It's the Morning Mixed Matt Harris, Liz, Luda and TJ.
And you won't find us here in a few days.
What what does that even mean?

Speaker 2 (00:08):
Liz?

Speaker 3 (00:08):
Okay, So we are moving on our little dial signal
or whatever you want to call it.

Speaker 4 (00:13):
We've been one oh seven nine I don't know, dred years.

Speaker 3 (00:16):
Yeah, as long as you've worked here, Matt, and we're
making a little change. So starting Thursday morning, if you
want to be able to hear us, you're going to
have to go to one hundred point nine or ninety
nine point three starting Thursday. If you put one oh
seven nine on, you are not going to hear us.

Speaker 4 (00:33):
So right now you're.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
Sitting there, you got your presets, this is the best time,
wall you have a top of mind, go ahead and
set one hundred point nine or ninety nine point three
as your station so you can find us or both. Yeah,
because there's going to be different people that one station
works better for than other people are based on your geography.

(00:57):
And you can always find us on our app, the
Free Mix Charlotte App.

Speaker 5 (01:00):
There you go.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
Good morning, Harris and lay.

Speaker 5 (01:08):
So December Morning Sports. DA's powered by Mark Spain Real
Estate and I know you're.

Speaker 3 (01:12):
Proud when I do the sports assays. So Dwight Howard
is forty apparently he.

Speaker 5 (01:16):
Played NBA, played for the Hornets for a bit.

Speaker 4 (01:18):
Sam Hunt is forty one, who had that song.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
Body Like a Back Road. Yeah, And Nicki Minaj is
forty three. It took a lot of searching, but I
found some clean lyrics.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
You gotta come to fly.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
Every time, sort of sportsy because it's she's dating a
better yes, but she's dating somebody who's a sportsy guy.

Speaker 6 (01:46):
Oh.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
Nicki Minaj is last I knew, but you know I
can't keep up with her, I.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
Know, right, Yeah, but she didn't text me when she
and him broke up.

Speaker 5 (01:55):
She got married, Yeah, she got married to somebody else.
She was dating somebody, all right.

Speaker 3 (01:59):
And then Terry is sixty one. She's best known for
Desperate Highs Housewives, Lewis and Clark. She did have a
cameo on Frasier once, but for some reason, the first
thing I thought of when I thought of Terry Hatcher
is the episode of Seinfeld she's on.

Speaker 7 (02:14):
And by the way, they're real and they're spectacular.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
And I watched that episode, probably entirely too young, but
it stuck with me. So there's that, and then Kim
Basinger is seventy two. And finally it's a national holiday.
We can all get behind National Brownie Day. Take a
moment to tell yourself you deserve that centerpiece. Don't eat
the corners like the time on the corners, you could have.

Speaker 5 (02:41):
All the corners get in the morning.

Speaker 8 (02:44):
It's a morning mixed with Matt Harrison, Liz Ludo.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
What I want, what I want, what we want is
to you for you to listen to us.

Speaker 5 (02:54):
Yeah, on a new number.

Speaker 3 (02:56):
So moving, We are absolutely moving, but you can come
with us. And right now now it was the easiest
time to make sure you're with us, because on Thursday morning,
if you put one oh seven nine on, you will
not hear us. Don't be started.

Speaker 5 (03:08):
I'll start crying. Yeah, you don't want that.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
So what we want to do is make sure that
you're all set up. So right now you got your
presets in front of you, So go ahead and take
a moment. We have two different numbers that we will
potentially be on for you starting Thursday, and that's one
hundred point nine. If you go there and it doesn't
have like a great signal, then you can try ninety
nine point three. And I drove all around the city

(03:30):
over the weekend. There's a lot of places that just
changes from the one to the other. But it's gonna
start Thursday morning, So make your changes right now.

Speaker 4 (03:38):
Put that in your preset, or else you'll forget.

Speaker 5 (03:41):
Yeah, we don't want that.

Speaker 3 (03:42):
Yeah, because kndidly, I didn't have those numbers saved in
my presets.

Speaker 4 (03:45):
And I know sometimes it's easy to just like go.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
Boom boom boom boom boom ye app, So.

Speaker 3 (03:49):
You're gonna have to search us out probably, and then
we're also anywhere anytime free mix Charlotte app. Go to
mix Charlotte dot com. But make the move with us.
Don't be on Thursday extending you know, sassy Facebook messages
like where are you? We can't fuck Go ahead, set the.

Speaker 9 (04:05):
Preset now one hundred point nine ninety nine point three.

Speaker 5 (04:10):
I'm practicing one.

Speaker 2 (04:11):
Order point nine. Yeah, notty nine point three.

Speaker 9 (04:14):
And this is kind of a homecoming for me too,
because I spent you know, eighteen years on ninety nine
point three.

Speaker 2 (04:20):
You do, so this is like this is where I blong.

Speaker 4 (04:23):
Okay, all right, I'm don't do that voice again.

Speaker 2 (04:26):
What order point nine.

Speaker 3 (04:27):
That's gonna discourage anyone from one film. Raw, Yeah, it's
gonna want to follow that.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
I've been known, I've been told many times that he
did not have a radio voice. So just go with
one hundred point nine and ninety nine point three.

Speaker 3 (04:44):
Right now, because you're gonna do that thing where you
say I'm gonna add it later, I'll remember, You're not
gonna remember.

Speaker 4 (04:49):
Just do it right now. One hundred point nine ninety
nine point three.

Speaker 5 (04:52):
In fact, I'll see you, guys. I'm gonna go out
and change my car.

Speaker 3 (04:54):
You need to.

