Speaker 3 (02:55):
Care, and bias.
Speaker 5 (02:57):
The new mother's legal team said that the birth at
the Mesquite, Texas Hospital have been planned. Staying with that
same subject, Congresswoman Robin Kelly of Illinois introduced the Wells Act,
named for Mercedes Wells, who was discharged from an Indiana
hospital while in active labor. The bill would require hospitals
to implement safe discharge labor plans, expand racial bias training,
(03:22):
and strengthen accountability in maternal care. An Area Congresswoman Kelly
has long pushed Congress to address Many workers are feeling
overwhelmed about how to upskill in AI, worried that the
technology could make their hard earned skills obsolete. Three years
after the launch of check GPT, the narrative shifted from
(03:43):
AI versus humans to an understanding that AI is now
an essential skill rather than an optional one. Career expert
Keith Spencer say's professionals increasingly accept that AI will permanently
reshape the workplace and are focusing on how to adapt.

December sixth, eighteen sixty five. That's the day that slavery
was abolished with the ratification of the Thirteenth Amendment to
the US Constitution. President Lincoln's eighteen sixty three Emancipation Proclamation
declared enslaved people in Confederate States free, but did not
abolish slavery nationwide, prompting the need for a constitutional amendment.
(04:25):
The Thirteenth Amendment was sent to the States and ratified

Tampa Bay twenty four to twenty. Jacksonville beat the Coats,

To Get Up Faith Walking.
Speaker 1 (06:24):
Right now?
Speaker 3 (06:25):
A man faith, Yes, it is time for the faith
Walk of the day.
Speaker 2 (06:30):
And I remember a friend of mine, Pastor Albert take
I think we've played some of his clips here on.
Speaker 3 (06:36):
Get Up Mornings.
Speaker 2 (06:36):
He preached on Psalms twenty three and let me tell
you why it blessed me because he used the first
verse to make all the other verses make sense, right,
so he preached, the Lord is my shepherd. Right, And
if you know anything about shepherd, they guard the sheep.
They sleep in front of the gate so the sheep
won't get out. They get the sheep if they fall
(06:57):
in the pitch ditch. They protect the sheep from predators.
They feed the sheep. They walk the sheep. The sheep
know their voice. Literally. I was in Israel and watched
a sheep herder call the sheep, and all them coming.
Then he had everybody in the group call here's sheep,
here's sheep, and none of the sheep. They did not
(07:18):
move until he spoke. It is the most amazing thing
to watch. But he was preaching, the Lord is my shepherd.
I shall not want. He makes me lie down in
green pastures because the Lord is my shepherd, and I
shall not want. He leads me beside the still waters
because the Lord is my shepherd, and I shall not want.
He restores my soul because the Lord is my shepherd,
and I shall not want. He leads me in the
(07:40):
paths of righteousness for his namesake, because the Lord is
my shepherd, and I shall not want. For yay, though
I walk through the valley of the Shadow of death.
I will fear no evil because the Lord is my shepherd,
and I shall not want y'all. It was so powerful,
but everything reminded me that the Lord will take good
care of me. I fall off a cliff, the Lord
(08:01):
will take care of me. When I go the wrong way,
the Lord will take care of me. He will draw
me back to him. I will hear his voice and
I will follow his voice. If he's not your shepherd, however,
that's a different set of circumstances. If somebody else is
your shepherd, then when you fall in the dish and
you call his voice, you may not recognize him because
he ain't who you've been talking to. When you get
(08:22):
in a place of need, you may look for other
people to help you because you don't realize the Lord
is your shepherd and you don't have to want for anything,
because he literally will take care of everything. But when
you are not in communion with him, when you are
not in conversation with him, when you're not in relationship
with him, you know, you can casually know somebody, Oh yeah,
I know them kind of the social media know, like
(08:42):
I've seen a picture and I've seen a comment, but
I don't really know you.
Speaker 3 (08:46):
I don't know the sound of you.
Speaker 2 (08:47):
If you called my phone, I wouldn't know who you
were because I don't know your voice.
Speaker 3 (08:50):
I don't really know you.
Speaker 2 (08:52):
I want you to make sure that you really know
the Lord God, your shepherd, the Lord God who wants
to provide for you and take good care of you.
I want you to really know his voice. And how
do you know his voice? Through his word? Read his word?
What did he already do? What book did he leave
here for us as a blueprint to understand how he operates,
how he saves, how he heals, how he delivers, how
(09:13):
he draws us, how he uses us for his glory
even when we don't feel he quickly prepared. Why because
the Lord is our shepherd and we shall not want.
I want you to believe that. Get that in your
spirit today. So whatever you face, you face it with
your shepherd, your God, your Lord, your keeper, your savior,
your deliverer, your strong power, your power, your victory.
Speaker 3 (09:32):
That's who I want you to call on. All right,

