speaker 7 (22:48):
That's how I know I'm connected to the Lord it's
stopped raining.
Speaker 1 (22:53):
I'm connected. I just don't.
Speaker 7 (22:55):
I said, Lord, it is raining. It's stopped raining. Nothing, no, no, nothing.
So then I was thinking to myself, well, I could
just skip in the dry and you know, make a filter.
Speaker 1 (23:10):
You know, AI had changed everything, so I was just
gonna make it.
Speaker 7 (23:14):
I figured I could get myself skipping, put that on
the greatest skipping screen, put some thunder in the background
that y'all would really be like Griff was out there
for rip. I had a whole plan. He but it's
stop braining. Maybe I just skipped out of here. What
you do the fun is skipping?
Speaker 1 (23:30):
Hopping? Know you're getting it off.
Speaker 7 (23:32):
So somebody in ain't guards ain't gripping, stop bringing it.
Speaker 1 (23:36):
I know you can say, ain't you. I'm right, Cheryl,
You're absolutely right. God don't want me out nowhere. It
could be dangerous for my ac l if you could say, alright,
but if you like me and you know the Lord
how me. I'm not half a out of his eyes.
They call me young half had.
Speaker 13 (24:00):
Come on, young app Okay, all right, young app saple,
I have to skip in the ring. I wonder wow.
I had everyone prepared.
Speaker 4 (24:11):
And if you hadn't prayed, it probably would have just

I saw this video of her mentoring and kind of

Her on, so she's here with us today. Natasha. Welcome
to Get Up Mornings.
Speaker 10 (26:26):
Hello, Hello, thank you so much.
Speaker 4 (26:29):
Glad to finally get you on.
Speaker 6 (26:31):
We've been trying for a minute, and today we're talking
about the importance of authentically connecting when singing.
Speaker 4 (26:38):
Is it necessary for singers to be vulnerable when singing?
Speaker 12 (26:42):
Absolutely, I think most singers do not like to be vulnerable,
but it's so important.
Speaker 10 (26:48):
So that people can actually feel and believe what you're
singing about.
Speaker 6 (26:52):
What about the artist. It feels like it doesn't take
all of that to sing. So many people feel that way.
Speaker 10 (26:57):
They feel like, you know, as long as I have
my runs and my tone good and I can sing down,
I don't really need to connect.
Speaker 12 (27:03):
And it's not true. Those singers that really bring you
in and touch your heart and make you feel something,
those are the.
Speaker 10 (27:10):
Ones that you want to buy their music, or you
want to listen to their music, you.
Speaker 12 (27:13):
Want to go to their concert because you connect with
them in a way that's different than just hearing somebody
who has everything right, but I feel nothing.
Speaker 10 (27:21):
Why do I feel anything?
Speaker 6 (27:23):
And it's really not about the runs and about the perfection.
It is about the passion. And so how did you
get to this place of mentoring singers in this way?
Speaker 10 (27:31):
Well, I started singing when I was ten.
Speaker 4 (27:34):
I've been in the business my whole life.
Speaker 10 (27:36):
I have owned my school for twenty five years, and
so I.
Speaker 12 (27:39):
Have coaches and people that teach, but occasionally people come
in and they want to work with me. And when
I work with people, I can tell in the first
ten to fifteen seconds if they're honest, if.
Speaker 10 (27:51):
It's true, or if I don't believe you.
Speaker 12 (27:53):
And so I grew up singing when no one ever
challenged me in that way. I thought it was just
about singing until I learned that, No, you have to connect.
Speaker 10 (28:03):
You have to bring people in. You have to make
people heal, feel something.
Speaker 12 (28:08):
You know, make them consider their lives, whatever it is
that you're doing, whatever you're singing about. And most singers
sing songs and they don't even know what it's about.
Speaker 6 (28:16):
You usually say artists are ambassadors for other people's feelings.
We help people heal and feel things they don't want
to acknowledge sometimes, so explain that a little bit.
Speaker 12 (28:27):
Yeah, I believe that that we are the ambassador, and
people don't walk around just saying how they feel. Sometimes
people don't even know how they feel until they hear
a song, or they see a movie, or they see something.
