Speaker 1 (00:10):
You're listening to a MoMA Mia podcast. Mama Mia acknowledges
the traditional owners of land and waters that this podcast
is recorded on whoever said orange is a new pink
with seriously disturbed laurels for spraying groundbreaking? Oh my god,
you have to do it.
Speaker 2 (00:28):
You live for fashion?
Speaker 1 (00:31):
Hello and welcome to Nothing to Wear the podcast. It
solves fashion problems and levels up your wardrobe and mine too.
I'm Lee Campberlin. Every week I chat to an expert
who helps us work out how to get more out
of the clothes we already own and tells us what
is and isn't worth adding to our wardrobes. Now, Victoria
Latu has been on the show before and I had
to get her back again and in real life this time.
(00:52):
She's based in Melbourne, but she's flown up to Sydney
to join me today. She is one of the most stylish, hilarious,
wonderful people I love to follow on Instagram. She's a
stylist and she's all about wearing your special stuff. It
doesn't have to be expensive. But she wears a fur
coat a fake fur coat to school drop off. So
let's ask her how to get dressed this winter from
(01:14):
sports sidelines where it's bloody freezing, what shoes we're wearing,
what we were in to date night, when jeans and
a nice top can't just be a singlet. Just going
to help us get dressed in the depths of winter
and feel good and stay cozy. Let's do it, Victoria,
welcome back to nothing to wear. It's so good to
have you back in Sydney in real life.
Speaker 2 (01:32):
I know I had to make it in flesh to
see you and experience the studio for myself because last
time we did this it was online.
Speaker 1 (01:39):
Yeah, exactly. You're in Melbourn, where you're based, So it's
so good to have you here now before we get
into winter dressing and what we were on the weekend
when we just want to chuck on our leggings. I
ask returning guests a few questions. So what's your biggest
fashion investment or impulse purchase that you that comes to
mind when I ask you that.
Speaker 2 (01:58):
Okay, I actually feel embarrassed to say this. I don't
know why, but after I did such a huge purchase,
I am it's one of the best purchases. So I
think it's a guilt association with spending but I'm really
happy about it. It was actually a piece of fine
jewelry from Van Cleef Beautiful. I saw it and I
(02:19):
instantly could just necklace earrings. It was a bracelet, but
Vangcliff Jeury like they're stacks, so you could wear it
as a necklace. You could do it as you know.
I've already sold it to myself as a bracelet. My
daughter can have it. Yeah, passed out.
Speaker 1 (02:35):
In generally an investment jewelry piece.
Speaker 2 (02:37):
It was, yeah, and it was something that I purchased,
loved it, and when I was going home, I was like,
I can't believe I just did that. I honestly couldn't
believe it. But now it's one of my favorite pieces ever.
Speaker 1 (02:53):
I love Van Cleef and our pearls. One day when
I'm grown up and have enough funey I'm getting.
Speaker 2 (02:57):
I don't think you ever feel like I don't know,
maybe from the way, I never feel.
Speaker 1 (03:03):
Like it's you know, but it's a beautiful brand to
you know, aspire to. Second question before we get into
the topic, do you have style news?
Speaker 2 (03:10):
Do I have a style muse?
Speaker 1 (03:12):
No?
Speaker 2 (03:13):
I really kind of I'm a libra. I'm indecisive, so
I go with the weather. Sometimes I love what you're
wearing and what you're doing, and sometimes I don't. I'm
not that's the thing about fashion, You're not. I don't
believe that you have to be permanently.
Speaker 1 (03:27):
Yeah, yeah, totally. Once you know you cannot, your allowed
to change your mind. I scroll interested and then I
if I really love something, I'll screenshot and put in
a folder, but I'll cut their head off, so I
don't know who they are.
Speaker 2 (03:37):
Just said that I love the vibe perfect. That's exactly
how you discover your style. So you pick the photo
and you think about what about this do I like?
And you try to dissociate it from the person wearing it.
