Duitsland en internationale veiligheid
De verhouding met Amerika en inzet in Oekraïne is onzeker. Merz’ partij (CDU-CSU) pleit voor Europese samenwerking, maar wil eerst Amerikaanse stappen afwachten.
Wie is Friedrich Merz?
De 69-jarige CDU-leider is conservatief en populair bij oudere kiezers. Zijn partij scoort rond de 30%, minder dan gehoopt, wat zijn positie verzwakt.
Stemprocedure en kleinere partijen
Kiezers brengen twee stemmen uit: op een kandidaat en een partij. Kleine partijen als FDP en Bündnis Sarah Wagenknecht stijgen licht, wat coalitievorming bemoeilijkt.
Peilingen en mogelijke coalities
Grote verschuivingen blijven uit, maar de AfD kan boven 20% eindigen. CDU-CSU zoekt coalitieopties, maar een meerderheid is niet vanzelfsprekend. Coalities met 3 partijen een garantie voor zware onderhandelingen.