Speaker 6 (04:55):
I know I do.

Speaker 5 (04:56):
I do so, Thank you please, and we hope to
see you. Love to hear you.

Speaker 4 (05:02):
Down the all down, Yeah, down the hall at one
hundred point nine.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
That starts Thursday.

Speaker 5 (05:06):
Starts Thursday, one hundred point nine at ninety nine point three.
We will be there.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
Morning mixed Matt Harris, Liz Luda And here's something nutty
before the nutty story about this guy who swallowed something
to get away with it.

Speaker 5 (05:17):
Weird. Whoa, here's something nutty.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
We're moving. We are so starting Thursday. If you listen
to one oh seven nine, you're not going to hear us.
We are actually moving to one hundred at point nine.
So make plans right now, go ahead and set it
in your presets. We will either be one hundred point nine.
If you check it out and you're like, oh, I
don't think that that sounds.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
A little fuzzy, then the other option.

Speaker 3 (05:39):
Is you can go to ninety nine point three and
that way you can still hear us, same great music,
same people. You will say, great us, well we'll be here. Well,
you know, we can't over promise. I mean, it's still
us at the end of the day. But make that
change that way, when you know you get in the
car on Thursday, you're not like, where did my people go?

Speaker 4 (06:00):
Because we changed?

Speaker 5 (06:01):
So grateful and tell your friends and all your enemies.

Speaker 1 (06:05):
Tell them to One of the first jeweled eggs ever
made just sold at auction for a record thirty million
last week. The Russian jewelry House made it way back
in nineteen thirteen. But here's another egg story. Thirty two
year old guy got arrested in New Zealand. He tried
to steal a small Faberge egg from a jewelry stroll
or in Auckland by swallowing it. Oh, he walked in

(06:28):
the store, popped in his mouth, but didn't even make.

Speaker 5 (06:32):
It back outside. They arrested him in the store.

Speaker 1 (06:35):
It was a special edition James Bond themed a necklace
called the Octopussy Surprise locket from that movie.

Speaker 3 (06:42):
Okay, so what do you do?

Speaker 6 (06:43):
What do you do?

Speaker 3 (06:44):
Is it breakable? Do you Oh?

Speaker 1 (06:48):
It's covered in green enamel one hundred and eighty three diamonds,
valued at nineteen grand.

Speaker 5 (06:54):
Only fifty of them made. The nineteen eighty.

Speaker 1 (06:57):
Three movie centers on this fake fabricie egg that's auctioned off,
so it's a reference to the can film. Not clear
if digesting it will hurt the resale value.

Speaker 3 (07:09):
You surgically seek it out or just hope everything.

Speaker 1 (07:12):
Wow, it's been a week last I knew it been
a week. Still hasn't happen, But they're waiting for nature
to take its course.

Speaker 5 (07:19):
It would be worth more more.

Speaker 1 (07:22):
It's got a story behind it, Okay.

Speaker 3 (07:26):
That is you know, I probably am not the person
that would buy an item that expensive anyways, Like maybe
I'm not the riperson to ask.

Speaker 9 (07:35):
I don't want to have to buy anything that's been
sifted through a colander.

Speaker 5 (07:39):
Yeah, you know, but if it's nineteen grand and they
give it to you for free.

Speaker 2 (07:44):
Okay, Now, even.

Speaker 1 (07:47):
If I made a couple of grand off it, I'm good.
I will try to get an update on that. I
just can't see how that comes out.

Speaker 3 (07:55):
You needing news, don't worry, Mats. Matt's tuned in. He
will let you know he is average egg watch.

Speaker 1 (08:01):
Yeah, he was charged with the number two and then
this when a guy in Ohio facing charges. It's on
the West Virginia border, so it explains a lot in
a minute. Okay, he used to drive through at his
local bank, but he put meth in there instead of
the money. No, yeah, I think it might have been
a little mistake. You switch baggy bagging money, beggy.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
Meth money in one end meth in the other hand.
You know, you just get so confused and you do.

Speaker 1 (08:27):
The bank called it in. The cops tracked him down,
searched his car, and there was more.

Speaker 5 (08:31):
I don't know why. He was just giving a little
bit kind of stingy and he will be facing some charges.

Speaker 2 (08:37):
There you go.

Speaker 5 (08:38):
What a day in the news.

Speaker 1 (08:39):
Thanks for starting your day with The Morning Miss.

Speaker 8 (08:42):
It's the Morning mixed with Matt Harrison Liz Louda.

Speaker 5 (08:44):
Now here's your latest.

Speaker 3 (08:46):
Pop up how was by Mark's Pain in Real Estate,
and Kay Winslet shared a story about the time she
was on SNL and apparently she was the week after
Ashley Simpson got in trouble for like lip syncing and
that was not the most scarring moment. She was on
Graham Norton on Friday and she talked about what the
most horrifying part.

Speaker 4 (09:05):
Was and also, I have to say something else, And
this is a story I've never never told.

Speaker 3 (09:09):
Eminem asked me to shave his bottom. It's always like
a pooh bum thing for me when I come on
this handt held razor.

Speaker 8 (09:20):
Well he did.

Speaker 4 (09:20):
He said, would you shave my butt?

Speaker 3 (09:22):
It was em Eminem. Yeah, yeah, like the rapper, Like
could you imagine just being like I asked that lady,
she'll shave my back, Like no, not back, not back,
lower back. But guy, there you go. I just didn't
want to say it, but yeah, I know you imagine.

Speaker 4 (09:39):
Could you imagine I'm not and keeping a straight I
guess you would do it.

