Indiana Congressman Andre Carson sharply criticized a proposed redistricting plan

his district. The congressman also warned the proposal, advanced alongside legislation,
would likely trigger multiple lawsuits if approved. The Food and
Drug Administration announced the recall of hundreds of gallons of
fat free milk sold in Woodman's stores in Illinois and
Wisconsin due to possible contamination with food grade cleaning agents

Rhymes that according to an announcement reported by the Associated Press,
the center plans to open the memorial. I had of

Speaker 7 (05:55):
Tony G and Columbia and South Carolina.
Speaker 1 (05:58):
Yeah, to get up, Eric Camp faith walk right now,
ay man.
Speaker 6 (06:10):
Yes, it is time for the faith walk of the day.
And as much as I love to encourage and uplift
and you know, give you some joy to hold on too,
I gotta be honest about the fact that we have
to learn how to process bad news, how to go
through without falling apart, how to hear bad news without
without losing your faith. So listen, I want you to
(06:32):
learn to pause before you panic. Bad news hits like
a punch and it takes your breath and peace and
sometimes even your balance.
Speaker 7 (06:38):
That is normal. But before you.
Speaker 6 (06:40):
Respond, pause, breathe and say the name of Jesus right,
just give yourself something to hold on just enough to
steady you in the moment, then let yourself feel it.
A lot of times people ignore their feelings, and I've
seen this at my aunt's funeral a few weeks ago,
people being very proud because they don't cry, you know,
acting like you know it's not what we're really dealing with.
(07:01):
Grief will hit you, pain will hit you. Let yourself
feel it. You don't have to be strong instantly, and
you don't have to fix it immediately, and you don't
have to pretend to be unbothered. Tears are not a
lack of faith. There are release valve for God's built
in soul washing. Then then don't process alone. Bad news
becomes heavier. I always love when something happens and the
(07:25):
church pull up on you, and the family pull up
on you, and people just knock on the door and
come over and bring you food, and they don't always talk,
they're just there. I think it is healthy to process
with the people that love you, or the people that
you allow to love you. Let me say it that way,
because you have to allow people that's face to love you.
Call someone, tell a friend, tell God out loud. Community
reminds you that you're not crazy and you're not imagining
(07:46):
it and you're not alone. And listen. Separate that news.
There's number four. Separate that news from your identity. Bad
things happen to you, not because of you. And when
you realize that, you know that you're still loved, chosen, covered,
helled by God, called and strengthened by God.
Speaker 7 (08:04):
So even if.
Speaker 6 (08:05):
Things shake you, you don't have to fall apart. And here lastly,
filter it through your faith, not your fear.
Speaker 7 (08:11):
What is God saying about it?
Speaker 6 (08:13):
How do you counter the realness of your situation with
what God is able to do? And then give yourself time. Okay,
we all go through things, but there needs to be
a process to dealing with pain and trouble and trauma.
We love giving good news, but sometimes we have to
tell people how to go through the tough seasons. All right,
I love you and I mean it. Look for the hope,
(08:35):
look for the help, and that is in Jesus Christ.
All right, don't carry it on your shoulders. It's too heavy.
So I'm praying for anybody going through a tough time
right now, praying that God gives you strength, that He helped.
Speaker 7 (08:46):
You breathe through it.
Speaker 6 (08:47):
See that there is a light at the end of
the proverbial tunnel. All right, I love you and I
mean it. That's the faith walk. All right, good people.
Now it's birthday shout out time eight seven seven two