Of course, it's a live recording because there's so many unpredictable,
unpredictable music things that happened. Plus God was all up

It was so beautiful, it was so wonderful. I was tired,
but I was glad to be there. I rode there
with Tina, who lost her phone, and she was just
as calm about it and she didn't trip, and she
was like, I'm gonna get a new phone or I won't.
That's not Tina's normal practice. I was very proud of her.
We go through the whole conference. Her and my sister
come hang out my house. After that, she gets a
(16:34):
call and says, hey, your phone's here at Delta.
Speaker 1 (16:37):
They don't do that.
Speaker 2 (16:37):
Oh I know, carreboards don't do that, y'all. She was like, Lord,
I'm just so grateful that I just left it in
your hands. I didn't worry it, stress about my numbers,
my phones, my contacts, my notes, my music, my contracts,
whatever is in that phone. She didn't trip about it,
and God gave her a phone back. It was great.
Then we had church on Sunday morning. Pastor Campbell was
(16:58):
not in the building because he was recovering from the recording,
and me and Tina had to hold it down.
Speaker 3 (17:05):
I did one thing, and she did another thing and
then cheated another thing.
Speaker 2 (17:07):
It was it was kind of marry Mary Church, which
was very do.

with the Atlanta and Atlanta gets eight matches in the

my good friends, Kim Williams. She and her husband has
have a marriage ministry and she just released a new book.
It's called Thirty Days, How to Get Married in thirty
Days because she met her husband in thirty days they
got married. But the book is really about following the
lead in the voice of the Lord, you know what
I mean. So it's a really really good Yeah, I'm
(19:36):
gonna try to get her on because it's such a good,
good book and good read of her, of her being
obedient to the father, and so it's it was.
Speaker 3 (19:43):
It's good.
Speaker 2 (19:43):
And then you know, just church on Sunday and doing
the family things, putting more Christmas stuff up, you know,
just one of those beginnings.
Speaker 3 (19:52):
Not everything. No, I'm doing a place by my house
twinkling so bright.
Speaker 2 (19:55):

