Cal and Erin's first date went so well they ended up closing down the sports bar where they were hanging out and Cal even walked Erin to her car to say goodnight. Like to welcome Cal to the show this morning. Who
had a first date with Aaron but no second date?
So Cal, tell us, how did you meet Aaron?
Speaker 2 (00:07):
Yeah? Hey, guys, well thanks for having me first of all.
Yeah yeah, yeah yeah. So, uh, me and Aaron having
meet your friend at work is basically long time. Okay,
my friend at work set me up on this like
blind date kind of, you know. He said that, you know,
all the guys in the office tried to score with
Aaron and you know, it didn't work out, and so
he thought that I had a good chance because you know,

we didn't work together directly, and he thought, you know,
I was kind of like, you know, a good fit
or whatever.
Speaker 1 (00:33):
You know, so you'd say, with her score, with her score.
Speaker 3 (00:38):
Yeah, So was this like an office bet type thing? No, no, no,
that's start.
Speaker 2 (00:45):
It was. No, it was it wasn't. It wasn't like that.
I think I think you know where he was trying
to put into perspective. You know that that you know Aaron,
he's like cool and stuff, and she's like, you know
that that hot chick in the office that you see
in the movies, and all the guys want to date
and all that. But like she doesn't give them the
time of day. And you know she, you know, she
my friend figured that you know, me, me and her

would like hit it off, or maybe I had more
of a chance. That's what he thought. That's that's all
he thought.
Speaker 4 (01:14):
I wonder if we already know the reason why you
a call back, why don't you tell us about the day?
Speaker 2 (01:19):
Cal Oh, yeah, I mean, yeah, cool. It was a
typical day. You know, we we went to dinner to
break it off, you know, break break the ice. I mean,
not break it off. We didn't. We didn't break it
off immediately. We broke the ice and you know that's
where we hit it off. It's what I meant to say.
But uh, you know it was. It was cool. You know,
she was cool. You know, we talked about sports and

stuff and we we even went to a sports bar.
App we got sports and you know, we drank a
little bit and we hung out and it was cool.
You know, we hung out to the bar clothing and stuff.
Speaker 1 (01:47):
Nice.
Speaker 3 (01:47):
Okay, afterwards, did you walk her to her car and
all that good stuff like a proper gentleman?
Speaker 2 (01:52):
Of course, yes, of course I am a gentleman. Okay,
if you haven't noticed, by now. We even we even
kissed at the end of the night, so like she
I was on a good side, you know, I made
a good person impression and she told me she'd calls soon,
you know, but she didn't call soon, so now you know,
now I'm a little confused.
Speaker 4 (02:11):
I mean, the kids is a good sign, right, yeah?
Speaker 3 (02:14):
All right, Well, let's try and get Aaron on the
phone for you, col We're going to give her a
call coming up at about eight thirty five right here
on ninety three Q, callan. Aaron's first date went so
well that after dinner they ended up at a sports
bar to end the night.
Speaker 1 (02:25):
Like to where the.
Speaker 3 (02:26):
Sports bar was closing, walked her to the car. There
was a kiss and everything. But he's not hearing back
from erin now, and the show thinks that we already
know the reason, are we right? We'll find out right now.