Speaker 1 (03:51):
Yes, so correct, that's it, because it's more just about
the silhouettes or the color.
Speaker 2 (03:55):
Color of the style of the piece, and you're not
the person.
Speaker 1 (03:58):
Yes, I love it, all right. We're talking winter. We're
in the depths of winter. You're from Melbourne, you poor thing.
Speaker 2 (04:03):
I mean, I know if I can tell you how
cool it was this morning.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
My husband's from Melbourne, so I'm there a fair bit
and and it still blows my mind, only because I
think it would be easy to live in Melbourne and
have all your big layers, but when you're just going
down for a night or two from Sydney or from
somewhere else, you've often only got a small case. But
a big coat that's warm enough for Melbourne is your
whole case.
Speaker 2 (04:24):
The whole thing. And that's why you always I always
have checked luggage.
Speaker 1 (04:27):
Well, you mean you can't not. But if anyone can
help us get dressed in winter, it's you. Because you're
from a very cold, very stylish city. So people might
have their whole winter wardrobe sorted already, but they might not.
And also winter comes around once a year. So what's
your shopping hacks or what's your vibe when it comes
to shopping for cold weather?
Speaker 2 (04:48):
Okay, my vibe is I think winter is one of
those seasons that you really want to invest in quality,
you know. It's one of those things that I would
actually advise for you to buy well, you know, which
usually means spend a little.
Speaker 1 (05:04):
Bit more, buy less.
Speaker 2 (05:05):
But by well, you buy well, you buy better and
you buy less, you know, so rather than buying and
you kind of want to buy those things that will last,
you know, season after season. The great thing about winter
is if you actually do buy a great coat or
a great jacket, you can wear it next season and
the season after. I have clothes in my closet, especially
(05:27):
the leather jackets that I've had four are going on
six seven years, and like the more battered and worn
out they are better, they get the cooler. So I
actually advise that you shop better by well and less often.
Speaker 1 (05:41):
I think that's such a good theory. You know, somewhere
you can buy cheap little ku bikini this or a
little bit. But winter, I think we put our clothes
through so much, you know, and also the fabrics can
peel and ball and you.
Speaker 2 (05:52):
Know, and like sometimes I'm one of those people because
I love fashion so much. Sometimes I see something I
tell myself, I have the shiny object syndrome.
Speaker 1 (06:01):
What's that? Just like collect shiny everything?
Speaker 2 (06:05):
And I'm like, that looks fantastic and it's such a
fashion moment. But you're not going to wear it because
it's going to itch and it's going to irritate you,
and it's not going to be cozy. It's going to
be you know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (06:15):
So there's nothing worse than an itchy jumper. I don't
care how good, how good it's itchy, I'm going to
take it off, no way.
Speaker 2 (06:21):
That's why. So you want to buy good quality fabrics,
you want to buy well. And the truth is, in
a winter, I think that your outerwear does all the
heavy lifting. Honestly, if you follow my Instagram, you probably
don't want to hear this again.
Speaker 1 (06:32):
No, no, we want to stylish mom.
Speaker 2 (06:35):
So you need to know that your outerwear is where
you should invest all your energy because it does all
the hard work.
Speaker 1 (06:42):
For you, right, And I mean like you and I
both kind of work in fashion, you more so, so
we can have a lot of fun with our weekday wardrobe.
But for the most part, you know, a lot of
women might have a corporate job, there may be a mom,
they might be studying, so the weekend I mean again,
might not be all that glamorous, but there's a lot
on the weekend. And I find that, you know, with
(07:02):
a six year old, if I'm not doing much, I
even though I've got a wardrobe full of beautiful colthes,
I fall back to my Lululemon leggings, which are great,
but I just grab that same kind of not really
thought through practical stuff. But sometimes we want to feel
good on the weekend if we don't have the lifestyle
of a movie stuff. So I'm going to run you
through some weekend scenarios. You're gonna help us get dressed
(07:25):
for those scenarios in winter. That's not just grabbing the
T shirt that's got yogurt all over it. Yeah, so
weekend sport, a lot of listeners might have kids or
they might just be doing something outdoorsy that's fucking freezing.