The Day, Get Up Mornings with Erica Cable.
Speaker 3 (21:08):
Well listen, y'all. I said, I'm a little different, and
I don't mind sharing that I'm a little different, and
different in a good way.
Speaker 14 (21:17):
Right.
Speaker 3 (21:17):
This is not a bad different, you know.
Speaker 2 (21:19):
This is a me accepting who I am and.
Speaker 3 (21:23):
And how I feel.
Speaker 2 (21:24):
I was talking to a friend who is dating a
very nice guy. I think that they will get married,
but the back and forthness of we're together, but I
don't want the pressure, so we don't technically go together.
Speaker 3 (21:38):
But the calling and hanging out and having.
Speaker 2 (21:39):
Dinners and you know, being affectionate with each other and
all that, but we not together. And so I was
trying to explain that that's sending all the wrong messages
to her heart. Right, I will do all these things
to do. I will talk to you, I will hang
with you. I will even tell people that I want
to marry you. When I talk to you, I'll say yes.
The title gives me pressure, baby, Let me help you
(22:02):
if the title gets you pressure, because the title keeps
him from being responsible. That's what the lack of the
title does. It doesn't mean that there's no pressure there.
It means no pressure for him because you want the title,
you like the title, you believe that the title is good.
The title says yes, we're both committed, but all the
things without the title says you don't have to commit me,
commit to me, and I will still give you all
(22:23):
of me, and you end up with a broken heart.
It is not a way for someone to make a
decision who doesn't want to make a decision. The only
way a person that doesn't want to make a decision
to make a decision is if I'm not getting the
things that I say that I want. If I only
want the access but I don't want the commitment, you're
not helping by saying it's okay with no title.
Speaker 3 (22:45):
I feel like many people have done this for many years.
We've been fine, we've been together fifteen years.
Speaker 2 (22:49):
Way it's always one person's heart that has had to
reconcile and make it okay. I just have a hard
time believing that that comes from a genuine place of
wanting to be there. When me and Warren were in
our process back in our twenties, and he said he
wanted space, and I said okay, and he called me
(23:11):
the next day. My first question was, why are you
calling me? And he said, oh, you don't want to
talk to me. I said, I wouldn't have dated you.
I wouldn't have took your ring. I wouldn't have said
yes to be and your wife if I don't want
to talk to you. But you said you need space,
so take space away. That means a way from me.
That don't mean you get to talk to me and
hold my hand and come to my house and I
take me no, no, feel what it feels like to
(23:32):
be a way.
Speaker 3 (23:32):
Take the space a part, and if you like that space,
I'll cry for a.
Speaker 2 (23:36):
Good two weeks, but I'll be okay and I will
get over because I'm not to buy myself kind of girl.
And this is not a it wasn't a ultimatum at all.
It was truly take the space, but you're not gonna
talk to me while you're taking space. Because I felt
a way about myself. I felt I love myself enough
to say I won't. I won't let you tell me
(23:56):
that I don't want to talk to you or be
committed but still talk to me. I love myself enough
to not allow that in my life. I wasn't just
waiting around to hope that you would choose me.
Speaker 3 (24:08):
You gonna tell me you choose me, and if you don't,
then I have to make the decision. I have to make. God,
that's just real life.
Speaker 2 (24:14):
And I think there are a lot of people who
have been hanging on for so long, hoping and waiting
that the person will do the right thing. But there's
no requirement to do it. There's no reason to do
it if they still. If I go to the restaurant
and I buy my food and you never make me pay, baby.
Speaker 3 (24:28):
I'm going to that restaurant all the time.
Speaker 2 (24:31):
If I go to a gas station and they always
give me half of what I should actually be paying for,
I'm going to that gas station period. If you are
giving them everything that they want without saying I want
to be committed to you forever, they're not gonna do it.
Speaker 3 (24:46):
I love you, and I mean it so much.
Speaker 2 (24:47):
That is my Erkaism, reflecting on my dating years and
conversations that I still have with people today because it
still happens.
Speaker 3 (24:55):
And so what decision do you make for you. How
do you choose you?
Speaker 2 (25:01):
How do you choose what you want and what you
are worthy of and what you desire without giving little
pieces of yourself away with getting nothing in return. I
love you so much. That is my ism of the day.
You deserve more. Hey, did you hear me? Yes, Hugh,
I'm talking to you. You deserve more. That's the chism
it was for you. Stick around.
Speaker 3 (25:21):
The joys and.
Speaker 2 (25:21):
Concerns are of Maxis get at morning.
Speaker 6 (25:29):
If you're listening to get up, that's a church. Say Amen,
the time for joys and concerns.

Speaker 4 (26:39):
Yes, yes, man, we told you about our weekend. Pray
your weekend was just as blessed. Went to go see
the soul seekers at the House of Hope in Atlanta,

Smith and was sitting across from Erica and Tina, who

(27:03):
Miles and uh Tammy haddn't name. Yes, Yes, I was
sitting across from them, and I walk over there. It
was a little break and I was like. I walked
over to Eric.
Speaker 3 (27:14):
I said, man, Eric.
Speaker 4 (27:16):
Warren is shamming that long neck base. I love it, man,
I'm about to get a base. And she looked at
me in my eyes so intently and said, for what,
you can't play? I said, yeah, but I'm gonna. I'm
gonna learn how to play. She said, okay.
Speaker 3 (27:34):
I said, no, for real. She said okay, and I
walked off with my.
Speaker 4 (27:38):
Tail between my legs back to where I was sitting,
and La Nigga.
Speaker 3 (27:43):
Said, what's the man? I said, Erica said, I can't
play the bass. La Nigga said, so you can.
Speaker 4 (27:54):
She did say, now, if she was being specific, you
can't now, but eventually you could learn. I'm gonna learn
how to play the bass. I like the bass. I
want to learn that.
Speaker 3 (28:08):
He a d g I got.
Speaker 4 (28:10):
Now somebody in the guard dang, Griff, she ain't hurt
your feelings.
Speaker 3 (28:13):
You just sensitive.
Speaker 4 (28:14):
I was a sensitive thank you. So the soul seekers
made me tender. They were singing all this music. Then
I went all over all lovely. Now somebody else saying, uh,
play what you want to play, Griff, good, you get
saying alright.
Speaker 3 (28:26):
But if you like me and you know, I'm gonna
learn how to play the bass. And in the back
of my mind all I'm a hear is you can't
play the base.
Speaker 2 (28:37):
Don't get mad at me because I got because I
got authority.
Speaker 3 (28:39):
Of my words and my dolp. Because you could have
clearly said I don't care I play it anyway.
Speaker 2 (28:46):
You can't want you gonna buy you don't you don't play, Okay,
all right, I would learn to play and then get
one because it's a big investment.
Speaker 3 (28:53):
But you get it and you can practice.
Speaker 1 (28:55):
No.
Speaker 3 (28:56):
Yeah, I already been looking at bassis on.
Speaker 4 (28:59):
I'm gona learn to get How I'm gonna learn if
I don't have one?
Speaker 3 (29:02):
Well, based on your tambourine skills.
Speaker 2 (29:05):

