It's Friday, April twenty one. In twenty twenty three, on
the outskirts of Townsville in Queensland, Australia, eighteen year old
Kine Moore is with a bunch of mates at the
local park, listening to music, having a few drinks and
chilling out. The next morning he's found dead in that

same park. You don't run someone over and not feel
our criminal investigation was launched.

Speaker 3 (00:40):
Someone out there, you know, sally and they're keeping quiet.
They're not coming forward and it would be eating at them.
I just want justice from my boy.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
His sister is heartbroken, heart heartbroken.

And I sometimes think back to this, like that we
both had that same day off and we hung out together,
you know things like that, But like that was the
last day that I had with him.

His cousin and the mates are looking for answers.

Me and kme always stuck at the kids table together
when we used to go out to lunch or dinner.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
So he was like a brother to me.

We fought like siblings.

His mum just wants to know the truth sometimes seeing
you just to let it go.

But I don't want to regret that later that I
did nothing. Really, nothing's going to bring him back, but
it's still just be nice for a bit of justice
for him.

Yeah, a bit of justice came. Police have closed the
case and the coroner has decided that it was just
an accident.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
It is likely Caane passed out relatively early in the night,
at or around nine point thirty pm. This is supported
by witnesses who has seen a male sleeping on the ground.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
But everyone that knows Kane believes there's more to the story.
The people in that park that night all knew each other.

There'd be this weird feeling of well, the person who
did this was probably at the funeral.
