Magotteaux est une entreprise spécialisée dans la fabrication de pièces à haute performance pour le concassage et le broyage, utilisées dans les mines, les carrières, et les sites de recyclage. Elle est implantée dans 150 pays et compte 3.200 salariés.
Sébastien Dossogne, son patron, est un fervent partisan d'un vaste mouvement de réindustrialisation de la Wallonie, de la Belgique et de l'Europe. Mais pas à n'importe quel prix.
Pour ce banquier devenu patron dans l'industrie lourde, l'entreprise est l'une des organisations les plus vertueuses du monde, à condition de respecter une ligne de conduite stricte à propos des normes sociales et environnementales.
"Avoir des standards sociaux élevés n'est pas un avantage compétitif, ce n'est pas une question de rentabilité, mais une question de valeur, explique-t-il, avant d'ajouter, pour moi, une entreprise est un citoyen comme les autres."