Speaker 3 (29:28):
You better declare it and say.
Speaker 2 (29:29):
That it's gonna be a day of victory all day long.
Favor and mercy gonna follow me all day long. Save
that to yourself. Coming up eleven minutes after the hour,
we'll talk with J and I Fortune, our finance and
legacy expert for money Monday.
Speaker 3 (29:43):
Also wake up and win with doctor Willie Jolly. We
love him.
Speaker 2 (29:46):
The message today is the strong the wind, The stronger
the wind, the stronger the trees.
Speaker 3 (29:53):
All right.
Speaker 2 (29:53):
Music from Yolanda Adams, Rudy Currents and Mary Mary. You

Speaker 3 (30:02):
Horn, thou shalt remember the lords I got. It is
he that give us the power to get Many.
Speaker 2 (30:12):
Of our listeners may be feeling the effects of the
financial strain this year, and the holidays can add more
stress to an already frustrating situation. So invitations to events
and holiday parties require us to spend money that we
do not have.
Speaker 3 (30:27):
We may not have our money.
Speaker 2 (30:29):
Expert Jani Thorton's here to give us tips for enjoying
the holiday season without the stressful situations.
Speaker 15 (30:36):
Good morning, Jani, Good morning, Erica, Good morning.
Speaker 4 (30:39):
Chris, Good morning teaching how to say no Janni, Come on.
Speaker 3 (30:45):
No change? Okay?
Speaker 2 (30:48):
How do we help the listeners avoid financial stress this
holiday season?
Speaker 15 (30:53):
And it's funny. My first piece of advice is exactly
what Griff said is we have to decide to do
less this year, make some changes, and make a decision
to be okay with that. You know, we do not
need to feel guilty about what we can and cannot do.
And listen, we all know we have a budget. You know,
whether we follow with or not Christmas, this holiday seision
(31:16):
should not create financial stress. For us and we should
not be paying for Christmas six months after Christmas has passed. Yeah,
well how did this start? How did this standard even start?
Speaker 3 (31:30):
Right?
Speaker 6 (31:31):
You know?
Speaker 2 (31:32):
I think we just involved into just doing more. So
our listeners need to find out how they can have
fun on a budget and things that they can do
in their city.
Speaker 3 (31:39):
What are a few options for them.
Speaker 15 (31:41):
There's several sites raka people can use, even event bright, Yelp,
or you can type in the word discover in the
city that you want to check out in Google and
it will help you come up with great ideas, even
free ideas. We know these kids can research and find anything.
Please to loose honi, listen and let them do the
(32:02):
research and come up with ideentiti that y'all can do
for cheap.
Speaker 9 (32:06):
Or for free.
Speaker 3 (32:07):
I love it.
Speaker 2 (32:07):
Okay, So no one wants to overspend while shipping gifts.
What are the shipping deadlines that we should be aware of?
So many people it's Christmas is like, yeah it's coming
on the twenty ninth because they weren't looking at the
right shipping dates.
Speaker 3 (32:19):
So help us out.
Speaker 15 (32:21):
Please make sure you check the shipping dates for your
favorite retailers. They're going to let you know when you
need to place your orders by. But just as a
standard this holiday season, you really need to have your
gifts in the mail by December seventeenth to pay the
cheapest amounts and one of them do the Post Office
FedEx ups sixteenth of the seventeenth. Y'all really need to
(32:43):
get those boxes in the mail and off to your
loved ones.
Speaker 4 (32:47):
So for the people that travel, what is in the
last minute travel tips to help us save money and
avoid stress, because it can be if you let it
be stress, if you let.
Speaker 15 (32:58):
It listen for sure, this is the time really to
maximize your points or miles. So for those of us
who have these credit card points or miles, if you're
traveling on a budget, what a great time now to
pay for your flights, your hotel, your ground transportation using
those miles and points so you can hold onto that
money for sure. And y'all know the food in the
(33:19):
airport costs of a jillion.
Speaker 3 (33:20):
Dollars forty dollars water.
Speaker 15 (33:23):
It is so ridiculous right now, Please make sure these
kids pack their snacks in advance what they want to eat,
so you don't have to spend all that money in.
Speaker 3 (33:30):
The airport listen.
Speaker 2 (33:31):
Tina is already following them RUMs. My sister Tina got
so much food at the airport.
Speaker 3 (33:35):
I'd been like girl, if the airport shut down, we're
good for three days.
Speaker 2 (33:39):
So listen, I understand giving it an aluminum Oh no,
she's the most beautiful little bag for her food.
Speaker 3 (33:47):
It's all enough, Yes, y'all.
Speaker 2 (33:49):
We are talking with our financial legacy experts, and I
thought and trying to make sure that we don't let
the season over while miss Thank you so much, but
tell us how we can follow you on social media
and get more financial information and tips.
Speaker 15 (34:02):
You can always follow me at Jeni Thornton. That j
I N I T h.
Speaker 3 (34:06):
O r N T A win.
Speaker 15 (34:07):
That's across all the social media platforms and my website
as well. Happy holidays, everybody.
Speaker 2 (34:12):
Happy holidays, Mary Chris Mass, y'all stick around the Get
Up Paul is coming up next to them.
Speaker 3 (34:17):
Get Up Mornings with Me, Eric Kim.
Speaker 6 (34:27):
If you're listening to Get Up with Erica Kim, it's
trying to wake up and win with doctor Willie Jolly.
Speaker 1 (34:42):
Hey, it's another great day.
Speaker 10 (34:44):
This is doctor Willy Jolly, author of the book A
set Back as a set up for a comeback of today.
Speaker 1 (34:48):
And it's time of challenge. I want to give you
tips to come back.
Speaker 10 (34:51):
Set Backs are temporary reversals by the not the end
of your story. You might lose a business, but as
long as you have life and breath, you can build
a bigger, better, stronger business. We have seen people who
have been through hurricanes and tornadoes who have lost everything
and have come back. We have seen people who have
had to file for bankruptcy but have come back stronger
and smarter and wiser and gone on to build billion
(35:12):
dollar empires. We all know Disneyland in Disney World, but
did you know that before Walt Disney created them, he
lost everything, He went bankrupt and was penniless. But he
continued to dream and fight for that dream and went
on to build an empire.
Speaker 1 (35:28):
So you too can come back from setbacks.