Speaker 9 (09:44):
He would shave Eminem's but of course, yeah, I think
I'd be really nervous just for the story, or yeah,
just to help a brother.

Speaker 5 (09:53):
The story the.

Speaker 3 (09:54):
Fact that she's kept that story to herself though for
like twenty.

Speaker 2 (09:56):
Years, right, I'd been telling that like the SNL I
I would.

Speaker 3 (10:00):
Have kept it in the monologue or something, right. Yeah,
By the way, I was just flagged down by Eminem
smooth Bottom. Moving forward.

Speaker 1 (10:08):
And plans for Love and Life Music Fast twenty twenty
six are on hold. Organizers announced on Instagram last Friday,
Love and Life We all went last year AMDB Charlotte's
signature festival.

Speaker 5 (10:21):
They had big names.

Speaker 1 (10:23):
Post Malone, Stevie Nicks, bit Bullgwens defining the past in
the first year, the festival generator and estimated thirty two
million in academic impact. What they said was quote due
to the circumstances, due to circumstances outsider control, Love and
Life will take a short pause in twenty twenty six,
and then they turned off Instagram comments. They were scheduled

(10:44):
to return in May Southern Entertainment. The people behind them
never released schedule or headliners or ticket sales or anything
like that. Third consecutive year for the music festival sold
out its first year and it was a very busy
week last year.

Speaker 5 (10:58):
Remember that Alph Hendrick.

Speaker 4 (11:00):
Dave Matthews, yeah, nights, all kinds of stuff.

Speaker 5 (11:03):
So that is sad.

Speaker 3 (11:06):
I hope it comes back next year, me too. Next
Miley Cyrus has a fear of paper. I don't think
I've ever heard this one before, but she said she
doesn't like it because it's touched by dry hands. And
she said around the holidays, people get frustrated with her
because she doesn't want wrapping paper because even wrapping paper bothers.

Speaker 5 (11:23):
Her, bothers me. Really, yeah, it bothers me.

Speaker 1 (11:26):
You prefer like a bag, Yeah, yeah, yeah, okay, I
mean I'm not freaked out like she is.

Speaker 3 (11:31):
I've heard of people that don't like the sound of
like if you use like a cotton ball or something
that noise, But I've never heard of paper.

Speaker 5 (11:38):
Yeah, yeah, I don't. I don't like it.

Speaker 1 (11:40):
I mean, it's not I'm not like her, because she
was like, she says, O, my pictures throw up. Oh
she was on Kimmel talking about he had paper there
and she was like gagging.

Speaker 2 (11:48):
But like, how do you get through life?

Speaker 3 (11:51):
Yeah? Like you have a giant stack of paper in front.

Speaker 1 (11:55):
Of me as much certain kinds of paper, like wrap
paper bothers me. New the old newspaper used to bother me. Uh,
but not like maybe sick. Just give me a kind
of a like nails.

Speaker 5 (12:09):
On a chalkboard, a little bit that get past it.

Speaker 1 (12:13):
It would just be that first initial thing and then
I was okay, weird yeah, yeah, yeah, I am a
weirdo and do other things. One thing the Panthers kind
of one for without playing Yeah, Tampa loss, Tampa Bay
Buccaneers loss. So Tampa is still in first, but they
have the same record, so they're right there in the
chase for the playoffs. So right, that is good stuff.

(12:34):
And the other big news is we're moving.

Speaker 3 (12:36):
Yeah, starting Thursday. You're not gonna hear us on one
oh seven nine anymore, so go ahead and set your
presets now.

Speaker 4 (12:41):
We are moving to one hundred point nine.

Speaker 1 (12:44):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (12:44):
If you don't really pick up as good of a
signal on that, you can try ninety nine point three.
And that way you can still follow along with us,
listen to us because we would super super appreciate it.
And then as always, you can always use our app anywhere.
It's the free Mixed Charlotte app.

Speaker 5 (13:00):
With Matt Harris and Liz Luda.

Speaker 1 (13:02):
It's we do so everybody at this time here it
is in seven O four or five, seven one or
seven nine is the number we'd love.

Speaker 3 (13:13):
To hear from you, Matt Liz, Am I the problem
for telling my brother in law no. Every year we
get roped into buying my mother and father in law
these extravagant Christmas gifts that are frankly out of our
price range. Without fail, they will let us know they
bought a big gift and then what our.

Speaker 4 (13:30):
Share is to pay half.

Speaker 3 (13:32):
Last year, my husband tried to stand up to his
brother who guilted him about how much their parents have
done for him.

Speaker 4 (13:38):
So this year, when they sent a message, I called
and said, no, we are not doing that this year.

Speaker 3 (13:45):
Now they're being weird and acting like we said we
didn't want to get together at the holidays and that
I am controlling. I don't want my husband or his
parents to have a strained relationship as a result. Am
I the problem?

Speaker 1 (13:56):
M I'll let you go first, neither could you look
like you're fired up? The brother in law is the problem.
You can't go buy something and then tell them the price,
tell them the price, then you tell them what you're buying.

Speaker 5 (14:10):
So you just don't go out and buy something and
say I need a thousand dollars.

Speaker 3 (14:13):
Whoa, whoa, I wasn't thinking that big.

Speaker 5 (14:15):
Well, I'm making something up, but dang, whatever it is,
I mean, you have to run it by that.

Speaker 9 (14:22):
I think there is a limit you can do that. Hey,
I needs yeah, I need you to throw in fifty bucks.
That's going Yeah, I'd maybe do that, but like, I
don't know if I'm going that expensive, I may want
to get them my own gift.