So we're on the side like maybe replace with ourselves.
I don't what do we wear to that sort of
scenario in winter. We want to be comfy, we want
to be cozy, but we don't want to be in
(07:47):
our oversized, falling down leggings.
Speaker 2 (07:49):
Okay, kind of on the same vein. It's so unfortunate
because I really love this trend, which is the elevated
track pand yes, but God's but unfortunate because it doesn't
look good on me. And I'm one of those people
like it just doesn't.
Speaker 1 (08:03):
Okay, so it's not for you, but talk me through
that law.
Speaker 2 (08:06):
So that's actually quite a good look. I would recommend
because it's comfy. So it's a track pant, it's a
nice soft fabric, it has the track running alongside it,
and that's right. Yes, And you can find a variety
of these ones. You can find them a big w
(08:27):
They have a great pair at Victoria Woods.
Speaker 1 (08:29):
Yeah, and you've got some Camila remark ones.
Speaker 2 (08:32):
Everyone's done it, so it's I have tried them in
all the because I was so that is one thing
and the other.
Speaker 1 (08:42):
But we wear it with You can wear it.
Speaker 2 (08:44):
With a knit. You can. Actually. The other thing I
want to make sure that everybody understands is like the
knits and the layering, so the different versions of them.
Everyone thinks in it has to be chunky and bulky,
but the kind of knits that I am loving are
do you mind if I right now? So basically think
that it's almost I want to say it's skiv, but
(09:06):
it's not. Is that what you call it? This is
from Skims, It's yes, but it's not. It's normal Khmalie
but something like that. So this is kind of like
a oh myos. It's not a scuba fabric, but it
gives you that liquid look. Yeah, actually quite warm. It's
robbery comfortable, So depending on how cold it is, you
can wear this as a layer itself. It's a long
(09:26):
sleeve and it actually has.
Speaker 1 (09:28):
No Normal Kamali Oh my god, a finger hole.
Speaker 2 (09:30):
A finger hole. So I'm telling you I have this
in black, in navy, in brown obviously brown, and you
can layer it. That looks so cool and it's sexy
as well. I think you know if that's what.
Speaker 1 (09:43):
You're going because for those who don't know, Normal Kamali
is the designer that did that iconic sex in the
city run shoulders sort of real stress. I've got that
in the green that I one hundred years ago, but
I thought Normal Kamali was and it's it's a designer,
but it's but it's not that crazy and often on
sale and often I'm safe.
Speaker 2 (10:01):
So again that's like a light Yeah, it's like almost
like almost like your active word material, but not quite
do you know what i mean? Eleva Again, similarly, you
can find things not along this sort of fabrication, but
you can find these sort of layers out Uniqlo. Yeah,
clow has. So what I'm trying to say is like
you can have the thin layered situation and then layer
(10:23):
the chunk in it on top for that extra warmth,
and then you have the option of dislayering.
Speaker 1 (10:27):
Ye and I also love how like there's a lot
going on around your neckline, and when you look at someone,
you're looking in their eyes, so you look for a
stylectrom up. You haven't even seen what's going on down here.
It's all the where your eyes go.
Speaker 2 (10:38):
That's exactly what we're doing with this exactly. So I
recommend stuff like it. So you can wear the elevated
trap pants with something like this, which I actually do
recommend because they're quite looser over time. My formula that
I use is if you're wearing something a bit loose,
you kind of balance it out with something a bit
more body conscious and VI it's not always obviously fitted,
(11:00):
but feitted. Most likely you don't look overwhelmed by your
clothing if you play with proportions. So you can do
it that way. You could do it with a knit
strategically tucked in at one side in the front that
kind of layer it with maybe a jacket or trench depending.
