Een moordzaak als deze kom je bijna niet tegen in Nederland. Het begint met een raar sms’je naar familie en vrienden, daarna een mogelijke vermissing en eindigt met een vriendin die de moordenaar blijkt te zijn. Politie en justitie geven een uniek inkijkje in het onderzoek naar de moord op Ichelle van de Velde.
Het gebeurt eigenlijk zo goed als nooit dat de politie zo openhartig praat over een opsporingsonderzoek en wat dat met hen heeft gedaan. In de 8e en laatste aflevering van de podcast Moord in de Spirituele Winkel wordt hier uitzondering op gemaakt.
