Right the back half of the schedule is hard. But
you know, theoretically you can say, well, yeah, they can
win that game. That wouldn't be too much of a stretch.
It's a stretch to say they're gonna win all seven.
But look, I think their offense could carry them to
uh seven wins, and then if the defense is better
than I think it's gonna be, then maybe you're talking

is in play because we just don't know. Yeah, and
I think this division could be won with nine wins.

we really want is for them to have a chance

addressed too much defensively for them to still be like
a five win team or only pick up one win.

I think they have half of a good starting secondary.
And I think that to me, Jackson should be a
depth player, not a not a starter. But if something

Quarterback Tiers rankings, Ryce Young was the third highest mover
in terms of spots moved up. Now, it's still modest.
He moved up from twenty eight to twenty four. So
it's not like I'm telling you Bryce Young is in
the top ten. But only two quarterbacks, only Darnold and Baker, ironically,
two former Panther qbts.

There's my god, there's a lot of dex Panthers out there.

God, that's and they always seem to go up when
they leave here, don't they in the rankings. But anyway,
those are the only two that went up more than him.
He moved up a tier. This is kind of the
big news. This is some of the executive comments. They
because it's not done by writers. It's executives president passed.
It's coaches president pass that are on a panel of
like fifty people, So I mean, I feel like it's legit.

Mahomes was number one, but they moved him up from
tier four to Tier three Bony, and that Tier three
spans from I think like fifteen to twenty five or so.
It is, like, So, I mean, I don't think it's
a terrible range for him after basically a good half
season out of two years, right, I don't think it's
a bad range for him to be in if people

thought enough of him bone to jump him up a
tier and to put him in Tier three, And I
do believe a move to Tier two in the near
future is definitely possible for Bryce Young.

I think it's the right range. I know that we
don't want him to stay at number twenty four, but
to me, it's who he's ahead of and who he's with.
In Tier three, he's ahead of Russell Wilson, Kirk Cousins, Fields,
Pennix McCarthy, Daniel Jones, other lists MAC have had him
with those guys below.

Yeah, he needs to be above those guys and in
his tier, like in his number range Trevor Lawrence, Gino

other rankings. He has not been listed with Knicks in
Williams and May. As long as he's with those guys,

I'm good with that and not necessarily caring about what
number is.

The Tier three description is legit starter who needs a
run game and a defense to win, and then it
goes on to say, like, you know, couldn't carry a
pass heavy offense. I don't have a problem with Bryce
Young being in its tier. I don't know if y'all
do being in a tier where that's a description right
now Listen, I mean Kyler Murray.

Too also, who are higher up in the tier. But
if you're in there.

Also, if he maxes out in tier three, it will
be a disappointment to me. Like if he maxes out

whole career. Legit starter but needs a run game and
a defense to win, can't carry a pass heavy offense,
I would be disappointed. But I think for where he

is right now, I think it's fair. Tier two stops

wearing is Bryce rank. I think he will establish himself

that stuck out to me? Is tied for nine. Jalen
Hurts is tied with Stroud at nine, and he's a

lot of help for Jalen Hurts, but a guy who
wins football games, man and Justin Herbert is not a
better quarterback. If you're drafting a team right now, I'm

not taking Herbert over Jalen Hurts. I'm not taking Stroud

minutes here about this Bryce Young thing. In the midst
of all the ranting that we did that I did
yesterday Bone, especially about some of the like predictions for

the Panthers and rankings and all this stuff on a
negative standpoint, Bryce Youngbone.

In the annual Athletic.
Speaker 4 (33:57):
Quarterback Tiers rankings, Ryce Young was the third highest mover
in terms of spots moved up. Now, it's still modest.
He moved up from twenty eight to twenty four. So
it's not like I'm telling you Bryce Young is in
the top ten. But only two quarterbacks, only Darnold and Baker, ironically,
two former Panther qbts.
Speaker 3 (34:17):
There's my god, there's a lot of dex Panthers out there.
Speaker 4 (34:20):
God, that's and they always seem to go up when
they leave here, don't they in the rankings. But anyway,
those are the only two that went up more than him.
He moved up a tier. This is kind of the
big news. This is some of the executive comments. They
because it's not done by writers. It's executives president passed.
It's coaches president pass that are on a panel of
like fifty people, So I mean, I feel like it's legit.
(34:43):
Mahomes was number one, but they moved him up from
tier four to Tier three Bony, and that Tier three
spans from I think like fifteen to twenty five or so.
It is, like, So, I mean, I don't think it's
a terrible range for him after basically a good half
season out of two years, right, I don't think it's
a bad range for him to be in if people

thought enough of him bone to jump him up a
tier and to put him in Tier three, And I
do believe a move to Tier two in the near
future is definitely possible for Bryce Young.

I think it's the right range. I know that we
don't want him to stay at number twenty four, but
to me, it's who he's ahead of and who he's with.
In Tier three, he's ahead of Russell Wilson, Kirk Cousins, Fields,
Pennix McCarthy, Daniel Jones, other lists MAC have had him
with those guys below.

