Las exequias del papa Francisco comienzan este miércoles con el traslado de su féretro a la basílica de San Pedro, donde permanecerá hasta el sábado para recibir el homenaje de los fieles. En distintos países continúan las misas en su memoria. En Nueva York, el cardenal Timothy Michael Dolan lo describió como “un regalo de Dios”; en Colombia, Rubén Salazar Gómez destacó su coherencia, y en Ecuador los fieles recordaron su compromiso social.
Paralelamente, el Gobierno presenta una inversión adicional de 10.471 millones de euros en defensa, generando rechazo entre sus socios.
Otros asuntos que marcarán la agenda informativa del miércoles: Víctor de Aldama ha sido citado por el PSOE por injurias. Álvaro Pombo recibe el Premio Cervantes y Cataluña celebra Sant Jordi.
