In de vijfde aflevering van de podcast Kapper van de Sterren komt Bobbi Eden langs in de kapsalon van Siko van Berkel om haar lokken te laten kleuren. In de kappersstoel is Bobbi openhartig over haar routines en de rolverdeling in huis, maar ook over de gezondheid van haar man Mark. Begin 2024 werd Mark met spoed opgenomen in het ziekenhuis; hij had een buikwandbreuk, waardoor zijn darmen klem zaten. "Hij heeft er veel te lang mee rondgelopen, waardoor zijn hele ingewanden naar buiten kwamen en al zijn functies uitvielen. Ik dacht dat het niet meer goed ging komen."
In de podcast deelt Bobbi wat voor impact dit op haar en haar gezin heeft gehad. "Het was vreselijk. Je weet niet hoe het met hem gaat en het kwam onverwachts. Ik wilde niet dat Brandon zich zorgen ging maken, want hij werd ook wakker van het geschreeuw van Mark."