Speaker 1 (14:38):
For one hundred dollars, you know what I mean. You
still have to run a buy the complete thing. You
can't just say let's go in for a gift and
then buy it.

Speaker 3 (14:44):
I understand that in the long run, like yeah, that
makes them jerks that they just keep assuming. But in
this case, it happens every single year. You can't act
surprised once it's December when they do exactly what they
do every year. And if you knew it was going
to be a problem, should have said back in September
or October, hey we're doing our own gift this year,

(15:05):
and just left it at that, that's all you got
to say. But instead you knew what was gonna happen,
and you waited, and you waited, and now you're panicking,
and I mean, they shouldn't just expect you to kick
the money in, but you probably should have been pro active.

Speaker 1 (15:19):
Seven oh four or five seven oh one of seven nine,
I will go off the chart to really off the
side note, Okay, you should blame.

Speaker 5 (15:28):
Her husband. Yeah, why is she dealing with all this? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (15:34):
You know she did say he tried to stand up
to his brother last year.

Speaker 5 (15:37):
Well obviously he didn't.

Speaker 3 (15:38):
You know what those Sometimes in your relationship, you know
who's the good guy and the bad guy like you,
Sometimes you gotta play that role, but.

Speaker 1 (15:44):
It can You can never let your significant other be
the bad person with your family. Yes, you have to
be the bad person with your family, and they have
to be the bad person with their family, right, because.

Speaker 5 (15:56):
That's just the way it has to be.

Speaker 3 (15:57):
Yeah, but in this case, if he keeps throwing money
every single year, at some point you gotta stand out
and be like no, right.

Speaker 5 (16:03):
Yeah, so you have shared money at that point, you know,
but you gotta say. You can't just say, oh, I
bought it, and here it is.

Speaker 1 (16:09):
You've got to say, here's a couple of things I'm
thinking about.

Speaker 5 (16:12):
Uh, what do you guys think?

Speaker 1 (16:14):
And then you go, oh, that's a bit much but
steep for us, right, and then they say, oh, you
poor suckers.

Speaker 4 (16:21):
Yeah, but you know it's coming. You gotta you gotta
do proactive.

Speaker 1 (16:24):
If don't do, don't buy it, and then tell ask
and give a few opportunity, you know, suggests, uh, has
it happened in your world? Seven oh four or five
seven oh one o seven nine? You know what's happening
in our world.

Speaker 2 (16:35):
We're moving, We're moving.

Speaker 3 (16:37):
On down the high Oh yeah, So starting Thursday, if
you turn on one oh seven nine, you're not going
to hear us. We will be on one hundred point
nine and ninety nine point three right now while you're
looking at your radio. Don't say you're gonna do it later.
Go ahead and set those presets. One hundred point nine
ninety nine point.

Speaker 5 (16:54):
Three Morning Mix Matt Harris and the Quirky Liz Luda.

Speaker 1 (16:57):
She looks at social media hundred hours a day so
you don't have to, and finds really cool things. And
if you want to find out the cool things she sees,
what she'll tell us about in a minute. You need
to be listening to one hundred point nine or ninety
nine point three starting Thursday, because that's where the show's moving.
We are moving one hundred point nine or ninety nine
point three, both of them. One hundred point nine, get

(17:18):
in your head, one hundred point nine, one hundred point nine, Okay,
what you find.

Speaker 3 (17:21):
And also on that note, that means we will not
be on one oh seven nine, So if you want
to hear us, you have to go there.

Speaker 2 (17:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (17:27):
So for the cool stuff I've been seeing is I
saw that Staples has custom wrapping paper this year, and
it is the coolest thing ever because people are going
into Canva and creating like different designs and they're putting
their dogs faces on it. There's significant others faces on it,
and that way when they're wrapping gifts, they're making them
like catered to whoever's unwrapping it. And I thought that

(17:48):
was the coolest thing ever, because if I received a
box and it was wrapped and had my face on it,
I would never open it.

Speaker 2 (17:53):
I'd be like, that's the coolest thing I've ever seen.

Speaker 1 (17:55):
I thought you would put the face of the person
giving the present on it.

Speaker 5 (18:02):
So you would know who it came from.

Speaker 3 (18:03):
Oh I see, I thought in the sense of like,
don't need a name tag. Look for your patio kind
your face.

Speaker 2 (18:09):
So you do pictures of you together, right right?

Speaker 3 (18:17):
That feels like a little bit more difficult to create,
but yeah, yeah, I'm here with you, Gosha. What you
mean that's not difficulty a picture of you and oh
I met with a little lasso tool where you got
to go and cut it?

Speaker 9 (18:27):
You know what?

Speaker 4 (18:27):
With AI these days, they'll figure it out.

Speaker 3 (18:29):
We'll just we'll tell what to do it. And the
other thing I saw that is the coolest thing ever
that is to my knowledge, never existed, is an ice
cream advent calendar. What what?

Speaker 2 (18:40):
How beautiful is this?

Speaker 3 (18:41):
So you have to keep it in the freezer? And
so I saw this lady she has one and it's
from like a local and I believe the correct term
is creamery in her area.

Speaker 2 (18:51):
And so they do this thing and it's.

Speaker 3 (18:53):
Weird flavors, and they're like sample sizes where every day
or every night, when you take your like usually it's
like a piece of chocolate or whatever it is, you
get a fancy flavor of ice cream.

Speaker 5 (19:03):
Like a sample, like just a couple of spoonful, like
a spoonful or just.

Speaker 4 (19:07):
Enough to get a taste, you know what I mean?
You know those little condiment.

Speaker 2 (19:10):
Cups you just see like a ram account gotcha.