Speaker 10 (35:31):
You must continue to keep the faith, dream big, and
be willing to keep working and fighting for your dreams.
Speaker 1 (35:37):
This is doctor Willie jolly Hey. Go to win with
Willy dot com. Win with Willy dot com.
Speaker 10 (35:41):
For resources to help you win more, and remember to
make the most of every minute because your best is
yet to come.
Speaker 1 (35:47):
You've heard from.
Speaker 3 (35:47):
Us, I'm so excited really because that grew and get off,
all right, Cheryl, what are we talking about today?
Speaker 1 (35:58):
All right?
Speaker 2 (35:58):
So let me just start by saying, and I love
this show right because just as it's been a blessing
to our listeners, you know, it ministers to us first.
And so you did a faith walk called Processing through Pain,
and I told you that it hit home because I
was processing the fact that my sister in love had
a reoccurring cancer diagnosis and I just couldn't shake it,
(36:22):
Like I don't know, I mean, you know how you
have faith a family and sometimes you just be like, girl,
you know you're gonna beat this before whatever. I just
couldn't shake it. And as a family, we begin to
turn up our level of faith in prayer, and so
in our service, my niece and I got to, you know,
started praying, and I pray specifically God astonished the doctors
and she was also my sister in love was also
(36:44):
in a prayer meeting that week, and she said it
stirred up her faith and she just believed God was
going to take care of it. And so last week
she went to the oncologist to begin treatment and when
they ran the skin again, there was no trace of cancer, y'all.
Speaker 3 (36:59):
Answer in her body. And the doctor was so amazed. Again,
he was astonished. He was so amazed.
Speaker 2 (37:04):
He ran two more extensive scans and compared the scans
from the first time. And you know, somebody would just say, well,
you know, it was just a misdiagnosis.
Speaker 3 (37:14):
But I believe it was a miracle from God. I
believe it was.
Speaker 2 (37:17):
A miracle from God because you see one thing in
one scan and then you don't see it again in
another scan, and there was no operation, no medical treatment
or nothing that could have erased it.
Speaker 3 (37:27):
Yeah, God did that. God did that.
Speaker 2 (37:30):
And so I want to talk about it because you know,
we did this once before and it was just so powerful.
Because people still need to believe that God is working miracles.
He is a miracle working God. So you know, I
want us to testify today about his miracle working power.
What you know, what has God? You know, has God
worked a miracle in your life? Is what our question
is today. Oh listen, I got so many miracles stuff
(37:53):
that God has done. So many Actually, as I had
an assist on my ovary and my twenty and they
said it was the size of an orange, and I
would have to get a surgery. Well, in my twenties,
I was good and broke not one ounce of insurance nowhere,
and I said, I can't afford the doctor. I just
you know, I didn't even call and ask nobody for
no money. I was just like, I can't afford the doctor.
But when I tell you, I went to prayer, prayer
(38:16):
and more prayer. I went to a Thursday night healing
and deliverance service. I went to a Friday night youth service.
I went to a Sunday service, and I was in
the prayer line at each service. I had a doctor's
appointment on that Monday.
Speaker 3 (38:25):
Monday.
Speaker 2 (38:26):
When they did the scan to further tell me what
I could do, it was not there. They could not
find it. So I know God heals. I know sometimes
he shrinked that thing and it's absolutely gone. And so
I know the power of miracles and what it does
to your faith. It does, oh man, right when you
need it. So listen, has God worked a miracle for you?
(38:49):
Give us a call and something that you know no
man could do.
Speaker 4 (38:53):
That God, get one thousand of them. It's all good.
I want to hear everybody else's okay.
Speaker 2 (38:58):
But there it is there, give us a call all
eight seven seven two four two two four to two six.
Has God worked a miracle for you? Eight seven seven
two four two two four two six. We want to
hear your miracle. Share it with us right here.
Speaker 3 (39:10):
I'm Get Up Mornings.
Speaker 6 (39:25):
If you're listening to Get Up with Erica Camp, you've
heard from us now.
Speaker 11 (39:31):
I'm so excited really because I got through it.
Speaker 2 (39:33):
I didn't exactly get a whole is all morning today
we are talking about our miracle working God. Has God
worked a miracle for you? We want to hear from
you today. Let's talk to Brianna and Baltimore. Hey, Brianna
and Baltimore, has God worked a miracle in your life?
Speaker 3 (39:49):
Says yes, ma'am.
Speaker 1 (39:51):
Good morning, Good morning.
Speaker 3 (39:52):
How's everyone doing doing good? Amazing?
Speaker 14 (39:55):
Good?
Speaker 1 (39:56):
Well.
Speaker 14 (39:56):
I was calling because I just felt compelled to share
my story.
Speaker 12 (40:00):
Sorry.
Speaker 14 (40:00):
My husband and I we've been together for almost ten years,
and throughout that time of we have experienced infertility. And
the doctors told us that, you know, it wasn't going
to happen and that children weren't in our future.
Speaker 3 (40:14):
But I'm gonna tell.
Speaker 14 (40:15):
You God is so good because I am currently pregnant
and our baby girl is.
Speaker 3 (40:24):
Iraguation.
Speaker 14 (40:26):
Thank you man today, thank you so much, thank you God.
Speaker 7 (40:30):
It's so good and so faithful, and I just want
to tell people don't give up.
Speaker 2 (40:36):
Oh God, bless you. Thank you for sharing that. God
bless the baby.
Speaker 7 (40:41):
Thank you so much. Thank you, y'all have a beautiful day.
Speaker 2 (40:44):
Bye bye, William and Virginia's on the line. Hey, William,
do you have a miracle to share with us today?
Speaker 3 (40:50):
Yes.
Speaker 9 (40:50):
In twenty twenty four, December twenty twenty four, I went
into cardiac arrest. I actually had no heartbeat, no nothing, seeing,
no oxy into my brain for twenty minutes. My wife
performed CPR. She performed CPR and to the ambulances, to
the emergency team got there. They had to shock me
(41:11):
five times, got me back to the got me to
the hospital. Once I got to the hospital, I went
into cardiac arrest again. They shocked me one time. I
was totally no heartbeat for forty minutes. And I'm here
today glory sign and honoring God. I'm a pastor right
here in Norfolk. And to God be the Glory, Church
(41:36):
the Glory.
Speaker 3 (41:37):
Yes, you were that Life.

