A Mérték Médiaelemző Műhely tartalomelemzéses kutatással vizsgálta meg 8 nagy elérésű médium több mint 2500 hírét. RTL és TV2, Népszava és Magyar Nemzet, Origo és 24.hu, közmédia - melyik mennyire elfogult?
Mennyire elfogultak a kormánypárti, és mennyire elfogultak a kormánnyal szemben kritikus médiumok? És ezt az olvasói megérzésen túl milyen tudományos, kutatói módszerekkel lehet kimutatni?
A Mérték Médiaelemző Műhely nemrég egy 100 oldalas tartalomelemzést publikált erről a témáról, amelyben 8 médium híreit vizsgálta meg, a következő csoportosításban:
- magánkézben lévő kormánypárti médiumok (Magyar Nemzet, TV2 Tények, Origo),
- magánkézben lévő kormánykritikus médiumok (Népszava, RTL Híradó, 24.hu),
- közszolgálat (M1/Duna Híradó, Kossuth Rádió Déli Krónika).
A tartalomelemzést kétszer négyhetes időszakban végezték el, 2023 tavaszán és 2024 tavaszán. Utóbbi választási kampányidőszakra esett. A tanulmány egyik szerzője, Horváth Kata foglalja össze a legfontosabb eredményeket.
A tanulmány a HDMO (Hungarian Digital Media Observatory, azaz a Magyar Digitális Média Obszervatórium) nevű projekt keretében készült. A 30 hónapos projekt keretében a Political Capital és a Mérték Médiaelemző Műhely kutatói a dezinformációk terjedését és az ellene hozott intézkedések hatékonyságát vizsgálják, a francia AFP hírügynökség és a Lakmusz újságírói tényellenőrző munkát folytatnak, az Idea Alapítvány munkatársai a tudatos médiafogyasztással kapcsolatos tréningeket tartanak, a HDMO digitális infrastruktúráját pedig az Epresspack biztosítja. A projekt, az első fázishoz hasonlóan, az Európai Bizottság társfinanszírozásában működik. A HDMO-t alkotó konzorciumot nyílt pályázaton választotta ki az Európai Bizottság.