So I find and they're comfortable and they're warm. They're
elevated track pads, you know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (11:21):
And you know what I love about those is like,
even if you're just getting the big w one s,
you're spending a lot of money. They're really great for
this winter or maybe next winter to wear out. But
then when something like that starts to just wear over
with time, then they're your house track is they just
go down the lifespan not really wearing like your I
guess leather pants don't run it and don't kind of
(11:42):
wear out. But there's some things that are never going
to be worn around the house and a fancy tracking
pant and then it just gets to stay in and
you go, oh no, you live in the living room.
I'm taking this somewhere else. On the weekend, we're talking
about date night or going out and dressing up, because
(12:03):
one of the biggest questions we get asked here is,
you know, regular listeners might not have a massive wardrobe
or be too experimental, but in somemer they've got it.
They might be going out with the girls. I'll do
jeans in a nice top what we call jeans and
a nice top. But then finding the winter version of that, right,
so what are we wearing?
Speaker 2 (12:18):
I actually love winter dress and I think it's a say.
Speaker 1 (12:23):
That's why you're a fashion expert.
Speaker 2 (12:25):
I'm going to take you on a januine me. Ladies,
stylish moms. And I hope you guys understand that it's
kind of tongue in cheek the whole. You're not a
regular mom, You're a stylish mom. It's more like, remember
you got this.
Speaker 1 (12:36):
Yeah, so I make time for you.
Speaker 2 (12:38):
Yes, and make time for you. So it's all about
layering and textures. Okay. The very easy one to go
to is I love a good stocking. I love it's
just I think winter is automatically sexy. Think texture. So
let's start with the stocking thing. You don't even have
to say stocking. I say, like an opaque. Is it
like a sheer? It depends, It depends on like if
(13:00):
you it's a sheer obviously, because I don't think it's
like all black. But again, it's on the look. So
if you have there's nothing more sexy to me than
a blazer dress with and it doesn't have to be
super super short, you know, just like the nice blaze
of dress, long sleeve, short sleeve, but like complimented with.
I think even in summer that's a sexy look, but
I think in winter it's more appropriate, especially for weather
(13:23):
and that extra layering kind of thing. The other thing
I love is leather, swap your jeans for a leather
for leather pants, a.
Speaker 1 (13:32):
Lot of kind of they don't have to be those
really tight, uncomfortable things. I'm getting a barrel jean in
a leather exactly.
Speaker 2 (13:39):
Everyone, let's move on from the tie. I think I'm
getting old because I'm like, nothing tight on me.
Speaker 1 (13:43):
Please, don't touch me, don't touch me.
Speaker 2 (13:47):
So yes, leather, leather pants, leather jackets, all that kind
of stuff.
Speaker 1 (13:51):
And the other thing, do you do double leather? I don't.
Speaker 2 (13:54):
I think that's too much.
Speaker 1 (13:55):
I tried, because you know how it's double dinner was
scary for a long time, and now which you bore quadrupledeneming.
I was like, well, I can apply that to leather.
And then I tried to do double leather, and I
looked like I was Sandy from Greece or I was
like trying to start a bite.
Speaker 2 (14:08):
With Beyonce on tour for Yeah, I.
Speaker 1 (14:10):
Just double leather's hard. So maybe a leather pant with.
Speaker 2 (14:13):
A leather in it, or a she tarp. Okay, the
shear tarp thing is another kind of thing. Before I
get to thrown off this podcast because a lot of
women don't like this year thing. But a lot of
women do because I think again, you get scared off
because you're thinking sheer and like my Tommy is open
on mys are out. You don't have to have it
could be just your declotage. So it's all about that
(14:38):
you want to love she I am. Honestly, I'm thinking
that I don't care when the trend goes away because
I'm forever going.
Speaker 1 (14:44):
To you know, to be back, and you will be
back exactly. That's good for winter sometimes because you know
you're going out at night it's cold or whatever. But
anything that's sort of really covered up just doesn't feel
fancy enough for a sheer. You're still covered, you've got
a bra or a came or whatever. But it's a
bit of a something and they're affordable.