Speaker 7 (13:43):
Leandrew and everybody there this Friday.
Speaker 4 (13:46):
But I looked at a post he had, and a
lady named I Nest Spencer passed and he said this
in the first time since he was nineteen in preaching,
he'd never seen this.
Speaker 3 (13:59):
Well.
Speaker 7 (13:59):
The lady he was buried by her ninety one year old,
ninety year old.
Speaker 4 (14:04):
Eighty five to eighty year olds, and seventy nine year
old kids.
Speaker 7 (14:10):
And I thought about, like, I just couldn't shake that post.
Speaker 4 (14:15):
You know, some post would make you think I need
to lose weight, I need to get my life together,
I need to I just couldn't shake that post. And
it wasn't because Miss Spencer.
Speaker 7 (14:26):
Was buried. It was because all her kids were healthy.
Speaker 4 (14:30):
And he said they were in their right mind at
ninety one, ninety eighty five, and to eighty year olds.
Speaker 7 (14:35):
And that's how many kids my mama got. I think
that was six, Yeah, that was six.
Speaker 4 (14:42):
But it just made me think of my brothers and
sisters and my mom, and you know, my grandma died
pretty My mom's mom died very young. I believe she
was fifty six or fifty seven, and all the women
and my mom and her sisters, they were, you know,
(15:03):
really scared to be in their fifties. And my mom
celebrates seventy two this year. And then my dad's mom
turns ninety I think next week. So I'm just thinking
about the longevity of our family and the legacy of
our family. And when I thought about Miss Spencer and
(15:27):
her kids being ninety one and ninety, that means they
got kids that's sixty and seventy and you know what
I'm saying, And they all came from mother I now, Spencer,
and I think right now a lot of us. I
was talking to a friend of mine, scram from Carolina
then yesterday, and we were just talking about everything we
(15:48):
did to get us where we are right now. And
this time of my life, I'm concentrating on peace. I
did it all, like I feel like I did it all.
There's a lot of things I want to do, but
if I look back over my life, I did it all.
If God ain't let me do one more thing, I'm
so grateful and thankful for everything, for doors close, for repossessions, for.
Speaker 7 (16:19):
I did it all, like you know, And at this
point now, I want to see my kids grow older.
Speaker 4 (16:26):
My oldest son, my first born, who is the largest
human being you ever seen in your life.
Speaker 7 (16:31):
He's a bodybuilder.
Speaker 4 (16:33):
He's coming for Christmas with his new wife and his
daughter and a niece that his wife is raising. So
just to be around him for grabbing, being with my
son and Christmas is like, oh seven, you know what
I'm saying. Like, so I'm just getting like I just
want to be Uh. We was talking about people still,
(16:55):
you know, old dudes in the club. Not only do
I not want to be the old not only am
I not the old done the club, but I also
don't want to be the old comedian that's still trying
to make money to get I got a plan the
same way I came into this comedy career and radio
the same I want to leave the same way.
Speaker 7 (17:15):
I want to let nobody dictate. I want other things.
Speaker 4 (17:19):
I got voiceover aspirations, I got football commentating and sports commentating. Like,
it's a lot of things I can do. But right now,
I choose peace. That's my mister Griffin for this morning.
Speaker 7 (17:33):
I love it. I choose peace. Yeah.
Speaker 6 (17:35):
I think the most beautiful testament to a life is
the people to show up when it's time for you
to go to say goodbye boy man. And it's not
even the size of the room the it's family quality
of people. The quality of people, man. And that's these volumes.
Y'all stick around. We got more on the waits.
Speaker 3 (17:53):
Get up moreing.
Speaker 1 (17:57):
If you're listening to Get up ericam Real Thought of
the Day or Get up Mornings with Erica Campbell.
Speaker 6 (18:07):
All Right, the scripture says, be not deceived. God is
