Speaker 1 (00:00):
I tell you about like.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
Uh no, I mean it's just like we forever revolved back.
Like I said before, we don't don't feel like we
have a ceiling. We just gonna keep pushing and keep
you know, being a better version of ourselves. The week
before we give up seven points, I was easily uh
you know, something that we could have prevented.
Speaker 3 (00:15):
But you know that's something that we gotta learn from.
You didn't way the way that matter used that first money.
Speaker 2 (00:19):
I mean when you when you got like a quarterback
like that, like a first battle hall of Fame, where
you just know like he gonna go out there here,
gonna put up points and makes it easy on us
cause we know, like every time we come down to
the sideline, we can take a little breather, we can
take a little breath, and you just gotta go out.
Speaker 3 (00:30):
There and hold him down. Some of those relations, right
Aaron Donald. Tonight, I feel like through.
Speaker 2 (00:37):
That, I feel like we definitely did. I feel like
we left a lot of plays in the field. You know,
be wiser sack that got called back. We gotta be
better on the back end though, you know.
Speaker 3 (00:43):
All the fun end.
Speaker 2 (00:44):
I'm not gonna hold.
Speaker 3 (00:44):
Myself h they responsible either Like there was a couple
of sacks I had I could end of the game.
We probably about four or five if I two did
my job. So you all gotta be better in the night,
you guys are you know, I mean night you actually
was a four shot next you. I mean it definitely
did you know?
Speaker 2 (00:58):
It's you know, no A d a good relationship with him,
knowing that he's always, you know, been there for me,
boy have any questions, So just to show out with
him and the stands and in the you know, the.
Speaker 3 (01:06):
Box whoever he was hitting away, it was good for
you right.
Speaker 4 (01:09):
Now to rush the passer and see the place of
the BA guys like Kobe.
Speaker 3 (01:13):
And or Oh.
Speaker 2 (01:14):
It makes you feel very good because now the quarterbacks
gotta take it, you know, do a little pump big
hold the ball a little bit longer.
Speaker 3 (01:19):
He holds a little bit longer. We're coming after him,
like we're coming with thres.
Speaker 4 (01:22):
Performances against the Prophets and another Seahawks and after that boats.
Speaker 1 (01:28):
Up.
Speaker 2 (01:29):
I feel like we definitely made a strong, you know
statement that you know, one of the best in the
league and not the best, you know. My personal opini,
I'm gonna say it with the best. But sure we
could have given up the most points in the league.
I still sing it the best, So you know, I
feel like we're definitely dominating. You know, speaking about last week,
I feel like we could have held them a lot
less points. You know, we gave up too many points,
but you know, holding them to just a bunch of
field goals that they can't get the end zone, they
can't win.
Speaker 5 (01:47):
As much time as there is left in this season,
it's still a brdant beating number us in Glordian to
thanksgiving up the better way to correct all the weak.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
And yeah, I just found out we was number one.
See all own this and all that stuff. I an't
Twitter or nothing like that. You know, people be getting
the last so I would say, I don't be looking
at that. But knowing that we you know we're able
to do that, it's just, you know, we gotta keep
elevating every week.
Speaker 3 (02:11):
I mean it feels good, but I mean that's what
we expected. You know.
Speaker 2 (02:14):
I feel like we we've lost two games with two
games that we should have won if we're a little
bit better on defense, and you know, I can't hold
the uh you.
Speaker 3 (02:19):
Know, offense counter that's all us.
Speaker 4 (02:21):
They showed Aaron would betting pumped up. You know, I
think one of your facts, what are we gonna tell you?
Speaker 2 (02:27):
I feel like, you know, I'm something you gotta make
the rest of the players. He gonna tell me straight up,
like you that you had a couple more than you
could have had it. It was just you know, held it
down a little bit more. But you know, I think
it'll get my prest at this point where you guys are,
is this the best you've seen this defense thus far,
especially with just I know you got that six games
with number right now, it's just the best you've seen
them do this.
Speaker 3 (02:46):
You guys do this far.