Thank you, Pastor.
Speaker 9 (41:51):
All right, bless you.
Speaker 4 (41:53):
Eighteeven six is time for the get up pole. Let's
go to terror in North Carolina. Tara briefly tell us americle.
God is done in your life.
Speaker 7 (42:04):
Yes.
Speaker 12 (42:04):
So, I was traveling home from Virginia last week on Monday,
and I ended up getting hit by a mack truck
and I would have thought I didn't see him coming
or anything like that, and I would have thought it
would have went another way. But God was able to
see me and I just walked away. My car was total,
but I was walked away with just some stores and
(42:26):
some bruises.
Speaker 2 (42:28):
Thank you, Father, thank you Jesus. Wow, God, bless you.
Thank you for sharing that with us. Glad you were
alive to call us exactly. Thank you.
Speaker 3 (42:36):
Hey man. Okay, bye bye bye.
Speaker 4 (42:38):
Let's go to Baltimore and talk to Glenda. Glenda tell
us a miracle. God is done in your life.
Speaker 11 (42:43):
Sys Hi, I'm Glenda. Thank you so much for taking
my call. I've never been on the radio before.
Speaker 1 (42:49):
Something is exciting.
Speaker 3 (42:50):
I'm welcome I.
Speaker 11 (42:53):
Can never get through. So thank you God, I got
through today. So I was prying like ten years old,
and my father who past who's my pastor all my life?
Raised more up in the faith and I had I
was diagnosed with scoliosis. And funny story, I didn't want
to go to school one day and frightened up like
the age of eight, I guess and I made up
(43:13):
a story that is the usual headache. I decided, well,
let me just say my back or hurt, because we
won't believe the head anything. Well, come to find out,
they kept me home slow and I actually had a
back problem. Thinking I was getting out of school and
found out I had scoliosis. Wow, Well, long story short.
I hit the X rays, they saw the spine curvature.
They told the doctor my parents that I would have
(43:34):
to either have sigery or wear a brace for the
rest of my life. So they got the braids fitted me.
I was with this brace by the age of ten,
I was being teased. I didn't want to wear the
bracelet wore. I told my father I believed that would
heal my back. Daddy, I don't want to wear this
brace anymore. He said, well, baby, if you got faith
and believe. I believe, which is you don't have to
wear that bracelet more took the braces off me, went
back to a follow up appointment that scoliosis was gone.
(43:56):
They put an X ray up the new They showed
my spine straight as the arrow and I am now
fifty six years old, never had to never have to
go back to a brace. God healed me. That was
a miracle in my life, my own personal testimony. I
know God is a miracle worker.
Speaker 1 (44:14):
I love my Father in the church.
Speaker 11 (44:16):
Yes, he even healed in for in church. One of
my sisters was third degree burned. The meat was pink church.

