Speaker 1 (00:00):
I know the details, but I do know that they're
more expensive than what you would pay for supplements with, uh, impact,
which starts at $96 per, you know, per person of
the household that's over $65. So if you and your
partner are 65 or more, it's $96 you know, I

(00:22):
think the highest.
plan that I saw was if they were 80 years
old or 70, uh, I'm not sure actually, but
Um, is $140 or $142. That's the most, uh, for
the supplement that we have. So, very, very, um,

(00:45):
Affordable for people.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
If somebody already has an insurance plan, whether it's what's
a Medicare or, or a commercial insurance plan, and, and
they're considering Impact Health, and, and they've got their own
sort of, for lack of a better term, network of doctors,
but it's, it's the doctors that they've gone to and
they have experience with and, you know, my, my primary
is Joe and, and my, this guy is Bob, and

(01:11):
there's Cindy and there's Steve.
So, if, if I'm considering the switch to Impact, can
I find out in advance if Impact is going to
be OK to work with Joe, Bob, Cindy, and Steve?

Speaker 1 (01:24):
Absolutely. Um, we can, uh, first, it's easier once you're
a member, uh, as we discussed earlier, the the concierge
service that Impact provides, they will call your provider ahead
of time, uh, as far as the, the primary care, uh, provider,
and they will pay them ahead of time before you go. So, um,

(01:48):
as an impact member, there's no open enrollment. So you
can be an impact member.
You sign up at any point and as of the
1st of the next month, you're, you're now an impact member.
If
You know, if um,
If you present your card at your office and they

(02:08):
give you a hard time or whatnot about that EDI
payer ID number, you can call Impact right then and
there and have them talk to that, the secretary or
the person at the desk or, or whoever that is. You,
I mean, you can make a phone call right then
and there, um, and Impact will be happy to talk
to them. I mean, it's so, they're so such a, a,

(02:31):
an advocate that, that's always available in your back pocket.
And I, you know, I tell all my clients, if
you want to go somewhere.
And you know ahead of time, call me. I'll call them.
You know, I don't mind to, to make that call also, um,
you know, if they have any questions about uh any

(02:54):
of the benefits would impact.
So.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
All right, let's talk a little bit about the, the
other things that come along with insurance. Uh, it's, it's
a big process. It's a complicated process. It's also a
heavily regulated process, both at the federal and at the
state level. How does, uh, impact health fit into all
of those things? I'm assuming there are licenses involved and,

(03:19):
and I, it's not like Lucy in the Peanuts cartoons.
You can't just, you know, set up a booth and
open up shop, right?

Speaker 1 (03:26):
Actually, you can, because it's not, it's not, I mean,
let's face it, these, these ACA regulation, I, I believe,
came into effect in March of, uh, uh 2010 with
the Obamacare, the Affordable Care Act. So these ACA compliant

(03:47):
to allow for the marketplace, you know, for you to
be in the marketplace. Well,
I don't necessarily want to be in the marketplace, you know,
as an insurer because I'm not an insurance. I'm a
health sharing. If you believe what I believe and, and
are able to look at these pretty straightforward guidelines, there's no,

(04:11):
you know, I, I'm a regular person. I work my
forty-hour job. I just happen to be very passionate about
Ethics and um and the affordability and accessibility, um, so
that I will spend my time uh making sure that
we're doing the right thing for the right for people.

(04:34):
So I don't care to be in the ACA marketplace.
I don't wanna be in the so we're not ACA
compliant because, um, in order to be ACA compliant, you
have to
There's like 10 different things that you have to provide,
and we don't meet all those criteria. However, with that said,

(04:56):
Um,
You know,
We don't, we're, I don't care what these insurers tell
you that they're ACA compliant. That's just a title because
what they do in the background, I mean, call me biased,
but they, they're not ethical, uh, and, um, that's what

(05:16):
bothers me the most, and that's why I
You know, uh, fully believe in impact, and I'm all in,
and I, you know, drank the Kool-Aid, and, and yeah,
it sounds too good to be true. Well, guess what? It,
it's actually very good. And, um, and we use it.
I use it for my family, not had issues. Um,

(05:37):
I know plenty of people that uses it.
Uh, small business owners that couldn't afford to pay, um,
health care for their employees and lost good employees to
other jobs because the other jobs offered healthcare. I mean,
now they have a choice. They have a choice that
they don't have to go along with everybody and pay

(05:57):
these unbelievable premiums and go bankrupt because of healthcare. That shouldn't,
that shouldn't happen. So.
Uh, there's no
You know, I, I don't have to call the insurance department.
They don't regulate Impact. We have our own sets of ethical, um,
and transparency. That's, that's the other thing. We have, if

(06:22):
you go to your portal as a member of Impact.
You can actually see the total money that's in impact now,
and what their share portion provided and what their, you know,
program services cost. You can get that price for the
last 12 months, you can get that price for the
last year. It's transparent. It shows you all 50 states there.

