Captain Paul Swain, officer of the Salvation Army, and Norman Mackenzie, Community Engagement Coordinator at the Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC) in San Diego share how the ARC turned their lives around and how they have devoted their lives in service to others. About Captain Paul Swain and Norman Mackenzie

Captain Paul Swain is a Salvation Army officer. He started doing crystal meth as a way to work more hours but it ruined his relationships and career. He found the ARC and God and turned his life around. He became an officer in the Salvation Army and started a family and now serves others and helps them get clean.

 

Norman Mackenzie is the Community Engagement Coordinator at the San Diego ARC. After losing relationships, going to jail, and becoming homeless due to drug addiction, Norman found the ARC in 2010 and has been sober ever since. He went back to school and now helps others regain control of their lives.
