Thierry Geerts est à la tête de Google Belgique depuis 10 ans, c'est un observateur attentif et passionné de la digitalisation de la société et de l'économie. Il en convient, la Belgique a clairement raté le train du digital, mais ce n'est pas pour autant une raison de baisser les bras. Tout est encore possible, nous dit-il, à condition d'afficher une ambition forte qui inclut la société toute entière et tous les secteurs économiques.
Fasciné par l'Expo 58, Thierry Geerts voit dans cette période un âge d'or où la Belgique avait su faire preuve d'ambition et créé un enthousiasme commun autour de la technologie et du progrès qui en découlait.