Speaker 2 (15:02):
They're everywhere exactly, and it actually gives you that option
of layering, yeah, that you know, extra warmth and comfort
you're looking for.
Speaker 1 (15:10):
I had a fancy work event recently and I had
a long sleep. It was very affordable of a long
sleep length like floor length gown that was that sheery fabric.
It wasn't too sheer, but the top I was like,
oh dear, so I lay it another shear top under it.
You couldn't even see the shear top under it, and it
just gave that visual like barrier.
Speaker 2 (15:27):
I love it.
Speaker 1 (15:28):
Now you and I get to play with our clothes
and call it work. But some people on the weekend
are like, shit, we're running late. I've got to jump
in the ear, but the kids aren't ready. I've got
three minutes, probably thirty seconds to think about my outfit.
What are you grabbing? Or how do we avoid those situations?
Do you think women have a couple of go to outfits?
Speaker 2 (15:47):
I actually so. Every season I tried to put out
a look book or like a shopping guide because I
assume or not that I assume, I know from experience
that it's good when you shop around a capsule. Do
you understand? So if you kind of start with the
necessities of what you might need and then again, it's
(16:08):
all about the mix and match and the variety and
the functionality. But it's all there for you. And that's
exactly why brands now when they do the drops, they
essentially do their drops as a capsule you can go.
I've just recently done. Com Shopping with me is on
my Instagram at Jackie at Witchy, a dish and everything
that they do as a drop works too bad. That
(16:30):
is a reason for that. So when you are actually
starting this season, you want to kind of fill in
those gaps, whether it would be the jacket, the.
Speaker 1 (16:38):
Pants, you might have some if you try and exactly.
Speaker 2 (16:42):
And it's all about that. So I think at the
beginning of a season you kind of do that. So
again in a winter, it's imperative that you kind of
have one or two pieces of outerwear that you just grab.
Speaker 1 (16:53):
I'm so glad you say that because you mentioned out
ofwear at the start, and I want to go there
now because I feel like it hides a multitude of sins.
If I do have those baggy, saggy old leggings on,
if I've got great outerwear, no one notices.
Speaker 2 (17:06):
Can I just tell you the thing about like my
school mum can vouch for this. It's like two different
people show up and drop it. Like I come in
to drop off my kids with pajamas on becaulous trench.
Speaker 1 (17:18):
I walk to school, so I'm literally still in.
Speaker 2 (17:20):
My pajama, literally with it, you know, but it covers
up everything. My hand pulled that baseball back and then
on the way back I'm more styling because.
Speaker 1 (17:27):
You've been exact if she do.
Speaker 2 (17:31):
I know, but it's I am so dependent on outerwear and.
Speaker 1 (17:37):
Talk to me about what's your face? So by we
are we still a trench?
Speaker 2 (17:41):
Okay, the thing in Melbourne at this particular moment, you
are going to weigh at trench, but you're going to
have to double layer if that's kind of how you
want to go. But I understand if you're going into
an office, you can just like take some layers. So yes,
so the trench could work an oversized trench those classic
you know. Yeah, still not. I don't know if it
(18:03):
will ever because our minds are so oversized at the moment.
So but eventually everything does come back. So good trench.
But that's not what I am leaning towards this season.
I think what I don't know if this is for everybody,
and I'll come back to everybody later. But my biggest
thing that I'm completely obsessed with this season is fair.
Speaker 1 (18:23):
Say.
Speaker 2 (18:24):
So I'm not sure it's for everybody, but I think
I have like a different and I have really convinced
my cry Again, I'm not I keep saying I'm not
that tall. I'm five to seven, so people say I'm
so tall, but I'm not.
Speaker 1 (18:39):
Okay, you would do long or you would do crops
because of.
Speaker 2 (18:41):
Your oay, so I would do I would do short
because of my height because I think I'm not that tall.
But that also might have something to do with my hair.
I think it might be just too much. It might
be just too much. And that's why I think, because
I'm very into my proportions, I'm like, Okay, maybe this
is too overwhelming. So I'm always not too much of everything.