not mocked. For whatever a man soweth, that shall he
also reap. Let's a little bit about sewing and reaping.
I know this sewing is a longer process than what
we think. And unfortunately a lot of our churches have
told us if you sow on Monday and three days,
(18:27):
you're gonna have something.
Speaker 7 (18:28):
And I just don't know that God does that.
Speaker 6 (18:31):
I don't think we gimmick our way into God. I
think we sow, and sowing takes time. And I don't
think that you reap what where you sow. You reap
what you sew. And so when you keep that in mind,
you know that sometimes swing into a person or ministry,
what you will reap will be further down the line,
and you should.
Speaker 7 (18:49):
Be okay with that.
Speaker 6 (18:50):
I think learning patience with our faith is a very
crucial message that we need to hold on too, because
a lot of times in our world, because you know,
life trauma issues, you know, maybe issues of poverty have
you wanting things to happen tomorrow, but you know, sometimes
there are miraculous things, and sometimes it is to you, and.
Speaker 7 (19:08):
Three days you're gonna get all. You're gonna get a
check in the mail, you know.
Speaker 6 (19:12):
But sometimes in three days you're gonna get the job,
and that job you're gonna sew some time, and you
once you're excellent, you will eventually get to the part
where you are financially stable. But it usually doesn't happen
in one day, sometimes not even in one month, and
a lot of people to get discouraged because it doesn't
happen quickly. But all through scripture there are references to
(19:32):
planting and farming and harvesting and you know, and sowing
and reaping because things take take time, and things even
grow in certain seasons and other seasons certain things don't grow.
And so sometimes what you're planted, what you planted, it's
going to take a season or two for you to
get what you know that is coming because of what
you put in the ground. We planted a rubio ficus
(19:56):
and a lemon tree in our backyard way way earlier
this year.
Speaker 7 (20:01):
Top of the year twenty twenty five.
Speaker 6 (20:03):
We are at the end of the year and just
now seeing the lemons grow on the tree Libby as
I call my lemon tree. And we're starting to see
new leaves and new branches on the fike Is tree.
Speaker 7 (20:18):
But we had to take time, and that is the
way it is with life.
Speaker 6 (20:21):
That's why the Bible even with children, train up a
child in the way they should go, and when they
are old, they will not depart. So what are you
swing into your children? What are you sowing into your church?
What are you sowing into your ministry? What are you
sowing into the people that you will disciple? Because we
all should be making disciples, right, that's scripture instruction too.
So when it comes to sowing and reaping, know that
it takes time, and in time you will what you sow.
(20:43):
So be patient in the season of sowing, be diligent
with nurturing what you have sowed, because it has to
be sown in good soil. You have to water the soil,
it has to be you know, good irrigation with the soil,
good sunshine with the soil. And so I want to
make sure that you understand the process of sowing and reap.
But I promise you if the Word says we will
reap what we sow, and all through scripture there are
(21:05):
references to sowing and harvesting, planting. I want you to
be be encouraged and know that you will reap what
you sow, not where you sew, because God is faithful,
he really is. And it is not a waste of
time to spend time on people. It is not a
waste of time to sow into folks. I promise you
God will reward you openly sometimes for what you've done.
And so that's my prayer that you continue to sow
(21:27):
and that you see the harvest of what you've sown. Okay,
that's the airchaism of the day. Chris got the joys
and concerns up next, we got more great gospel music
on the way again, y'all.
Speaker 5 (21:37):
I am in.
Speaker 7 (21:38):

