Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, this morning, we have been sought out by Eddie,
who is having some problems in the dating department, and
when it comes to Bobby Joe, Eddie.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Good morning, Hi, good morning. Hi.

Speaker 1 (00:10):
Tell us a little bit about your date with Bobby
Joe to kick this off.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
Yeah, is it okay if I give you guys a
little bit of background because I do think please? Yeah? Okay? Cool? Cool.
So I've been talking to Bobby Joe for a while, right,
We've just been kind of going back and forth. She
was very funny and I loved it. So, you know,
after a while we agreed to go on a date.
I wanted to be a gentleman for her, as you

(00:37):
know I usually am here go, so you know, I
wanted to pick her up and I wanted to drop
her off to the old fashioned in that way. And
we really had a good time.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
That's awesome.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
So did everything go good on the date?

Speaker 4 (00:49):
Like?

Speaker 3 (00:49):
There was good conversation. Nothing stands out that could have
went wrong.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
Well, she was kind of quiet on the way to
the restaurant, but I mean, honestly, you know, I was
nervous too, So I.

Speaker 5 (00:58):
Get it, dude, totally first date and I could probably
understand that. So did she start to kind of open
up during the dinner a little bit?

Speaker 2 (01:06):
Yeah, a bit. You know, we had a good time,
and she did open up a little bit, but I
could kind of tell that something was off. You know,
she kept checking her phone and it was kind of disappointing,
just because one of the reasons that I liked her
so much is that she's super funny. But you know,
this time, like anything that I talked about, she just

(01:26):
blindly agreed and then the conversation would end. It was
kind of like a conversation killer, like.

Speaker 4 (01:31):
One of those like a lot of awkward silences.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
It seemed like she was just kind of waiting for
the date to be over, and she just was not
talking much. So all I did was talk. I was
just a little chatty pants all night, which is not
like me at all, but I didn't I also want
to sit there in silence, so I just kept talking.

Speaker 1 (01:52):
It doesn't sound good, I'm gonna tell you that, because
definitely sounds like she was preoccupied with something. How did
the date end?

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Well, So I was kind of exhausted, to be honest
with you, with the whole dinner, just because, you know,
so much talking right, exactly. Yeah, And so I just
kind of wanted to go home, so I drove her
back to her place, and again, you know, wanted to
be a gentleman. So I dropped her off and I
tried to talk to her while we were in the car,
and she said nothing, nothing like that, No, absolutely nothing.

(02:25):
When I dropped her off, she said good night and
got out of the car. And when we were done,
and I don't know, guys, it was like the weirdest
date that I've ever been on. And again, like we
texted all the time before, like all the time. I
even sent her one text the next day and she
blocked me.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
Oh, are you sure you're blocked?

Speaker 2 (02:44):
I mean, I'm pretty sure it's not deliverable, all right, So.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
I mean it kind of sounds like you have your answer.
But we can get her on the phone and ask her,
like why the change of personality?

Speaker 2 (02:54):
Is that?

Speaker 4 (02:54):
All right?

Speaker 2 (02:55):
Yes, that'd be great because the person I was texting
and the person I went on a date with it
feels like two different people. It was like jackilmister Hyde.
I just I don't get it.

Speaker 1 (03:02):
I mean, that has happened here before on second date update.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
Lots of times we'll do that coming up in less
than three minutes. On I three q's Second Date Update.

Speaker 5 (03:10):
So, Eddie was texting with Bobby Joe for quite a while.
They agreed to go on a date, but she was
very awkwardly quiet the entire dinner. You thought she was
kind of like a conversation killer. He did all the talking.
Is this why she's not calling him back? Was he
too much of a chatty Kathy. We're gonna get Bobby
Joe on the phone and find out right now for
ninety three q's Second Date Update.

Speaker 1 (03:31):
Hello, Hi, may please speak with Bobby Joe.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
This is Bobby Joe.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
Hi, Bobby Joe. It's Riggs, Caitlin and Erica from ninety
three Q. Good morning, Hi morning, good morning.

Speaker 6 (03:40):
Uh. What can I do for you?

Speaker 2 (03:42):
Will?

Speaker 3 (03:43):
We're calling you because you are on something that we
call second date update, where you go on a date
with somebody that you don't call them back. We find
out why, So Eddie, if you remember, Eddie wants to
know why you blocked him and ghosted him.

Speaker 6 (03:54):
Oh uh, so he knows that I block him? Yes, Well,
I mean I didn't answer the first three texts, so
I figured he wasn't mature enough to understand that I
didn't want to talk to him, so I just went
ahead and blocked him so he would get the message.