Still like a nice I have this one that I
(19:04):
love from Perry Cutton Victorian Woods. That's a great realm
from Zara that kicked it off. There's just a variety
and fake fur and they're so good.
Speaker 1 (19:14):
The color I have, I have like a burnt on
my Instagram.
Speaker 2 (19:18):
Even in the shopping Guy that I've done, I've made
a selection because there's just so much. It's a huge trend.
And again automatically, how man you notice that?
Speaker 1 (19:27):
I mean I have, But I'm not going to school
drop off in a fake I mean I might now tomorrow.
I've never just I'm an oversized bomber a barn jacket
this winter, but I've never thought of wearing my fake
fur in the day.
Speaker 2 (19:37):
That well, okay, so I do.
Speaker 1 (19:39):
But I'm going to now I'm excited.
Speaker 2 (19:42):
I but having fashion. So my excuse is like I've
just come from a sheet and I just encourage everybody
to try something. You know, people are like, well that's
not for me, but have you tried it? So the
other thing I think is actually quite popular and trending
and quite functional is a barn jacket. Like a barn
giant jacket is very chic, It's very princess Kate, Katherine.
Speaker 1 (20:02):
It's very sort of I mean, the name says it all.
I mean, you're not that you're in a barn, but
it's generally like a natural colored fiber, like a beige,
like a beige. Yes, I'm very into a bun jacket
at the moment. And I think they're also good trend
season going into spring because although they probably need layering
because they're not super warm, you're gonna wear them like
a lot of around the year, around the year.
Speaker 2 (20:23):
I love, love, love that.
Speaker 1 (20:24):
And then puffer jackets. So are you anti puffer?
Speaker 2 (20:27):
I am?
Speaker 1 (20:27):
This was somebody anti puff?
Speaker 2 (20:29):
I just can't there's so much variety, not to so
much on the market right now that I actually think.
Speaker 1 (20:41):
It's just like wearing a sleeping bag.
Speaker 2 (20:43):
That's why you should wear You're going to say that
it's very expensive.
Speaker 1 (20:59):
I want bougie and budget, my friend. I want you
to go first. So Victoria, your bougie and budget is
one in the same, because you've got a bit of
a story for us, So tell me what it is.
Speaker 2 (21:12):
So I don't know how well I fall into the
category of what you've asked me to research for you,
but I am completely and hodterly And this is why
I know I have a problem because the Row is
such a nothing brand, but.
Speaker 1 (21:28):
I am obsessed nothing brand.
Speaker 2 (21:32):
Look head it on style, Like even when you go
to the website.
Speaker 1 (21:36):
It's very classic and minimal. But it's the cool girl brand.
Speaker 2 (21:38):
That's what I'm saying. But when you actually see it
on people, you're.
Speaker 1 (21:41):
Like, wow, I love it.
Speaker 2 (21:42):
It's so fantastic anyway.
Speaker 1 (21:44):
But they're so expensive.
Speaker 2 (21:45):
So just sometimes I'm surprised that people thinks So this
is why we found the budget version?
Speaker 1 (21:53):
Do I do? Show me?
Speaker 2 (21:55):
Okay?
Speaker 1 (21:55):
So I'm assuming that's not the authentic Margo, which is
like eight thousand, Oh okay, I mean it looks like it,
and if it is, I'm robbing you.
Speaker 2 (22:05):
I'm not an idiot. Okay, well sorry, if you have it,
I want.
Speaker 1 (22:09):
To say, I don't want to the judge it you
made an impulse purchase a Van Cleef.
Speaker 2 (22:12):
It could be, but bank lifts will go up in price.
Speaker 1 (22:15):
No, yeah, correct. So the Row has a very iconic,
yes always sold out bag called the Margo, which is
exactly this. So what's that is?