Speaker 3 (19:12):
That size, because, honestly, at the end of the holiday season,
the fact that you've eaten twenty four samples of ice
cream in a row, you probably don't want more than
the sample size. But I just want to say, look
at you, Tony's and Gastonia. I'm looking at you, Tillamook,
wherever you may be. We need more ice cream admint calendars.
I take up fridge space for that. I got the

(19:34):
Aldie cheese one in the fridge.

Speaker 5 (19:36):
Oh you know, you're just coming at the lactose intolerant people.

Speaker 3 (19:39):
I say, carry, It's one of the few things my
body can do is properly process that. And that's that's
honestly affects at this age.

Speaker 1 (19:46):
Would like it done with a full least a full
scoop in there though, right like that, or like an
ice cream sandwich or something, oh sort of you know,
some sort of novelty.

Speaker 2 (19:56):
Yeah, I'm a big sandwich guy.

Speaker 3 (19:58):
I think you gotta have a deep face. I don't
think I got the room.

Speaker 5 (20:01):
For that, you really do.

Speaker 1 (20:03):
Let's see, we've got some snow or not snow, I
mean some snow flakes. But if you're in the mountains
like the ski areas they were, go getting some snow
this week. All right, all right, I've over get some.
You know, we always see some flakes and some sleep
a little bit later this morning to be aware of that.
And again we will be on one hundred point nine,
one hundred point nine.

Speaker 3 (20:21):
And ninety nine point three starting Thursday. We ask you
to please make the move with us. So right now,
take the time, set it in your preset. We're not
playing there right now, but starting Thursday morning, you can
find us there.

Speaker 5 (20:33):
Thanks for starting your day with a morning mix. It's
Man Harris and Liz Luda and are Wooden or who
would am I?

Speaker 2 (20:41):
The problem would be?

Speaker 5 (20:42):
The problem?

Speaker 3 (20:43):
Am I?

Speaker 5 (20:43):
The problem?

Speaker 3 (20:44):
Question was this you always are and today specifically is
that her brother in law always expects her and her
husband to just kick in money for gifts for the
in laws, and this year she said, no, right, they
are not, No, we are not kicking and you can't
just buy expensive gifts and expect me to pay for half?

Speaker 5 (21:01):
Yeah seven or four five seven oh one oh seven nine? Tammy,
what do you think?

Speaker 6 (21:05):
I think that they should let the brother in law
get the gift to the parents and the people.

Speaker 3 (21:12):
In the family battle round.

Speaker 6 (21:14):
There a kindly yeah, that may like you want drag
it right to give a parent a big expense of
gift and for everybody else the title.

Speaker 3 (21:25):
You know what, though, if you do go that route,
I'm still going to sign my name even if I
didn't put an If we want to make this awkward,
I'll make it as awkward as I can. Because are
you going to tell him I didn't give you any money,
because then I'll just say you were pressuring for it.
You were shaking me down in the driveway in between
the Christmas lights.

Speaker 1 (21:43):
But they'll see your name, they'll see you sign it.
You just got to do when they hand it over
as they run wrapping go. Yes, we all jipped in.

Speaker 3 (21:49):
That's what you do ever time.

Speaker 1 (21:52):
Hey, I want to make sure that you switch your
dial to where we're going to be from now on.

Speaker 5 (21:58):
Okay, it's one hundred point I got it wrote down.
You gotta wrote down on hundred point nine.

Speaker 3 (22:02):
You got it right, yeah point nine. And I'm so
proud of you.

Speaker 6 (22:11):
Thank you.

Speaker 5 (22:12):
Yes, you're gonna let my children eat. Thank you. You
have a wonderful holiday.

Speaker 6 (22:16):
You too.

Speaker 5 (22:17):
Morning mixed Matt Harris and Liz Luda.

Speaker 1 (22:19):
We are going to tell you about the tall party
and the outrage that and soon in a second. But
we're gon remind you that if you want to hear
this wonderful talk, this is not a tall tale.

Speaker 3 (22:32):
We're about to tell you. Starting on Thursday, if you
go to one of seven nine, you will no longer
hear us. We are making the move to one hundred
point nine and ninety nine point three. I'll go ahead
accommodate right now, go ahead and set that pre secont
it there and uh that way. When you get in
the car on Thursday, you're not like, where did my
friends go? The answer is we we moved a little bit,

(22:52):
but we're still here and we'd appreciate it if you
made the move with us.

Speaker 5 (22:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (22:56):
So there was this uh, there's this this tall group
and they do tall parties yeah, around the land, and
it happened this weekend in Charlotte.

Speaker 5 (23:07):
Yeah, what did you see? That was?

Speaker 3 (23:08):
Okay? So I got really excited for this. I saw
them promoting it all last week and in different cities,
like there was one in Ohio. It was all these tall,
tall people that showed up and so they started saying
it was happening here in Charlotte, and people got pumped.

Speaker 4 (23:22):
They were like, I'm gonna go to this tall party.
It's gonna happen, right.

Speaker 3 (23:25):
There are so many videos that came out of this weekend,
and it is crowded, It is packed, and it was
filled with a bunch of short women trying to find
tall men.

Speaker 4 (23:34):
It was like five foot four women, and so there's
like five foot eight or five foot nine foot.

Speaker 3 (23:40):
Women who were like going around and like interviewing.

Speaker 2 (23:43):
All these other ladies and they're like.

Speaker 4 (23:45):
Do you consider yourself tall?

Speaker 3 (23:46):
And they're like, no, I do not.

Speaker 2 (23:48):
How tall are you?

Speaker 4 (23:49):
Five foot two? What are you doing at a tall party?
Wanted to find a tall man.

