Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey, Terrance, can you hear us? Yeah, I can hear you.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Awesome, we have our local media here.

Speaker 1 (00:04):
They're gonna ask you a few questions. Sounds good. Hey, Karence, congratulations.

Speaker 3 (00:12):
How's it feel to be joined in the RAMS?

Speaker 4 (00:15):
Man?

Speaker 1 (00:15):
It's such a blessing.

Speaker 4 (00:16):
I'm super excited and couldn't ask for a better opportunity
that God has put in my hands.

Speaker 1 (00:20):
I'm just super excited.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
Hey, Terence, welcome. First of all, also, we are in
an active air operations for la f D, So if
you hear propellers in the background, sorry in advance. But
what was your interactions, like, if any, with the RAMS
through the pre draft process and what's your impression of
the organization overall?

Speaker 4 (00:41):
Yeah, you know, I actually had a formal interview just
with one person, not even everybody, during the combine and
that was about it. And so you know, obviously the
RAMS is a great organization, great offense, great people leading
the organization.

Speaker 1 (00:59):
So I'm super excited to be a part of that.

Speaker 3 (01:01):
May Terrence, this is ste Jackson at the RAMS dot com.

Speaker 1 (01:04):
Nice to meet you.

Speaker 3 (01:05):
What do you feel like you bring to this offense
and what has the team told you that they feel
like you could add to that group as well.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
Yeah, you know, I think must have there about that. Yeah, No,
you know, I think I bring a lot of things.

Speaker 4 (01:22):
Versatility is being the biggest being able to stretch the
field Craig mismatches and with linebackers or safeties.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
But also be able to put my nose on somebody,
you know.

Speaker 4 (01:30):
So I think, you know, the God gives it ability,
but also just the versatility and ability to be able
to line up anywhere and be able to make an impact.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
However, I need to, Hey, Terrence, what was the conversation
like after the draft?

Speaker 1 (01:44):
Where are you today? Where you live? I kind of
take us through your moment. Yeah, you know, I got
the call.

Speaker 4 (01:50):
I'm back home at my house in Denver, Colorado with
my family. I just close family and some friends, and
you know, just got to share that special moment of
a of a.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
Dream coming true.

Speaker 4 (02:01):
Got the call and just you know, was super excited
for the opportunity, but also just you know, blessed and
be able to look back and be grateful for the
moment and just everything that God has put in my
hands and just super excited and blessed.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
Hey, Terrence, You're gonna be in a tight end room
with Tyler Hickby. Is that somebody that you've been able
to watch and what are some things that you think
you'll be able to learn from.

Speaker 4 (02:23):
Yeah, you know, there's a couple of vets in that room.
And just being able to learn from those guys. Obviously
they've been really good in the NFL for a reason,
and so just being able to learn from those guys,
I think is one of the biggest things for me.
You know, I love to sit behind people and learn
and push people, but I just have some vests like that.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
It's such a blessing.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
Hey, Terrence, Obviously they don't run the same scheme by
any shot, but will Stein who was so creative with
all the different ways that he attacks space and some
of the emotions and your usage and that. Do you
see anything there that can help you kind of pick
up what Sean McVay he does with similar attacks on spacing, votion,

(03:02):
that type of thing when you come up to the NFL.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
Yeah, one hundred percent.

Speaker 4 (03:06):
I think we kind of take a lot of stuff
from the Rams offense. We've watched some tape on them,
so there's definitely some carryover, and especially you know, coach
Sean McVay is one of the greats, and he's always
has a great offense and like you said, using motions
and to tax space and everything like that. So I'm
super excited to get a part of that and get
the playbook and dive into it.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
Thanks Eric, You once spoke about looking up to somebody
like Drew Brees' Super Bowl champion. Now you get a
chance to play with another Super Bowl champion in Matthew Stafford.
What are you most looking forward to by learning with
him and being able to contribute to this offense as well?

Speaker 4 (03:42):
Yeah, you said, having a guy like that who is
a Super Bowl champion and one of the greats. You know, Uh,
my little brother is a diehard Lions fan, so he
loves Matt Stafford and has loved him his whole life.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
And so just being able.

Speaker 4 (03:55):
To play with a guy like that who has a
lot of experience, won a Super Bowl and super obviously
heldon uh as a super talent. I just I can't
wish to be able to catch passes from him.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
Is he with you right now? And what was his
reaction then? Being being a Stafford fan, he.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
Was super excited.

Speaker 4 (04:12):
He's in the other room, but he was super excited
because he grew up a Detroit.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
Lions fan and Stafford this guy.

Speaker 4 (04:18):
That was the first thing he said to me, He said,
I gotta play with the goat.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
Hey, Tarnes, you're coming to LA You're gonna get coached
by Sean McVay. Has that sunk in yet? How are
you feeling about all of that?

Speaker 1 (04:32):
Uh?

Speaker 4 (04:32):
You know, honestly, it hasn't sunk in yet. It's it's
it's kind of a surreal moment for me and just
trying to you know, take it in, be with my
family and be able to go attack the opportunity.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
You know, I'm just just it really hasn't hit me. Honestly.
He's been surreal. So I'm kind of just in awe
right now.

Speaker 3 (04:48):
Hey, Claris, what have you learned from Coach Landing that
has helped some of the principles that he's helped me
instill in you that he's will help you with the
next level playing for the Rams.

Speaker 4 (04:58):
Yeah, I think Coach lands so much into me. I
think just one is hard work works.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
You know.

Speaker 4 (05:04):
We got down and dirty every every week and practiced
super hard and he demanded a lot out of me.

Speaker 1 (05:09):
So everything that he's taught me with that with the practice.

Speaker 4 (05:12):
Schedule, but also just being a coach that we did
so much on offense and having to learn so much.
I think he's just improved my career from that standpoint.
And then just you know what organs about winning, It's
about winning. It's about the culture that he's built up there,
and I think that translates anywhere