(06:46):
It tells you how many members or how many families
are in each state, how many um.
You know, what's available in your, in your um uh
little bank. They have, they have a, a, a set,
I call it a little pot on the side for

(07:07):
your own household, you know, your own little account, so
that it it allows them to pay providers that much
more quickly.
And if you decide that impact is not for you,
that money comes back to you.
That money that's in your little pot that was set

(07:28):
up from part of your premiums, and you got your
own little account separate from the, you know, the total
um uh amount that's in uh impact, you leave with that.
So right now, if I look at my account, I
have $4300. If I decide tomorrow morning, I'd leave Impact,

(07:51):
which I will not do, but if I do,
For whatever reason, that money is sent back to me. Now,
what insurance company gives you back money when you leave,
you know, it, it's, it doesn't happen, so it, it's
really a good, a good uh program.

Speaker 2 (08:09):
Talk a little bit about if, if I'm a small business, I,
I own a corner variety store and I've got 5 employees, uh,
and it, and it's privately owned. I I Impact Health, uh,
an answer for me and for those employees?

Speaker 1 (08:24):
Absolutely.
And it's so easy to sign up. You go, yeah, again, you,
you know, hook up with me on trusted Essentialservices.com. I
get your info, we get more info. Uh, Impact will notify,
we'll send you a little, uh, a group link. Don't,
don't ignore that email.

(08:45):
And just fill out, you know, it's very straightforward. You
put in your employees in there, the age and, and
impact comes back with a quote, and it's, it's very affordable.
It's very easy to do, and it's not, there's no hidden,
oh well, we're gonna do this. Oh, by the way,
we're not gonna pay for, you know, that. It's, you

(09:06):
have to agree to the guidelines. There's guidelines that they follow.
They're, it's not like an inch thick of guidelines. It's
very straightforward. Um, so, um, and, and again, it's, it's
very straightforward and it's not, nothing like a cult or,
or anything like, you know, it, it, it's very common

(09:29):
sense stuff and, um.
And then, uh, it, you know, if you agree with that, you're,
you're in, you know, you submit your application, uh, agree
with the quote, and, and go from there, and it's
all transparent. You get it at your business office, you know,
you have your own business office portal and you can, uh,

(09:51):
see it all from there.

Speaker 2 (09:54):
I imagine healthcare wouldn't be so complicated if people themselves
weren't so often, so very, very complicated. So, let's talk
about where trusted essential services begins and ends and, and
where impact health would then pick up things. If, if
I'm considering impact health, I'm going to get in touch

(10:14):
with you at.
At Essential Services.com and, and you're gonna explain all of
this to me and, and we're gonna go back and
forth about my individual situation, about what's, what's working on my, uh,
on my body and what isn't working on my body
and etc. etc. etc. And, and you'll be able to
get together with the folks at Impact Health and say,
here's how this is all gonna work.

Speaker 1 (10:38):
Yeah, I mean, it's not, I don't necessarily have to,
we don't ask for, uh, and that's uh have a
complicated medical history. Uh, we do have preexisting conditions clauses
like any of them, uh, any insurers do, and if
they say they don't, they're, they're lying to you. Uh,

(11:00):
we just need, say you had breast cancer, um, 7
years from now, 7 years ago, uh.
Impact doesn't reject you because you have a history of cancer.
And if you get a recurrence, because it's more than
3 years, it doesn't, um, you're covered. You're covered whether

(11:21):
it's the same cancer or a different cancer. As long
as you're 3 years cancer-free, it will cover you. Now,
if you're within that 3 years, it doesn't mean that
That they won't do the repricing of the bills. I mean,
you should see the repricing of the chemo radiations that
they do. We've had people have transplant on impact. The

(11:44):
repricing that they do of those bills is just amazing, uh,
because there's so much of the pricing that's inflated to
start with, um.
You know, that it's nice to actually, you know, uh,
get a reference point and say, OK, this is what's
acceptable and this is what's not, and this is what

(12:06):
we're gonna pay, and this is what we're not gonna pay,
and they, they, that's all in the background. They don't
show you any of that. So even though your preexisting
condition is within 3 years of signing up for uh impact.
They're still gonna reprise your bills, so.
You know, if you add that up with your premiums.

(12:28):
It's still very affordable despite the fact that you may
not have a shared amount of surgery you need or,
or
Whatever else, if it's due to a preexisting condition, does
that make sense?

Speaker 2 (12:43):
Yep, it, it makes sense. How long in general does
the onboarding process take?