I was like, hey man, that.

to clanked out the entire We threw away cakes and

We had a piece and then it got pushed behind
stuff and threw away half of chocolate cake. And but
(23:56):
before we do that one away, we cut it. They
made sure it was still moist in the middle, like
you took the ends up and we both snacked on
that we threw away. Uh uh, what kind of what
kind of the cheesecate from the cheese.
Speaker 7 (24:10):
Gave factory that to heasol brought over.
Speaker 4 (24:12):
We threw away a bunch of food food, anything that
was in it, tempaware got threw away yesterday.
Speaker 7 (24:18):
And then I so what I do during the summer
is I spray the garbage with some kind.
Speaker 4 (24:23):
Of anything so ants and flies, and then I'm spraying
it with a fabuloso.
Speaker 7 (24:29):
And le Nika was like, it is too cold for buzz.
Speaker 1 (24:32):

Speaker 1 (24:43):
I know.
Speaker 7 (24:44):
It's just that time you get to saying.
Speaker 4 (24:45):
All right, but if you like me, and you know,
actually I got a neck refrigerator right now, I'm straying
an eighty d.
Speaker 7 (24:55):
Myfrigerator got some almond milk and orange juice. That ain't
nobody bringing it right now? Anika saying over kill, Hi,
you doing way up, doing too much? He man, I
got a whole love so I don't have to cook
on man.
Speaker 4 (25:11):
She hit me with dad camsl and she came home
all day I was shopping and I was like, where
you what about? I thought you was cooking? She said,
you said this morning you over food, said he did.
Whenever my wife hit me with what I said, I
really don't have no comeback because she repeated what I said.
Speaker 7 (25:33):
Yeah what I was like, Yeah, I wasn't hungry anyway.
Speaker 6 (25:39):
It's all right, you know she gonna cook today. Get
up morning, y'all.
Speaker 7 (25:45):