Speaker 1 (23:54):
And was.

Speaker 3 (23:57):
Trying to find tall people, and the tall people said,
oh yeah, no, I'm good.

Speaker 1 (24:04):
The minimum height they wanted to be in the part
of this network, uh five foot eight for women, six
one for men.

Speaker 3 (24:13):
And it didn't appear that that's It did not appear
that that's what seemed to be happening.

Speaker 5 (24:19):
But it was mainly women.

Speaker 3 (24:20):
It looked like, yeah, it looked like a lot of women.

Speaker 10 (24:23):
I know, you should have gone and tried for your
eyes I just what just said of it, like some
sort shirt leg eight on the shorty right, yeah, looking,
you know, short kings matter to short kings matter too.

Speaker 5 (24:35):
Yeah, I'm here in protest.

Speaker 3 (24:36):
Yeah, okay, well there you go.

Speaker 5 (24:38):
Five foot eight women.

Speaker 1 (24:40):
I looked at up five 't eight women taller than
ninety z point three percent of women in their twenties
in the US.

Speaker 5 (24:46):
Okay, so that's you know what, ten percent of.

Speaker 1 (24:48):
Women are over five eight, And for men, I just
put in six foot and that is about fourteen percent
over six foot h yeah really yeah? Oh but that
that's all ages. So yeah, what does that surprise you?

Speaker 3 (25:05):
Yeah? That really does, because I feel like I've known
so many people that are taller than both of those heights.

Speaker 1 (25:10):
No, but I mean, you know, because the average height,
I mean an average is weird because it's yeah, as
I supposed to the.

Speaker 5 (25:16):
Mean, the average height for a guy's only like five
seven or something.

Speaker 3 (25:20):
Not always surprises me.

Speaker 5 (25:21):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (25:22):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (25:23):
It's because I come from tall stock, you know what
I mean. I come from tall people.

Speaker 5 (25:26):
How tall are you?

Speaker 4 (25:27):
I'm five ten, okay, but I'm not that tall.

Speaker 3 (25:29):
But I had like uncles that.

Speaker 1 (25:30):
Were six six yeah, yeah, yeah, but that that's super well,
you don't you don't understand that that's rare.

Speaker 3 (25:36):
I mean I knew that their height was rare, but
like I thought, because even my husband, he's maybe six
to one, maybe six two somewhere between that he's the
shortest man I ever dated.

Speaker 1 (25:47):
But you understand that he's tall though, right when he
was a average height what no, not a fridge height.

Speaker 5 (25:54):
Don't you look around? Look around?

Speaker 2 (25:57):
You notice how you're looking down on everyone.

Speaker 5 (26:01):
Don't you go in anywhere and you see him above
everybody at six'.

Speaker 4 (26:05):
ONE i don't think he seems at. ALL i don't
just that all.

Speaker 1 (26:09):
The sense of, like, YEAH nba, tall, right but he's
taller the most, guys way more than most, guys, right, well.

Speaker 3 (26:16):
Definitely, right shout out to.

Speaker 4 (26:17):
Us we're a tall.

Speaker 5 (26:18):
Couple you're a tall.

Speaker 1 (26:19):
Couple BUT i guess that all the ladies they were
looking for the tall guys didn't work out for.

Speaker 4 (26:23):
HIM i, mean maybe a couple of them at.

Speaker 3 (26:25):
Somebody.

Speaker 5 (26:25):
Yeah maybe you can't lie when you're at that thing, Though.

Speaker 4 (26:29):
No it's really easy to, tell even if you got heels.

Speaker 3 (26:31):
On you.

Speaker 6 (26:31):
Know.

Speaker 1 (26:32):
Yeah Mornings Matt, Harrison Liz, Luda your kid's birthday party went?

Speaker 3 (26:36):
On, YEAH i happened this past, weekend AND i was
very nervous about it because he'd been telling me for
months and months that he did not want a birthday,
party that it was, cringe that he did not want
to invite friends in, school all the all of. That
and about a week Before, thanksgiving he decided to let
me know that he did in fact want a birthday.
Party AND i kind of panicked BECAUSE i, thought, well

(26:57):
what AM i going to? DO i don't, HAVE i
DON'T i don't. Have is anybody GONNA? Rsvp? Like how
AM i going to make this? Happen it's the week Of, thanksgiving,
like no one's gonna have this top of. Mind and
so we ended up planning it for this Past. Saturday
we did it at a bowling alley in Rock, Hill,
yeah AND i told him it was a nineties nostalgia,
birthday so that went.

Speaker 5 (27:18):
Old, days not the other, century the last. Century.

Speaker 4 (27:21):
Yeah and so we went and he had an absolute.

Speaker 3 (27:24):
Blast he had he like a little a little shirt
from the bowling alley we were, at and he got
his little cake and he and some of his friends
bowled and then eye bowled.

Speaker 2 (27:35):
As, well BECAUSE i figured why not?

Speaker 3 (27:38):
You and obviously my son is the main.

Speaker 2 (27:41):
Focus it is his.

Speaker 4 (27:42):
Birthday oh it's not.

Speaker 5 (27:43):
When you're, around there's something competitive going.

Speaker 3 (27:45):
On but would you have to share THAT i got
three strikes in a? Row all? Right boom boom. BOOM
i didn't even know the term was turkey until somebody told.

Speaker 5 (27:52):
Me.

Speaker 3 (27:52):
AFTERWARDS i was, like, oh, well, YES i am old
whatever that.

Speaker 5 (27:56):
Is but we don't know what your total, was but just.

Speaker 2 (27:59):
Oh, No, sarah it was.

