Speaker 1 (00:02):
Graduations.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Welcome to La. Thank you.

Speaker 3 (00:08):
How does it feel to be joined in the RAM?
I mean if it feels it's exciting. Man, it's an
exciting moment. I'm very excited to come to LA and
get a chance. You get an opportunity, it's your phone call,
like with Lesson Seun.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
Oh it was.

Speaker 3 (00:25):
My heart was beating as soon as I got the
call he and he tells me the news.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
I was so excited I almost cried, just a little bit.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
Mean to you to just see them trade off to
come up and make sure they got you.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
It's there. I've seen it. I was like, it's my time.
How would you describe your running down well?

Speaker 3 (00:47):
I described my runners. I feel like I'm a I'm
a very north to south runner downhill running. I feel
like I can catch the ball at the backfield and
I can pass your taking and I can run. Do
you have a sense of Rams might be calling your
name at some point in the draft?

Speaker 2 (01:04):
What was that process like leading into it?

Speaker 3 (01:06):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (01:06):
I did.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
I did have a sense that that I might be
coming to LA and come to the Rams. I feel
like because I had taught to them a pretty good bid.
I had talked to them like three or four times,
and I felt like it was just a good connection
with me and the coaches, and I feel like this
is a place I can come and just show my talents.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
I saw that you mad in natural resource management at
Auburn and also you grew up around wildlife and on afar, Like,
what what's that? Where does that passion come from? And
you know, coming to LA, there is wildlife around I promise,
what's your impression is coming to LA from that environment?

Speaker 2 (01:45):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (01:45):
You know, I grew up in the country. I'm I'm
a country born from Mississippi. I mean, that's all it
is is trees around here.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
And I just.

Speaker 3 (01:54):
I heard I heard it it's a country part in LA.
I'd never seen it, but I heard it was. And
I and like, I just I'm an outside person. That's
why I picked Natural research management because I like to
be outside. I feel like that's why I get my
peace from just being outside with animals and horses.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
I gotta horse in my own back back home in Mississippi.
The horse coming to l A, I don't think he.
I don't think he's gonna make it the l A. Mhm,
what's your horse's names name? His name Danger? Oh yeah,

(02:34):
his name Dan.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
What's your impression of the of the backfield that you're
going to be joining with with Tyrant and Blake and
Ronnie Rivers? And what's your impression of watching those guys
from Afar?

Speaker 2 (02:46):
I mean just watching them guys in the past couple
of years.

Speaker 3 (02:50):
I feel like they did they did a really good
job and running the ball in La and the Rams,
I feel like they are really.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
Good running backs.

Speaker 3 (02:58):
And I feel like just me coming to the room,
they can help me a lot and I can add
something to the running bed room.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
You see any similarities between your game and tyrons.

Speaker 3 (03:11):
I could see a little bit of out running STARF.
I feel like I'm more of a downhill running.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
You're scouting report, reading up on it a little bit.
There's apparently some legendary stories your teammates like to tell
about you from the weight room. Are you comfortable sharing
any of those that you know of?

Speaker 2 (03:33):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (03:34):
Something about us A freshman squat six pounds something like that.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
Oh yeah, I came in my freshman year I squad.

Speaker 3 (03:41):
I think like he wouldn't let me go no more
than the strent coach dip and he let me squat.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
I had got to six I think six fifty five.
He wouldn't let me do no more.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
I think that's all of us combined.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
Yeah, yeah, he wouldn't. I like, I like.

Speaker 3 (04:02):
I like lifting weights. I mean that's in high school
I did powerlifting, so I mean lifting ways. When I
got to college, lifting ways easy.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
It was fun. I mean, I think if I'm not
STRAIGHTT squatted the most on the team, no doubt. Thank
