Cuernavaca ha logrado construir el taco acorazado más largo del mundo, con una impresionante longitud de 80 metros. Esta hazaña culinaria, en la que participaron cientos de chefs, estudiantes y voluntarios, superó el récord anterior. El enorme taco, una especialidad regional, se preparó con una gran tortilla, arroz y diversos guisos y rellenos.
El evento se llevó a cabo frente al histórico Palacio de Cortés y contó con música en vivo y presentaciones culturales. Aunque la marca fue certificada por un notario público, los organizadores decidieron no solicitar el reconocimiento oficial en el libro de Récords Guinness debido al alto costo. El taco acorazado es considerado un símbolo de la identidad de Cuernavaca, profundamente arraigado en la historia de la ciudad.
