What do you do when you’re stuck and don’t know what steps to take forward? My take is to have some quiet time, sit down, and let the answer come to you.

Our ice maker recently broke down: every time it produced ice, it would make this groaning, grinding, whining noise that we couldn’t escape from. It drove me crazy. But since I didn’t want to buy a new refrigerator-freezer—which costs around $3,000—I did my best to figure out what was wrong. Then, one day, all the answers just dawned on me–and I instantly knew how to fix the fridge.

In this episode, I share the story of how I was able to fix my broken fridge and discuss how you can tap into the power of your intuition. I describe an amazing ritual for finding lost things. I also explain how the Only 10s principle can help you access your intuition and highlight the power of sitting, being quiet, and letting knowledge come to you.

“If you’re stuck with something and don’t know what direction to take, what choice to make, what’s next, sit on the couch and wait. Be quiet and wait. Wait for that intuition, that little voice, that direction.” - Mark J. Silverman