Speaker 1 (12:49):
Oh, that's easy. That's, that's like you sign up and
the 1st of the month, you're on. And uh they
usually encourage you to set up a meeting with them. Uh,
it's about 15 minutes where they'll go through a couple
of things, make sure that you know, you know, how
to make an appointment. They may ask you like, oh,
who's your primary care office? Let us call them for

(13:11):
you or whatnot. And they'll try to get an onboarding.
You know, 15-minute call, but there's no waiting period. There is,
you know, in the 1st 30 or, or 60 days,
it's like an amount that's, you know, um,
Uh, you're limited to a certain amount, uh, and it,
they do have a limit per year per person. So

(13:34):
that limit is $500,000. If you're, uh, not a smoker.
If you're a smoker, it's, it's less than that. I
can't quote it right now, but, um, with that said,
nobody has ever met that $500,000 in the almost six
years with chemotherapy treatments and

(13:54):
Um, transplant surgery and all that, people, uh, members were,
nobody got without care. Nobody met that amount. So that's,
that says a lot about a company.

Speaker 2 (14:09):
Before we wrap up, it bears repeating one more time and,
and we've talked about it before, but again, I, I,
I think it's important that we get that number out there.
The savings from commercial insurance to impact health. For an
average household of, of two people, what kind of monthly
savings are we talking about?

Speaker 1 (14:29):
I, uh, you know, depending where age-based, uh, a family
of 4, a young family of 4, well, 43 plus.
You can have 5 kids, it doesn't matter. It's still
gonna be the quote for 3+, uh, is $378 the,
the lowest that, that we go. That's with a, a
primary responsibility amount of $10,000 for the household.

(14:52):
If you get that to, you know, uh, a $2500 PRA,
then you're at, you know, 500, not even $500 for
a young family. But like I said, my family at
the top, um, at the top limit of the age
bracket at 61, uh, my husband being 61, uh, is, um,

(15:17):
what did I say earlier, 6.
70 a month, 680 a month, something like that.
So, you can't find that. There's, there's, you can't find
that on, on marketplace. If you do, it's, it's not
apples to apples. So we have a $2500 PRA that
can even go lower with wellness, uh, habits that we have,

(15:42):
gym membership and so on. And, um,
And uh the dental and, and vision benefits and the
free telehealth and the, you know, free, 3 visits a
month of teletherapy per member, not per household. This is
per member. So, you know, if we needed teletherapy, we

(16:03):
could go, you know, have 12 visits a month for free. Uh,
there's 50, 50 physical therapy, occupational therapy visits that are allowed. Uh,
and
You don't need a referral, you know, so it's, it's a,
it's a beautiful, it's a beautiful thing, and we encourage

(16:25):
any providers out there to, yeah, you know, get together
with me and, and we'll add you to the provider network, uh,
preferred provider network, and that's a way for you to,
to market your, your, uh, office.
As well. All right,

Speaker 2 (16:42):
you've used the term PRA a couple of times. What,
what is the definition of PRA?

Speaker 1 (16:47):
Is the primary responsibility amount, which is like a deductible,
but because we're not an insurance, we don't like to
use the word deductible. We don't want people to think
that we're an insurance, we're coverage. We're an alternative to
the very expensive insurance coverage.

Speaker 2 (17:04):
And the coverage doesn't change based on where you live,
what county or what region of the
state.

Speaker 1 (17:09):
That's exactly right. Uh, so you've heard that Anthem is
out of the
You know, Anthem and Market and uh Martin's Point are
out of the Part C Medicare Advantage Plan uh in
New Hampshire altogether, and Aetna only covers Rockingham and Hillsborough
County for Part C Medicare.

(17:31):
There's none of that would impact. It covers everybody, doesn't
matter where you are. And even if you travel, if
I travel uh to to Canada or Europe or or whatnot, it,
it can also cover you, you know, that way. And
the other thing that it does is it covers um
Uh, legal immigrants that have a TIN number that do

(17:56):
pay taxes, uh, they, they will, um,
They will uh provide the health care coverage, so that
you don't go without um.
You know, and, and end up in an accident or whatnot, and,
and those people, you know, uh, also, you know, it
does rise the cost of health care when you have

(18:17):
uninsured people show up at the, at the hospital, whether
they're legal immigrants or or just US citizens, it doesn't matter,
it's still um raised the cost of health care. So
Impact chooses to provide legal immigrants with a TIN number.
Um, an opportunity to sign up with IMPAC.

Speaker 2 (18:38):
US citizens have Social Security numbers. Immigrants that are here
legally have a TIN, which is a tax identification number.

Speaker 1 (18:47):
Correct.
Yes, thank you for clarifying. No

Speaker 2 (18:50):
problem, no problem. Carol DePparo, Trusted Essential Services online at trustedessentialservices.com.

Speaker 1 (19:12):
Thank you so much for letting me, uh, letting my
passion come out. You know, it's so.
It's, it's, uh, it's hard times right now and, but
we have a solution. And I just wanna send the
word out there and, and, um,
And give that opportunity to people.