Speaker 3 (28:00):
Terrible it.

Speaker 4 (28:01):
Was it was like seven gutter balls in a.

Speaker 5 (28:02):
Row and then three great.

Speaker 4 (28:03):
Ones and THEN i had a strike AND i.

Speaker 3 (28:05):
Was, like, oh just do the exact same thing again
this and THEN i did the exact same thing. AGAIN
i got another strike AND i was, Like i'll stay
in the same, spun throw it the same, way AND
i got it, again and THEN i don't, know my
kids started like saying something about pizza AND i had
like his cake or.

Speaker 5 (28:17):
Whatever blame, him blame. Him the bumpers up now are
mine on?

Speaker 3 (28:21):
His on the? Kids, yeah we definitely did the.

Speaker 1 (28:23):
Bumpers when you say, nineties what does that mean to?
HIM i mean that well because it might as well
be like little house in the, prairie.

Speaker 3 (28:30):
RIGHT i was thinking that because like it, was it
was like A i don't want to call it like
an old school bowling, alley but you know WHAT i.

Speaker 2 (28:36):
Mean it wasn't like it hasn't been updated like some
of them. Have it looks like the ones you see
IN tv movie scoring was.

Speaker 5 (28:44):
Computerized still it was.

Speaker 3 (28:45):
Computerized, yeah SO i mean it wasn't like.

Speaker 5 (28:47):
IT i haven't been to that one in ten years. Probably,
yeah it.

Speaker 3 (28:52):
Was so much fun. Though it was a great time
and like he had his little SODA's in a, picture
you know WHAT i. Mean very, Good it felt Very
it felt like aday PARTY i would have gone to
as a.

Speaker 5 (29:01):
Kid so nineties theme really didn't. Meet that was for,
you because to, him it's, like what is that? Even?

Speaker 2 (29:06):
Right, yeah exactly what is the? Nineties we have to
bowl by candle?

Speaker 3 (29:09):
Light a nine year?

Speaker 5 (29:10):
Old what is the nineties?

Speaker 3 (29:11):
Even it kind of hyped him up because there's all
that stuff right now For Stranger, things WHICH i think is,
eighties but it kind of has that like that that,
feel you know WHAT i, Mean and so he got
real hype and he's, like, yeah that's, right, right.

Speaker 5 (29:23):

Uh George clooney was on The Kelsey brothers podcast as In, Trelvis, Trap,
Travis travis And, jason and here's what he said about his.

Speaker 5 (31:03):
Relationship you claim that you and your wife haven't gotten
a fight in ten. Years that's, right argue. Lying, No
i'm not, Lying. Travis shall we ask you the same? Questions,
well that's.

Speaker 1 (31:16):
Only been two and a half, years and you're, RIGHT
i haven't gotten an, Argument, Dude i'm sixty four years,
old and what AM i going to argue about at this?
POINT i, mean you get to the point you get
beating down and RICH i think you know how many
arguments do you?

Speaker 2 (31:31):
Have the involved money and when that's taken off of the,
table you.

Speaker 4 (31:35):
Know use think about.

Speaker 3 (31:36):
It some of your common arguments are about like bills
that you're stressed, about or if it's, like, hey you're
not helping out enough around. Home you have enough money
to just hire another stack to take on whatever you're arguing.
About BUT i think it's a lie to say you don't,
fight BECAUSE i think it's.

Speaker 5 (31:51):
Healthy because you still have other. Things you still. Have,
okay you want me to go to this, SOIREE i
want to hang out with my. BOYS i want to do.
THIS i want to do.

Speaker 1 (31:58):
That they're still going to be you, know maybe it's
how they define. It, yeah so maybe some people think
of an argument as this big blow, up.

Speaker 2 (32:07):
Right as opposed to a disagreement.

Speaker 5 (32:09):
Disagree maybe that's you don't have to yell to.

Speaker 9 (32:12):
Argue maybe like you're in your, sixties you're you have
so much money that you know you can do whatever
you want.

Speaker 2 (32:20):
To what's one? Night you know WHAT i?

Speaker 9 (32:23):
Mean LIKE i can see that mindset being like where
now it's like my time is. Limited where if somebody's, like,
HEY i want to occupy your time with something you
don't want to, DO i can see that being an argument.

Speaker 5 (32:35):
Where he also says he ends that in ten, years
so he might be down.

Speaker 2 (32:39):
Shrew, okay there we, go there we.

Speaker 1 (32:41):
Go and and The kelsey, one he's gonna say that
because he has, to because they're both. Famous that it's
two and a half, years, RIGHT i still think you
had a disagreement somewhere in.

Speaker 5 (32:50):
There has MAYBE i found this.

Speaker 1 (32:54):
One Kelly rippa was on Uh Kylie kelsey who Is Jason,
kelsey he's Wife, okay, okay all, right and was on
there and she said and they both. Agreed they're like
anybody and this was before. This anybody who says that
they don't, fight they.

Speaker 5 (33:10):
Say they're full of. Bleep, kelly, YEP i was. Bleeping.
YEAH i don't know what are? You seven o four
or five seven oh one or seven.

Speaker 3 (33:16):
Nine there's at least an angry whisper that's taking, place
or a comversation in a, Car like there's no way
where you can just every single time absolutely agree on,
everything or to just be like LIKE i don't, know
or to like placate the other, person to just say
that you agree if you. DO i don't think that's.
Healthy it's gonna.

Speaker 2 (33:33):
It's gonna bubble.

Speaker 3 (33:34):
Up it's gonna.