Le's get up morning.
Speaker 4 (45:31):
Let's talk about love for God, so love the world, y'all.
Speaker 2 (45:35):
Love talk morning, Hey, good people, It's time for the
Love Talk of the day, and today I want to
talk about love and families and how difficult it can be,
especially at this time of year.
Speaker 9 (45:47):
Y'all.
Speaker 3 (45:47):
Every family is not created equal, and.
Speaker 2 (45:50):
That doesn't mean that you are any less loved or valuable,
but I do just want to I want to challenge
the parents to stop making one child carry the weight
of the other child because maybe you feel like they're
more successful, or they represent a time in your life
where you felt good about yourself. And the first of all,
kids don't ask to be here, right and once they
(46:12):
get here, they deserve to be loved. But I know
that that's not always the case. And so for those
of you whose hearts are heavy because maybe you can't
go home for the holidays, or maybe you got to
stand at the door and take a deep breath before
you get in the door, let me tell you something
about God's love.
Speaker 3 (46:27):
It is not reflective of their lack.
Speaker 2 (46:30):
God's love for you and the amazingness that is you
is not reflective of them. Leaving you out was the
things they won't acknowledge, the things that you went through
that you know broke your heart. I pray God's healing
over your heart and your ability to love. Everybody is
dealing with their own understanding, trauma, brokenness, their own story.
(46:50):
The way they see the world, your parents' aunts, people
and older than you don't see it the way you do.
Is it unfair a thousand percent? But I want you
to be free, and I don't want you to feel
like I can only get free if.
Speaker 3 (47:03):
They say something to you.
Speaker 2 (47:04):
They may apologize and they may change, But once your
heart is hurt, you got to take heart that hurt
to the father. What I've realized is I've had many
people apologize to me in my life and their apology
was good, but it didn't heal me.
Speaker 3 (47:17):
God did. It didn't make me better. God did.
Speaker 2 (47:20):
And so stop expecting a human to do what a
supernatural God.
Speaker 3 (47:24):
Wants to do for you.
Speaker 2 (47:25):
And if you allow God to heal your heart as
you go through the process of healing in the relationship,
whether that is therapy or the boundaries you need to set,
you feel different. And I want your heart to feel
safe even though maybe they didn't.
Speaker 3 (47:38):
Do what they were supposed to do.
Speaker 2 (47:39):
I love you so much, and I know this is
a true reality for a lot of people, that your
family is not what you wish it would.
Speaker 3 (47:45):
Be, and maybe it won't be. And so I don't
want to give you false hope. But I want to
tell you that God can heal you.
Speaker 2 (47:51):
I want to tell you that you can still have it,
you can still experience it, and you can still be
expression of His love.
Speaker 3 (47:56):
You can still love other.
Speaker 2 (47:57):
People fully and completely the way God wants us to write,
love one another as God loves us.
Speaker 3 (48:03):
Right, that's scripture, that's Bible. Right, We're supposed to love.
Speaker 2 (48:06):
One another, and we would think that it would come
from our family, but it doesn't always. And so if
that is your story, first, let me say I'm sorry
because I know that hurts your heart.
Speaker 3 (48:14):
But I know God can heal and restore, and you
do not have to live broken. You do not have
to live.
Speaker 2 (48:18):
Afraid of love and afraid of relationship because God is
a healer and He truly is the lover of your soul.
Speaker 3 (48:25):
All right, that's my love talk of the day. I
love you and I meet it. Y'all. Stick around. We
got more on the ways. Get up on it.
Speaker 6 (48:39):

