Over the holiday, people may have seen cognitive changes in their loved ones that lead them to wonder if they have dementia. Ginny talked about the steps you want to talk, the support you can get right now, and the importance of detecting and treating dementia early. She explained that not every cognitive change was dementia and it was important to get with a Neurologist or Gerontologist as soon as you can to determine what’s going on. She also talked about the incredible support you can get from the Alzheimer’s Association hotline and the website.