Speaker 9 (33:35):
Fester, yeah but there is something to be said Of,
YEAH i just don't, care So i'm not gonna argue about.

Speaker 5 (33:41):
It and also they don't have.

Speaker 3 (33:42):
Kids he, does he's got two kids that are like
ten with.

Speaker 5 (33:46):
Her, yeah OH i didn't know.

Speaker 2 (33:47):
That oh, wow.

Speaker 5 (33:49):
Kids that changes. It maybe he doesn't see, them.

Speaker 3 (33:53):
So you have to change the house so. Large the
house is so larger on the other wing of the.

Speaker 2 (33:58):
House is that what it?

Speaker 3 (33:58):
Is? You? How?

Speaker 1 (34:01):
Okay, Yeah i'm even THROWING i thought maybe you take
off their stress of no, kids you take off the
stress of, money you stake off the stress of a
lack of. TIME i thought, maybe. Right but now riding
the kids to the, Thing, yeah now you got me
questioning my. Question My i've just never seen them.

Speaker 2 (34:16):
Around so they're eight years, old they're, twins.

Speaker 3 (34:21):
And they're. EIGHT i can speak. Personally is someone that
has only one eight year?

Speaker 4 (34:24):
Old it has led to some. Disagreements just imagine what.

Speaker 2 (34:27):
With the dorrito dust of two eight year. Old there
goes your.

Speaker 3 (34:32):
Argument though they're wealthy enough that they can literally just
pay someone to follow the CREDEN i don't.

Speaker 1 (34:38):
Know i've heard people say. THIS i KNOW i actually
only only one other couple that says they, don't and the.

Speaker 4 (34:46):
Other in law says, that AND i think she's a.

Speaker 1 (34:47):
Liar Morning Max's Matt harris And Liz Luda and you saw.

Speaker 5 (34:55):
An, owl, Yes AND i, said who hahna got?

Speaker 3 (34:58):
You? Yeah and AND i took it as a sign
from the. Universe SO i know this is gonna sound
silly to some. People my sister, SAYS i have this
thing called magical. Thinking But, SATURDAY i just had a
lot happening in life. Recently you. KNOW i had a
dog who, passed another dog who asked undergo. Surgery there's
just a lot of change in turmoil, recently And i'm

(35:19):
not gonna. Play it's been getting me down And i've
been feeling just. Stressed and So saturday, EVENING i came
home AND i asked my husband IF i could just
have some some time in the. BACKYARD i just wanted
some quiet reflection WHERE i didn't, have you, know a kid,
yelling you, know just like. Quiet and SO i was
outside AND i don't want to call it meditating because

(35:40):
it wasn't like that full. On it was just me
having a quiet moment for. Myself AND i looked up
AND i have never ever in my, yard ever seen this.
Before BUT i had an owl and it wasn't dark,
yet it was, dusk AND i will SAY i did
not have my wiener dog with, me so it wasn't
there to try to feast on. It, OKAY i look
up AND i see in the and it's just blending

(36:01):
into a tree and it was just straight up staring at.

Speaker 2 (36:03):
Me and at FIRST i was, like is that like a?

Speaker 3 (36:06):
Statue and then it moved its head to the side
and it looked back at, me and like you, know
sometimes when you're like stressed, out you're, LIKE i see to,
sign just a sign that everything's gonna work. Out AND
i swear that's WHEN i saw the, owl AND i
started crying and it was like a.

Speaker 4 (36:20):
Thing it was like a whole.

Speaker 3 (36:21):
Thing and SO i feel like it was the universe telling,
me like everything's, okay and the sign of seeing an.
OWL i know this because like many millennial, WOMEN i
had the owl pendant back in twenty. Twelve we all
wore with our leggings and slouchy boots and it's supposed
to be like a sign of. Wisdom athena was the
goddess of wisdom in you, Know greek. Mythology and then

(36:43):
it's also supposed to be the symbol of like a
messenger somebody's other worldly and. Transformation and it doesn't necessarily
mean it's a bad.

Speaker 2 (36:51):
Thing it just means there's some.

Speaker 3 (36:53):
Change but LIKE i took it as a peaceful and
a positive.

Speaker 5 (36:57):
Sign good you Should, yeah you can call.

Speaker 2 (36:59):
Me Oul oh, yeah, yeah yeah.

Speaker 3 (37:02):
Yeah and it's, LIKE i know it sounds silly to some,
People like my personal belief system is of The christian,
faith BUT i still believe in signs and symbols and
asking to see.

Speaker 4 (37:12):
Things AND i felt like that was a that was
meant for me to see in that.

Speaker 5 (37:16):
Moment if they, say do you know what you? Mean
if you see doves that you can?

Speaker 3 (37:20):
CRY i don't.

Speaker 5 (37:21):
Know prince symbolizes peace and.

Speaker 1 (37:24):
Love oh, okay, eagles you see one of, those, strength,
courage and.

Speaker 5 (37:28):
Vision it may inspire you to rise above.

Speaker 1 (37:30):
Challenges oh, nol wisdom and, intuition tune in your inner, voice, introspection, hummingbirds,
body joy and. ADAPTABILITY i might remind you embrace life's.

Speaker 5 (37:44):
Beauty.

Speaker 1 (37:46):
Ravens they are period of break of significant life. Change
it may prompt you to prepare for a new.

Speaker 3 (37:51):
Beginning oh, No, ravens don't get in. Here, no you
can go.

Speaker 2 (37:53):
Ahead do you want any of that positive changes for a?

Speaker 5 (37:57):
Robin there you.

Speaker 1 (37:59):
Go sparrow makes you you want to seek support and
embrace your. Relationships, okay there you.
