Key trends across the globe in compliance and investigations

In our first episode DLA Piper’s Global Compliance and Investigations partners Adam Vause, Patrick Rappo and Naana Frimpong discuss the key trends emerging in the enforcement and regulatory landscape across EMEA, Asia Pac, and the Americas.  This is a whistle-stop tour of the key emerging issues that we see our clients facing. We highlight the developments we think you should be aware of, so that your organisation can adequately prepare.

Adam Vause, is Co-Head of DLA Piper’s Global Compliance and Investigations team. Adam is based in our Dubai office, and advises major corporates and financial institutions on fraud, asset tracing, compliance and investigation matters. Adam has previously worked at the Serious Fraud Office as an investigative lawyer and prosecutor.

Naana Frimpong is a partner based in DLA Piper’s Atlanta office, and is on the DLA Piper Africa Board. Naana has 17 years’ experience as a federal prosecutor, focusing on investigations and financial fraud.

Patrick Rappo is Co-Head of DLA Piper’s Global Compliance and Investigations team. Patrick is based in our London office. Prior to joining DLA Piper, Patrick was Joint Head of the Bribery and Corruption divisions at the UK Serious Fraud Office (SFO).  His practice focuses on a range of corporate and white-collar crime matters, international bribery, corruption, money laundering, fraud, and sanctions issues.