Speaker 4 (02:42):
Hello, Hi, man, please think with Aaron speaking Aaron. This
is Erica, Caitlin and Riggs over on ninety three Q.
How are you. I'm good.
Speaker 2 (02:53):
I'm good.
Speaker 5 (02:54):
I always wonder if probably gonna end up on this show.
Speaker 2 (02:57):
Also, Hi, what's up?
Speaker 5 (03:01):
So Aaron?
Speaker 1 (03:03):
You got to spill the beans with us on Col,
since you probably ought to know why we're calling cow.
Speaker 5 (03:08):
I thought you were calling about Brad. Brad Brad, I'm
just kidding.
Speaker 4 (03:14):
Okay, thank god. I was like, all right, this is
really going to get complicated.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
Okay, So you and Col went to dinner then do
a sports bart in the night. He told us all
of that so that the date ended with a kiss.
But now you have ghosted him, So what's the deal?
What's going on?
Speaker 5 (03:35):
Okay? We were, we were we got set up by
some some of my coworkers from where I worked, Okay, yeah,
and you know they said that he was a good
friend of theirs, and you know, so I thought, okay, great,
let's do it. Let's you know, let's check it out.
(03:56):
And I was a little nervous about it, just because
the guys have their own vibe. But you know, I
felt like he was, you know, like nothing, you know,
like them.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
What are the guys that you work with?
Speaker 5 (04:08):
Like all right, I normally wouldn't do this or call
anybody out on the air, but they know that I
would say that's right in front of them. They can
be totally douchey.
Speaker 2 (04:17):
Hmmm. We got that.
Speaker 5 (04:19):
I just want to play. They want to be a
little macho little you.
Speaker 4 (04:22):
Know, but that's not cal Wow.
Speaker 5 (04:26):
I thought it wasn't call, but he proved me pretty
wrong pretty quickly after we left the date.
Speaker 3 (04:34):
What did he do after the date? Did he send
you like a douchey text or something?
Speaker 5 (04:37):
Oh God, I wish no, I wish it was that. Yeah,
all right, okay, so all right, we okay, we get
listen to this. We leave the date. Okay, it's late.
It's actually pretty late, like probably like two am. We
hung out for a while and he actually walks me
to my car. We even chessed a little smooching and

all of that. I mean know, we say good night
and all that, and I'm on the road and while
I'm just getting onto the highway, I just you know,
it wasn't just it was a quick thing. I accidentally
cut a car off. I was just I swooped on
a little too quick, and the driver goes out of
their mind crazy just with this little thing. They start
(05:19):
flashing their brights, haunting the worms, ate serious road rates
like zero two thousands. And the worst part, yeah, and
the worst part of it was when I get a
glimpse inside of the car in that one second. No, yes,
it's it's how No, whoa, whoa.
Speaker 2 (05:39):
Whoa whoa. That's wait wait whoa that was you?
Speaker 5 (05:43):
Oh my what? Yes, Cow, that was me. You went
flipping off and you kept trying to.
Speaker 1 (05:50):
Beat up and sides like me, do you try to
side swiper? That's dangerous?
Speaker 2 (05:55):
Well what was going on that? That's a gross over exaggeration.
I mean, I mean, it was just a bad driver,
but I hat but come on, there's no reason to
completely pulled me off after the night we had. We
had a good time. Every you know, everyone has a
little road rage, right come on, Yeah, he's.
Speaker 4 (06:17):
Like you're in Houston after all, sides having cars though, Bro, Cow,
I almost call the cops.
Speaker 5 (06:22):
That was that serious. I was terrified, seriously crazy, and
I almost wrecked my car.
Speaker 3 (06:28):
That's terrifying. But you didn't.
Speaker 2 (06:31):
You didn't. Cow.
Speaker 3 (06:33):
There's a difference between just like your standard road range
flipping the bird or whatever and then trying to side
swipe someone and run them off the road.
Speaker 2 (06:41):
Okay, all right, well I guess that. Yeah, that wasn't
my best look, I will admit, you know, I can't
argue with that. But it was a long night. I
was I was tired, you know. But I can't understand
that I might might have come off a little aggressive.
Maybe I get it.
Speaker 5 (06:57):
I can understand it side Like me.
Speaker 4 (07:02):
Cal you saw her car when you walked her to
the car, like what, it was dark?
Speaker 2 (07:07):
It was dark. I didn't know it was Now, okay,
all right, I feel like an idiot.
Speaker 5 (07:11):
Now well, I'm sorry. I do think you're an idiot
and a little bit crazy. So no hard feelings, but
it's a strong no for me.
Speaker 2 (07:20):
All right. Do you have any friends that you know?
Speaker 3 (07:22):
Mike like, oh, yeah, he knows the men in the office,
doesn't He desperate?
Speaker 2 (07:28):
I love it.
