Speaker 1 (00:03):
The things that say, But.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
Obviously there's a lot of factors that go into it.
I know, I know Fox tried to argue that twelve
o'clock white out was the same as a seven o'clock
white out. I think people would disagree with that. So
there's been factors that have impacted a little bit. But
when you're able to get a night game against opponent
like we do with the with the sky, the black

(00:40):
sky and the white uniforms and then, excuse me, the
white crowd and the contrast of the dark uniforms, and
just the anticipation and the build up, the students sleeping
outside the stadium all week, it's it's just turned into
a special event.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
That is James Franklin, Penn State head coach, and I'm
sure the text are going to come in, Oh, he's
gotta choke like he always does at a big game,
and I'm kind of worried about that myself as a
Penn State fan. So as James Franklin talking about having
a white out against Oregon tomorrow night in Happy Valley,
I love these games as a Penn State fan. It's
it's some of the best environment you could find in sport.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
In America.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
Honestly, I am biased, and I love the shot he
took at Fox. There bony about Fox trying to tell
us a white out at nude. Memo to Fox, Nobody
once a big game at noon except you.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
Nobody.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
I mean not a single person in the world once
a big game at noon except you. But you paid
so much money for it that you got it. You
know what I mean. There's nothing that could be done
about it. But yeah, don't try. Don't try to blow
smoke up people's glutes. Fox.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
Praise the ward for NBC though being part of this
Big ten package as well, because that is what it
will be on, and that is going to be a scene.
And Penn State fans have been waiting. I don't mean
this as a joke, say fan back, I've been waiting, waiting,
waiting for their big game opportunity this year, and it
certainly comes to our night. They're going to be on
Ready for that one, myle warl my god, tomorrow night.

(02:09):
Tomorrow night is just a amazing night of football. Anyway,
let's get into it all right.

Speaker 3 (02:15):
That brings us to the Couch Potato Guide, where we
tell you what is on when so you can plan accordingly,
Ryder Cup getting ready to get started in about twenty minutes.
It's on USA all day today because they've got the
is it Forsom's are four ball?

Speaker 1 (02:34):
First?

Speaker 3 (02:35):
I get confused, No, force some forwesome for Someom's because
that's alternate shot. That's what they're doing this morning. They're
doing four ball where each guy you know plays his
ball in the afternoon, and then Saturday all day seven
am to six pm on NBC and then Sunday of
the singles matches noon to six on NBC for the
Ryder Cup Tonight, Bony. Two pretty good interesting football games

(02:57):
tonight Florida State Virgin acc openers for d squads on
ESPN at seven o'clock. And how about that big twelve
matchup TCU Arizona State at nine o'clock on Fox, Bony.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
We saw him play UNC in week number one, but
Josh Hoover, the quarterback for TCU, putting up some pretty
big numbers. Back when does he start to get a
little bit more? Hey is this guy? This guy? Heis
been good, but he's got a big showcase today on Fox,
so we'll see if he's doing that. If a wide
receiver too for TCU mccowister off the jarg he had two.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
Hundred and fifty four yards receiving against SMU. SMU's defense
is a brutal I mean it is brutal, y'all. Anyway, Saturday, man,
we know you lived for Saturdays this time of year.
Saturday at noon, Georgia Tech Wake is on ESPN. At noon,
You've got Duke and Syracuse on ACC network. At noon,

(03:51):
you got Louisville Pitt at ESPN two. So ACC is
all over that noon window bony. They got him little
all over that Notre Dame Arkansas a fun one, no name,
secondary banged up. Arkansas's got Taylor Green slinging it. That's
ABC at noon, and then USC and Illinois at noon
on Fox. Why, by the way, why is Illinois still ranked?

Speaker 1 (04:14):
I mean they were number nine. I guess I just
didn't feel like taking them all the way.

Speaker 3 (04:17):
Out of there.

Speaker 1 (04:18):
But I lost by fifty three. At When you lose
by fifty three, that should be an automatic red flag
that you're out of the thing.

Speaker 3 (04:24):
Great call, though, By the way, way, I guess if
they win this week, they'll validate the ranking, you know
against USC.

Speaker 1 (04:29):
We'll talk more about it later. I'm a little bit
concerned about Duke of Syracuses, are you a little bit?
Because fran Brown is such a good coach. I know,
there's a there's a natural feeling of oh, you're playing
the backup quarterback in Collins bo with fran Brown feels
like Mackie maximizes the most he can aut it whoever's
playing quarterback. Right, He's kind of like the ACC's version

(04:50):
of Wayne Kiffin a little bit here. Whoever's playing quarterback
for them, they end up slinging it, don't they. We'll
see what happened.

Speaker 3 (04:57):
They Yeah, the last two quarterbacks, right, McCord Angelly was balling.
So do they have something going on there? You know
what I mean where that offense can slide somebody in.
I mean, Ricky Collins is no joke. He's an LSU transfer, yep,
you know. But anyway, he's not you know, we'll see
he's new, he's not experienced. I know this is I

(05:17):
think it was his first pass with a touchdown pass
against Clemson, right, Yeah, dude go through there favored by
what five five and a half.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
So I don't know. I'm just I think Duke could win,
but I'm not gonna think this is gonna be easy one.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
Wait, he could go either way. A game could go
either way. It should be a good one. The three
point thirty, Man, we got some good, real good games.
Start at three thirty lsu O, miss can't wait to
watch that one on ABC Auburn, Texas A and m
ESPN at the same time. Ohio State Washington is sneaky
good Boe. Washington is explosive on offense. That should be

(05:47):
fun on CBS.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
UH.