Speaker 1 (49:51):
It's a rap.
Speaker 3 (49:52):
They don't figured this thing out.
Speaker 2 (49:53):
They figured it out, and this thing is crazy because
you know, they got rid of Sesame Street since Sasame
Street on PBS, and so Netflix picked it up. HBO
was carrying carrying it and now and Netflix decided to
carry it. And then the crazy part is now Netflix
owned HBO so they can put it back on HBO update.
(50:14):
You know, Trump said this is a problem, right, Yeah, yeah,
you know it's gonna be something. And that's what everybody's
thinking that, you know, because of FCC regulations, he gonna
try to he's gonna try to stop that acquisition because
a lot of people he wants another company or family
to purchase it. Is we're gonna be following the story.
(50:34):
But that that was huge news on Friday. All right, guys,
so Jermaine Jackson, Okay, I can't he get up?
Speaker 4 (50:42):
He got seven more haircuts on the same hair style.
Come on, Jackson, here, let's go. He went on social media.
Speaker 2 (50:50):
He was talking about he came on to talk about
how they're about to do this big museum in Monaco
for his brother, you know, Michael Jackson. Right, So this
announcement is huge because it's talking about how it's going
to be in the French riviera and they're gonna have
you know, a lot of memorabilia from the Jackson's to
(51:11):
Michael Jackson.
Speaker 3 (51:12):
But nobody was listening.
Speaker 2 (51:13):
To the announcement because all of the comments was based
on this man's hair.
Speaker 4 (51:19):
He's still got the fives hairstyles. Well, here's what makes
him so sexy. You got a finger wave on the
left side. He got a little in the front.
Speaker 3 (51:30):
He got a firm brown.