Speaker 4 (04:10):
Yeah, well, why'd you ghost him?

Speaker 6 (04:12):
Like?

Speaker 4 (04:12):
What did he do?

Speaker 6 (04:15):
Started going downhill as soon as he picked me up
for my house?

Speaker 1 (04:18):
Oh, right off the bat right at the jump.

Speaker 6 (04:20):
Gosh, yeah, within the first five minutes. So he pulls
up and then I get in the car, and I'm like,
what the heck? It is totally a child's cars, not
a man's car.

Speaker 3 (04:32):
A child's car. What is it make it a child
called like a stuffed animals or colors?

Speaker 6 (04:38):
No, it's way worse than that. So we start driving
and he turns on the music and he's got like
those you know that like crazy sound system that people have,
you know, like back in when we were in high school.
Roll up into the leu. Yeah, So he turns on
the music, driving like a freaking bat out of hell already,

(05:00):
and it was like I was in high school again,
like on a date with somebody in high school.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
In the early two thousands. That was so cool. When
I wear it now on the road, I get so mad.
I started looking around, like, who.

Speaker 5 (05:10):
Is that.

Speaker 6 (05:12):
Endiculous? Yeah? I mean, massive speakers in the back of
the car. I could get of my chest if I
was in a nightclub, terrible.

Speaker 5 (05:20):
Did you tell him, like, yo, turn this down, this
is a little loud, Like no, I.

Speaker 6 (05:24):
Was so freaking embarrassed, and like he was turning to talk.
I couldn't even hear what he was saying. And I
just I don't know. It was so freaking annoying to
think that somebody would spend that kind of money on
a sound system in a car that's basically a piece
of crap.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
And then so, first off, okay, if it was so awful,
I don't understand why he didn't ask me to turn
it down.

Speaker 1 (05:45):
Okay, I would have yeah, at least here Bobby Joe
on the line.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
Yeah, hello, Look, I would have had no problem turning
it down. Okay, But but I'm not gonna sit there
and just let you attack me because I enjoy music.

Speaker 6 (05:59):
It's not even out turning the music down. It was
just so embarrassing. I know that you turned it up
on purpose. Every time we stopped at a red light,
literally everyone is turning and looking at us the car,
I mean it was shaking. The car is literally shaking,
and then you rade the windows down because I don't
know what show off so other people. I was mortified.

(06:23):
I was mortified. I mean spending up money on upgrading
your car, your cheap car. It was making more noise
by everything rattling.

Speaker 2 (06:33):
Inside of it.

Speaker 6 (06:40):
Listen, I have never gotten so many side eyes at
a red light in my life. That old man is
that with a vibrating, cheap ass car with its freaking
expensive sound system. Nobody can even sit in the back
seat because you goulous.

Speaker 3 (06:53):
Speakers, speakers or like you can't even sit in the back.

Speaker 6 (06:56):
Yes, yes, car, listen. I still have ringing in my
ears from your damn car ride. It was a week ago.

Speaker 4 (07:05):
I'd actually kind of like to hear it. See what
it sounds.

Speaker 2 (07:08):
You're a radio guy, Yeah, like I have. I have
four tens in the back many like, yeah, I have
top quality stuff back there.

Speaker 4 (07:18):
Wow, I'm amazed that her teeth didn't fall out with
that past. Dude, Eddie, I.

Speaker 3 (07:22):
Don't know this is a girl thing, but like, I
hate when music is that loud, like surround sound in
my house, Like I will turn that off. I can't
stand it. I can't imagine in a car with four tens.

Speaker 1 (07:33):
Well, especially if you're on a date with someone new,
and a lot of times when you're on a date
with someone, the car ride is when you're getting to
know people and talk with people. This seems like maybe
your music was so extreme that none of that even
got to happen.

Speaker 6 (07:45):
It's written too much. It's embarrassing.

Speaker 2 (07:47):
You were just being so incredibly judgmental. All right, you
are a man.

Speaker 6 (07:51):
Child, Grow to f up and stop wasting money on
a sound system that you should have had in high school.

Speaker 2 (07:57):
Bobby Joe, you're going to hate her, and that's okay.
I mean, you know, God's right. I can do whatever
I want with it, right like you, you are allowed
to be as controlling as you want. I'm done. I
hate women like you.

Speaker 3 (08:13):
Amount okay.

Speaker 4 (08:14):
I just hung up on both of them because that
was crazy.

Speaker 3 (08:17):
My ears hurt now from half surrounds this, and I
just heard from the yelling.

Speaker 1 (08:22):
I feel like she was still screaming because she was
thinking that's how she