Speaker 3 (05:49):
Then you throw in uh Indiana Iowa on Peacock three thirty,
you throw in Tennessee, Mississippi State, which I think is
a very interesting game. The balls on the road in
that one of four fifteen. We got some games. Man.
The ACC gives you cal BC during that window. By
the way, Hey, Cayl's quarterbacks one to watch. He wasn't
last week. He was not if they got shut out

(06:11):
by San Diego State.

Speaker 1 (06:12):
Fact, there's a couple of teams that possibly possibly could
be on upset of work tomorrow. You mentioned Washington, Ohio State.
That is that is one that is only what is
Ohio State favored by only eight in that game? I
think interesting spread there and I know Tennessee is really
really good. But that's one of those games where I
could see that game being a lot closer maybe than

(06:32):
people realize. At Mississippi State.

Speaker 3 (06:34):
Tennessee's about a seven and a half point favorite, I think.

Speaker 1 (06:37):
So the Vegas kind of feeling that too little bet.

Speaker 3 (06:38):
Yeah, I mean, I listen, it's the road in the
it's on the road in the SEC and Mississippi State
at home beat Arizona State. So there is this miss
Jeff Levy's doing a job. This team is better. I'm
a big believer in tenn this Tennessee team. Maybe Jolley
Agler goes in and turns it over. We know, and
I look like an idiot, but I'm a big believer
in this Tennessee team. Nighttime game games, man, I mean,

(07:00):
there's not enough TVs in America. It's just can put
every TV in America in your in your house tomorrow.
There's nothing to.

Speaker 1 (07:07):
Bring my TVs and my streams over to your house.
It's crazy, man, It's crazy.

Speaker 3 (07:12):
Between the local games in the national games and then
Charlotte at'e CE. Charlotte Ce's on at seven thirty tomorrow
night at the Bank on Apple against Montreal but then
you throw in all the college foobol games c W.
Why why couldn't SEW do it an afternoon game. I
guess they probably got the NASCAR's Finity race on.

Speaker 1 (07:29):
But hey see, this is a good, good nude spot there.
It's kind of yeah, it would have been good there.
That's kind of in the way for me. But anyway,
I will will pack up. By seven tomorrow we'll pack
hosting Virginia Tech. Then you've got the big national game
seven thirty Oregon Penn State. We mentioned on NBC Alabama Georgia.
Can't wait to watch this on ABC at seven thirty.

(07:50):
And then you throw in some teams of local interests
seven thirty app State at Boise State.

Speaker 3 (07:56):
App State please protect a damn football. I mean, they've
been a turnover machine last two week games. And then
at seven forty five, South Carolina tries to bounce back
from two straight losses at home against Kentucky on the
SEC network. AP State Pois's on FS one. By the way,
I should mention.

Speaker 1 (08:12):
That looking forward to South Carolina's bounced back, this is
an absolute must have game with what's coming up in
the next four or five weeks. Back I have a
two TV set up in the living room, and I'm
still not sure I got enough yet. I'm gonna have
to buy a TV today during the show because I
might need a third one.

Speaker 3 (08:26):
Well, this is where it is, the four I went
the hell you call it four box, box, the multiview,
whatever we're supposed to call it. That's where this comes
in handy, but it's still not enough. Charlotte Evstie.

Speaker 1 (08:36):
On the other side, it's just and I want to
give my attention to these games, and you can't. Like
the four box is great.

Speaker 3 (08:43):
But it's almost like you got to pick a couple
to kind of focus on more than the others. There's just,
my god, there's so much going on.

Speaker 1 (08:50):
There was a moment last week when the Syracuse Clemson
game had the weather delay that kind of messed up,
like the scheduling on the TV like a little bit,
like everything was all on different channels. I had to
go up two multiviews at two different TVs. I had
seven screens going on at one point, q Bone, look
at you. My head was spinning.

Speaker 4 (09:10):
This is where I come in again, guys. I've got
three TVs, two couches, and a recliner. There's enough space
for all of us to come over to the Marlow mansion.
We can look up all the televisions, have twenty seven
screens going at one time, and watch every single game
known to man tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (09:28):
All right, let me I'll get.

Speaker 3 (09:29):
Back to you.

Speaker 1 (09:29):
Let me check my schedule.

Speaker 3 (09:30):
Fix.

Speaker 4 (09:31):
If you bought Flounder breakfast but not me, great idea,
It's the least you could do.

Speaker 3 (09:36):
You owe me a trip.

Speaker 1 (09:37):
You know what. Tweet out your address and well, I
will think about it. Look at some of these texts
coming in.

Speaker 4 (09:41):
You know, we'll review.

Speaker 3 (09:42):
We'll review this idea, Bone and I gotta have a
staff meeting to figure out if this is worth doing.
Brandon says Clemson is on upset alert even on their
bye week.

Speaker 1 (09:51):
So there you go. I feel like clean. I feel
like that jokeuld be made about the Heels at some
point as well.

Speaker 3 (09:55):
Today we're a seven point favorite right now. Also multiple texters.
Bone helped me complete the line I was looking for
about Trayvon Mehrig, doctor research and son of a tar Heel.
Here's what I should have gone with about Marrig being
such a chill dude, chill happy dude off the field,
but an animal on the field. He is a gentleman

(10:19):
on the streets, but a freak in the cleats.

Speaker 1 (10:23):
That's a great while. That's what it's supposed to be.
Y'all killed it with that one. That used to be
my soccer motto back when I was a young Oh,
that's good stuff.