Speaker 10 (28:38):
Like, oh my god, that's my life. Oh my god,
that's how I feel.
Speaker 12 (28:41):
Oh my god, I need to pick up the phone
and call my mom and say I'm sorry, I need
to fix my relationship with this person.
Speaker 1 (28:46):
Oh my god.
Speaker 10 (28:46):
It brings up those feelings.
Speaker 12 (28:48):
So when you go into the movies and you get
to cry because you see something that reminds you of yourself.
Speaker 10 (28:53):
Or someone, that is our job. And we can't do
that if we're not vulnerable.
Speaker 12 (28:57):
If we're actually holding back and saying I don't want
to be vulnerable, I don't want people to see me,
I don't.
Speaker 10 (29:01):
Want people to feel me, then we're not doing our job.
Our job is to make other.
Speaker 1 (29:06):
People feel Wow.
Speaker 6 (29:08):
Most people go on to singing because they want to
be big, not because they want to share their heart
and your soul and singers, it requires it requires your.
Speaker 4 (29:15):
Soul, It requires all of you, all of you.
Speaker 12 (29:20):
Someone can write a song not know you, and those
lyrics are your life.
Speaker 10 (29:26):
You read it, you go, oh my god, I can't
sing this.
Speaker 12 (29:28):
I can't sing this because when I sing this, it
makes me feel something that's a perfect bunk for you
the same.
Speaker 14 (29:33):
I love it.
Speaker 4 (29:34):
I love it, Ladies and gentlemen.
Speaker 6 (29:36):

Speaker 2 (30:11):
If you're listening to Get Up Erica Camp, it's time
to wake up and win with doctor Willie Jolly.
Speaker 15 (30:28):
It's another great day. This is doctor Willy Jolly. And
every morning you wake up, you are faced with a
series of choices. You can choose the choice, but you
cannot choose the consequence of the choice.
Speaker 1 (30:40):
You can choose to get up, or you can choose
to stay in bed.
Speaker 15 (30:43):
You can choose to do nothing with his day, or
you can choose to get the busy and make this
an incredible day. Yet keep in mind that you can
make the choice, but you cannot choose the consequence.
Speaker 4 (30:54):
Let's say a person decides to.
Speaker 1 (30:56):
Jump off a building.
Speaker 15 (30:58):
They can make that choice, but they cannot choose a
consequence of the choice.
Speaker 1 (31:02):
They might hit the ground and bounce back up. They
might hit the ground as splat.
Speaker 15 (31:08):
You could choose the action, but you cannot choose what
will happen from that action. So today, choose well and
decide to make the rest of this day, and the
rest of this week, and the rest of this year,
and the rest of your.
Speaker 1 (31:23):
Life the best of your life. Hey, make it a
great day. This is doctor Willy Jolly. You do because
you choose to make it a great day.
Speaker 15 (31:30):
Go to win with Willie dot com and get some resources.
Speaker 1 (31:33):
To help you win more. Remember, your best is yet
to come. You've heard from us.
Speaker 9 (31:40):
Because I got.
Speaker 4 (31:45):
All right, Cheryl, what are we talking about today?
Speaker 6 (31:48):
You know, to Be gets a bad rap. When you
say it's on to b you just know it's gonna
be right, like amateur movies, low budgeted movies.
Speaker 8 (31:56):
Right.
Speaker 6 (31:56):
But what one thing I found out about to Be
two is that it plays all of the past black
culture movies like I Love I Love to go on
it to check out some of the movies that we
you know that we kind of love, like Waiting to Exhale,
White Man, can't dumb Love Jones?
Speaker 1 (32:14):
You know why did I get married? All the Spike
Lee joints are on there, so okay, you.
Speaker 6 (32:18):
Could go to to b and check that out and
it's a free app, right, So today it made me
think about it. What is some What is a movie
that you can watch over and over and over again,
like you don't care that you've watched it before, and
you can watch it again. For me, I love I
love Love Jones. I love that movie, and Waiting to
Exhale is a good one that I like to watch.
