Duidelijk is in ieder geval dat de stijgende zorgkosten in Duitsland ook voor het volgende kabinet een groot thema blijft.
Verder gaat het over de Duitse steun aan Oekraine: Olaf Scholz benadrukt dat extra militaire hulp van €4 miljard niet ten koste mag gaan van pensioenen of lokale budgetten. Derk bespreekt daarnaast de politieke reacties en spanningen binnen partijen over de schuldenrem en financiering.
Friedrich Merz waarschuwt ondertussen tegen te snelle verduurzaming ten koste van de Duitse industrie. En er zijn spanningen in de relatie met China: dalende export en stijgende import beïnvloeden de Duitse industrie.