Speaker 2 (02:47):
It's but uh yeah, it's definitely. I feel like this
is one of the strongest standings we've had. You know,
I feel like there's a couple plays we could have
been better at. But I feel like this is something
that you know, against the offense that you know, they're
known for putting off the phones. I mean last week
it's Buffalo they put up it was thirty eight or
something like that, like a huge amount.
Speaker 3 (03:03):
So you know, it was good to kind of hold
him that were out get wrong. Yeah. Maybe, Yeah, that's
definitely for me. I mean, come on, no, that was
really cool. I was a great design Matthew Maddon and
another amazing throw. So there's nbch chance.
Speaker 4 (03:20):
I'll definitely you know, well deserved, so excited for him
to except the state. Yeah, it just gives you so
much cought food. So he's in there here in thirty
seven different modes every single player and he's repeating to
us perfectly. He just has complete control. So it's a
(03:42):
lot of fun to be in the huddle and to
play with the guy like that. Yeah, it's been really fun,
as you can tell, like we're doing whatever it takes
every single week to get the league.
Speaker 3 (03:51):
So a lot of fun. Sean and Mike doing.
Speaker 4 (03:53):
A great job getting playing together some league, all the coaches,
So it's been really fun.
Speaker 3 (03:57):
It's a descrip like you guys are doing in the
first order of the pass games. How does that help?
What does that be? Opposition? And when to start quick
like that?
Speaker 4 (04:05):
I mean that's a huge emphasis for us. It's to
get getting off to a good start. Obviously the defense
did a great job getting the stop early.
Speaker 3 (04:12):
On and we're going to get down on the score.
So it just helps open up the entire offense.
Speaker 4 (04:16):
When you're able to get out to an early lead,
it opens up the whole playbook and you're not playing
from behind, which is the great beast to be.
Speaker 6 (04:21):
It's easy to downplay being the number one seat with
so much to them left, but you still got to
do a lot to get there.
Speaker 3 (04:27):
Yeah, now, now it's in your control.
Speaker 1 (04:28):
I mean, where's that deal.
Speaker 3 (04:30):
It's not nothing, that's for sure.
Speaker 4 (04:31):
You know, we've done a great job of responding to
those two early losses, and we just take a one
week at a time. We're not worried about playoffs yet,
we're not worried about anything like that.
Speaker 3 (04:38):
So we're just trying to be the Panthers next weekend
and go from there. You guys, it's just a resilient group,
a really selfless group.
Speaker 4 (04:44):
You could see when anyone scores, everyone's excited, everyone's celebrating.
Speaker 3 (04:48):
It's a ton of fun to be a part of. So,
like I said, we're just looking for you next week
and again it's become part of his trademark. But that
no look passed to you for the touch of by mac.
I mean, yeah, you can't be looking at his eyes,
but the ball can come in at any time. But what
is that like when he's looking down.
Speaker 4 (05:01):
Honestly, when I first got here, it took me by
surprise pretty good. Every times where I think that he's
throwing somewhere else in the ball kind of jumps on you.
Speaker 3 (05:07):
But I always stay ready with nine.
Speaker 4 (05:09):
You never know when when that ball is coming, where
it's coming, but it's always going to be on time
and where you want it.
Speaker 3 (05:13):
So three touchdowns in the three.
Speaker 6 (05:17):
Screen you way, where do you feel about the way?
Speaker 3 (05:19):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (05:22):
Like I said, this whole group offensively is so selfless.
It's not about me scoring another touchdown. It's not about
anyone else scoring a touchdown. It's about us being successful
in the field and whatever that takes. But if it's blogging,
if it's catching the ball, and it's to pick, whatever
it takes, especially I mean the tight under round. We
are such a great group of guys. It's so much
fun to be a part of that group. And it
could be any of us out there. So this week
goes me.
Speaker 3 (05:41):
We'll see what happens next week. It could be any
of dust. And like I said, it's just a fun
self in script to be part of that overall, how
would you just slide away?