Speaker 6 (26:27):
Hello, guess joining us today is platinum soul singer and
friend to the show. It's Major, ladies and gentlemen, Major,
welcome back to Get Up Morning.
Speaker 7 (26:38):
Get Up.
Speaker 1 (26:39):
Listen. It's a good time. We're we're ready to talk.
I'm honest to be back with my friends.
Speaker 7 (26:46):
I love y'all, glad to have you. So listen. You
have a new Christmas single.
Speaker 6 (26:51):
Why don't you briefly introduce it and then we'll come
back and talk more about it.
Speaker 1 (26:55):
Little drummer Boy.
Speaker 5 (26:57):
It's the classics that I've loved for a very long time,
and I just reimagined it a little bit. But it
allows me to express the love that I really have
for our Maker, our King, our Lord. Here's Little Drummer
Boy by Major.
Speaker 1 (27:13):
Here it is on Get Up Mornings, Get Up Mornings
with Erica Campbell, Get Up debut.
Speaker 7 (27:22):
On My Drum On My Drum.
Speaker 6 (27:30):
That's Major with his Christmas single, Little Drummer Boy Major.
You know that I love your voice and this classic
is actually perfect for you. So since we talked last time,
you'd had a first in gospel music, got your first
solo Stellar nomination, and your first number one gospel on
Billboard in a singer. How does this feel?
Speaker 5 (27:52):
You know, it's funny because I'm getting flashbacks of Griff
in the middle of the Stellar's yelling Major.
Speaker 7 (28:01):
The whole time just wasn't even yelling. No, I was
just saying it.
Speaker 1 (28:05):
You absolutely weren't yelling.
Speaker 3 (28:07):
It was your normal voice, honey, you have this natural boom.
Speaker 5 (28:11):
Nevertheless, it was an honor to be celebrated in a
category and a genre that started me in music, period,
and so to be embraced by a community of folks
that I love dearly. It just meant everything and I
prayed for you has really made its round. So many
people are loving that song even still, and I gotta
(28:34):
thank you all for really showing me a lot of
love on that one too.
Speaker 7 (28:37):
Always always big Hammi. I'm so proud of you man.
Speaker 4 (28:41):
Like seriously, Jason, I first met you, and of course
Eric has known you longer.
Speaker 7 (28:46):
But what you have achieved, what you have just worked on.
Speaker 4 (28:50):
And really, Doug, you are a doer like you not
playing with him out here, you actually out here, come on, man,
singing in your life.
Speaker 7 (28:59):
And not only that, but you gotta what you're doing
right now. You got to you just be motivational.
Speaker 3 (29:06):
And the hope dealer seys stop playing.
Speaker 9 (29:10):
With a griff.
Speaker 3 (29:13):
I'm my mama's favorite hope dealer.
Speaker 5 (29:15):
And you know I amplify that hope in love, life,
community and culture.
Speaker 1 (29:20):
Just to remind people this hope thing.
Speaker 3 (29:23):
We can't do life without it.
Speaker 5 (29:25):
As a matter of fact, we can't even talk faith
without hope because faith is the substance of things hoped for.
And I really want people to understand the narrative of
hope is that hope is not the denial of reality.
It's a commitment to believe greater is on the other
side of it. We're not pretending that struggle and circumstance
(29:47):
aren't real in this season right now, griff Man, it's
it's heavy. It's it's an annual thing that around this
time we get deeply introspected. We start looking at all
this stuff that ain't working for us, all the stuff
that is missing, or the stuff that we wish we had.
(30:07):
But I'm really wanting to encourage us in this time
to lock in on what has already happened.
Speaker 1 (30:14):
To take a sailb moment.
Speaker 5 (30:17):
That's an expression that we heard David use often in
the Book of Psalms, which basically means to pause, to
calmly think on what God has already done and what
he's doing in the right now. Not to push yourself
into tomorrow, but stay right here. You'll realize that life
has actually been good and the good will always outweigh
(30:39):
the bad. The Whole Dealer Sessions is available everywhere. It's
got some special stuff on. It's the remix of our
praise for you with David band here. He's got you know,
it's got some good stuff, Bros. And I'm really praying
that it encourages the hearts of the people.
Speaker 10 (30:54):
In this time.
Speaker 6 (30:55):
My friend, the platinus soul singer Major, download and stream
all of his music today.
Speaker 7 (31:00):
Just do a refresh and be encouraged by all that
he does.
Speaker 1 (31:03):
Major.
Speaker 7 (31:03):
We appreciate you, my friend, and.
Speaker 5 (31:05):
I appreciate y'all.
Speaker 1 (31:06):
Thank you for making time for me.
Speaker 3 (31:08):
Hey, get up, I can't.
Speaker 7 (31:11):
Stand you all right, my friend wants up to you soon. No,
it's enough.
Speaker 3 (31:15):
I like it.
Speaker 7 (31:15):
We're loud here, we're loud here. Good, it works. Stick around, guys,
we have so much more. It's just for you on
get up mornings.
Speaker 1 (31:33):
If you're listening to.
Speaker 7 (31:34):
Get up with Erica Kim, it's time to wake up
and win with Dtor Willie Jolly.
Speaker 2 (31:48):
Hey, it's another great day. This says doctor Willy Jolly.
Today's message is taking from my book. It only takes
a minute to change your life. If you want to
change your life, how long do you think it will take.
Most people think it would take a long time, but
in reality, it only takes a minute. The minute you
make a decision and moving a new direction is a
minute you change your life. You might not reach your
destination in a minute, but you certainly can change your
(32:10):
direction in a minute, and the minute you change your
direction and moving that new direction, you change your life.
Speaker 1 (32:16):
The problem is that most.
Speaker 2 (32:17):
People bounce around the idea and never move on the
action that takes to get gone. They get caught up
in the paralysis of analysis. Folks, I encourage you to
move on your ideas and you will see that it
is true that the minute you decide and move on
that decision is a minute you change your life.
Speaker 1 (32:34):
Hey, this is doctor Willy Jolly. Go to win with
Willi dot com. Win with Willie dot.
Speaker 7 (32:39):
Com for resources.
Speaker 2 (32:40):
They help you win more and remember to make the
most of leachion every minute because your best is still
yet to come.
Speaker 1 (32:47):
Make it a great day.
Speaker 4 (32:48):
God bless you.
Speaker 2 (32:49):