(32:40):
I can watch all over again. So and I like
period pieces like Crookland kind of remind me of my
childhood a little bit.
Speaker 1 (32:46):
So yeah, what about y'all?
Speaker 4 (32:48):
So like The Wood Coming to America?
Speaker 6 (32:51):
Yeah, but my my family is real Disney, so we'll
watch Lion King and Beauty and the Beast any any
day of the week. Yeah, Madagascar, all of that. But
black movies, yeh, I say, coming to America?
Speaker 4 (33:05):
I will.
Speaker 6 (33:05):
I did watch Friday with my kids, and I know
that they're teenagers, but listen to the music. I was cringing.
But I was like the music they listened to. They've
heard this word before. It don't It don't have to
be a black culture movie either. It could just be
like I'm always watched Life.
Speaker 7 (33:24):
I remember, I don't care where it started in the
movie in Life, Remember the Titans kill Bill and Hercules. Yeah,
I love them them singing them singing ladies in the beginning,
and yeah, throughout the cartoon.
Speaker 6 (33:43):
Christa played one of the singing music when they did
Hercules at her high school.
Speaker 1 (33:48):
Nice, I love them.
Speaker 6 (33:50):
I like the old Disney movies, like with Dick Van Dyke. Yeah,
y Love, Yeah, Yeah, I like the sound of music too.
I like Lightheart Love. I don't want to be beat up.

a good mystery, but yeah I don't. I don't want
(34:12):
to be killing.
Speaker 1 (34:13):
Up shoot shoots like Lauren Goodness.
Speaker 4 (34:20):
I don't want to sleep.
Speaker 6 (34:24):
I did watch I did watch Appranos, but that was
like a story Like some movies. It's just like y'all
killing just for the sake of killing, and we don't
even know who killing or why they're killing.
Speaker 1 (34:33):
The wire.
Speaker 6 (34:34):
I can't like, you know, stuff like that and the
wire is too close to home. So yeah, no, it's
like right up the street. Now you're gonna have me
looking around at people like you've seen them in the episode.

Speaker 2 (39:07):
Love for God, so love the world, love talking.
Speaker 4 (39:12):
Yes, it is time for the love Talk of today.
Speaker 6 (39:14):
And yesterday I went to prayer meeting and there was
a you know, unfortunately everybody come to church, not everybody
come to prayer.
Speaker 4 (39:22):
But we had a nice group at prayer yesterday and
we are praying.
Speaker 6 (39:25):
And as I'm praying for people, I'm always pressed with
people feeling and knowing the love of God, because when
you love something, you trust something, When you love something,
you go back to it. And so my prayer is
always that people experience God's love, not in the sense
of let me love you, because I don't want to
(39:46):
get in trouble that that I think we've a wrong
definition of what it means to love and fear and
reverence God. It means to honor, It means to uh
to elevate high above yourselves. And when you look at
love in that sense, it should draw your heart, not
make you afraid. It should draw your heart, not make
you think I'm not gonna be good enough for this God.
(40:07):
None of us are good enough. He loves us anyway,
and understanding love in that perspective makes us see other people.
Speaker 4 (40:12):
Differently as well.
Speaker 6 (40:15):
You know, God is doing some great things in our church,
and I'm super happy about it, and I believe that
all of.
Speaker 4 (40:20):
It is changing in prayer. In prayer, and heart's just
coming and surrendering and.
Speaker 6 (40:24):
Asking God to have his way, not get nobody, not
giving God nobody's name. Lord, you know what they did
to me, m m. But loving God so much, you'll
love his principles. And so if I have to forgive
and I have to be kind and I have to
be gracious, then I will be that because I love
Him so much, I trust him, I trust what he's
saying to me for me about me. So I pray
that your love for God makes you trust them Your
(40:46):
love for God makes you want to know more about him.
Your love for God, realize that just like He loves you,
he loves somebody else. To the person you don't like, Yep,
God loves them. That's hard to process. But as you pray,
you put on the mind of Christ. As you pray,
it'll show you yourself. As you pray, you'll begin to repent,
like that's the wrong heart and attitude.