Yeah, he needs to be above those guys and in
his tier, like in his number range Trevor Lawrence, Gino
Smith bow Nicks, Darnold Drake May, Caleb Williams. So we
can debate within the tier where he should be, but
there's been other tiers MAC when he has not been
other rankings. He has not been listed with Knicks in
Williams and May. As long as he's with those guys,

I'm good with that and not necessarily caring about what
number is.

The Tier three description is legit starter who needs a
run game and a defense to win, and then it
goes on to say, like, you know, couldn't carry a
pass heavy offense. I don't have a problem with Bryce
Young being in its tier. I don't know if y'all
do being in a tier where that's a description right
now Listen, I mean Kyler Murray.
Speaker 3 (36:19):
Too also, who are higher up in the tier. But
if you're in there.
Speaker 4 (36:21):
Also, if he maxes out in tier three, it will
be a disappointment to me. Like if he maxes out
in that tier and doesn't get to Tier two at least,
I would be disappointed if that description fits him his
whole career. Legit starter but needs a run game and
a defense to win, can't carry a pass heavy offense,
I would be disappointed. But I think for where he

is right now, I think it's fair. Tier two stops
at fourteen and that's rock perty So as a number
one overall pick with the expectations.

He can't stay well.

The thing is, though, like Kayle Williams also can't stay there,
Bo Knicks can't stay there. Trevor Warren should not be
there to really honestly should not be seventeen. But it's
only because of the health. It's only like, if you
read what they're saying, it's only because of what he's
in the tier mac of expectations, where a lot of
those guys you expect to move up a tier at
some point, So I think he's that to me is

I'm of all the lists we get mad at, I'm good.
I'm good with with this one based on progress, based
off the neighbors that he has.

They acknowledge progress. Right, he moves up a tier, he
moves up four spots. There's like that. The people that
get me mad when they rank Bryce or they talk
about Bryce is the ones that don't really acknowledge any
progress or I think the progress is fake.

They're at least acknowledging the progress.

Was the one list that had him down there with
like Joe with a CBS, which one had with a
Cody Benjamin. I forget who it was that had him
with Flacco and all Justin Field and Russell Wilson, and
I'm trying to knock those guys. It was a scrubbino Tier.
That's the other guys that I look for.

I was watching him pregame and I'm like, the ball
does not jump out of his hand very well, and
he's small. I just don't know if there's enough talent
to really become a tier two, to be honest. So

I guess there's a feeling it goes back to the
physical attributes are not strong enough, not big enough, tier two.
Though he can't get into tier two with the way
he makes up for it with accuracy and anticipation and
ability to improvise like those things and processing.

He can't get to tier two.

He can't get into that twelve to fifteen range, which
is Prescott Love who Love is I think talent wise,
I like Love. I actually think he should be higher
if he's fully healthy, But he can't get into that
Prescott Love, Purty Kyler Murray Area like to me, that's
he can. I mean, look, he's not there yet. I

don't think he should be top fifteen yet. But you
don't think he can get there in time as the
team gets better around him.

As the team gets better around him and he plays
that point guard role, when everyone's doing their roles to
the best of their ability, that's only going to make
So he's not done growing yet. He's he's he's Klay,
He's being molded still. If you say his ceiling is
not a top ten quarterback of all time, I would
argue with you on that, And I had Panther fans
like I said that, I feel like Bryce Fitty. My

vision for Bryce is I could see him being seventh
in the league one year, eighth, ninth in the league.
I that that second part of the top ten. I
honestly believe he can get to because I think he
has these other other attributes. I mentioned, what do you
think his ceiling is? Because Bone's right, this guy that
this this coach that says I don't think his ceiling

is in Tier two. That means he can't become a
top fourteen quarterback. That that's I am with that.

We were talking about this, like there's a scenario Mac
where Bryce lives up to being what he was supposed
to be his number one pick, where he emerges as
maybe the best quarterback in the NFC, but because of
just how to the AFC is of that position, he's
still the fifth, sixth, seventh best quarterback in.

All of football. I think he'll be solidly in Tier
two next year.

Whenever we're having this conversation going into twenty twenty six,
wearing is Bryce rank. I think he will establish himself
as a quarterback that's in the top half of the league,
but closer to top ten to twelve than the guy that's
in the bottom half of the league at twenty four.

If he is not bone regarded and again I shouldn't
put a lot of stock in these lists and what
you know, people aren't watching every game and all that stuff.
But like, if he's not regarded as least right there
around fifteen, like I that's that is extremely doable. Second
year in the offense, better weapons around him.

Can I point out something else about the quarterback tier
that stuck out to me? Is tied for nine. Jalen
Hurts is tied with Stroud at nine, and he's a
couple spots behind Justin Herbert. Look, we know there's a
lot of help for Jalen Hurts, but a guy who
wins football games, man and Justin Herbert is not a
better quarterback. If you're drafting a team right now, I'm

not taking Herbert over Jalen Hurts. I'm not taking Stroud
over Hurts.

Right now.

Stroud's still nine. I know his offensive line was garbage
last year, but Stroud he wasn't. I know he didn't
play like that last year.

Right now, Stroud is nine on this list, Baker Mayfield's eleven.
With all that Baker Mayfield has to work with right now,
Abuka has been a beast in training camp. I would
player for player, not looking ahead to the full time future,