Speaker 6 (33:22):
And if all right, Cheryl, what are we talking about today?
Speaker 7 (33:29):
All right?
Speaker 6 (33:29):
Right before the holiday, you posted or you posed this
question to me and Griff from your talking points conversation cards.
And I thought it was a good getapole and I
think that something that the get up church would love
a little lighthearted. But what is a television show that
you would choose to live in? You know, while I
was in college, we watched Living Single religiously, like it
(33:50):
was our thing, Like we all, me and my housemates
would all get together and watch it. And at the
same time, of course, I live with four other girlfriends
and we were all single, so we would have loved
to live with Cadiza Regime Sinclair in Vaxine who lived
upstairs of course, in the brownstone that they had in
New York on Living Singles.
Speaker 7 (34:09):
So that was our show.
Speaker 6 (34:10):
I know a lot of people love friends and it
made history and all of that, but Living Single was
our show, and I would have loved to live with
them as girlfriends.
Speaker 7 (34:19):
So yeah, so I think mine.
Speaker 6 (34:22):
Was a different world either, a Different World or Martin
either one if I could have lived next door to
Shine and all the foolery that went on with them
Martin Crew.
Speaker 7 (34:33):
Oh gosh that or yeah, that a Different World was
so cool to me.
Speaker 6 (34:40):
I wanted to go to an HBCU so bad, just
from watching that show What About You, Griff.
Speaker 4 (34:46):
I wanted a white man to come pick me up
out the hood and bring me different strokes. Strokes, yeah,
take me, give me a black gold fish to always
like this black goldfish. But I probably if I had
to live in them all the time, I would say
Saturday Night Live and feeling guy.
Speaker 7 (35:08):
Of course, you would say, let me just be happy.
Speaker 1 (35:15):
I love it.
Speaker 10 (35:16):
You know.
Speaker 7 (35:17):
I don't want no murder shows. I don't want no
hospital show, want to live in the Sopranos, be dead.
Speaker 6 (35:26):
As a little girl, you I wanted to be a
part of the Brady bunch, even though you ain't never
really see too many black people at the BRWN. You
just kind of felt like you lived in this cool
house with the Brady kids and Marsha, Marsha, Marsha.
Speaker 7 (35:38):
You know right. So we want to know if it
was you, which TV show would you choose to live in?
Just for a bit, yo. Everybody loved that many Facts
of Life.
Speaker 4 (35:56):
All them girls. I definitely lived in Fact of Life.
I promise you.
Speaker 7 (36:02):
That's funny.
Speaker 6 (36:02):
So give us a call and tell us what TV
show you would choose to live in. Eight seven seven
two four two two four two six eight seven seven
two forty two two forty six.
Speaker 7 (36:11):
Get Up Morning.
Speaker 1 (36:15):