Speaker 4 (41:05):
So Lord fixed my heart. So I love like you
while being loved by you. That's my love.
Speaker 6 (41:10):
Talking today, y'all, stick around. We've got trending topics in
the quick sports minute up next.

Join Apostle Mike Freeman in Los Angeles October seventh through
the ninth for Stretch the Return Leadership Summit. Register now
at Faithcitycentral dot org. Forward slash Stretch. All right, Cheryl,
tell us what's trending today?
Speaker 1 (41:54):
All right?
Speaker 6 (41:55):
So yesterday the announcement came and upset everybody. BT has
made a major move that's catching a lot of people
off guard. The network has officially suspended both the BET
hip Hop Awards and the Soul Train Awards indefinitely.
Speaker 1 (42:12):
Whoa in definitely Yeah.
Speaker 6 (42:16):
That means that two of the most culturally significant nights
and black music have no set day to return, and
there's no word or whether they will ever return. And
this isn't just about two award shows, but the BT
hip Hop Awards has been the go to to celebrate
rap and hip hop culture since two thousand and six,
known for its Cipher's Bowld performances and moments that made headlines. Likewise,
(42:39):
the Sole Train Awards have been honoring R and B
and soul since nineteen eighty seven, highlighting legends while giving
a shine to emerging talent. And so I felt the
same way when they got rid of the celebration of
Goel Me to Sunday Best. I mean that they may
say it's gospel, that's black programming to a lot of
absolutely absolutely, So it's the Black Entertainment Network and nothing,
(43:05):
you know what I mean? I guess the BET Awards
are still there, but we saw how that went out.
I don't played out last time, but especially for us
in the gospel community. I mean there's no outlet, but
now it's no outlet for hip hop or R and
B either.
Speaker 1 (43:21):
So you got old joint award. I do nice.
Speaker 6 (43:25):
Yeah, yeah, so b ET CEO Scott Mills quietly confirmed
the indefinite suspension during an interview and Folk caught onto
it and was like, wait, what's happening.
Speaker 1 (43:36):
Yeah, that's what went down and other news.
Speaker 6 (43:40):
Congratulations to Jonathan McReynolds. He is now a professor at
Virginia Union University. He recently joined the faculty and will
be teaching and equipping the next generation of Kingdom leaders.
Speaker 14 (43:54):
Of course, I love that he's brilliant, and I'm he's
such a good bit, you know, and he has such
a calm demeanor that that you could listen to him.
Speaker 1 (44:05):
He's never going to raise his voice.
Speaker 6 (44:07):
He's an adjunct professor at different universities before this, so
this is now an on staff faculty member at VUU
and I think that's dope. I want to go to
VUU for my Yeah, you know, like a it would
be a specialty professor for a specific topic or something.
So he was called on to do that periodically, but
(44:30):
now he's you know, a standing and he was doing
that at a university in Chicago, but now he's here
at VUU. I want to do my master's program there,
so I'm really looking at them. Bishop John guns hats
off to him. And then it's the Heasa Kyle Walker
School of Music. Yeah, I just want I want to
go to U you anyway, We're moving on. Congratulations to
(44:51):
Devon Franklin and Maria Castillo.
Speaker 8 (44:54):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (44:54):
They are officially married Mary.
Speaker 6 (44:57):
Over the weekend, they tied the knot at a lakeside
ceremony in Beverly Hills, California, and Franklin described the ceremony
as a reflection of their love story from a candlelight
walkway to a harpist and a violinist. It's a beautiful
star studied a butt intimate wedding, and.
Speaker 1 (45:15):
They're featured on People magazine. So as what's trending, Congratulations
to them. Griff you up next with a sports minute game.
It's fill up Sports Minute, thanks Gerald.
Speaker 7 (45:27):
ESBN is acquiring the NFL Network, which includes the Red
Zone channel and that plays all the highlights from Sundays.
So that's gonna be interesting because if you already got ESPN,
and you know Disney and Hulu, do you get free
NFL games? And I'm sure they'll let us know about
that before the season kicks off. Tador Sanders Dion sanders Son,
