Maurice Klein speaks with Eddie (Mr Jewish Movies) Tamir, artistic director of the Jewish International Film Festival (JIFF) which commences its 2025 season on October 19 at the Classic Cinemas in Elsternwick the traditional home of the festival, then hitting the big screens across the country throughout October and November culminating with the Perth leg for two and a half weeks in December. Eddie unpacks JIFF 2025 with many of the 51 JIFF films premiering at the festival, providing an insight into the Jewish experience and the unique Jewish contribution to the multicultural landscape showcasing cinema from Israel and the Jewish Diaspora. The JIFF2025 program booklet is available at the Classic Cinemas Elsternwick, the Lido Cinemas in Hawthorn and at many retailers around the community.