heard from us.
Speaker 7 (36:22):
Because I got through.
Speaker 5 (36:26):

you know one of the Cosby kids.
Speaker 7 (37:25):
Yeah, before everything happened, you know, we gotta do this.
Pray for Bill, Pray for Bill.
Speaker 4 (37:29):
But if I could be, I think they had enough
kids in the Cosby House, like I wouldn't want to know.
Speaker 7 (37:34):
They had a bunch of kids. And if I could
have been in an animated show, I'd have been in
he man, I want to.

Deale, thank you for calling.
Speaker 3 (37:52):

Speaker 3 (38:06):
I want to live it.
Speaker 7 (38:07):
Ah, that's funny. Wow, you haven't watched The Grass. I
never watched it.
Speaker 4 (38:13):

Speaker 7 (38:15):
Know what I was doing, but I know it was
that all that, But I don't know them people name.

me on, Get up on in set. Let's talk about
for God, so love the world. Yes, it is time
(41:34):
for the love talk of the day. And so I'm
following this page on social media. It's called Tonight's Conversation
and they always have real, real tough, difficult conversations about relationships.
And one of the people who came up to the
mic was a young man who said he definitely had
fundled the relationship that his girlfriend was a doctor and
(41:57):
you know he had that. Yeah, And while he was
there talking, she came up and they asked what was
going on, and she said he had been talking to
i'll just say women of another race and she wasn't
happy about it, and they affirmed her, they encouraged her.
They told her that she didn't have to play no
(42:18):
games with him. And right while they were talking to her,
another young man came up and asked her for her
phone number.
Speaker 7 (42:27):
Then all that, But what I.
Speaker 6 (42:28):
Thought was really cool is this is a platform where
they're really honest about divorced people coming back, why they
come back, allowing them to come back, your boundaries and
all the complexities that go with relationships. And I'm really
happy that it's not just the page that's bashing marriage
and that doesn't include God.
Speaker 7 (42:46):
That's what I think is really cool.
Speaker 6 (42:48):
They always it always refers back to trusting God and
loving who God said you are enough to not settle
for someone treating you like trash.
Speaker 7 (42:57):
And I don't think that's the some total of the
whole page.
Speaker 6 (43:01):
But I love that there is a place where they
are honest about it, because I think there's a lot
of circles where people just bash relationships, but there are
also a lot where they affirm them, like this page.
Speaker 7 (43:11):
Tonight's conversation is Black marriage movement.
Speaker 6 (43:14):
Of course, dear wife's dear future wifey, which is a
future wife because he got a wife. Now, I don't know,
white man, now, wifey, you gotta change, Yeah, you gotta
change your whole thing. But I'm just happy that there
are people having healthy conversations that include God's design for
love and relationships. So I even saw a statistic, and
(43:35):
I'll have to study and research and make sure that
it's true, but it said that marriage in the black
community is up twenty percent, and I think that's really cute.
And I want to just share this this morning because
so many people like, ain't nobody out there, ain't nobody
getting married, everybody's of this, and everybody's a that.
Speaker 7 (43:51):
Well that's not true.
Speaker 6 (43:51):
And there are people who are intentionally trying to find love,
trying to understand it, trying to be loved and love someone.
So I want you to lose hope as it relates
to love. Yes, there are other people like you. Don't
ever say that there's no one out there, right, because
you have what you say right, Your words have power,
and the enemy will allow you to see what you say,
especially if what you're saying doesn't line up with the word.
(44:14):
So if you're saying something negative, then I think all
hell goes into overdrive to make sure that you get
exactly what you say. And so watch watch what your
words as it relates to love and relationship. What God
can restore, how people can change, how things can be healed,
how can He can renew things. I've seen so many
amazing love stories over my life till I can't help
but believe in it, even through the good.
Speaker 7 (44:35):
Bad and the ugly.
Speaker 6 (44:36):
I've seen God do amazing things, and so I want
other people to believe that way as well. But first
you have to work on your heart. You have to
work on your ability to believe, because I don't want to.
I don't want you to be cynical about it. I
don't want you to be negative about it. You know,
I want God to stir your heart so when that
someone does come, you recognize them and you don't push
them away.
Speaker 7 (44:55):
Man who knows happily ever after could come from it?
I believe it can. All right, guys, that's the love
talk of the day.
Speaker 6 (45:01):
Stick around We've got trending topics in the quick sports
minute up next to them, Get Up Morning.
Speaker 1 (45:13):
If you're listening to Get Up Erica Camp, Get Up Morning, Erica.
Speaker 7 (45:19):
Find out what everybody's talking about right now.
Speaker 1 (45:22):
Take it over the web.
Speaker 10 (45:23):
What is it?
Speaker 1 (45:24):
It's trending topics up to the minute.
Speaker 6 (45:26):
All right, Cheryl, tell us what's trending today? Costco is
suing the president?
Speaker 7 (45:32):
Did you hear it?
Speaker 4 (45:33):
Never?
Speaker 7 (45:33):
Will you think?
Speaker 6 (45:34):
Just see the day that a big box retail store
would sue the president. But at last, here we are,
after President Donald Trump highly controversial tariff policy. Wholesale grocery
giant Costco is demanding a full refund in the form
of a lawsuit. You're not having it because it's forcing
you know, them to kind of increase, uh, you know, pricing,
(45:55):
and it really just touches their profit margin. The company
filed a law suit against the Trump administration in the
US Court of International Trade in New York. The November
twenty eighth suit declared Trump's economic plan, which sites the
nineteen seventy seven International Emergency Economic Power Act to impose tariffs,
as unlawful.
Speaker 7 (46:17):
And they're not the only ones either. Yeah, these stores
are fighting back. They're fighting it. They voted for him,
they voted for him, and now they're not fans don't know.
I'm not saying I voted for right, of course, but
I'm just saying the people did, yeah or not, so anyway,
(46:39):
hold it for him, they work it. I'm not gonna
say it.
Speaker 10 (46:42):
Now.
Speaker 7 (46:42):
We can't get free ce B at THEO because they mad.
Speaker 6 (46:49):
Right, no samples, no samples, like there's no reason to
go in no more.
Speaker 7 (46:55):
Why am I going? There's the people, all right?
Speaker 6 (47:00):
Also, guys, the NFL announced the pregame entertainment for the
Big Game this year, which will take place at the
Levi Stadium in Santa Clara, uh Sunday, February eighth, and
will air on NBC. So Charlie Puth, I think, is
the one who's going to be singing the national anthem,
you yeah, and then Brandy Carlisle is going to be

Father, I thank you, and I praise you for your goodness, mercy, grace, power, strength,
and love. Lord, thank you for your patience. Your word
says your mercy endures forever. You endure our foolishness, you
endure our wrong choices, and you still wake us up. Look,
you endure us choosing other things other people, Father, and
when we come back because we repent in turn, you
(53:34):
accept us. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Father for
the person that is going to choose you. Thank you
for the person that hears this prayer and knows that they.

You are good and your mercy endure it forever, and
we say thank you. We don't deserve it. Lord, could
have went another way, but you have been so kind
and so good, and so we thank you and praise
you Lord for this opportunity, even to share your goodness
with the world through music, through laughter, through conversation.