Speaker 6 (05:49):
You guys using ars team, it's really good football team.
I think the motto in the locker room floy a
game was right from the gym from the first play.
But like we knew what we wanted to on the
next year game plan. It was just the amount of
intensity and the consistency that we're going to show him
after that first play. I would you describe a way
what Matthew Staffords be doing, especially at his age.
Speaker 3 (06:10):
I guess the only way I really know how to
describe it is he's on.
Speaker 6 (06:12):
A heater right now, like you don't you don't mess
up the blow, you don't mess up their energy. You look,
you do not yes, and you know that he's gonna
He's gonna go out there and make my play. So
it's been so fun to watch him operate and leave
this offense because it feels like.
Speaker 3 (06:23):
We're hitting on all celindors.
Speaker 6 (06:24):
What makes him such fussion, I think his attention to
detail something that he never misses an opportunity to be
on the same page with not me, Tay, with the
audio and the.
Speaker 3 (06:34):
Receivers, the line of the tight end.
Speaker 6 (06:35):
He takes those opportunities to make sure that the communication
is on point.
Speaker 3 (06:39):
So it allows for success.
Speaker 1 (06:40):
Speaking of the communication, Davonte has nine touchdowns in his
last five games. So do you think the relationship between
him and Matthew he's just getting better.
Speaker 3 (06:49):
I believe.
Speaker 6 (06:50):
So I'm like, we're hitting outside of the Renzo now,
so I'm like the defenses are having nightmares for sure.
I'm like, whether we're inside the twenty or whether we're outside,
we're in the plus area. Like, you know, the ball's
gonna find one seven and he's gonna find a way
to get in the end zone. So it's something that's
working for our offense. And then we'll continue to put
pressure on defenses to make them guard off every oppsode field.
Can you put twenty seven twenty seven touchdowns between interceptions?
Speaker 3 (07:11):
And how tough that is? Man?
Speaker 6 (07:13):
Like, there's there's not a lot of misses out there,
and the misses that he are, it's not going to
the other team. So as a as a wide receiver
and as an offense, you feel very very pleased with
those numbers. And you know that, man, it's it's an
opportunity for us that the more confidence he has out
there to throw the ball, the more confidence we have
to go out there and pluck it out there.
Speaker 1 (07:28):
I don't mean to put pressure on you or anything
because he's standing right there. But seventeen and twelve has
to be the best combination in the league right now
with don't you pay?
Speaker 3 (07:38):
I think it that. I think that's I agree with
that statement. I agree with that's it.
Speaker 6 (07:41):
Yeah, it's a It's an opportunity for us to go
out there and put it on tape every single week,
and I know when Sunday comes around one, two and
once that we'll be ready.
Speaker 5 (07:49):
Our guys, I need a lot of turn overclass some
previous game you have ones. And then the Kobe what
is his due for the statements?
Speaker 4 (08:00):
Uh?
Speaker 5 (08:00):
I think the confidence come from the preparation and of
stuff the work will put in all week and it
allows us to go out there for us to put
ourselves in position to make that play.
Speaker 3 (08:07):
So it uh, it's definitely a confidence booster. And you
know it's the help offensive the classes. Yeah, it's a
lot of guys who want in your field and all
the tight because.
Speaker 6 (08:17):
Of the way they.
Speaker 3 (08:18):
Do the slade over the ways of playing right now
that way, Oh, we got a young defense, so you
know we you go out there and just have fun.
Speaker 5 (08:24):
Honestly, Like you gotta remember, it's a game, kids game,
So we go out there and have fun with each other,
and I also do our job. So yeah, it's very
fun to go out there and play with that defense.
Speaker 1 (08:32):
But overall, team, team wise, you gotta guys have the
best record in the season.
Speaker 5 (08:35):
Yeah, uh, team wise, you know, we play company and football,
so uh we be playing b good on all three
phases of the ball. And it's a big comfidence booster
when you go in and weekend and week down and
do your job to get sure.
Speaker 3 (08:46):
Thank you.