Speaker 2 (22:22):
So this is from a brand, an Australian brand, Italian
made Dolcha thema Okay, so this, the original Margo bag
is about thousand, thousand and eight and keeps increasing with
every new release. So this one is six hundred and
fifty dollars, which it's still.
Speaker 1 (22:44):
Not cheap, No, it's but it's genuine sways, it looks.
Speaker 2 (22:48):
It's actually I know I've seen the real ones. Yeah quite,
you know, because I've looked and that's desired at the window. Yes,
but so I know this is such a fabulous.
Speaker 1 (22:59):
But it's right, it's real, swayed right, you can see
the hands ceiling.
Speaker 2 (23:03):
Around the inside. It's perfect.
Speaker 1 (23:05):
Yeah, it's high.
Speaker 2 (23:06):
It's just it looks good good, bad. Six fifty instead
of fifty instead of six thousand over seven thousand sort
of more. Yeah, so she's that is my bougie budget.
But to even take it down a level, you can
actually find these bags because a very easily style. You
can find a very simizara you know all that.
Speaker 1 (23:28):
I can't faux leather sorry, in fauxx level fa foa
sweight or real swede.
Speaker 2 (23:34):
You can find them for sure.
Speaker 1 (23:36):
So we're talking winter, we're talking getting dressed. You're gonna
hate my budget. And I can't wait to tell you
about it. It's from Asoce. It's the Asos design rubberized
rain hooded trench coat with belt detail in burgundy one
hundred and thirty six dollars. It comes in burgundy, black
or khaki. It's literally like wearing a giant rubber coat.
Can I tell you I love it? Okay, salad to
(23:57):
you buy it oversized so I would size up and I.
Speaker 2 (24:00):
Really wait, it's rubber, rubber, assize rubber.
Speaker 1 (24:03):
Well it goes. It's from size AU four to AU eighteen. Yeah,
I mean it's kind of like from far away might
look leather look, but it's kind of like.
Speaker 2 (24:14):
Okay, I know what you mean, Yes, I know what
you mean.
Speaker 1 (24:17):
I love the Burgundy.
Speaker 2 (24:18):
It's got the lapels because if I'm a habit, I'm lover. Sorry,
lover has the same thing if you google lover. Yeah,
I'm the iconic.
Speaker 1 (24:24):
But this is one hundred and thirty six dollars and
I love the burgundy. It's oversized. If you're on the
sidelines of your son's sport and it's a two hour
game and it's just started pissing down rain, I mean,
I know I would leave. But it's literally fully waterproof,
So you're beautiful casual underneath is not no, it's literally waterproof.
They're very cool. Look, it's that all the puffer for me,
so I can go because I'm periman apausal, so I
(24:47):
like to have nicer layers underneath, and then like literally.
Speaker 2 (24:50):
Like wear no more bummer.
Speaker 1 (24:51):
Not now it's like wearing a well it's a rain coat.
Yeah yeah, all right, So this is my bougie and
you're gonna hate it, and I can't wait to tell
you about it. It's not all that expensive, but I'm
obsessed with We've seen in the last sort a month
or so one of the biggest trends I've ever seen
in winter is the explosion of the all cardigan with
the built in scarf. Everyone has done them. My favorite one, well,
(25:15):
of course I'm not playing favorites, but it's the Zara
woolcoat with scarf. It's one hundred and eighty five dollars,
so it's this really kind of beautiful gray wool coat,
almost like a blazer, and then the scarf's built in.
Everyone's doing it, so it's like, you know what, you
check on your coat, you run out of the door, you
get to the bus, and you go, shit, I forgot
my scarf. No you didn't, it's built in. And there's
some beautiful cardigans. Next has some really beautiful cardigans with scarves.
(25:39):
Everyone's doing them. I think I've even seen a Target version.
So that's a really easy, fast way to get dressed
in winter. Is like outerwear with the scarf built in.
Speaker 2 (25:48):
Yeah, Mischa has a good one as well, a long
gray coat with that scarf tail.
Speaker 1 (25:53):

rest of my life, so you're gonna have to come
